Introduction. Most electromagnetic compatibility studies carried out in the context of power switch research are generally valid for low frequencies. This frequency restriction appears to be too restrictive for a complete analysis of the electromagnetic interference conducted. The novelty of this work lies in the load-dependent an optimal selection of IGBTs and MOSFETs for least-disturbance power switching in the frequency range from 150 kHz to 30 MHz, based on an optimal experimental selection procedure and show the impact of load value on switch switching and noise generation. Purpose. Analysis of the fundamental possibility of selecting a switching device with a power supply based on an experimental measurement which allows to increase the reliability of the entire mechanism operation and significantly simplify the design. Methods. In this paper, the proposed study is used and compared with experimental results at low and high frequencies. Then, a comparison is made for conducted electromagnetic interference (common-mode and differential-mode) generated by IGBT and MOSFET for different loads, and the proposed methodology is verified on an experiment suitable for predicting terminal overvoltage analysis and conducted electromagnetic interference problems. Practical value. The primary method for establishing a conducted electromagnetic interference source for switching devices is based on IGBT and a MOSFET depending on the resistive load. Introduction. This paper focuses on a renewable energy system coupled to a dual purpose power grid via a parallel active power filter for injecting photovoltaic energy into the grid and improving the power quality in the presence of the non-linear load. The novelty of the work consists in the combination of two advanced techniques – Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) and the optimized Anti-Windup Fractional Order Proportional-Integral Differentiator (AW-FOPID) regulator based on Particle Swarm Optimization with the Spreading Factor (PSO-SF) algorithm, applied to the improved Direct Power Control (DPC) strategy under different conditions related to climate changes and healthy or infected electrical network. Purpose. Its main role is to improve the power quality and reject the perturbations deforming the electrical network under distorted, unbalanced and balanced grid voltage conditions. Besides, the FLC is employed the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) under any weather conditions. In addition, the optimized AW-FOPID controller leads to keep the DC bus voltage at its reference value with small undershoots and overshoots in the voltage with a short response time in steady or dynamic states. Methods. The rejection of disturbances affecting the grid is offered by the improved DPC. On the other hand, an intelligent method based on fuzzy logic was used MPPT under any weather conditions. Furthermore, an AW-FOPID regulator based on PSO-SF algorithm is used to keep the DC bus voltage at its reference value with small undershoots and overshoots in the voltage, while keeping a fast response time. Results. The proposed system control is evaluated in various states of power source: distorted, unbalanced, and balanced by simulation using MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and performance of the studied control strategies. References 26, tables 8, figures 16.

Design / Method / Approach: Multifaceted analytical methodology was utilized, including logical, statistical, and graphical techniques to investigate the rocket launcher market thoroughly. A systemic approach facilitated the examination of the interrelationships among technological innovations, economic implications, and political factors. Structural-functional analysis delineated the operational mechanisms of various market segments, and comparative analysis was used to discern global tendencies and regional specificities. Findings: Reveal an analysis of the strategic approaches of entities engaged in the production of rocket launchers, emphasizing their state of development and evolution over time. This analysis also identifies the factors impacting the rocket launcher market, which are critical for the strategic formulation and adaptation processes. Strategies demonstrating significant efficacy amidst rapid market changes were distinctly highlighted. Theoretical implications: Contribute to expanding the knowledge base regarding the strategic perspectives of companies in the field of space economics, offering new data and interpretations. This integration of economics, technology, politics, and international relations showcases the benefits of an interdisciplinary approach in understanding complex industry processes in a changing market environment, specifically regarding strategic management in a changing market environment. Research limitations / Future research: The primary challenge for analyzing the market and company strategies is the limited availability of verified and reliable information, as the rocket launcher market is closely intertwined with state defense programs, which significantly restrict information access. Future research could delve deeper into the impact of technological innovations, government regulations, and the interaction between the rocket launcher market and other aerospace sectors on the strategies of companies from different countries. Introduction Vegetarianism is an eating pattern centred on plant-based food. It encompasses many diets that differ in terms of whether they contain goods originating from animals, like milk and eggs. Nowadays, vegetarianism is increasing in popularity in developed nations, particularly in Europe. Individuals choose vegetarian diets for reasons related to health, ethics, or ecology. The rising popularity of vegetarian diets is not limited to adults but is also increasing among children. Aim of the study Vegetarian diets are generally considered to be beneficial for health. However, there are concerns over the ability to meet the dietary requirements necessary during infancy, youth, and adolescence on a vegetarian diet. Therefore, the primary aim of this systematic review is to answer questions about the efficacy of a plant-based diet in meeting the nutritional requirements of children and how to avoid the risk of nutritional deficiencies among vegetarian children. Material and methods Article provides an overview of the current literature about the vegetarian diet in children. The information has been collected from a comprehensive search of electronic databases, scientific journals, and statement papers published by nutrition and paediatric organisations. Results Following a vegetarian diet can be a beneficial decision for all children, assuming that it is properly organised and well balanced. The majority of paediatric and nutrition organisations do not recommend more strict diets for children, such as a vegan diet, which fully excludes not only meat but all animal products.

Introduction: In the last few years, obesity has become a central issue with more than 2.6 billion people worldwide being overweight or obese. While the risks associated with this condition and its rising significance are widely known, the effect of this attention on screening and treatment remains unsatisfying. This paper explores multiple treatment strategies and evaluates their effectiveness in preventing obesity-related complications. Review methods: We conducted our study as a literature review, with data being gathered via PubMed and Embase. The state of knowledge: Physical activity, behavioral therapy, and proper nutrition remain the foundation for obesity therapy. However, in many cases these approaches are insufficient. Recently, there has been a dynamic development of bariatric surgery, which in comparison to lifestyle modification, results in better long-term effects and improved quality of life. New surgery procedures, such as sleeve gastrectomy and adjustable gastric banding, have shown to be one of the most effective, but they carry a risk of complications. Conclusions: Growing treatment options allow doctors to choose more targeted strategies, based on the patient’s risk factors, overall health status, and compliance. Improvements in surgery, especially laparoscopic techniques have opened new possibilities for patients with morbid obesity.

Introduction Ashwagandha, a traditional Indian plant, is gaining increasive attention from scientists worldwide due to its potential health benefits, especially in the context of its antibacterial and anticancer properties. Aim of the study The aim of this review was to discuss recent findings regarding the impact of Withania Somnifera on antibacterial effect and its potential applications in anticancer therapy. Materials and methods: The paper was created based on the Pubmed and Google Scholar database. The literature was reviewed using the keywards: ,,Ashwagandha”, ,,Withania Somnifera”, ,,antibacterial ”, ,,anticancer”, ,,side effects”, ,,breats cancer”. Results Studies have confirmed Withania Somnifera, exhibits significant anticacterial and anticancer effects. It inhibits the growth of both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. Futhermore, it demonstrates anticancer activity, especially in breast cancer, by stimulating apoptosis, induction of cytotoxic effects on cancerous cells and increasing cell sensitivity to radiation. Conclusion Despite promising results, futher research on the benefits of Ashwagandha, particulary in the long term, is essential. There is growing need of more research of the potencial benefits of Ashwagandha in the treatment of various disorders including cancer and bacterial infections and to develop more effective therapeutic strategies. Introduction and purpose: Citrus bergamia, commonly known as bergamot, is a unique plant native to the Calabria region in Italy, prized for its fragrant fruits and versatile applications. Historically utilized for extracting essential oil, bergamot has garnered attention for its therapeutic properties, particularly its Bergamot-derived Polyphenolic Fraction (BPF), which exhibits lipid-lowering, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive summary of existing research on the therapeutic potential of BPF in humans. Brief description of the state of knowledge: BPF has shown promise in supporting wound healing, alleviating neuropathic pain, and exhibiting antimicrobial properties. Research highlights BPF's role in modulating lipid metabolism, particularly in reducing LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing HDL cholesterol levels. Additionally, BPF demonstrates anti-inflammatory effects, accelerating the recovery process in conditions such as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and potentially influencing pathways involved in cancer cell proliferation and apoptosis. Further studies explore BPF's impact on bone metabolism, erectile dysfunction, and its potential in dermatological applications, particularly in counteracting photoaging. Conclusions: While existing studies underscore the promising therapeutic effects of BPF in various medical domains, further research is warranted to establish its efficacy and safety for broader clinical use. Continued investigation on a larger scale holds the potential to develop BPF as a valuable physiotherapeutic strategy across diverse medical fields.

