Maize is currently one of the most important feed crops. If we want to grow it effi-ciently, we should spend enough time selecting a suitable plot, seed and sowing date. When selecting the sowing date, it is important to achieve a temperature of 8 °C at sowing depth. The maize is sown at a depth of 3-4 cm and can be sown in conventional rows (75 cm), narrow rows (35 cm) or twin rows. Maize is a slow-growing crop, so it is important to pay attention to mechanical or chemical weed control. When harvesting maize for silage, the whole plant can be harvested or the split harvesting technique of CCM and LKS can be used. The hybrids WELAS, PERSEUS and AKANTO were evaluated. WELAS is a double line (Sc), early hyb-rid (FAO 240) and PERSEUS is a triple line (Tc), early hybrid (FAO 250). The PERSEUS hybrid was able to give a higher yield than WELAS in the plots evalu-ated. The hybrid used, agrotechnique and soil moisture availability had the greatest effect on yield.

In connection with the increasing occurrence of extreme hydrological situations, new opportunities for flood protection are emerging. Among these options also includes the gradually increase water retention capacity and to reduce runoff variability in headstream areas. This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of three physical geographical different river basins in the headstream area of Šumava mountains. The main aim of this study is a research influence of physiogeographic conditions on runoff extremity in the catchment of individual selected streams on the basis of a comparative analysis. Extremity runoff is represented by selected flood situations that were processed on the basis of data from the experimental monitoring of Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology, Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague. The opening part of this thesis consists of literary research, physical geographical and hydrographical characteristics of all catchment areas. The main part of the thesis is focused on description and comparison of extreme situations in the monitored catchments. The conclusion of the thesis is an evaluation, which consists in the assessment of the influence of physiogeographic conditions on runoff extremity. The objective of this thesis was to record the basic categories of behaviour of the sheep breed Suffolk under different climatic conditions throughout the year. The flock of meat sheep breed was grazed with the possibility of entry into the stables. Monitored were the basic categories of behaviour: movement, standing, lying down, feed intake. Comfortable behaviour, sexual behaviour, maternal behaviour, and water intake were monitored by frequency method. Four monitoring were carried out in total by interval method (interval length 10 min) for 24 h during the year (spring, summer, autumn and winter). Monitored was 68 pcs sheep of the basic herd and 3 breeding rams. In all observations the most represented categories were feed intake and lying. The longest feed intake period of sheep was in the winter 47.5 % of day at very low temperatures i.e. up to 10 °C. On the contrary, in the summer, at very high temperatures, sheep favoured the laying of 50 % per the day. In contrast the shortest time was dedicated to standing and movement. The shortest period of standing was recorded in the summer, when sheep stood 5.8 % of the day, and the shortest period of movement was recorded in the fall with the representation of 9.2 %. Climatic conditions greatly influence the grazing regime of sheep. Among the factors that disrupt the daily routine of the animals belonged heavy rain, thunderstorm, and high temperatures.

The aim of this thesis was to determine content of - a -bitter acids in samples of hop obtained from different types of growing regions. Object of research were cultivars of Saaz late, Sládek and Premiant cultivated in three growing regions (Žatecko, Úštěcko, Tršicko) in year 2015. Nine hop samples from conventional agriculture and one from bio production were examined. For all growing areas, from which hop cones were obtained, was determined altitude, rainfall and average temperatures during vegetation period. Quantity of bitter acids were measured by HPLC. Our calculated correlation coefficients showed that the higher altitude and average temperature the lower content of bitter acids was measured and more precipitation has positive impact on content of bitter acids.

The aim was to record the basic categories of behavior of milked goats on an organic farm with regard to the different climatic conditions throughout the year. The herd of approximately 100 goats for milk production was kept throughout the year with unlimited access to pasture freely within the enclosure. Followed the basic categories of behavior: feed intake, exercise, lying and standing. There were five investigations done by interval method (interval of 10 minutes) after 24 hours at different macro climatic conditions (rain, mild winter, frost, heat, optimum temperature). In all investigations were the most represented category relaxing form of lying. The goats rested longest at low temperatures approximately (-12C) for 42% of the day. In contrast the shortest duration of resting during high summer temperatures approximately (32C) was 35% of the day. The length of feed intake was relatively stable with the longest intake in winter by up to 10% to 25% of the day. Climatic conditions affect the regime of the day, especially in determining the time of intake. Goats grazed in summer when high temperatures mostly in the early morning, while the optimal temperatures were grazing evenly distributed throughout the day. Goats are very active, which is due to their lively temperament. Increased unrest in the herd was recorded in relentless rain.

The target of my work was Health risks evalution of employees in ARPIDA center. This facility provides care for the persons with physical and multiple disabilities. Employees were evaluated for the following professional groups: physical therapist, special educator, teaching assistant, personal assistant and rehabilitation pool lifeguard. For my research I have set the following research questions: ?What are the conditions for the categorization of works in connection with the operation of ARPIDA center??, ?Is the work of workers with direct contact with handicapped persons with endurable physical stress??, ?Are the factors at work of all employees ARPIDA center same and is the same as classifying these factors into categories?? The thesis was based on the application of a qualitative survey. The data collection method was used to interview with employees and then it was taged by secondary data analysis methodology compiling study of expert sources. Based on this research it was found that the factors do not work at all studied the same profession, the same is not their classification into categories. Some professions are burdened by excessive physical exertion. Lifeguard pool doesn´t expose to physical exertion, but his work activities affect climatic conditions and exposure to chemicals. Factors in a higher category than the first, can negatively affect the health of workers, especially physical load factor. For more specific evidence that physical stress factor could be in the category of the third, risk, I recommend to accredited or authorized measuring of physical activity in the profession a physiotherapist. This bachelor thesis can serve as a resource to increase awareness of employees who are professionally engaged in work with handicapped persons and may be the basis for further research in this field.

Atmospheric precipitation are given by a total railfall, the spatial distribution and intensity. All of these factors, along with climatic conditions, vegetation and soil type, take part in the total runoff. Extreme rainfall is dangerous with its energy and total rainfall, but also with its intensity, which has great influence on surface runoff and transport of soil particles. There are dozens of programs for processing Curve Number and total runoff.

The aim of the study was to find out the character of abundance fluctuations in a field vole population on immission clearings in the Krušné (Ore) Mountains during a 25 year series of trapping. Another aim was to find out the influence of climaticconditions on these cycles, concretely the influence of local climatic condition and the influence of North-Atlantic oscillation

Erosion damage is becoming one of the major problems of landuse in the Czech Republic. Torrential rains belong to the most important factors influencing the occurrence and intenzity of water erosion. The factor of erosion effectiveness of torrential rains R expresses their influence in the universal equation used to calculate the soil wash. The factor of storm rain R is expressed as the product of total kinetic energy of rain E and it is maximum thirty-minute intensity I30. The average annual value of factor R must be calculated for concrete climatic conditions. Torrential downpours occurring in the Czech Republic within the period starting to the end of April and ending October are of decisive importance.
