Doctor- patient relationship Abstract This rigorous thesis entitled Doctor-Patient Relationship is focused on the analysis of the most important duties of a doctor in relation to a patient in the provision of health services. The first part is devoted to the historical excursion focused on the development of the relationship between doctor and patient during history. This part of the thesis describes the evolution from the historically prevalent paternalistic conception of the doctor-patient relationship to the more partnership model we know today. Highlighted are the possible advantages and disadvantages of the partnership model with regard to the patients complain about the lack of personal approach to them by doctors. In the rigorous thesis, a substantial part is devoted to the analysis of the term lege artis not only within its legal definition, but especially with regard to capturing the meaning of the term lege artis as understood in the literature and especially in the current case law. Attention is paid especially to the problematic aspects of the definition of the term lege artis and determining whether a particular procedure was lege artis or not. Dva zajímavé astronomické úkazy (částečné zatmění Slunce 20. 3. 2015 a přechod Merkuru před Slunce 9. 5. 2016) poskytly příležitost uskutečnit pozorování pro žáky základní školy. Kromě přímého zážitku pro žáky umožnilo propagovat pozorování i v pedagogickém kolektivu a odhalilo některá neočekávaná úskalí. Výbornou motivaci pro pozornost astronomickým jevům žákům poskytuje Astronomické olympiáda. Two interesting astronomical phenomena (partial solar eclipse on 20. 3. 2015 and transit of Mercury on 9. 5. 2016) across the Sun offered an opportunity to carry up observations for all pupils from our school. Except of personal experience for pupils it allowed to promote observation to teachers and found even there some unexpected difficulties. Great motivation resulting in increased interest in observing astronomical phenomena is regular organization of Astronomical Olympiad.

Summary This diploma thesis titled "The comparison of the approaches of the European Court for Human Rights and the Supreme Court of the USA to some aspects of the freedom of expression" is focused mainly on comparison of both mentioned approaches to hate speech. After the opening chapter that set goals of this thesis and explains topicality of the topic and the reasons why I have chosen the topic, in second chapter the concern is focused mainly on a general introduction, historical outcome to the freedom of expression and its importance in Europe and in the USA. In the overview of European historical outcome the chapter is concerned with the thinkers as John Milton and John Stuart Mill among the others. In the historical outcome of the USA I put my interest mainly to the outcome before enacting the First amendment of the Constitution of the USA. In third chapter, that is fully concerned with analysis of the contemporary approach of both courts to hate speech, firstly I provide general analysis of the approach of ECHR that is linked to the specific analysis of the particular decisions of the ECHR. The aim of this thesis is to identify the prospects and the limits of the Czech cultural diplomacy in Sweden. On the one hand, it formulates particular recommendations on how to use present and newly emerging opportunities more effectively; on the other hand it tries to find a way to overcome its present limits. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the theoretical background of cultural diplomacy and current issues its actors, cultural institutes in particular, encounter. The second chapter seeks to answer what kind of an image the Czech Republic wants to promote abroad and what specific issues it faces in Sweden. The third chapter evaluates some of the Czech cultural diplomacy activities in Sweden by analysing selected programme areas. The fourth chapter offers a complex evaluation of the role of the Czech Centre in Stockholm and the organization as a whole.

This thesis focuses on the Theatresports as a general category of improvisational theatre. Theoretically analyses their structure in terms of theatre studies and interprets the principles of this specific approach to theatre production, deals with their history and development, also is trying to establish a suitable theoretical and conceptual apparatus for them. It also reflects the decade of work of Theatresports in the Czech Republic, summarizes their characteristics and places them in context with other selected speeches theatrical improvisation on the Czech scene. Liquid chromatography (LC) in tandem with mass spectrometry (MS) is a measurement tool for obtain information about the compounds in the investigated extracts. There were already developed methods for processing and analysis of measured data sets. However, only partial problems of processing/analysis task were handled independently. Therefore, the rst part describes existing methods and techniques commonly used in the LC-MS for the processing and analysis today. In this thesis an approach based on the theory of systems is used for description of abstract model above the measured data. This model encapsulated all processing/analysis steps into appropriate and consistent mathematical space. The creation of this model via description of the measurement device and data outputs is introduced. Abstract model of LC-MS data set is used to decompose the measurement into three partial contributions, the analyte signal, the random noise and the systemic noise. The separation process of the signal could be estimated using the probabilistic approach. That probabilistic approach to the LC-MS analysis was implemented in the developed software, which was published in the Bioinformatics Journal.