Introduction The rising prevalence of electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) use has prompted concerns regarding its potential health implications. While much attention has focused on respiratory and cardiovascular effects, injuries, oral trauma, and bone fractures linked to e-cigarette use have received less scrutiny. This paper aims to comprehensively review the landscape of injuries, oral trauma, and bone fractures induced by e-cigarettes, shedding light on this underexplored facet of e-cigarette-related harm. Material and Methods This literature review has analyzed 16 papers. Inclusion criteria: researches and case reports published after 2015. PubMed and Google Scholar has been searched to identify the papers. Analysis of the Literature Existing literature suggests a growing incidence of injuries, oral trauma, and bone fractures associated with e-cigarette use, albeit with limited systematic investigation. Mechanisms underlying these injuries range from device malfunctions to inadvertent impacts during use. Case reports highlight a spectrum of injuries, including oral burns, dental trauma, and skeletal fractures, often involving the face and mouth regions. Conclusions Despite the lack of comprehensive epidemiological data emerging evidence underscores the need for heightened awareness and preventive measures to mitigate e-cigarette-related injuries. Enhanced education, regulation of e-cigarette devices, and promotion of safer usage practices are crucial steps towards reducing the burden of e-cigarette-related harm on oral and skeletal health.

Introduction and purpose: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disease in the female reproductive age. As treatment guidelines include lifestyle changes, various diet types are being evaluated in terms of efficacy among them ketogenic diet (KD) which was also assessed in terms of its influence on another ovarian related disease - ovarian cancer. The aim of this paper is an analysis of the available scientific data in respect of the role of the KD as a part of the therapy of ovarian related disorders. The search was conducted using PubMed and Google Scholarship databases. Brief description of the state of knowledge: Ketogenic diet demonstrates favorable effects in the hormonal profile of PCOS-affected women. It was also noticed that its administration results in the reduction of BMI and the improvement in glycemic parameters. Most of the research was conducted by linking the ketogenic diet with the caloric restriction. In the matter of ovarian cancer the results are unclear; some of the research states the improvement of the quality of life of the participants, but there is some alarming data of the possible role of KD in enhancing the tumor growth. Conclusions: Ketogenic diet merits further research as a possible factor in the treatment of PCOS as foregoing results are pointing to its efficacy. Nevertheless, still more data is needed to determine its role as studies were conducted within a short period of time with relatively small research groups. There are also other limitations such as the lack of comparison with other dietary patterns with the caloric deficit which makes it difficult to deduce the main profitable factor. When it comes to ovarian cancer the results of the current data are also unclear and unambiguous with the possible negative effects.

Introduction: Bladder cancer is one of the most common cancers in the world. There are two forms of bladder cancer: non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and muscle invasive bladder cancer. A common treatment method for non- muscle invasive bladder cancer is intravesical BCG (Mycobaterium bovis) therapy after radical tumor resection. It is estimated that half of patients will have an insufficient response to BCG treatment. Patients using this type of therapy also report side effects more and more often. Aim of the study: The aim of this article is to discuss the latest discoveries in the treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer when BCG therapy is insufficient. Material and Methods: The paper was created based on the PubMed and Scholar database. The literature was reviewed using the key words: „bladder cancer”; „BCG”; „treatment”; „side effects”; „novel therapies”. Results: The research shows that novel therapies are effective and safe compared to the use of BCG. In such patients, atezolizumab, metformin or intravesical magnesium sulfate infusions may be used as an alternative. An innovative solution is the use of HIVEC - heated chemotherapy administered intravesically. There are also drugs that potentiate the action of BCG, making the therapy more effective. These include: sasanlimab and rapamycin. Due to the side effects experienced by patients, the use of intravesical BCG is often replaced with intravesical infusions of chemotherapy drugs. Conclusion: The research shows that novel therapies are effective compared to the use of BCG. Unfortunately, more research is needed to standardize the treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.

These injuries are caused by forceful gripping techniques specific to climbing, making them uncommon in non-climbing activities. With the growing popularity of climbing, there is a rising need for accurate diagnosis and improved treatment methods. This paper explores current diagnostic techniques, including physical examination, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging. It also discusses treatment options, which range from conservative rehabilitation to surgery, depending on the severity of the injury. Finally, it emphasizes the importance of injury prevention through proper warm-up and avoiding excessive strain.

Introduction and purpose: Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), also known as Osler-Weber-Rendu syndrome, is a rare and complex vascular disorder characterized by abnormal blood vessel formation. It can present significant challenges in diagnosis and management, as it is currently estimated up to 90% of those affected are never diagnosed. Despite its rarity, HHT can carry substantial implications for patients and their families, at times requiring comprehensive medical care and support. This paper aims to provide an in-depth exploration of HHT, encompassing its epidemiology, genetics, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and current management strategies. Moreover, we hope to point out possible areas in need of future research. Description of the state knowledge: HHT is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder that affects 1 in 5-10,000 people. Its most prominent symptoms include telangiectasia of skin and mucous membranes, recurrent epistaxis, gastrointestinal bleeding and arteriovenous malformations in vital organs. In the vast majority of cases, it is caused by a mutation in one of the following genes: ENG, ACVRL1, SMAD4; however, mutations in other genes have been described to cause a similar or much the same constellation of symptoms. Treatment options are focused on managing symptoms and improving quality of life, but possible new treatment options are being researched that could change the landscape of HHT management. Summary: HHT is a severely underdiagnosed disease that has seen a surge of researchers’ interest in recent years. We firmly believe that, combined with plummeting costs of genetic testing and possible new treatment options, means that HHT will become increasingly important in physicians’ everyday practice.

The socio-economic crisis in Ukraine, which has worsened over the past decade, has had a profound impact on all local communities. Local governments implementing decentralised mechanisms and anti-crisis financial measures are currently facing numerous theoretical and procedural constraints, which, although not homogeneous, have a cumulative effect. In the context of low economic potential and existing legislative constraints, local governments cannot actively manipulate consistent sources of local budget revenues (taxes) to support sustainable regional development, and therefore a coherent policy of credit and fiscal equalisation is an important aspect of ensuring the sustainability of local public finances. The purpose of the paper is to assess the correspondence between the fiscal sustainability of local budgets (with a focus on the borrowing component) and the economic sustainability of regions. Empirical studies of Ukraine's experience based on regression modelling have not found a clear direct link between the drivers of fiscal sustainability of local budgets (solvency, dependence on intergovernmental grants, stability of tax revenues) and the sustainability of socio-economic development of Ukrainian regions. In addition, in the context of the crisis and external shocks, strict adherence to the criteria of fiscal balance of local budgets undermines the ability to ensure a sustainable recovery of the regional economy, so it is important not to limit the fiscal capacity of communities by attracting local borrowings and intergovernmental grant during the crisis.

