Knowledge of characteristic clinical feature is essential in differential diagnosis of dementia. Early social behavioral disinhibition, frontal syndrome among other clinical signs of dementia, together with frontal and temporal uni- or bilateral cerebral atrophy findings lead us to diagnose morbus Pick. Pick's disease is the most frequent and known frontotemporal dementia (FTD) of the group of frontotemporal lobar degenerations. Clinical consideration towards probable Pick's disease is based on typical behavioral features, CT scan finding and dynamics of illness progress according to revised diagnostic criteria for the behavioural variant of FTD. Moreover, there is discussed new classification of frontotemporal dementia in upcomming ICD-11. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
