Physical activity by its complexity not only affects the child's motor skills and life functions, but also teaches discipline, teamwork and develops self-esteem in society. The choice of physical activities depends on the physical and mental condition of the child, which are a source of positive experience which has a positive impact on every aspect of his or her life. The purpose: The aim of the study was to analyze factors influencing the psychomotor development of children with physical disabilities. The following research questions were raised: 1. What is the impact of sport on psychomotor development physically disabled child? 2. Are there any forms of financing to support the development of sports for children with physical disabilities? 3. What is the availability of sports facilities for children with physical disabilities (the architectural barriers)? By its’ versatility sport allows disabled child to accept their disability, teaches how to deal with it, how to overcome difficulties and how to improve mental condition through the action of the group. Physical activity promotes networking and overcoming their own weaknesses, which supports the process of comprehensive rehabilitation. The purpose of this paper was to determine the level of physical activity and healthy nutrition in children aged 3-6 years from Mitrovica. The research was attended by 94 children aged 3 - 6 years from two kindergartens in Mitrovica. As a parameter that measured the weight and height of the children, it was calculated with the standardized procedure of Body Mass Index (BMI) then was calculated according to the standard formula used by (Betterhealth, 2016). Also, after extracting other information through the questionnaire, a quantitative research was conducted through the parents of 94 children who were part of the measurements. A questionnaire was used to collect the data, which was previously translated and adapted into Albanian with permission to use it. The questionnaire was combined by three different questionnaires such as: the lifestyle questionnaire (Wilson et al., 2008), the physical activity questionnaire Pre-PAQ test (Dwyer et al., 2011) and the nutrition questionnaire (Rysha et al., 2017). The data collected during the research were placed in the statistical program SPSS version 21.0, and the presentation of this data was done through a descriptive analysis. The results that came from this research showed that the effect of physical activity, lifestyle and nutrition have quite a high impact on body mass index in children. From the results we saw that the children of the two kindergartens from the municipality of Mitrovica did quite well in terms of physical activity, where in the questionnaires that were answered 89.4% of children were active more than an hour a day by walking and doing other activities. Also, the results regarding the questions in which they were asked about the time that children use the phone were at a satisfactory level, where a large percentage of parents, 77.7%, declared that their children did not use the phone more than an hour a day. While in terms of nutrition, there have been many results which need more detailed analysis and to take preventive measures such as consumption of energy drinks, carbonated beverages, fast food, etc. From the measurement of children aged 3-4 years only one child turned out to be overweight with BMI = 18.7, while the rest came out with BMI with normal limits. As for children aged 4-5 years, one child turned out to be underweight with BMI = 12.4 and one obese with BMI = 21.9 and the others with BMI with normal limits. And out of children aged 5-6 years one child came out overweight with BMI = 17.7 and two others obese, one with BMI = 19.7 and the other BMI = 19.8 and the other children had normal weight (Betterhealth, 2016).

BACKGROUND: Despite the fact that the number of antiepileptic drugs is constantly increasing, epilepsy can still be a therapeutic challenge. Approximately one-third of patients with epilepsy have persistent seizures refractory to treatment. The limited number of effective alternatives motivates researchers to seek new solutions. There is some hope for cannabidiol (CBD) preparations.AIM OF THE STUDY: The purpose of this study was to review the most recent available literature on the use of cannabidiol in the treatment of refractory epilepsy in children and adults. For this purpose, the PubMed and Google Scholar databases were reviewed. The phrase "cannabidiol and epilepsy" was used to search the database. After Screening titles and abstracts a total of 19 papers and articles cited in them were received and analyzed in detail. RESULTS: Nowadays there are many CBD related products available in the market, Cannabis sativa and Cannabis indica are the plants used due to their strong therapeutic effects and also seizure control. Regulations regarding the use of raw marijuana, cannabis extracts, and cannabinoid-based drugs vary from place to place. Many studies have been generated on the efficacy of cannabinoid therapy in the treatment of epilepsy. This therapy in patients with Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gaust syndrome results in a reduction in the frequency of motor and total seizures. The most commonly reported side effects of CBD are drowsiness, seizures and diarrhea, but the therapy is generally well tolerated.SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS: Many available studies support the efficacy of CBD as a treatment option to reduce seizure frequency in children with drug-resistant epilepsy, particularly in patients with Dravet and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. However, there is a lack of reports on the use of CBD in the adult population, which may be an area for further research.

