Jedan od najčešćih oblika građenja na našim područjima, također i u svijetu, su armiranobetonski okvirni sustavi s nearmiranim ispunskim ziđem, sa ili bez otvora u njima. Zidanom ispunom određuje se arhitektonsko oblikovanje građevine, te se najčešće u njima nalaze otvori za vrata ili prozore. Samo ispunsko ziđe smatra se nekonstruktivnim elementom koji nosi svoju vlastitu težinu, te se podrazumijeva da će prilikom potresnog djelovanja najprije doći do otkazivanja nekonstruktivnih elemenata, dok armiranobetonski okviri preuzimaju djelovanja ostalih konstrukcijskih elemenata, posebice potresnog djelovanja te moraju osigurati globalnu nosivost, stabilnost i sigurnost cijele konstrukcije. Izvedba zidane ispune često se ne izvodi po pravilima struke, te se samo ispunsko ziđe zida uz konstrukcijske armiranobetonske elemente te stvara vezu s istima. Što dovodi do zaključka da se nosivost armiranobetonskog okvirnog sustava s ispunskim ziđem može promatrati kao jedinstvena konstrukcijska cjelina, iako se utjecaj ispune na nosivost konstrukcije najčešće zanemaruje. Ispunsko ziđe se najčešće modelira pomoću dijagonalnog tlačnog štapa, debljina štapa pri proračunima je jednaka debljini zida, dok se širina štapa određuje, a upravo širina štapa stvara najveći izazov inženjerima jer postoji više pristupa pomoću kojih se može odrediti, ali se još uvijek određuje koji je najprikadniji. Ovim radom prikazan je proračunski mikromodel izrađen pomoću metode konačnih elemenata u računalnom programu Atena 2D Engineering. Nelinearan proračun podrazumjeva modeliranje nelinearnog ponašanja materijala, odnoso elemenata. Budući da su proračunski mikromodeli vrlo zahtjevni kod modeliranja materijala, oni zahtijevaju pažljiv unos ulaznih podataka kako bi rezultati proračuna bili što točniji u odnosu na rezultate ispitivanja stvarnog eksperimenta. U sklopu rada istraženo je ponašanje i posmična otpornost konstrukcijskog sustava okvir ziđe s omeđenim izmještenim otvorom za prozor opterećenog potresnim djelovanjem u vlastitoj ravnini. Kako bi se odredila posmična otpornost sustava okvir – ziđe s omeđenim otvorom za prozor, izradit će se nelinearni proračunski mikromodel u računalnom programu Atena 2D Engineering. Rezultati dobiveni proračunskim mikromodelom usporedit će se s rezultatima ispitivanja stvarnog eksperimenta., One of the most common types of construction in our area, but also in the whole world, are reinforced concrete systems with unreinforced filled walls, with or without openings in them. Architectural formation of the building is defined by its masonry infill and it most often contains openings for doors or windows. The filled walls are considered as a non-constructive element which carries its own weight and it is implied that during seismic action the first to fail are non-constructive elements, while the reinforced concrete frames take on the impact of other constructive elements, especially seismic action and must secure global load, stability and safety of the whole construction. Building of masonry infill is oftenly not done by the rules of the profession and only the filled walls are built adjacent to the constructive reinforced concrete frame system and are connected to it. That leads to the conclusion that the load of a reinforced concrete frame system with filled walls can be observed as a unique constructive unit even though the influence of the infill on the load of the construction is most often ignored. Filled walls are most often modeled by using a diagonal pressure rod. The thickness of the rod during calculations is equal to the thickness of the wall while the width of the rod is determined, and that width of the rod gives engineers the biggest challenge as there are several approaches to determine the width of the rod, but the most appropriate approache is still being determined. This thesis shows a micromodel calculation made by using the method of finite elements in Atena 2D Engineering CAD software. Nonlinear calculation implies modeling of nonlinear behaviour of the materials, i.e. elements. Because the micromodel calculations are very demanding when modeling materials, they require careful entry of input data so the results of the calculation would be as accurate as possible in regards to the results of the actual experiment. As part of this thesis the behaviour and shear resistance of the constructive system frame - walls with bounded displaced opening for window under load of seismic activity in own plane was investigated. To determine the shear resistance of the system frame – walls with bounded opening for windows, a nonlinear micromodel calculation will be made in Atena 2D Engineering CAD software. Results from the micromodel calculation will be compared with results of the actual experiment.

