The article discusses the history of man-animal relationships. Such relationships are examined using archeological findings. The focus of the article is to explore such findings and their sources that represent the animals' narrative. Records of the domestication of animals are addressed as well as the consequences the industrialization had for animals, and the ethical implications of writing animal history from man's point of view. Archeological discoveries are used to interpret status, treatment, and development of animals under mankind.