Childhood obesity and overweight have a wide impact on physical and mental health, and affect adulthood. In the last decade, scientists have been looking with concern at the increasingly frequent excess body weight in children and adolescents. Therefore, it is crucial to estimate the scale of the problem, and thus to correctly assess the level of adipose tissue. In assessing the nutritional status of the young, anthropometric measurements and indicators are used. Despite the widespread use of BMI (body mass index), this indicator is often criticized. BMI is frequently recognized as an imprecise tool and its use often results in misleading classification. Therefore, the aim of this study is to present selected, non-invasive anthropometric indicators related to overweight/obesity in children.Anthropometric indicators are relatively simple tools used in public health. However, the search for a simple and useful indicator is still ongoing, which will enable the assessment of the nutritional status both in clinical practice and in population studies. The paper presents the most frequently described anthropometric indicators in the literature: body mass index (BMI) and BMIz score, relative fat mass pediatric (RFMp), tri-ponderal mass index (TMI), pediatric body adiposity fat index (BAIp) and the mid-upper arm circumference (MUCA). The possibilities of application and their effectiveness for the estimation of adipose tissue content and the risk of coexisting diseases are presented.Although there is no consensus on the best tool, it is known that BMI will remain the main parameter in assessing nutritional status. Nevertheless, the authors suggest the usefulness of tools such as RFMp, TMI and MUAC as a good complement to the imperfections ascribed to BMI.

One of the key roles in maintaining the body's homeostasis is played by insulin. The presence of insulin receptors in almost all cells of the body reflects the importance of this hormone. Insulin resistance is a state of impaired glucose homeostasis resulting from a decreased sensitivity of peripheral tissues to insulin, despite normal or elevated serum levels. The purpose of this paper is to present the current state of knowledge on the pathogenesis, risk factors, and diagnosis of insulin resistance at developmental age.

Introduction and purpose of work. The correct body posture and its evaluation in children of all ages is of great importance. Special attention should be paid to two critical periods, when the posture may deteriorate significantly. Monitoring the body posture makes it possible to detect any abnormalities at an early stage that may subsequently lead to other health problems. The aim of the paper was to analize the connections between the body posture parameters and the selected parameters of the dynamic foot examination. Material and methods. 106 children at the age of 10-15 years old from schools located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship took part in the study. The posture of children assessed with the use of the Diers system is analyzed using a three-dimensional light-optical system. The next stage of the research was to conduct the dynamic foot analysis on the FreeMed platform. Results. No dependence between the majority of the studied body posture parameters and the parameters of the dynamic analysis was found. A statistically significant dependence was observed between: the right foot surface and the pelvic tilt, the right foot surface and the rotation surface, the number of steps per minute and the pelvic tilt, the contact time of the right foot surface and the pelvic tilt. When the pelvic tilt was standard, the authors observed a smaller surface while loading the right foot, a greater number of steps, and a shorter right foot contact time. The standard surface rotation affected the larger foot surface in the dynamic analysis. Conclusion. The study needs to be continued and extended in order to verify if there are any dependencies between the body posture parameters and the selected parameters of the dynamic analysis of the foot and gait pressure in children.

Psychomotor hyperactivity syndrome with attention deficit disorders is a neurodevelopmental disorder, which is manifested by excessive mobility and impulsivity preventing normal functioning in society. This leads to deconcentration during the basic activities of everyday life. The first symptoms of the disease may appear in the early pre-school period of childhood, but they may not be sufficiently noticeable yet. The severity of symptoms may depend on the situation and may evolve with the age of the child. The etiology of the disease is not clear, which makes it elusive to identify the cause. However, we know that ADHD affects three times more boys than girls. There is a concept that statistics on increased male morbidity may be due to inheritance, as the female sex is the carrier of the gene responsible for the occurrence of hyperactivity. The aim of this paper is to describe the characteristics of hyperkinetic disorder, including symptoms, etiology and some forms of treatment.