This paper aims to assess the development pattern of resource-rich countries like Norway, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the Republic of South Africa by analyzing their stock markets. As resource-rich countries have profound implications for the world's sustainable development, it is essential to investigate whether they transform natural resource wealth into sustained growth by reorientation from related to raw material industries to modern ones based on information and technologies. The analysis of resource-rich countries' stock markets allowed us to conclude that partially these countries are on the way to an economy dominated by intangible assets. Nevertheless, despite the declared intentions, some traditional attachments to raw materials are still present. At the same time, most companies in the optimal portfolios of these markets have a long-term nonlinear strategy. The impact of the pandemic COVID-19 turned out to be significant, but short-lived. The research was carried out based on R and Python packages.

In the paper, we explore the effects of monetary policy shock on the economic growth in systemically important countries such as the US, the Euro Area and China and their impact on Ukraine. Thus, the war in Ukraine and the rise of key policy rates by central banks to curb inflation have had a significant negative impact on economic activity. There has been both a significant decrease in trade activity and a slowdown in the services sector growth, which was the main engine of global economic growth at the beginning of 2023. Based on the vector autoregression model results, we demonstrated a slight initial decline of GDP growth with following stabilization in response to the rise of key policy rates in the US. In China, this decline is much bigger and constitutes 11% after the shock. In the Euro Area, we also observe a similar pattern as in the US with an initial decline up to 2% and a further return to equilibrium. Analyzing the results of the forecast error variance decomposition, we should note that GDP fluctuations in systemically significant economies are mainly explained by their own fluctuations. The key policy rate’s contribution ranges from 1% in the US to 11% in China. At the same time, economic growth in China is less vulnerable to inflation fluctuations, in the Eurozone we observe the most sustained one among the considered economies. In addition, the study shows that the key policy rate in the United States has a positive effect on the one in Ukraine.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policy instruments, to determine the level of influence of monetary and fiscal factors on economic growth, as well as to justify ways for improving the effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policy coordination. Insufficient coordination of monetary and fiscal policies entails devastating economic consequences. The critical analysis of scientific publications proved that today the coordination of monetary and fiscal policies depends on the degree of balanced regulation of interest rates and inflation control. The research uses a NARDL model to capture mainstream trends in the influence of monetary and fiscal factors, as well as in the empirical study of their coordination. According to the estimations it was established that the weighted average rate of NBU instruments is absorbed to a greater extent in the monetary component of coordination, the system of managing the internal public debt – in the fiscal component. The participation of monetary authorities in the management of the national internal debt remains a debatable issue today. It is proved that the process of coordination of monetary and fiscal policies is influenced by the state of Ukraine’s economy during the war. Despite the difficult political and economic situation in Ukraine, it is necessary to focus on improving the coordination of monetary and fiscal policies. In particular, the significant contribution of the NBU in financing the state budget deficit due to their purchase of government bonds needs to be resolved. Strengthening the role of macroprudential policy in the coordination of monetary and fiscal policies, one of the goals of which is to counter the emergence of a systemic crisis; formation of a clearly developed coordination strategy, which would be based on clearly defined goals, set tasks on the basis of selected methods and instruments for their achievement.

This paper examines the financing of green energy initiatives as a critical element in strengthening Ukraine's energy security, especially in the context of post-war reconstruction and the need for sustainable and resilient energy infrastructure. The study aims to assess the potential and challenges of investing in green energy in Ukraine, considering the destruction caused by Russian military actions in the winter of 2022-2023, and the need for recovery based on sustainable models. In this regard, the obtained results emphasize the importance of creating a reliable and decarbonized energy sector, driven by both domestic needs and international cooperation with the EU and other partners. The analysis shows that despite strong support for the green energy transition, the development of the sector is hindered by the high capital intensity required for green technologies, which are often not competitive without government subsidies. This requires a careful balance between innovation and commercial viability of green energy projects, highlighting the need for public and private investments in technologies that can compete with traditional sources of energy in the long term and developing new financing tools for Ukraine. The conclusions indicate that a multifaceted approach is needed to ensure Ukraine's energy future and minimize risks. Such an approach should include policy reforms, strategic investments in proven green technologies, and fostering partnerships to bridge the commercialization gap. Policymakers face the dual challenge of accelerating the energy transition while managing financial constraints exacerbated by military spending, highlighting the trade-off between rapid development and the risks associated with financing innovation. Overall, this study contributes to the understanding of how green energy financing mechanisms can enhance Ukraine's energy security, suggesting broader implications for policy, investment, and technological innovation in the context of Ukraine's post-war recovery and future resilience.

The paper considers the generalized temperature dependence of the stress intensity factor KJC in the WWER-1000 reactor pressure vessel metal, which was derived based on the surveillance test data for fracture toughness. The consistency of the shape of the Master curve and 95 % upper and lower confidence bounds with the experimental dependence of crack resistance parameters on temperature was studied. From the point of view of the level of conservatism and acceptability, a comparison of the normative curves of fracture toughness according to NPRR (Nuclear Power Rules and Regulations) G-7-002-86 and SOU NNEGC (Standard of organization of Ukraine, National Nuclear Energy Generating Company) 177:2019 with a 5 % confidence bound of the Master curve was carried out. The possibility of using RT0 temperature as a temperature index instead of TK for the normative fracture toughness curve of SOU NNEGC 177:2019 was considered.

Purpose. The purpose of the study was to economically evaluate the condition of animal husbandry in the Republic of Kazakhstan and also to determine the necessity and possibility of the creation of an effective meat hub. Methodology / approach. The following methods were used: economic analysis and synthesis, comparison and analogy, systematization and generalization, factor analysis, institutional analysis, and modelling that helped identify problems of the livestock industry, and ways for its development. Results. The paper presents the results of the analysis of world and regional production and consumption of livestock and poultry; import and export of meat products in Asian countries, including Kazakhstan; the dynamics and structure of livestock in farms of different categories; the dynamics of gross income of livestock production of the republic; SWOT-analysis of efficiency of agricultural enterprises. Studying the meat market trends in the world and in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also the dynamics of production and consumption of meat and meat products is a basis for argumentation when choosing strategically important measures on application of forms and ways of control, creation of the economic forecast, definition of the basic vectors of effective development of this industry in the long term taking into account influence of factors of various nature. Originality / scientific novelty. The study makes an original contribution by providing a comprehensive, evidence-based analysis of the current state and future prospects of Kazakhstan’s livestock sector, while proposing innovative structural solutions through a specialised meat hub to improve productivity, quality and competitiveness. Practical value / implications. The study suggests the need to enhance meat production to meet domestic demand and boost exports. Achieving this involves innovating meat processing and sales, improving animal productivity through genetic advancements, enhancing infrastructure, and establishing livestock centres. Ongoing monitoring of the meat market is essential for crafting strategies to improve the livestock sector. Besides, creating a “meat hub” model will reduce investment and operational expenses for production units, streamline production based on set standards and consumer demand, enhance product liquidity, and augment income for small entrepreneurial forms.