This thesis is about the bells as a culture artefacts. It is divided into four parts. The first part is historica1. It begins with the developement of the bells in the ancient times and continues through the period of the middle ages to the beginning of the bell founding as a craft. It continues with the developement of the bell founding in Bohemia to the present days. The second part treats the technique of the bell manufacturing. It also includes the brief technical description of the bell accessories. The third part treats the bell as a musical instrument and iť s sound. The last fourth part is about legends and stories concerning the bells. This work also mentions well known and famous bells in our country and abroad. The next subject is about orchestral bells which have a little tradition in Czech republic but in the other parts ofthe world is considered as a top ofthe bell founding. The research objective of this work is to show the bell as a multicultural artefact with iť s own history and to describe the bell founding as an original craft. It was very respectful in the past but nowadays it looses iť s importance. One possibility of the future developement in the world are orhcestral bells. Leť shope that this tendence will set up in our country.

The bachelor thesis titled "Changes in leisure activities caused by the pandemic Covid - 19" deals with the topic of the impact of the pandemic on activation in homes for the elderly. The thesis aims to identify and describe how the pandemic has affected the leisure activities of the elderly. The sub-objectives seek to determine which activities have succumbed to the changes and whether the needs of seniors have been met. Finally, the thesis examines whether new activities have been invented as part of the activation. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis starts with an introduction of the research already conducted and then includes an explanation of basic concepts. The methodological part serves to introduce the qualitative method of data collection, which is a semi-structured interview. The practical part is devoted to the actual research and tries to find answers to the predetermined questions and at the end of the thesis a discussion is presented. The food choices we make every day have a great impact on our environment. Particularly meat consumption significantly contributes to global climate change. Although the current situation calls for a change towards more sustainable diet, meat consumption is still rising. Previous research show that dynamic social norms, i.e. information about ongoing collective behavioral change, can promote pro- environmental behavior, even in the context of meat consumption. Through two pre- registered online experimental studies conducted on a sample of university students (Study 1, N = 227) and on a sample of adult Czech population (Study 2, N = 462), this thesis examines whether dynamic norm message regarding the changing trends in meat consumption can influence intentions to consume less meat. We did not find any direct or total effect of dynamic norms on the preference for meatless meals. Mediation analysis only revealed rather weak indirect effect of dynamic norms on the preference for meatless meals mediated by perceived dynamic norms. The main goals of my thesis is to provide closer look into issue of computer vision and its potential in quality management. The main reason for writing this thesis is to prove that there are simple methods of controling by computer vision, that even start-ups in production sector can afford. Hereafter I am compering two methods of controling. Firsty method of controling by computer vision and secondly method of controling by human eye. I am primarily focused on its cost of implementation and operation, its speed of controling units and measurement accuracy of each methods. For this purpose I use a practical simulation of control station in fictional production line to get real comparable resuts of both methods. To costruct successful simulation with relevant results it is essential to understad principles of the issue.

The Influence of Normative Factors on Environmentally Friendly Consumer Behavior As consumer behavior is a type of environmentally significant behavior, it plays a fundamental role in environmental concerns of our time. In the long-term, current consumption and production patterns are not sustainable. The goal of this thesis was to investigate the influence of descriptive social norms on environmentally friendly consumer behavior using a randomized experiment quantitative approach. Data was collected using online surveys. Experiment results show that providing information about the behavior of others has an impact on how we perceive descriptive norms and that a change in descriptive norms influences our environmentally significant behavior intentions. This was, however, only confirmed under the circumstances when respondents identified themselves with a reference group, which was a carrier of descriptive norms. Thus, this thesis broadens our knowledge of the impact of descriptive norms on environmentally friendly behavior, because it was previously assumed that descriptive norms are a significant factor only in situations with strictly defined reference groups. The master thesis explains the concept of marketing strategy of Jazz club Reduta and the improvisational group Improvariace. The theoretical part defines the marketing in general, marketing process and marketing mix focused on culture and the cultural product. This part of the thesis deals with the importance of marketing in culture and it describes the typology of audiences. Following the theory and the facts established in it, the practical part is set on monitoring a particular marketing strategy for improvisational group Improvariace and their performances in Jazz club Reduta. The goal is to critically evaluate their strategy and to propose improvements.

The Czech pension system will change substantially in the coming decades. Demographic changes will cause its financial instability while keeping its current parameters. Financial stability of the pension system can be reached through expenditure reduction and increase in revenues of the pension system. We can expect a real decline of the average pensions paid on the level of dozens of percentages in the coming decades. The decision between pay as you go and fund pension scheme is not affected by the demographic situation. The individuals should decrease their expenditures and ensure additional revenue in retirement to secure their standard of living. The family solidary can provide certain social security in retirement. The preservation of minimal level of population reproduction is vital for both pay as you go and fund pension schemes.