In the practice of a gastroenterologist, diseases that are accompanied by a clinic of acetone syndrome are of particular relevance. The study involved 38 children with acetonemic syndrome on the background of gastroenterological pathology. Two clinical groups of observations were formed: І group included 25 children with moderate ketosis, ІІ group - 13 children with severe ketosis. The paper presents comparative analysis of results of clinical and anamnestic examination of children depending on the severity of the course of pathology. Patients with less pronounced signs of acetonemic syndrome were characterized by higher occurrence of acetonemia per year, longer period of breastfeeding, more frequently compromised individual allergic anamnesis. Patients with severe acetonemic syndrome differed by higher infectious index, a tendency to bigger body mass indices, association with exacerbated gastroduodenal pathology.

Road traffic accidents and falls are the cause of over 80% of serious injuries in children. However, injuries resulting in road accidents are the leading cause of children’s death, more common than cancer and birth defects. The paper presents ways to reduce the risk of children in traffic. Various technical improvements were pointed out that could improve the safety of children. It highlighted the important role of parents and children tutors in education on road safety. It was found that injury prevention should be a systematic and organized action. This should include both the elimination of threats and actions to reduce the risk and improve the in-hospital and pre-hospital care.

ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM OF ORAL CAVITY IN CHILDREN WITH INFLAMMATORY DISEASES ORAL MUCOSA AND ACUTE FORMS OF LEUKEMIA UNDER THE TREATMENT I. V. Kovach, J. V. Khotimskаy State Enterprise «Dnepropetrovsk Medical Academy under Ukrainian Ministry of Health» khotimskaya@ukr.net Summary The children with inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa on the background of acute leukemia develop antioxidant system pronounced changes, e.g. the level of its enzymatic and non-enzymatic components reduces. This increases oxidative homeostasis disorders and decreases catalase’s activity. We have developed treatment-and-prophylactic complex containing quercetin mucosal gel and gel with a large number of polyphenols, flavonols, anthocyanins and catechins ("Vinaceous"), and dentilave "Lysomucoid", mixture of sanguinarine alkaloids disulfate and chelerythrine, anti-fungal and probiotic preparations. This complex has a pronounced stimulatory effect on the state of the antioxidant system, which largely determines the general condition of organs and tissues of the oral cavity. At the same time the developed therapeutic and preventive complex provides a consistently high level of functional activity of the antioxidant system in children with inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa on the background of acute forms of leukemia in a year after treatment. The objective: to determine the activity of catalase in children with inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa on the background of the acute form of leukemia in the dynamics of treatment. Materials and methods. 126 children aged 2-18 y.o. with acute lymphoblastic leukemia have been examined. All the children underwent clinical trials and then basic group and group of comparison was formed. In both groups the plaques were removed, full mouth debridement was made and systematically healthful procedures were done. Oral cavity hygiene was performed with the use of alcohol-free anti-inflammatory dentilave "Lysomucoid". The main group children additionally to oral hygiene used the developed therapeutic and prophylactic complexes. Results and Conclusions. The application of the developed therapeutic and prophylactic complexes, professional oral cavity hygiene and subsequent treatment applications had a pronounced stimulating effect at the state of the antioxidant system, which depends greatly on the state of periodontal tissues and oral mucosa. The therapeutical method worked out provides high level of functional activity of the antioxidant system in all groups. This is especially important for acute leukemia children. Key words: leukemia, children, oral mucosa, antioxidant system, catalase.

Purpose. The main aim of the paper is analysis connection between hamstrings contracture and fault posture. Methods. Examination covered a group of 40 children aged 4-6 from nonpublic kindergarten “Buziaczek” in Bydgoszcz. The study was divided into two parts. The first part included: evaluation of child’s figure, analysis of specified anthropometric points and identification of posture defects in particular areas of child’s body. The second part of study involved tests: "the end of the toe" and "fingers-floor" and measurement of hip joint’s range of mobility. Results. Executed tests shown that 47,5% from examined group of children have fault posture. Occurrence of hamstrings contracture, which was diagnosed in 40%, disrupts pelvis balance causing oblique position of pelvis. Conclusion. 1. Posture faults are major problem in our population. During examination near half of the group possessed at least one of the fault posture. 2. Hamstrings contracture disrupts pelvis balance causing oblique position of pelvis. Further it leads to increase frequency of fault posture. 3. Proper rehabilitation can prevent hamstring contracture, in advance prevents also occurrence of fault posture. 4. Rehabilitation study, in which analysis of specified anthropometric points and a few functional tests will be a component, can detect and correct diagnose fault posture among children.