Purpose. This research aims to quantify the willingness to pay (WTP) of urban residents in the Mekong Delta for the environmental and social benefits associated with renewable energy projects. By analysing their preferences and priorities regarding renewable energy implementation, this study aims to contribute to the increasing knowledge on the drivers of sustainable energy transitions in developing regions. Methodology / approach. This paper leverages a choice modeling (CM) framework to analyse the economic viability of renewable energy investments in Vietnam. The CM technique is advantageous for its ability to capture individual preferences for complex goods or services characterised by multiple attributes and trade-offs. This enables a detailed assessment of the diverse economic values associated with renewable energy sources, beyond their traditional energy generation capacity, including environmental externalities, social impacts, and potential synergies with other sectors. Results. Residents showed significant WTP for renewable energy initiatives improving landscape aesthetics, wildlife habitats, air quality, and job opportunities. Higher income, education, and knowledge level are positively associated with greater WTP. Younger respondents showed a strong position in favor of renewable energy sources. Households with more children were less likely to support the status quo, and married respondents were more pro-renewable. Perceived community involvement emerged as a significant factor in supporting renewable energy policies. Originality / scientific novelty. This study represents a novel application of CM within the Vietnamese context, providing valuable quantitative data for policymakers and stakeholders. By estimating WTP for specific renewable energy attributes, we inform cost-benefit assessments and support the development of efficient policies for managing renewable energy investments. This data facilitates resource allocation and prioritisation of projects with the highest societal value. Practical value / implications. Our findings underscore the crucial role of public awareness and education in driving renewable energy implementation. Residents with a clear understanding of the benefits demonstrate a higher WTP. Hence, we recommend a multifaceted communication strategy to educate the public about the environmental, social, and economic benefits of renewable energy. This involves utilising diverse channels like community meetings, media outreach, online platforms, and expert engagement to disseminate accurate and engaging information. By fostering knowledge and understanding, we can cultivate a strong public mandate for renewable energy investment, facilitating informed decision-making and accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future in the Mekong Delta.

Purpose. This paper aims to give a system-wide overview of agricultural life cycle assessment (LCA), based on the understanding of agriculture as a complex providing humanity with food, energy and other vital resources and considering all forms of sector’s influence: environmental, social, and economic. This review is intended to outline the temporal and geographical spread of agricultural LCA research, the main aspects studied with LCA in agriculture, and relevant scientific themes via bibliometric analysis and an overview of high-quality scientific publications in this field. Methodology / approach. This study used traditional bibliometric research techniques: performance analysis, scientific mapping, and network analysis. Bibliometric analysis was conducted through the Bibliometrix R package in the RStudio and its extension – Biblioshiny. The bibliographic collection covers 259 academic English-language articles indexed in Scopus for 1999–2022. Results. The study identifies a significant growth in a number of agricultural LCA publications, a tendency of current LCA research to continue and complement earlier research findings, and to accentuate environmental aspects of agricultural activity. Developed countries lead this field of research in terms of productivity and impact. However, LCA studies are geographically concentrated, and collaboration between developed and developing countries is weak. The following issues shape the agri-LCA research structure: greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions analysis; LCA of various impacts of agriculture; challenges of agriculture environmental impacts measuring; LCA usage to ensure agriculture sustainability; agri-LCA methodology. Emphasis on GHG emissions in agri-LCA could lead to biased decisions promoting climate-resilient agriculture but neglecting other impacts and dimensions of the sector’s sustainability. Originality / scientific novelty. It was found that the rapid development of the field of research featured a certain stability, continuity, and historical relationship between the issues studied. Research transform from a highly specialised topic into a broader one by the scope of publishing sources but are highly geographically concentrated and not equally distributed even within the European Union. As far as is known, these results have not been previously reported. Practical value / implications. The identified “closedness” of the research community leads to weak scientific progress. Sharing knowledge and involving a broader set of stakeholders to promote LCA application in agriculture globally must be a priority of scholars and policymakers.

The purpose of this paper is to construct anisotropic and spatially homogeneous Bianchi type-VI0 Kaniadakis holographic dark energy (KHDE) model in general relativity. For this purpose, we consider Hubble horizons as the IR cutoff. To obtain a deterministic solution of the field equations of the model we assume a relationship between the metric potentials which leads to an exponential solution and accelerated expansion. In order to investigate the physical behavior of our dark energy model, we obtain some important cosmological parameters like Hubble, deceleration, equation of state and statefinder as well as ωkhde-ω'khde, r-s and r-q planes. We also included the stability analysis for the dark energy model through the squared speed of sound. It is observed that the equation of state parameter shows ΛCDM model at late times. Also, the squared speed of sound gives the stability of KHDE model at initial epoch and model is unstable at late times. Statefinder diagnostic and deceleration parameters exhibit a smooth transition of the universe from decelerating phase to current accelerated expansion of the universe and also correspond to the ΛCDM model at late times. All these cosmological parameters support recent observational data.

In this paper, we study a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-III universe containing cold dark matter and Barrow holographic dark energy within the framework of General Relativity. We assume the cold dark matter and Barrow holographic dark energy to be non-interacting and obtain exact solutions of the Einstein field equations by considering a hybrid expansion law and assuming that the expansion scalar is proportional to the shear scalar. We examine the physical and kinematical properties of the resulting model using parameters such as the Hubble parameter, the anisotropic parameter, the deceleration parameter, the equation of state parameter, the jerk parameter etc. We also examine whether the energy conditions are violated or validated. We find that the Null, Weak, and Dominant energy conditions are fulfilled, while the Strong Energy Condition is violated, which supports the accelerated expansion of the universe. The Statefinder diagnostics have been conducted based on recent cosmological observations. In addition, we reformulated the correspondence between quintessence scalar field and Barrow holographic dark energy model.

This paper is devoted to investigate five dimensional homogeneous and isotropic FRW model with varying gravitational and cosmological constant with cosmic time. Exact solution of the Einstein field equations are obtained by using the equation of state p = (γ −1)ρ (gamma law), where γ which is an adiabatic parameter varies continuously as the universe expands. We obtained the solutions for different values of curvature K = 0, 1,−1 by using a(t) = R0(1 + α2t2)n, where α, n and R0 are positive constants. Behaviour of the cosmological parameters are presented for different cases of the models. Physical interpretation of the derived model are presented in details. Interestingly the proposed model justified the current cosmological observations with dark energy.

This paper investigates and examines a wide range of findings related to the description of holographic Ricci dark energy (HRDE) with the bulk viscosity within Universe's late-time accelerated expansion in the framework of an anisotropic Bianchi type-III cosmological model with pressure-less matter content in the Brans-Dicke theory of gravity. We are using the relationship between the metric potentials to obtain a precise conclusion to the field equations, resulting in a rapid expansion. Several major cosmological parameters, including Hubble, deceleration, matter energy density, Ricci dark energy density (RDE), and Equation of state (EoS), are used to investigate the physical behavior of our dark energy model. We detected some of the viscosity of the holographic Ricci dark energy model using current cosmological observations. We describe how the model's physical and geometric properties are compatible with recent compilations.

