This article looks at the role of formal grammatical analysis in the writings of Moses ibn Chiquitilla; tracing the adoption of triliteralism among grammarians in Iberia. One of the enduring difficulties of recounting a history of the major developments in the study of Hebrew grammar is the patchwork nature of the material available. With the availability of the Firkovitch collection at the Russian National Library (RNL), source material from the 11th-century grammarian, translator, and exegete, Moses ibn Chiquitilla, is now available. Of what little survives of Ibn Chiquitilla’s writings, a large portion of his biblical commentary on Psalms is preserved in one manuscript, Evr-Arab. I 3583 alongside smaller portions belonging to other libraries. In this article, I trace the development of debates among grammarians as portrayed in the writings of Ibn Chiquitilla. I reach the conclusion that among the circles of grammarians in Saragossa in the 11th and 12th centuries, Ibn Chiquitilla tends towards the opinions of Judah Ḥayyūj, accepting the theoretical underpinnings of his system of grammar. O objetivo desta pesquisa é determinar a adequação ou não da coleção de livros das bibliotecas da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) para os alunos do curso de doutorado em Administração. A metodologia verifica a correlação existente entre os livros citados nas teses de 1999 até 2007 e o acervo disponível nas bibliotecas. A investigação conclui que a coleção de livros nacionais apresenta-se adequada às demandas informacionais dos usuários estudados, mas a coleção de livros estrangeiros não.The aim of this research is to determine the appropriateness of the books collection in the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul libraries to PhD students in Management and Business. The method finds correlation between books cited in the PhD thesis from 1999 to 2007, and the book collection available in the libraries. The research concludes that the books collection edited in Portuguese language is according to informational demands of the PhD students, but the books collection in others languages are not.

The eastern Antioquia region of Colombia's central mountain range, is characterize by steep altitudinal gradients and rich hydrological resources, with the majority of the drainage flowing into the middle Magdalena River. To compile a taxonomic list of the fish of eastern Antioquia, three sources of information were used: i) the revision of unpublished literature available in regional libraries, ii) revision icthyological collections with vouchers of the region, and iii) specific field work in unstudied aquatic systems. A total of 103 species belonging to eight orders and 25 families were found. The majority of the species found belonged to the families Characidae, Astroblepidae, Loricariidae and Trichomycteridae. Of the species collected, 32 are new records for the region and four are apparently new to science. Eight exotics species are introduced, now established in natural systems. With this study the total for the region increased considerably above the 49 species that had been previously reported in literature, much of which is from the 1980's. It is important to increase collecting efforts in the eastern Antioquia region, due to the underestimation of it's fish biodiversity.