Summary Nebulization is a therapeutic treatment which consists in loading the drug to the respiratory tract as an aerosol for local and systemic effects. Today in respiratory medicine nebulization is increasingly used as a non-aggressive method for the rapid delivery of the drug in any region of the affected airways. This method does not require the coordination of the patient any contribution of respiratory function of stress in the inspiration phase and is therefore widely used in pediatrics. The aim of the article is to present the proper techniques of nebulization. Lack of knowledge regarding nebulization techniques among both parents and medical personnel leads to errors that affect the therapeutic process. Widely understood development of medical science enforces continuous education not only health care workers, but as well patients and their careers. Medication administration using aerosol therapy is complex and absolutely requires close cooperation between the child, parents and device based on detailed knowledge of the proper techniques of surgery. Buglova Department of Pediatrics No 2, National Pirogov Memorial Medical University Vinnitsya, Ukraine Abstract Background .Diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract in children occupy a leading place in the structure of gastroenterological diseases, including the duodenal ulcer, which is the actual problem of modern medicine throughout the world, characterized by the progressive growth. Establishing the role of H. pylori in the mechanisms of a number of diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tract changed the approach to the problem of this disease. An important role in the development of infectious-inflammatory process induced by H. pylori play TLR4, having reactivity to lipopolysaccharide of Gram-negative bacteria. Much attention is being paid to determine the effect of H. pylori in the regeneration damaged of duodenal mucosa, which by means of growth factors, such as epidermal growth factor(EGF). EGF - a universal endogenous regulator of cell renewal, which accelerates migration and proliferation of the epithelium, enhances angiogenesis. The aim of our study was to evaluate the results of complex treatment in children with duodenal ulcer according to the dynamics of TLR4 and EGF in blood serum. Materials and methods. The overall clinical group consisted of 54 children with duodenal ulcer aged 7-18 years. The control group consisted of 25 healthy children of similar age. The average age of patients was 13,3 ± 0,2 years. The study used clinical, laboratory and instrumental methods of examination used. The content of TLR 4 and EGF in serum were determined by ELISA. Results and discussion. Children who were under supervision, were allocated based on the severity of the disease and the presence of H. pylori infection. Among the patients H. pylori (+) duodenal ulcer had 40 (74.07%) children - 14 (25.93%) patients had no H. pylori infection. Severe degree of disease was observed in 16 (29.63%) children, 38 (70.37%) of the children had moderate course of duodenal ulcer. In patients with severe course of duodenal ulcer was observed the reduction of EGF and TLR4 ( 27.95%,19,65%) values before treatment, but the figure was higher (47.11%) and ( 2,75 times) than in the group of healthy children. In children with moderate duodenal ulcer the level of EGF and TLR4 after treatment was lower (by 23,24%) and (1,30 times) indicators before treatment, but higher than in the control group ( 1,55 times) and ( 47,81%). It was revealed that in patients with H. pylori (+) duodenal ulcer after treatment were significant changes in the content EGF, TLR4 in serum, appearing in it’s decline (1,27 times) ,but exceeding the value of healthy children (1.76 times) and (1.98 times) (р