In this paper, we investigate the effects of anisotropic parameters, topological defects, and magnetic flux on the dissociation energy of bottomonium in an anisotropic quark-gluon plasma. We use the three-dimensional Schrödinger equation and derive the energy eigenvalues. Our findings show that the dissociation energy decreases with increasing temperature, but there is a slight shift towards higher values when the magnetic flux is increased. Furthermore, the inclusion of topological defects causes further shifts in the dissociation energy at high temperatures. Additionally, we analyze the impact of anisotropic medium on dissociation energy, both with and without considering topological defects. We observe that including topological defects results in higher values for the dissociation energy across all temperatures, while ignoring them leads to lower values at all temperatures studied. Moreover, we consider the baryonic chemical potential and find that its effect on dissociation is negligible compared to temperature variations. These findings provide valuable insights into the behavior of heavy quarkonium systems under different physical conditions and contribute to our understanding of topological effects in anisotropic media.

In this paper, the influence of gravitational modulation on weakly nonlinear biothermal convection in a porous rotating layer is investigated. We consider a layer of porous medium saturated with Newtonian fluid, containing gyrotactic microorganisms, and subject to gravitational modulation, rotation, and internal heating. To analyze linear stability, it is sufficient to represent disturbances in the form of normal modes, while nonlinear analysis includes a truncated Fourier series containing a harmonic of the nonlinear interaction. A six-dimensional nonlinear Lorentz-type model is constructed, exhibiting both reflection symmetry and dissipation. We determined heat and mass transfer using a weakly nonlinear theory based on the representation of a truncated Fourier series. Additionally, the behavior of nonstationary Nusselt and Sherwood numbers was investigated by numerically solving finite amplitude equations. Applying the expansion of regular perturbations in a small parameter to a six-dimensional model of Lorentz equations with periodic coefficients, we obtained the Ginzburg-Landau (GL) equation. This equation describes the evolution of the finite amplitude of the onset of convection. The amplitude of convection in the unmodulated case is determined analytically and serves as a standard for comparison. The study examines the effect of various parameters on the system, including the Vadasz number, modified Rayleigh-Darcy number, Taylor number, cell eccentricity, and modulation parameters such as amplitude and frequency. By varying these parameters, in different cases, we analyzed heat and mass transfer, quantitatively expressed by the Nusselt and Sherwood numbers. It has been established that the modulation amplitude has a significant effect on the enhancement of heat and mass transfer, while the modulation frequency has a decreasing effect.

This paper presents a numerical study of the linear and non-linear stability of thermosolutal convection within a porous medium saturated by a non-Newtonian binary fluid. The power-law model is utilized for modeling the behavior of the working medium. The given statement implies that the horizontal boundaries experience thermal and solutal flow rates, whereas the vertical walls are impermeable and thermally isolated. The relevant factors that govern the problem being investigated are the Rayleigh number, , the power-law index, , the cavity aspect ratio, , the Lewis number, , and the buoyancy ratio, . An analytical solution is obtained for shallow enclosures ( ) using the parallel flow approximation and a modified form of the Darcy equation. By solving the entire set of governing equations, a numerical investigation of the same phenomenon was conducted. One of the most intriguing discoveries from this research is that it identifies a bi-stability phenomenon, this particular phenomenon signifies the existence of two stable solutions. The results obtained from both methods demonstrate a good level of agreement across a diverse range of these governing parameters.

In this paper, a comparative study on MHD forced convective flow for heat transfer efficiency of different nanofluids with water (H2O) as base fluid has been carried out. Here, in this study flow through vertical rectangular has been considered in presence of strong magnetic field. In this laminar flow we consider duct walls as electrically non-conducting where the transverse magnetic field acting normally on the duct walls. Joule heat and the viscous dissipation effects are included in the energy equation and furthermore the walls of the duct are kept at constant temperature. An explicit finite difference method has been adopted with fine grid in the control volume for solving the governing equations of this MHD nanofluid flow. Computational processes are carried out using MATLAB code. In this present work we have plotted the flow fields velocity, induced magnetic field, and temperature for various values of MHD flow parameters graphically by varing thermal Grashof number (Gr), Hartmann number (Ha), Reynold number (Re), Eckert number (Ec), Prandtl number (Pr), magnetic Reynold number (Rm), and nanoparticle volume fraction (ϕ) respectively.

The paper studies effect of induced magnetic field on laminar convection flow of a viscous electrically conducting incompressible fluid between two parallel porous plates at constant temperature gradient in presence of a uniform inclined magnetic field. An angle (θ) is formed with the vertical line by applying a magnetic field in that direction and field is strong enough to induce another field along the line of flow. Using the proper similarity transformations, the flow equations are converted into ordinary differential equations, which are then numerically solved by using MATLAB's bvp4c solver. Plotting of the graphs allows one to examine the effects of several critical parameters such as Hartmann number, Darcy number, Magnetic Reynolds number, Prandtl number, and Field inclination on velocity field, induced magnetic field, temperature field at the plates. The acquired results demonstrate that the flow system is effectively influenced by the field inclination, the magnetic parameter, and the plate porosity. The rise in field inclination leads to an increase in magnetic drag force.

The development of efficient metal doped semiconductors for Photovoltaic applications has gained a lot of research attention. In this present paper, pure and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs)-modified TiO2 nanocrystals (NCs) with different amount of AgNPs (say 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 µL) were achieved and the effects of AgNPs on the TiO2 NCs were explored systematically. The optical, structural and morphological properties were probed using UV-visible spectrophotometer, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results of the optical studies showed a characteristic peak of TiO2 and the redshifting of the peak position was observed by introducing AgNPs. The synergetic effects from AgNPs and TiO2 results to diminished band gap. The XRD result confirmed the formation of a tetragonal anatase TiO2 phase with a decrease in crystallite size with increasing AgNPs content. The SEM images show enhanced nucleation and film growth with presence of shining surface which can be seen to contribute to good photon management by enhancing light scattering. The unadulterated TiO2 and AgNPs-modified TiO2 have spherical morphology and uniform size distribution ranging from 20 to 30 nm. This study established the view that surface modification of TiO2 with AgNPs is a viable approach towards achieving an efficient light photocatalyst.

The paper reports the sharp increase in resistivity and the conductivity change (type) in the single-crystal silicon sample doped with vanadium. The electrical and optical properties of single-crystalline silicon were determined Hall- and four-probe measurements and infrared (IR-) spectroscopy. Relative resistance, charge carrier concentration, mobility, and concentration of optically active oxygen and carbon in the samples were determined layer-by-layer. It is shown that in silicon samples doped with vanadium the concentration of optically active oxygen atoms tends to reduce.

This paper presents the results of a study of the state of ytterbium atoms in silicon, carried out using the methods of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (IR) and Raman spectroscopy (RS). Silicon samples doped with ytterbium impurities were analyzed using FSM-2201 and SENTERRA II Bruker spectrometers. Registration and identification of both crystalline and amorphous phase components in the samples was carried out. The results of the study confirm that doping silicon with ytterbium impurities leads to a decrease in the concentration of optically active oxygen by 30-40%, depending on the concentration of the introduced impurities. It was also found that an increase in the number of defects leads to a broadening of the amorphous zone. It is assumed that similar dependencies exist for the Si-Yb system; however, to the best of our knowledge, similar results have not been reported previously. It is noted that the relative intensity of the three Raman bands in Si-Yb systems in the LTIOS (The light and temperature induced ordered state) state changes, and the relative intensity of Si-Si decreases. This indicates that pendant bonds are mainly formed by the breaking of Si-Si bonds. It was also observed that the light intensity causing this condition is far from that required for laser or solid phase crystallization. Using the Raman spectroscopy method, a structural transformation was discovered, expressed in a densely packed array of nanocrystals with a size of less than 11 lattice parameters. Small clusters were under strong internal stress (up to 3 GPa), which probably prevents the cluster size from increasing beyond the critical value for irreversible crystallization.