U ovom radu predstavljen je numerički model armiranobetonske poslovnostambene zgrade koji koristi svojstva betonskih mješavina s različitim udjelom reciklirane gume. Nelinearna analiza je provedena na pet različitih modela, odnosno na modelu s 0%, modelu s 5%, modelu s 10%, modelu s 15% i modelu s 20% gumenog granulata u betonskoj mješavini. Za sve modele provedena je statička pushover analiza, te dinamička analiza za sedam različitih zapisa potresa. Cilj ovog rada bio je procijeniti ponašanje konstrukcije pri različitim utjecajima postotka gume koristeći nelinearnu analizu konstrukcije. Rezultati statičke „pushover“ analize prikazani su histereznih krivuljama sile i pomaka, dok su rezultati dinamičke nelinearne analize prikazani grafovima međukatnih pomaka. Na osnovu kojih je donesen zaključak o mogućoj upotrebi gume u betonu., Numeric model of reinforced concrete building is presented in this paper. It was designed as business-residential building. Numeric model is using properties of different concrete mixtures with recycled rubber. Nonlinear analysis was conducted for five different models for one with a 0% recycled rubber, one with a 5% recycled rubber, 10 %, 15 % and for the one with a 20% of recycled rubber in concrete mixture. For all these models, static pushover analysis and dynamic analysis for seven different earthquakes was conducted. The aim of this paper was to estimate behavior of this building while using different percentage of recycled rubber in concrete mixture while using nonlinear analysis. The results of static pushover analysis are showed with hysteric curve that represent relationship between force and displacement, while the results of a dynamic nonlinear analysis are displayed on a interstory drift chart. Conclusion was made based on these results.

Vrlo uobičajen konstrukcijski sustav u građevinarstvu za niske i srednje visoke zgrade seizmički aktivnih područja Europe je armiranobetonski okvir ispunjen ziđem. U skladu s dosadašnjim spoznajama o potresnim djelovanjima, konstrukcijski sustav sastoji se od seizmički otpornih elemenata, okvira koji se izvodi od armiranog betona ili čelika, te ispunskog ziđa za koju se u Republici Hrvatskoj koriste blok opeka ili betonski blokovi. U ispunskom ziđu najčešće se nalaze otvori različitih veličina, oblika i smještaja, te oni mogu biti ukrućeni serklažima koji pridonose dodatnoj stabilnosti i krutosti sustava. Ispunsko ziđe znatno utječe na odgovor konstrukcije na potresno djelovanje i taj se utjecaj mora na odgovarajući način uzeti u obzir prilikom proračuna. Proračunski postupci određivanja potresne otpornosti moraju se koristiti vrlo oprezno te u skladu s propisima potresnog inženjerstva. Razlog tome je najčešće nedovoljno razumijevanje njihova utjecaja. Ispunsko ziđe se najčešće modelira dijagonalnim tlačnim štapom. Pri proračunu debljina štapa je jednaka debljini zida, a širina štapa se određuje. Širinu štapa dan danas nije lako odrediti, postoji čak više pristupa od kojih se utvrđuje najprikladniji. Proračunski model izrađen je u računalnom programu Atena 2D Engineering pomoću metode konačnih elemenata (MKE). Izrađen je nelinearni proračunski mikro model u kojem je modelirano nelinearno ponašanje armature, betona, te elemenata ispune, blokova i morta. Proračunski modeli su dosta osjetljivi na ulazne podatke zato treba biti pažljiv prilikom unosa istih. Proračunski modeli su vrlo dobra zamjena za stvarni eksperimentalni model, daje vrlo kvalitetne rezultate ispitivanja. U okviru ovoga rada istraženo je ponašanje i posmična otpornost konstrukcijskog sustava okvir-ziđe za slučaj neizmještenog otvora za vrata sa serklažima pri simulaciji potresa u vlastitoj ravnini. U tu svrhu potrebno je izraditi prostorni model primjenom metode konačnih elemenata u računalnom programu ATENA 2D kako bi se odredila