The bachelor thesis focuses on living in an ethnically mixed family. The first chapter of the theoretical part defines the basic concepts such as human race, ethnicity, ethnicity, nation and nationality. The second chapter deals with inter-ethnic relations. The third chapter is devoted to the Roma ethnic group, where the origin of the Roma is described only after their work in the Czech Republic. In addition to history, this chapter also focuses on Roma demography, Roma distribution, their social typology and lifestyle. The empirical part was processed using a qualitative approach. Interview was used as a method of data collection. The results of the research tell us that there are certain differences in the coexistence of two partners of different ethnicities, especially in their characters, these partners also face more difficult acceptance from family members. Such a relationship requires a lot of patience, compromise and determination.

The diploma thesis named Wedding ceremonies in the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren aims to reflect the importance and development of wedding ceremonies in this church dating from its foundation in 1918 to the present. This thesis is based on the officially accepted liturgical forms and materials of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, namely on official agendas published in 1939, 1953 and 1983 and other published texts of this church. The thesis also explores the development of attitudes to mixed marriages from the perspective of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren and offers a comparison with the attitudes of the Catholic Church. The aim of the Master thesis was to introduce the looking for bilingual people (Czech and German people), who are living in the Czech-Bavaria border region. After discovery of bilingual people was very important record the life story of selected respondents in Bavaria and South Bohemia. Life stories of the respondents should include of the concept bilingualism. This thesis is based on the sociological methods, method of the oral history and monitoring life stories of people, who can be forgotten in the future.