Regulations are often an object of interest of the economists. Some of them criticize regulations because they deform the market. The others appreciate their ability to redistribute the wealth in the society. The purpose of my thesis is to analyze the regulations in a specific agriculture market - production of milk. I supposed this part of agriculture market to be very interesting. There are some reasons: milk is a product of daily requirement, it is hardly to substitute, but still there are two levels of regulation - the European and the Czech one. The thesis is composed of six chapters. They are ordered from the general to particular facts. The used methods are mainly description and historical method. Interdisciplinary approach is also used. The first chapter focuses on the economic theory of regulation. The chapter is subdivided into parts that are dealing with market failures, capture theory, public interest, competition and monopoly. The conclusion of this chapter is as follows: the regulation in our economies exists because of the capture theory. Chapter Two explains the regulations on the European level. The Analysis of Some Economic and Legal Aspects of Corporate Governance of Central European Corporations There are three main goals of the thesis: 1) To identify the biggest economic risks of present Czech corporate governance 3) to recommend appropriate measures how to regulate corporate governance of publicly owned companies 2) to consider the question how appropriate it is to regulate corporate governance by hard law rules or when soft law rules could be appropriate enough. The thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical part and the practical one. The theoretical part is subdivided into four chapters. The first contains a general introduction to the corporate governance, the second includes a description of the system of corporate governance regulation, the next one is dedicated to financial crisis impact on the corporate governance regulation, and the final chapter deals with the comparison of Polish and Czech law regulation of corporate governance in publicly owned companies. Diploma paper "Rentseeking in the Czech legal system" is focused on the analysis of interest groups, their forms, procedures and instruments, which they use for rentseeking activities in the Czech Republic. The first section explains the concept rentseeking, the second part redefines this concept into national environment, the case studies are analyzed in the third part and the fourth is concentrated on specific interest groups in the Czech Republic.

Submitted thesis examines the role of the notion of end (purpose) in the theory of action and how reaching an end can be considered as rational. Underlying motive is an intuition of the Frankfurt school that identified modern society as irationally rational. By supplementing the notion of end with a dimension of its latitude - the spectrum of possibilities that are open for an action - I try to diferentiate it and enable a multi-dimensional conception of purposeful action in which creative and reactive aspects of an action can be separated. Inside this conception I try to make the abovementioned oxymóron intelligible without relying on moral maxims to which would be the action subordinated. To the this goal I progress from a discussion of the hermeneutical metatheoretical principles through a critical analysis of Weber's and Parsons' theory of action. I go through Weber's concept of understanding (verstehende) sociology, the question of access into the perspective of others, the notion of meaning (purpose), end, and rationality and Parsons' discussion of the possibilitties of analytical theory in sociology and the concept of "unit act".

The aim of this theoretical paper is to describe and analyze some of the most important sociological aspects of the tramping movement which had a serious impact upon many areas of leisure activities in the Czech republic. Beginning with a brief historical outlook, it was shown how the tramping movement have substantially been affected by specific historical circumstances. This part endeavoured to point out the most important periods which had a formative impact on the process of the tramping movement development in to an incommutable part of the Czech cul ture. The following section of the paper is designed as an attempt to categorize the movement within the broader social contex. I emphasized some of its significant features, allowing us to analyze the tramping movement throught the concept of subculture with consideration of some strong ties to particular generations. Czech tramping was also a very important element in the development of second housing, especially in the surroundings of Prague. In its early stages, the movement defined the structure and the basic shape of recreational settlements which later became the typical part of the Czech landscape. Nature park is enounced on account of conservation of a landscape character which is a specific typical appearance of landscape. It is often placed in a proximity to larger towns and cities and thus used by urban inhabitants as a place for relaxation and recreation in a natural environs. Small-scale protected areas with valuable natural properties are often parts of a nature park. An efficient management of each protected area even the nature park requires not only the essential knowledge but also the communication between government, visitors and inhabitants. The knowledge in opinions of involved groups is therefore fundamental. This study is focused on the research of the quantitative and qualitative aspects of the visit rate in the Nature park Ještěd and the opinions variety of the park's inhabitants. The physical counting method was used for the investigation of the visit-rate's dynamics - objects passing through the chosen site have been counted. Prepared questionnaires and the method of the controlled personal interview were used for the qualitative research. Visitors were monitored from July 2006 to September 2007 one weekend within each month except the winter season. This thesis aims to trace the thematisation of death and dying in Sociology, which in the 1990' evolves into constituion of independent sociological subdiscipline: "sociology of dying and death". The main intention then is to go beyond the commonly held beliefthat the death is still a taboo. The Thesis consists of four thematic parts: first part summarizes the occurence of problems of dying and death in sociology, reflecting recent developments not only in social sciences, but also in the society as such. Theretofore the death is interpreted by religion but has been medicalized so that nowadays medicine represents the determinative paradigm of death. This development is in accordance with the most important framework in the intensely individualized society centered around the notion of "self', closely connected with the concept of body and embodiment. Second part represents - on the background of medicine - three stages of death, where each of them allows to develop its own sociological reflection.