posmična otpornost sustava u svojoj ravnini. Usporedit će se rezultati dobiveni eksperimentalnim ispitivanjem s rezultatima iz proračunskih postupaka iz ATENE 2D., A reinforced concrete frame filled with masonry is a common structural system for low and medium high buildings in Europe's seismically active areas. In accordance with current knowledge about earthquake effects, the structural system consists of seismic resistance elements, frames made of reinforced concrete or steel and infill wall, in Croatia usually made of brick blocks or concrete. In masonry infill wall are mostly found the apertures of different sizes, forms and location, which can be stiffened with r.c.confining element that contribute to the system’s additional stability and rigidity. The infill wall significantly influences the response of the structure to the earthquake action and this influence must be appropriately taken into account when calculating. Numerical procedures for determining earthquake resistance must be used very carefully in accordance with earthquake engineering regulations. Mostly, the reason for this is insufficient understanding of this impact. The infill wall is usually modeled with a diagonal pressure rod. When calculating, the thickness of the rod is equal to the thickness of the wall, and the width of the rod is determined. The width of the rod is not easy to determine - there are multiple approaches from which we determine the most appropriate. The numerical model was created in the Athens 2D Engineering computer program using finite element method (FEM). It has been created s nonlinear numerical micro model in which the nonlinear behavior of reinforcement, concrete, filler elements, blocks and mortar was modeled. Numerical models are quite sensitive to input data, so data should be entered carefully. The numerical models are very good substitution for the actual experimental models because they give high-quality results. This paper investigates the behavior and shear resistance of a frame-wall structural system in the case of a non-displaced door opening with r.c.confining element when simulating an earthquake in its own plane. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop a spatial model using finite element methods (FEM) in the ATHENS 2D computer program to determine the positive resistance of the system in its own plane. The results of the experimental tests will be compared with those of the ATHENS 2D numerical procedures.

U ovom diplomskom radu opisuje se nelinearni numerički proračun dvije varijante zavarenog priključka stup-greda provedene metodom konačnih elemenata. Kao osnovni materijal korištena je legura EN AW-6082 T6. Priključak je promatran u varijanti sa zavarenim ukrutama aluminijskog stupa i bez istih. Korištena su dva modela materijala. Prvi je izveden iz važeće norme za aluminijske konstrukcije dok se drugi temelji na rezultatima eksperimenata drugih autora i kalibriran je zasebnim numeričkim proračunom. Iz rezultata proračuna konstruirani su dijagrami moment-rotacija za slučajeve različite geometrije i materijala priključka i izvršena je usporedba istih., In this graduate thesis, the nonlinear numerical calculation of two variants of welded column-beam joint is performed using the finite element method. Aluminum alloy EN AW-6082 T6 was used as the base material. The connection was observed in a variant with stiffener plates welded on aluminum column and without them. Two models of materials were used. The first is derived from the applicable standard for aluminum structures while other is based on the results of other authors testing and calibrated by a separate numerical calculation. From the results of the calculations, moment-rotation diagrams for diferent geometry and material properties of joint have been constructed and they are compared.