Naumenko Vinnitsa National Medical University Pirogov Resume. The article cited the results of a survey of 103 children with a diagnosis of rotavirus infection. Studied and analyzed the course of rotavirus infection depending on the established genotype polymorphism C > T in position 13910 gene lactase (LCT). Found that the most difficult course of infection is associated with genotypes, which are responsible for lactose intolerance C/C-13910 and C/T-13910. Introduction. Rotavirus infection is the dominant etiologic factor in acute intestinal infections in children.Rotavirus protein NSP4 causes deficiency of the enzyme lactase-floryzynhidrolases, while a secondary lactase deficiency. There degree could vary from the minimum till severest. This is due primarily genetically determined lactase activity, as well as percentage in children with determined primary lactase deficiency. Primary lactase deficiency directly correlated with polymorphism C>T at position 13910 lactase gene (LCT). Polymorphism, located above the starting point of transcription, is in the regulatory region of the gene lactase. Genotype S/S-13910 is responsible for almost total absence of lactase. S/T-13910 genotype is associated with low levels of lactase, but it is sufficient for normal Digesting. Genotype T/T-13190 shows high activity of this enzyme. Work on the study of polymorphism C> T at position 13910 lactase gene (LCT) in children with acute intestinal infections in Ukraine were not conducted because the goal of our work is a detailed study of the clinical features of rotavirus infectionin children depending on the genetically determined enzyme activity, based on established genotypes. Materials and methods. The study was conducted at the Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Hospital of Infectious Diseases at the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases VNMU named by NI Pirogov. During the period from December 2012 to May 2016 under the supervision was 103 patients aged 1 to 4 years, with a diagnosis of rotavirus infection. The average age (M ± m) patients was 23,4 ± 1,46 months. To establish the etiological factor was performed bacteriological stool examination for detection of pathogenand conditionally pathogenic microflora and enzyme immunoassay stool indication of Rotavirus, Norovirus, Astrovirus and adenoviruses and Clostridium difficille tox A / B and Clostridium difficille GDH. We used test systems from R-Biopharm, Germany. In addition, we studied gene polymorphisms LCT-13910 by polymerase chain reaction with subsequent restriction analysis at the Institute of Hereditary Pathology, Medical Sciences, Lviv, Ukraine. In addition, we studied gene polymorphism at position 13910 LCT in 33 healthy children, residents of the city Vinnytsya and its region, representative by age and gender. In the population studied groups there were three possible options genotypes: homozygous for the C allele patients (CC), homozygous for the T allele person (TT), and children with heterozygous C and T allele (CT). Results of research. When analyzing polymorphism of gene LCT-13910, in children with rotavirus infection was dominant genotype C/C-13910 - in 55,3% of patients, the frequency of genotype C/T-13910 was 34,2%, and only in 10,5% children determined genotype C/C-13910. In more than half of the children surveyed (23 children) diagnosed monoinfection – 57,5%, in the other parts - mixed infection with opportunistic bacteria - 17 patients (42,5%). Genotype C/C-13910, which is associated with almost complete absence of lactase, found in 48 children of the main group, representing 46,6% heterozygote genotype C/T-13910. characterized to low, but sufficient for digestion, lactase activity was detected in 43 children (41,7%), and it is heterozygotes for the polymorphism C>T in position 13910 lactase gene (LCT) are most likely to develop secondary lactoseinsufficiency. In 12 children (11,6%) was established genotype T/T-13910 homozygotes - carriers of this genotype have the highest activity of the lactase. In healthy children genotype frequencies are: genotype C/C-13910 was installed in 66,7% of children, the fate of the genotype C/T-13910 accounted 30%, and only 3,33% of the children in the control group had genotype T/T -13910. Thus, the vast number of examined children has been a genetically determined reduction in lactase activity, which in turn contributes to the peculiarities of course they RVI. One of the prominent symptoms of RVI is hyperthermia. After analyzing temperature response in children with different genotypes LCT gene found that the overwhelming number of children surveyed had a slight fever, but in children with genotypes responsible for lactase deficiency noted the increasingly febrile fever. The average duration of fever was significantly longer (p

The role of controlled dosage physical exercise in the treatment of owerweight children with asthma V.I. Velychko, Y.I. Venger, Y.I. Bazhora, Y.O. Pichugina Odessa State Medical University Abstract. The study includes 115 children aged 6 to 11 years with exogenous asthma of varying severity, with different levels of control. Children with asthma were divided into two groups according to the level of physical development: I group (60 children) with harmonic physical development and II group (55 children) overweight. It was found that overweight children who have overweight greater than (4,2 ± 0,3) there are patients with severe bronchial asthma and higher than (2,5 ± 0,2) there are children with the uncontrolled progress of the disease in comparison with a group of patients with a harmonious physical development. There were recommendations on physical exercise for overweight children of 6-11 years with moderate asthma depending on the degree of control of asthma during the major periods of rehabilitation. It is shown that the efficacy of integrated application of dosed physical exercise and lipid-lowering diet with exception of carbohydrate is 1.7 times better in comparison with using only a standard diet in addition to the basic treatment of asthma. Key words: asthma, children, overweight, physical exercise.