The paper investigates the collection coefficient of minority charge carriers in silicon p-i-n photodiodes and the influence of certain technological factors on it. It has been found that the diffusion length of minority charge carriers and the resistivity of the material have a significant effect on the value of the collection coefficient, since the collection area of photogenerated charge carriers increases with increasing these parameters. It was also found that an effective method to increase the collection coefficient of photodiodes is to ensure that the thickness of the high-resistance region of the photodiode is equal to the sum of the diffusion length of minority charge carriers and the width of the space charge region. The effect of the concentration of dopants on the responsivity and collection coefficient is investigated. It was found that, in contrast to the calculated data, in which the collection coefficient increases with decreasing concentrations of phosphorus and boron, in the experimental data, with decreasing concentrations of impurities, the responsivity and, accordingly, the collection coefficient decrease due to a decrease in the degree of heterogenization and, as a result, a decrease in the width of the space charge region and the diffusion length of minority charge carriers.

In this paper the content of heavy metals at the territory of Pyatihatki settlement, where the National Scientific Center Kharkiv Institute of Physics & Technology (NSC KIPT) is located. The nuclear-physical methods were used to determine the content of chemical elements in the soil samples taken in 30 points at the territory of Pyatihatki settlement in 2011-2021. The elemental analysis was carried out on the analytical nuclear-physical complex "Sokol". The methods, based on registration of characteristic X-ray radiation of atoms and g-radiation of nuclei excited by accelerated protons, were used. After the measurements completion, the data arrays on the content of 15 chemical elements (N, Na, S, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, Zr, Br, Sr, Pb) in the soil samples were obtained. The data arrays processing was carried out using the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) PMF v3.0.2.2.2 software based on the application of the PMF (Positive matrix factorisation) algorithm. ArcView 3.2a was chosen as the basic software product for the analysis of spatial distribution of the major polluting chemical elements. As a result of the performed work, the pollution sources, which have an impact on the territory near the NSC KIPT, have been identified. The source of the soil pollution is the autostrades, among which the road around the city Kharkiv stands out, where an increase in the content of Pb, Sr, Zr, Cr and Cu was detected. A source of chromium contamination, located presumably to the north-east of Pyatihatki settlement, was identified. The analyses of the obtained data showed that the PMF method allows to identify the factors that affect the soil contamination, and to determine the presumptive sources of pollution with the help of wind rose.

This paper presents the impact of temperature variations and alterations in transistor channel dimensions on CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) circuit technology. To facilitate this investigation, we first identified critical parameters characterizing the device's performance, which could exhibit susceptibility to these influences. The analysis encompassed critical metrics such as the transfer characteristic, drain current, logic levels, inflection points, and truncation points. These parameters enabled us to validate the results obtained from the PSPICE simulator, which demonstrated unequivocal effectiveness. Notably, our simulation results unveiled significant effects resulting from a wide temperature range spanning from -100°C to 270°C, offering valuable in-sights into thermal-induced failures. Additionally, the influence of channel dimension changes on factors like drain current and transfer characteristics, as well as temporal parameters including signal propagation delay and rise and fall times, were meticulously examined and appreciated.

In this paper, we have presented our investigation on the characteristics of nonlinear dust acoustic waves (DAWs) propagating in an inhomogeneous collisionless magnetized dusty plasma (MDP). In this problem, we have considered a collisionless plasma consisting of nonthermal ions, non-extensive electrons and negatively charged dust grains. Using the reductive perturbation theory (RPT) we have derived the modified Zakharov-Kuznetsov (m-ZK) equation. The solution of m-ZK equation indicates the nonlinear characteristics of the DASWs in plasma. Our investigation also predicts how the amplitudes of nonlinear DASWs are significantly modified due to the influence of magnetic field, non-extensive electrons and inhomogeneity parameters in plasma. The results obtained in this investigation may be useful for understanding the propagation characteristics and modification of structures of nonlinear waves in both laboratory and astrophysical plasmas.

Purpose: This research work attempts to identify the determining factors of Koléa university campus generation Z students’ entrepreneurial intention. Design/Method/Approach: The applied research method is a quantitative approach in which a sample of 93 responses were analyzed using two software tools, IBM SPSS 25 and smartPLS4, and by adopting Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) for analysis and estimation. Findings: Results showed a significant and positive impact of subjective norms on the entrepreneurial intention of the study sample. However, entrepreneurial training, attitude towards entrepreneurship and perceived behavioral control had no impact on the entrepreneurial intentions of these students. thus, these findings led to validate the first hypothesis and reject the other three. Theoretical Implications: This study contributes to the extent literature on generation Z students’ entrepreneurial intention in an Algerian context by highlighting the importance of subjective norms in fostering this intention. Practical Implications: Algerian universities should improve and pay more attention to entrepreneurial education and trainings they offer to their students in order to incite them to create their own business using adequate methods. Originality/Value: Understanding the characteristics and needs of Z generation students is important for universities and businesses. knowing what stimulates the generation Z entrepreneurial intention is both interesting and primordial. This information will enable universities to qualify, evaluate, and improve their entrepreneurial training programs. Also, such study in the Algerian context is scarce and still not common. Research Limitations/Future Research: Like many research studies, this study presents limitations, including those related to the size of the sample and the fact that it focuses on only Koléa university students. Hence, it is preferred to conduct further researches on the factors influencing entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z students belonging to various Algerian universities and conclude through generalizing the findings. Also, a longitudinal study would be a great way to track this intention and identifying the other factors that led and pushed some students to take the action and create their own business. What is common for all of them is the willingness to find the right employer. The one open to human needs and aware of their work commitment; the one to offer appropriate work surroundings, self- development and adequate gratification. The paper is aimed at presenting those generational disparities, for awareness of them is crucial in efficient human resources management. Worksite is the natural environment, where such age-related experiences and opinions clash, enabling to gain the right perspective and choose the most effective and innovative directing solution. Generationally diverse team brings multilevel benefits for both sites and aids enterprise development.

Objectives This paper focuses on recognising and addressing the challenges of ADHD in early childhood girls. The paper aims to fill a gap in the scientific literature by focusing on the specificity of ADHD in girls, which differs from symptoms in boys. It also aims to raise awareness of the issue of ADHD among parents and teachers and to provide practical therapeutic guidance and educational support that is tailored to the needs of girls with ADHD. Material and methods The source materials for this publication will be various monographs and articles by special educators. The collected material will allow the analytical-critical method to synthetically realise the indicated aim of the work. Results Parents should learn to anticipate potential conflict situations, to exclude them or to plan in such a way that the child can cope with them. It is the parents' task to plan the day in such a way as to introduce a ritual and a daily routine of repetitive activities. Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder need to acquire skills to deal with conflict, emotional labile, anxiety and stress. Conclusions Often undiagnosed girls suffer alone together with their disorder. Close cooperation between parents and teachers is an indispensable element in the treatment of ADHD. A child with ADHD should be allowed to participate in the educational and educational process. It is important to get to know the peer group so that girls with ADHD can learn to recognise themselves and their own reactions and abilities.