Ovim radom analiziran je utjecaj materijalnih svojstava parodontnog ligamenta na položaj središta otpora gornjeg desnog sjekutića kod ortodontske terapije. U programskom paketu Mimics Medical 17.0, iz CT snimki lubanje, izrađen je 3D model. Model se sastoji od zuba, parodontnog ligamenta i alveolne kosti koja se sastoji iz kortikalnog i trabekularnog djela. Model je u programskom paketu Abaqus analiziran kao linearno elastičan i nelinearan koristeći metodu konačnih elemenata. Parodontni ligament je prvo analiziran kao izotropan i homogen, a zatim je podijeljen na pet regija koje su bile izotropne, ali svaka s različitim mehaničkim svojstvima. Na krunu zuba postavljena je sila F čiji se iznos mijenjao te je iznosio 1 N, 3 N i 5 N, a na istom hvatištu kao i sila, postavljen je i moment M koji je uvijek iznosio -5 Nmm. S obzirom da su analize bile linearno elastične i nelinearne, s homogenim i heterogenim parodontim ligamnetom te sa tri različite vrijednosti sila, izvršeno je ukupno dvanaest analiza. Analize su pokazale da materijalna svojstva parodontnog ligamenta osjetno utječu na položaj središta otpora zuba. In this thesis the influence of material properties of peridontal ligament on position on center of resistance of upper right incisor was analysed. In Mimics Medical 17.0, from CT scan of skull, a 3D model was built. The model is composed of teeth, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone which consists of cortical and trabecular part. Model is analyzed in Abaqus as linearly elastic and nonlinear using the finite element method. Periodontal ligament was first analyzed as isotropic and homogenous, then divided into five regions that were isotropic, but each with different mechanical properties. The force F has been applied on dental crown and its magnitude was 1 N, 3 N and 5 N. On the same position was force applied, moment was also applied, and its magnitude was 5 Nmm, and it had same value in all analyses. Since the analyses were linearly elastic and nonlinear, with homogenous and heterogenous periodontal ligament and with three different force values, twelve analyses were done. Analyses have pointed out that material properties of periodontal ligament significantly affects on the position of tooth center of resistance.

Izrazito seizmički aktivna područja Europe su njezin južni i jugoistočni dio, a vrlo uobičajen konstrukcijski sustav za niske i srednje visoke zgrade toga područja su okvir ispunjeni ziđem. U skladu s dosadašnjim spoznajama o potresnim djelovanjima, konstrukcijski sustav okvir-ziđe sastoji se od seizmički otpornih elemenata, okvira koji se izvodi od armiranog betona ili čelika, te ispune za koju se u Republici Hrvatskoj koriste blok opeka ili betonski blokovi. U ispunskom ziđu najčešće se nalaze otvori različitih veličina i smještaja. Ispuna mijenja odgovor konstrukcije na potres i njen se utjecaj mora na odgovarajući način uzeti u proračun. Do danas razvijeni proračunski postupci određivanja potresne otpornosti razvijeni za konstrukcijski sustav okvir-ziđe, ne smiju se rabiti nekritično i bez opreza. Razlog tome je najčešće nedovoljno razumijevanje njihova utjecaja. Najčešće se ispunsko ziđe modelira dijagonalnim tlačnim štapom. Pri proračunu debljina štapa je jednaka debljini zida, a širinu štapa je potrebno odrediti. Više autora nude različite postupke određivanja širine dijagonalnog tlačnog štapa. Do danas nije jasno utvrđeno koji je pristup najprikladniji .Različite vrste elemenata i morta te različite vrste, smještaje i veličine otvora moguće je preciznije obuhvatiti ukoliko se koriste simulacije neelastičnog ponašanja pomoću proračunskih mikromodela. Proračunski mikromodeli zbog svoje složenosti i trajnosti proračuna ograničeni su na manje probleme te ih je zbog pouzdanosti potrebno provjeriti eksperimentalnim ispitivanjima. U okviru rada istraženo je ponašanje konstrukcijskog sustava okvir-ziđe, u slučaju kada se u ispunskom ziđu nalazi otvor za vrata postavljen centrično, pri simulaciji potresa u i izvan vlastite ravnine.U tu svrhu potrebno je izraditi prostorni model primjenom metode konačnih elemenata u računalnom programu ATENA 3D kako bi se odredila otpornost sustava u svojoj i okomito na svoju ravninu. Usporedit će se rezultati dobiveni eksperimentalnim ispitivanjem s rezultatima dobivenim pojednostavljenim proračunskim postupcima., The southern and southeastern parts of Europe are considered to be regions with great seismic activity. Therefore, frames with masonry infill are for this region a very common construction system for low and medium high buildings Based on the knowledge of previous earthquakes, construction system frame-masonry is consisted of seismic resistant elements, reinforced with concrete or steel, as well as masonry infill which is in Croatia blocks of bricks or concrete blocks. Masonry infill mostly has openings of different sizes and positions, and it significantly changes the construction response to the earthquake, so its response must be considered. Many calculation procedures that have been developed so far to determine earthquake resistance for construction system frame-masonry, should not be used uncritically and unadvisedly. The main reason for that is the lack of knowledge of their actual impact. The most common way of modelling masonry infill is by replacing infills with one diagonal compressive strut. In the analysis the thickness of the strut is equal to the thickness of the wall, and it is necessary to determine the width of the strut. Many authors offer different procedures to determine the width of the diagonal strut, but they haven't still agreed which one is the best. It is possible to include different elements such as mortar as well as different types, positions and dimensions of openings more precisely if simulations of nonelastic behaviour with the help of numerical micromodels are used. Numerical micromodels, due to their complexity and time-consuming calculations, can have some problems, therefore it is necessary to check the reliability of such models using experimental tests. Within the scope of work, the behaviour of construction system frame-masonry was analysed, but only in the case when there is a centric door opening in infill, under earthquake simulation in plane and out of plane. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop a spatial model using finite element method in the computer programme Atena 3D software, to determine the resistance of system in its plane and perpendicular to its plane. The results of experimental tests will be compared with the results of analytical calculations.