Najwięcej dzieci po leczeniu onkologicznym hospitalizowanych w omawianym ośrodku pochodziło z województw: pomorskiego, dolnośląskiego i lubelskiego, najmniej zaś z województw: podlaskiego, lubuskiego i warmińsko – mazurskiego. Najczęstszą przyczyną hospitalizacji pacjentów były zachorowania na nowotwory złośliwe układu krwiotwórczego. Wnioski: Pacjenci po leczeniu onkologicznym stanowią nieliczną grupę dzieci hospitalizowanych w analizowanym ośrodku. Najwięcej dzieci hospitalizowanych w Szpitalu Orlik pochodzi z wiodących ośrodków hematoonkologicznych w Polsce. Najmniej liczne grupy pacjentów pochodziły z najmniejszych województw położonych najdalej od ośrodka uzdrowiskowego. Summary Introduction: There is about 1200 new pediatric patients diagnosed with malignacies every year in Poland. Many of them requires a multi-stage, long-term and systematic rehabilitation after finished anti-cancer treatment. Specialized centers of physical and psychosocial rehabilitation take the main role in reducing the ate effects of anti-cancer treatment. There is only one rehabilitation center in Poland witch takes care of children with malignancies. Aim: The aim of this study was to analyze the health spa treatment of children after anti-cancer treatment on the example of Hematology Rehabilitation Hospital for Children "Orlik" in Kudowa Zdroj. Material and Methods: We studied a group of 3580 children and young adults (1865 girls and 1715 boys) aged 1 to 21 years (mean age 11,53 years, median 12 years) which were the patients in rehabilitation Hospital ,, Orlik" from 1 June 2007 to 31 May 2012. Results: In the analyzed period, in the Hospital "Orlik" children after anti-cancer treatment accounted for about 26% of all hospitalized patients. Most of children after oncological treatment came from the Pomerania, Lower Silesia and Lublin, least - from Podlaskie, Lubuskie and Warmia - Mazury. Most of children were suffering from hematologic malignancies. Conclusions: Patients after cancer treatment are a small group of children hospitalized in the reporting center. Most children hospitalized in the Hospital Orlik came from leading centers in Poland oncological.

Voloshyn Department of Pediatrics of Education-Research Instituteof Postgraduate training of the I.Ya. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University, Ternopil, Ukraine Abstract Given the importance of genetic factors in causing bronchial asthma (BA), should be noted that according to some researchers it stands on the importance of the role of adverse environmental factors and a lifestyle. Genetic factors contribute to human health by 40%, in the case of BA - in 60% of cases it is due to hereditary. Objective: to analyze the frequency of polymorphic loci associations rs 1042713 (Arg16Gly) of ADRβ2 gene in children with BA. Materials and Methods. In-depth clinical examination using the special methods of investigation, conducted to 62 children suffering from BA, older than 5 years. The results of investigation. As a result of depth collection of anamnesis, it was revealed that in 73,68% of patients the anamnesis was unburdened. Mostly the family inheritance depends on mother health (57,14%), regardless of the severity of BA. Іt was found that in both types of inheritance (paternal and maternal) dominated genotype Arg16Gly (respectively: 58,33% and 60,00%). However, genotype Arg16Arg was observed in individual patients and in the case of intermittent disease. In case of allergen-induced and virus-induced phenotypes the genotype Arg16Gly (respectively: 44,70%; 58,30%) was more often diagnosed. Among the examined patients, BA manifested at the early age in 18 children (33,96%) in preschool age in 17 children (32,08%), and in a primary school in 18 children (33,96%). The early debut of disease associated with genotype Arg16Gly manifested at the early age in 66,67% of children and in preschool age – in 58,82%, while late manifestation observed in children with genotype Gly16Gly. It was clarified that intermittent flow associated with two genotypes: Arg16Gly (47,37%) and Gly16Gly (42,11%) The persistent mild course of BA replied to genotype Gly16Gly (64,71%), but with moderate persistent - to Arg16Gly (57,69%). Found that girls often associated with asthma genotype Gly16Gly (56,52%) and Arg16Gly (39,13%) while the boys with genotype Arg16Gly (53,84%), less with Gly16Gly (38,89%). Conclusions. When treating the patient, the established differences in allele polymorphisms gene ADRβ2, regarding the age and gender, should be taken into account. Keywords: children, bronchial asthma, β2 – adrenoceptors, polymorphism of the gene.