This paper analyze the nuanced relationship between corporate income tax (CIT ) rate reductions as a tax incentive and foreign direct investments (FDI) across the Western Balkan countries. Additionally, it examines the extent to which they have progressed with their achievements during two decades (2000-2022). The transition of the Western Balkans from a closed and controlled economy to an open market economy has been challenging, but despite this, they have implemented certain policies to compete in the global market. For instance, they have reduced tax rates and offered tax incentives to attract foreign investors. This has had the effect of lowering the average tax rate, specifically in the year 2000, the average tax rate in corporate income tax was around 17%, while in 2023 the average tax rate in corporate income tax is 11%, or 6% lower. However, despite taking measures, the expected results have not been achieved. Privatization of public enterprises has been one of the main investments that these countries have attracted. The paper addresses the problems that have led to poor results and the inability of countries to convince investors for larger investments. In Kosovo, the issue of progress in this area is being overlooked by the government. It is important for Kosovo to recognize that neighboring countries are making significant progress, and therefore, it is critical to conduct research that not only highlights the current situation but also identifies potential solutions for the future.

Subject and Purpose. The present paper is concerned with sea wave diagnostics by signals from artificial satellites in a bistatic radar scheme using the grazing radio-wave propagation and a diffuse component of the signal reflected off the sea surface. The possibility is considered to expand the range of sea state diagnostics by using satellite emissions in different frequency regions. Methods and Methodology. The research is based on the data of field experiments using over-the-horizon navigation satellites of the first (Transit) and second (GPS) generations. The data processing is by the methods of moving average and moving mean square deviation adopted because of the dynamic character of the experiments given the moving source presence. The sea surface state in a particular experiment is estimated by the diffuse component extracted from the total experimental signal. A comparative analysis of the diffuse component parameters is carried out by computer modeling at various wavelengths, source elevation angles and root- mean-squared wave heights. Results. For both satellite systems GPS and Transit, the experimental results show that in the calm and moderate states of the sea surface, the diffuse component intensity of signal fluctuations caused by sea waves differ significantly and fit in with the model upon the Rayleigh Roughness Criterion. On this basis, an advantage can be taken from the satellite emissions in various frequency ranges to expand the scale of sea state diagnostics. The higher-frequency region therewith offers a more accurate yet more limited scale of the sea state measured. The addition of lower-frequency emissions expands the scale of sea state diagnostics towards the severe states. Conclusions. It has been determined that the range of sea state diagnostics can be expanded by using satellite emissions in different frequency regions.

Subject and Purpose. In this paper, an algorithm is developed to improve the spectrum image resolution in the atomic emission spectrum registration using multi-element detectors and taking multiple exposures with image shifting by a fractional part of a pixel. Methods and Methodology. Mathematical modeling techniques are employed in the coordinate representation dictated by the prior information. The modeling results are checked by experiment. Results. The importance of the resolution value of spectral image registration systems and its impact on the quality of the obtained results have been highlighted. The spectral informativeness of the regularly (matrix- or linearly) structured multi-element detectors has been evaluated against the irregular-structure sensors, such as photographic emulsions. As it has been found that the process of pixel size reduction is demanding, an alternative approach through subpixel image shifting has been proposed. Unlike the case of the corresponding instruments implemented as a rule in the frequency domain, here the relevant theoretical problem reduces to the over- determined system of linear equations. The proposed solution algorithm employs the least squares method having regard to the prior data specificity posed by the isolation of the spectral lines and a smooth flow of the background between them. The digital simulation results and the real experimental evidence from the atomic emission spectral analysis have been presented, illustrating the algorithm operation. The experimental research was carried out for one-dimensional spectrum images registered with linear charge-coupling photodetectors. The so gained resolution was twice the spatial resolution of the photodetector. Conclusions. It has been demonstrated that controlled image shifting not only improves the photometry accuracy but also significantly enhances the detector resolution. The general comparisons of the theory with the experiment have proved the feasibility of bringing the proposed methodology into atomic emission analysis.

During the period of the pandemic and martial law, Ukraine has lost a significant part of its human capital: assessing these losses and developing proposals for their restoration is especially relevant in the context of the need to restore Ukraine’s economy in the post-war period. The purpose of the article was to study and systematize the causes of human capital losses and their structure, to determine the impact of learning losses on the formation of human capital, as well as to summarize proposals for compensation for learning losses and restoration of human capital. As a result of the analysis of the scientific works, a number of factors have been identified that affect the level of learning losses and learning gaps due to quarantine restrictions in various countries of the world, namely, Germany, Spain, Belgium, China. The systematization of information made it possible to group the factors that affect learning losses in Ukraine, with the allocation of groups of factors that are due to the restriction of opportunities to attend educational institutions, and groups of factors that have arisen as a result of hostilities in Ukraine. The paper substantiates the existence of regional differences in the occurrence of learning losses and their impact on the formation of human capital. The clustering of regions has been carried out on the basis of losses of entrants in educational institutions and the region’s contribution to the creation of the gross domestic product of Ukraine. The results of the clustering made it possible to determine the priority directions for the restoration of human capital. Based on the research results, measures to eliminate learning losses and learning gaps for educational institutions of various levels are proposed, which can be applied in practice in the post-war reconstruction of the country’s economy

The paper studies packing polygons of variable shapes, regarding the stretching coefficient, in a rectangular target domain of minimum height. Packing objects of a variable shape have a wide spectrum of applications, e.g, in biology, materials science, mechanics, land allocation, and logistics. Interest in these problems is also due to the modeling of the structures of porous media under pressure, e.g., for creating test models of artificial digital cores. Elements of porous media can be deformed under the influence of an external force, but the mass of each particle remains unchanged. This corresponds to conservation of area for the two-dimensional case. Polygonal objects must be completely contained within the target domain (containment constraint) and do not overlap (non-overlapping constraint), provided they have free translations, continuous rotations, stretch transformations, and conserve their area. The phi-function technique is used for an analytical description of the placement constraints for variable shape polygons. Quasi-phi-functions for describing non-overlapping constraints and phi-functions for describing containment constraints are defined. The packing problem is presented in the form of a nonlinear programming model. A solution strategy is proposed, which consists of the following stages: generation of feasible starting points; search for local minima of the problem of packing soft polygons for each starting point using the decomposition algorithm; choosing the best local minimum found at the previous stage. To search for smart starting arrangements, an optimization algorithm for packing original polygons using their homothetic transformations is applied. Decomposition of the problem of packing polygons of variable shapes is based on an iterative procedure that allows reducing a large-scale problem to a sequence of smaller nonlinear programming problems (linear to the number of objects). Numerical examples are provided for oriented rectangles and non-oriented regular polygons.