Okvirni sustavi sa ispunom sastoje se od dva konstrukcijska elementa, okvira i ispune. Najčešće su to armiranobetonski okvir, te ispun zidan opečnim blokom. Ispunsko ziđe zbog svoje krutosti mijenja odziv ukupne konstrukcije na horizontalne sile, odnosno, na dominantnu horizontalnu silu koju izaziva potres. Utjecaj ispunskoga ziđa može biti pozitivan i negativan. U dosadašnjim propisima, uglavnom je uzet u obzir negativan utjecaj, tako štiteći dominantni konstrukcjski element, tj. armiranobetonski okvir. Pojednostavljenim postupcima određivanja međudjelovanja ispunskog ziđa i okvira najčešće se koristi zamjenjujuća tlačna dijagonala. Modeliranje samog ispunskog ziđa je teško, jer se i ono samo sastoji od više elemenata koji nemaju jednaka mehanička svojstva u svim smjerovima, te jako ovise o kvaliteti izvođenja. Dodatan problem predstavljaju otvori u ziđu koji su neizbježni. Pojednostavljeni postupci zanemaruju mnogo parametara, pa tako i postojanje otvora, dok neki i to uzimaju u obzir ali nedovoljno definirano s obzirom na veličinu, smještaj i vrstu otvora. Zamjenjujuća tlačna dijagonala u većini slučajeva ima širinu jednaku širini ziđa, te mehanička svojstva kao ziđe, a proračuni se uglavnom razlikuju po izrazima za određivanje visine poprečnog presjeka zamjenjujuće tlačne dijagonale. U ovom radu proveden je nelinearni proračun okvira ispunjenog ziđem sa otvorom za prozor postavljenim ekscentrično u računalnom programu Atena 3D Engineering. Ovakvi modeli, tzv. mikromodeli imaju mnogo parametara, stoga je model kalibriran s obzirom na eksperiment koji je proveo (Penava, 2012). Mikromodelom se simulira neelastično ponašanje svih elemenata u ispunskomu ziđu, te njihov međusobni utjecaj i utjecaj na armiranobetonski okvir. Proračun je proveden metodom konačnih elemenata. Na kraju su uspoređene otpornosti okvira ispunjenih ziđem u svojoj ravnini i okomito na svoju ravninu, dobivenih pomoću eksperimenta, mikromodela i pojednostavljenih postupaka ., Infilled frames are made from two construction elements, frames and infills. The most common ones are reinforced concrete frames, and infills made from clay block masonry. Masonry infill due to its own stiffness, change construction response to the horizontal forces , primely to the dominant horizontal force caused by earthquake. The influence of infills can be positive and negative. In the current regulations, a negative impact was generally taken into account, thus protecting the dominant construction element, ie the reinforced concrete framework. Most often simplified analytical methods of determining interaction of infills and frames are using equivalent diagonal struts. Modeling masonry infills is challenge, because it consist several elements that do not have same mechanical properties in all directions, and quality of infills depends on workers building skills. An additional problem are the openings in the walls which are necesarily. Simplified methods ignore many parameters, thus, the existence of openings, while some also take into account but insufficiently defined with regard to size, position and type of openings. The equivalent diagonal strut in most cases has a width equal to the width of the wall, and the mechanical properties like the infill wall.Calculations are generally different in terms of determining the width of the cross-section of the equivalent diagonal strut. In this paper, the frame filled with walls with a window opening set eccentrically is calculated as nonlinear in the computer program Atena 3D Engineering. Such models, so called micromodels have many parameters, so the model is calibrated with respect to the experiment carried out by (Penava, 2012). The micromodels simulates the inelastic behavior of all elements in the infill walls, and their mutual influence , also their impact on the reinforced concrete frame. The resistances of the infilled frames in its plane and out of its plane, obtained by experiment, micromodel and simplified procedures are compared at the end.