DENTAL HEALTH STATE OF CHILDREN LIVING IN DIFFERENT ANTHROPOGENIC CONDITIONS Luchynskyі M. A. I. Y. Horbachevskyy Ternopil State Medical University of Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukraine, Ternopil (Ternopil, Maydan Voli, 1, 46001) Abstract The purpose of the work is to study dental health of children living in conditions of combined negative impact of natural and technological factors. Materials and methods. It was performed an epidemiological dental examination of 2,551 children aged 6 to 15 years, who settled in different regions of the Precarpathians, in conditions of iodine and fluoride deficiency (plain - 1087 children, foothills - 730 and mountain - 734 children). Results. Comprehensive epidemiological studies found low levels of dental health of children living in different geochemical and anthropogenic conditions of Ivano-Frankivsk region (48,83 ± 0,36)% in the general observation, that is not statistically different by regions examination, moreover girls level is lower, than that of boys in examined regions (48,14 ± 0,50) and (49,51 ± 0,52)%, respectively. It was founded, that the main diseases, which contribute to the reduction of dental health in children, is dental caries and its complications and abnormalities of dentoalveolar system. It was found, that the frequency and severity of dentoalveolar abnormalities depend on anthropogenic environmental conditions: in children of plain and foothill regions, that suffer from greater anthropogenic pressure, dentoalveolar abnormalities where found in (67,99 ± 1,42) and (65,21 ± 1,76)%, against (45,91 ± 1,84)% in children of conditionally pure mountain region. These same children also often recorded more severe pathology – combined anomalies (24,09 ± 1,57) and (22,06 ± 1,90)%, against (12,17 ± 1,78)%, respectively). It was found the connection between the dentoalveolar abnormalities and the presence of caries (r = + 0,95; p