Introduction. When making decisions under uncertainty, Savage's criterion is sometimes used, or the criterion of minimizing regrets [1]. Usually, in the literature, this decision situation is described in matrix language. In other words, both the number of decision alternatives and the number of states of nature are finite. Of particular interest are situations where the admissible domain of decision variants is a convex set, and the regrets with respect to each state of nature are expressed by convex functions. In this paper, we propose numerical methods for minimizing Savage's regret function, constructed based on the subgradient projection method with automatic step size adjustment [2, 3]. The convergence of these methods is demonstrated. Goal. In the article, the Savage function is defined as a function that expresses the maximum regret value, assumed to be a convex function with respect to the decision factors. This function measures the effectiveness of each decision relative to the set of states of nature. It is important to note that computing the values of these functions is complex because of the need to know the optimal solution for each state of nature. This difficulty is successfully overcome in the process of solving the problem of minimizing functions on convex sets, thanks to parallel solutions of m "internal" algorithms based on the number of states of nature, and one external algorithm, aimed at minimizing the Savage function. Each of the m+1 algorithms represent modifications of the subgradient projection method with a programmable way of adjusting the step size. Depending on the complexity of the constraints and the required precision, three theorems have been proven, confirming the convergence of the investigated methods. Results obtained. Constructive numerical algorithms have been developed for determining optimal decision alternatives under uncertainty, when the number of states of nature is finite, the admissible domain of control factors is convex and compact, and the Savage regret function serves as a decision criterion. The convergence of the corresponding algorithms to the set of optimal solutions has been proven, without knowing the exact values of the Savage function. Instead, estimates obtained from parallel runs of algorithms were used, aimed at determining optimal solutions for each state of nature. Conclusions. Uncertainty poses significant difficulties in designing and making decisions. Any decision made under uncertainty represents a certain risk or a certain regret. In cases where the number of states of nature is finite, the decision domain is convex, the target function with respect to each state of nature is convex, and the Savage regret function is adopted as the decision criterion, the decision-making problem can be successfully solved using numerical algorithms based on the generalized gradient method. The implementation of the algorithm is relatively simple, and the fields of application can be very diverse.

Introduction. Function approximation (approximation or restoration) is widely used in data analysis, model building, and forecasting. The goal of function approximation is to find the function that best approximates the original function. This can be useful when the original function is too complex to analyze or when a model needs to be simplified for more efficient computation or interpretation. Function approximation is an important tool in science, engineering, economics, and other fields where data analysis and modeling are required. It allows you to simplify complex functions, identify patterns in the behavior of the object of study, and predict the value of a function beyond the available data. The purpose of the paper is consider the problems of approximation of a function, which on some interval is given by its values in some set of nodal points and belongs to some class of functions by trigonometric Fourier series with a given accuracy and at fulfillment of given constraints on its execution time. The main attention is paid to obtaining estimates of computational complexity (implementation time) and solving the problem of function approximation by Fourier series with a given or maximum possible accuracy using efficient algorithms for solving optimization problems. Results. The general formulation of the problem of approximation of functions by Fourier series in accordance with the technology of solving problems of computational and applied mathematics with specified values of quality characteristics is presented. Estimates of the error of the proposed approximation algorithms using for the computation of Fourier coefficients the optimal in accuracy and close to them quadrature formulas for the computation of integrals from rapidly oscillating functions of the classes of Helder and Lipschitz with given fixed values in the nodes of a fixed grid are given. The corresponding quadrature formulas and constructive estimates of the error of the method of approximation of functions of the specified classes are given. Estimates of computational complexity of the given algorithms are obtained, which allow us to set real constraints on the time of algorithm implementation with a given or maximum possible accuracy. Conclusions. A comprehensive analysis of the quality of the considered algorithms for the approximation of functions by Fourier series using the accuracy-optimal (or close to them) quadrature formulas for the computation of Fourier coefficients for the computation of integrals from rapidly oscillating functions is presented. The estimates of their main characteristics – accuracy and computational complexity – are obtained.

In the modern world, mortgage plays an important role in the life of the citizens of the country due to its important role in providing their housing needs. Thus, it is important to find the most effective model of mortgage lending for the country to maximize the living standards of its citizens. The aim of the work is to choose the most effective model of mortgage lending that can be used in the country and bring the greatest benefit to it. The main methods used in the research were analysis, deduction, induction, and abstraction. The paper examined various aspects of mortgage lending, focusing on the different payment models and their implications for borrowers. Two types of mortgage loans were considered: with annuity and differentiated payments, their main differences in terms of payment rates were described, and mathematical formulae for their calculation were specified. To illustrate the impact on the borrower of each of them, a theoretical example was provided, on the basis of which the differences between the two systems were described. The paper also describes three models for organizing mortgage lending systems: a closed (stand-alone) mortgage system, a truncated open model and an extended open model. The suitability of these models for the development of the Kyrgyz mortgage market was assessed based on their characteristics and features, positive and negative components. The work brings new knowledge in the context of studying the peculiarities of mortgage lending as a whole, as well as allows finding opportunities for improving its functioning in the Kyrgyz Republic

The relevance of the study is conditioned by the dynamic development of the freelance market and the prospects for cooperation between freelancers and corporations, considering the specifics of taxation of such labour relations. The paper examines the essence of the concepts of “freelancer” and “freelance exchange” and substantiates the reasons for the establishment and popularisation of freelancing in modern conditions. The freelance markets of the countries of the Balkan Peninsula and Ukraine were analysed in terms of supply and demand, the number of vacant projects, the cost that the customer is willing to pay for the completed project. The purpose of this study is to analyse the actual performance indicators of existing freelance exchanges and assess the prospects for cooperation between corporations and freelance employees in the context of the possibility of optimising the taxation of legal entities. The methodological basis of the study was the use of system analysis in evaluating the results of freelance exchanges and attracting and cooperating with corporate clients, theoretical data on further prospects for using online labour exchanges by enterprises to attract the contractor of project work were highlighted. The advantages and disadvantages of cooperation in the customer-contractor field on the online labour exchange in the context of financial aspects are summarised. The relevance of the further study of the development processes of freelance exchanges, due to their growing popularity among employers, is substantiated. The study results and the conclusions formulated on their basis are of significant importance for the management level of companies, since based on the conducted research and already existing analytical information, the effectiveness of attracting freelance employees through freelance exchanges, the possibility of reducing the company’s labour costs and optimising the tax burden in terms of paying taxes for an employee has been confirmed

The relevance of this study is determined by the need to identify the consequences of the war for the economy and the prospects for the development of military-economic relations between Ukraine and other countries. The purpose of this study was to investigate the dynamics of the volume and structure of Ukraine’s foreign economic relations during the wartime period and to outline future ways of expanding Ukraine’s foreign activities. To fulfil this purpose, the following methods were used: statistical data analysis; comparison; graphical; and data generalisation. The main results obtained in this paper include the identification of the dynamics of volumes and goods that occupy a considerable part of Ukraine’s exports and imports after the beginning of the Russian invasion in 2014; analysis of the geographical structure of foreign trade and trends in trade with the European Union in 2013-2022; assessment of the commodity and geographical structure of exports and transfers of defence goods from Ukraine in 2014-2021; determining Ukraine’s share in the total volume of exports and imports of defence-related items, the main consumers of exported products, and tracking changes in this share over 2018-2022 compared to 2013-2017; analysis of defence imports in the first half of 2023; substantiation of the proposal to develop the production of defence items, namely drones and long-range missiles, which can be used both to increase the protection of Ukraine’s territory and to strengthen the country’s position in the international market for the export of weapons and equipment during and after the war. The results and conclusions are of practical importance for the Government of Ukraine in developing areas for the development of the country’s defence sector and military-economic relations with other countries