A. Jurasza w Bydgoszczy Abstract Introduction The condition most frequently reported by children is abdominal pain, posing a substantial diagnostic problem. In paediatric population, acute pancreatitis occurs much less frequently than in adults. Aim of the study The aim of the study was to assess rate of acute pancreatitis in children accepted to hospital for abdominal pains. Material and methods The study was of a retrospective nature. 629 medical histories of children hospitalized in University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz for abdominal pains and/or acute pancreatitis were analyzed. Demographic data (sex, age, residence) and season of patients' admission were included in the study. Results The study reveals, that hospital admissions for abdominal pain more frequently regarded boys – 352 (55.96%) than girls – 277 (44.04%). Children of urban background formed 57.39% and those of rural background – 42.61%. In the studied group, acute pancreatitis concerned girls more frequently than boys (8.7% vs 3.7%). No statistical relationship was proven between the age and the acute pancreatitis occurrence. The average age of children with acute pancreatitis amounted to 11.02 years. Every third instance of acute pancreatitis was diagnosed in spring (32.4%), and every fifth (18.9%) in winter. Conclusions • An increase is observed in the number of children's hospital admissions for abdominal pains. Admissions for abdominal pains formed an average of one fifth of all admissions.. • A decrease in acute pancreatitis occurrence is observed in hospitalized children. • Acute pancreatitis occurred twice as often in girls than in boys. М. О. М.І. Vinnitsa National Medical University, Vinnytsya Abstract Background. Among children with congenital heart disease (CHD) undergoing cardiac surgery the incidence of heart failure (HF) is 61.4%. The main goal in myocardial dysfunction medication is to create conditions for adequate cardiac output (afterload) and a decrease in the volume filling chambers of the heart (preload). The study of metabolic reactions in the myocardium by pathological conditions increases the interest in drugs that are endogenous regulators of energy metabolism. The aim of our study was to evaluate the effectiveness of myocardial dysfunction pharmacological correction in children with congenital heart disease after surgical treatment. Materials and methods. We examined 184 child from the CHD, which was made radical correction of anatomical defects aged 1 month to 18 years (mean age 9,42 ± 3,43 years). CHD belonged to different hemodynamic types, namely 119 children (64,67 ± 3,52%) had a bug with the enrichment of the pulmonary circulation (EPC); 35 children (19,02 ± 2,89%) - with the depletion of the EPC and 30 children (16,00 ± 2,72%) - CHD depletion of systemic circulation. Children with every type CHD were divided into two groups, representative by age, sex, postoperative experience. In the study group in addition to the basic treatment of heart failure children receiving therapy with Ahvantar (oral 100 mg / kg per day, 30 days). All children performed echocardiography examination using tissue doplerohraifiyi to assess longitudinal wall motion of the left and right ventricles of the heart in different phases cycle. Results and discussion. Children with primary research group had significantly better clinical dynamics than those of the comparison group, namely for all types of BBC incidence of heart failure symptoms in children of the main group decreased in 2,14-5,00 times. Adding to the treatment regimen of L-carnitine in children of the main group was accompanied by improved contractile parameters of left ventricular performance and S`mshp S` microns to 16,17-35,91%, and the right amplitude TAPSE and S` maybe 17,31- 21.71%. Joining kardiometabolitnoyi therapy to the basic treatment of heart failure in children and the CHD core group of blood circulation in the IWC mainly improved diastolic function of the right ventricle in terms of E / E`tk to 17,88-31,64%, while the Air Force of the depletion reduced the systemic circulation values of E / E`mshp and E / E`mk to 23.80% and 47.41%, respectively, which significantly differed from those of the comparison group received after treatment. Conclusion. Correction of myocardial dysfunction in children with BBC after surgical correction requires a differentiated approach, depending on the type of hemodynamic disorders in a large and a small circle of blood circulation. Keywords: congenital heart defect, children, myocardial dysfunction, treatment. М. В. Хромих V.M. Dudnyk, K.V. М.І. Vinnitsa National Medical University Article Background. In recent years all over the world, including Ukraine, there is a tendency to increase the incidence of asthma children shift its start at an earlier age and heavier flow. Despite numerous studies on the pathogenesis of asthma has recently received considerable attention is the role of endothelial dysfunction in the mechanisms of control and capabilities of this disease. The aim of our study was to evaluate the effectiveness of pharmacological correction of endothelial dysfunction in children with allergic asthma. Materials and methods. We have examined 224 child with allergic asthma in acute disease aged 6 to 17 years (mean age 9,42 ± 3,43 years who were divided into two groups, representative by age, sex, severity and duration of disease, and duration and dose of ongoing basic anti-inflammatory therapy. In the study group (n = 45) was conducted correction of endothelial dysfunction "Tivortin aspartate" (orally, 5 ml (1 g) 3 times a day during meals, for 30 days). All children contents were determined in serum homocysteine and VEGF, and performed ultrasonography of the carotid and brachial arteries. Results and discussion. Control of asthma improved in the intervention group patients, resulting in a decrease in the number of children who have night and day symptoms, limited physical activity and the need for b2-agonists on short-acting (17.32 - 55.65)%, than in children with comparison group. After 4 weeks of treatment tivortinom homocysteine and VEGF in the study group patients was lower at 26.48% and 36.03%, respectively, than in children with asthma with the comparison group. Intima-media thickness carotid artery in the group of children who received a combination of IGC with tivortin decreased to 0,83 ± 0,02 mm, which is 14.43% lower than in patients who received standard therapy of asthma base. As regards the ultrasound brachial artery, they also decreased in the range (12.39 - 19.56) %, reflecting the success of the treatment. Conclusion. Сhildren with asthma need for pharmacological correction of endothelial dysfunction, allowing to have better control of this disease. Key words: bronchial asthma, children, endothelial dysfunction, treatment. Abstract Purpose - to assess the presence of endothelial dysfunction in children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura in terms of Doppler ultrasound. Material and methods. We examined 123 children with Henoch - Schonlein purpura from 1 to 18 years old. Assessment of functional status and vasoregulatory vascular endothelial function was performed using Doppler ultrasound using ultrasound scanner "Philips HDII XE" B-mode sensor linear format in the frequency range from 5 MHz to 15 MHz at rest. The Results. Using doppler ultrasound, we found that the endothelial dysfunction observed in all children with at Henoch - Schonlein purpura. In patients with maximum disease activity index of structural and functional state of the endothelium of the carotid and brachial arteries were 1.3 - 1.5 times more than in healthy children. Also, more severe violations of hemodynamic characteristics of blood flow in the brachial artery (speed reduction) were observed at the III degree of activity and accounted for - Vsp 34,59 ± 3,18 mm / sec, Ved 2,72 ± 0,57 mm / sec, S / D 10 15 ± 0,82. Keywords: Henoch - Schonlein purpura, children, endothelial dysfunction, Doppler ultrasound.