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je numerička linearna i nelinearna analiza čeličnog rešetkastog stupa dalekovoda primjenom metode konačnih elemenata. Cilj rada je kreiranje ispravnog numeričkog modela koji može prikazati dovoljno točno ponašanje čeličnog rešetkastog stupa pri nametnutom opterećenju izazvanom težinom stupa i vodiča, naletima vjetra te dodatnog opterećenja snijegom i ledom. U prvom dijelu opisan je dalekovod i njegovi osnovni elementi: stupovi, vodiči, zaštitno uže, uzemljenje te ovjesna i spojna oprema. Također opisani su klimatski faktori koji utječu na opterećenje dalekovoda. Zatim je proveden izračun opterećenja definiranih Pravilnikom o tehničkim normativima za izgradnju nadzemnih elektroenergetskih vodova napona 1 kV do 400 kV. U prvom koraku pristupilo se numeričkoj linearnoj analizi čeličnog rešetkastog zateznog stupa dalekovoda ZAH2 s linearno elastičnim materijalom pri zadanim opterećenjima definiranih pravilnikom. Dobiveni rezultati uspoređeni su s eksperimentalno dobivenim rezultatima nosivosti stupa koji su poslužili kao verifikacija numeričkog modela. Nakon linearne analize, provedena je nelinearna analiza Riks–Wempner–Wesselsovom metodom s geometrijskom i materijalnom nelinearnošću. Rezultati rada naposljetku prikazuju ponašanje čeličnog rešetkastog stupa uslijed velikog opterećenja, tj. iznos maksimalnog opterećenja prilikom kojeg nastupa kolaps stupa. Numeričke analize provedene su u programskom paketu Abaqus/CAE 6.14. The subject of this thesis is a numerical analysis of a steel lattice transmission line tower using finite elements method. The aim of this work is to create a correct numerical model that can display sufficiently accurate behavior of a steel lattice tower at the imposed loading of the tower and conductors weight, the wind loads and the additional snow and ice load. The first part describes the transmission line and its basic elements: towers, conductors, earth wire, earthing and fixing and coupling equipment. Climatic factors affecting the load on the transmission line are also described. Then the load calculation was conducted defined by the Regulation on Technical Standards for Construction of Overhead Power Lines of Nominal Voltage Between 1 and 400 kV. In the first step, the numerical linear analysis of the steel lattice tension tower ZAH2 with linear elastic material was performed at the given loads defined by the regulation. The results obtained were compared with the experimental results of tower capacity which is used as a numerical model verification. After linear analysis, the nonlinear analysis was performed using the Riks–Wempner–Wessels method with geometric and material nonlinearities. This thesis finally show the behavior of the steel lattice tower due to heavy loads, i.e. the amount of the maximum load on which the tower collapse occurs. Numerical analyzes were carried out using Abaqus/CAE 6.14 software package.

Okviri sa ispunom kompozitne su konstrukcije koje se sastoje od okvira, koji je najčešće izveden od armiranog betona ili čelika, te ispune za koju se u Hrvatskoj koriste blok opeke ili betonski blokovi. Ispuna bitno mijenja odziv konstrukcije na potres i njen se utjecaj mora na odgovarajući način uzeti u obzir. Dosadašnji propisi ne sadrže pojašnjenje o tome na koji način obuhvatiti utjecaj ispune u proračun. Najveći razlog leži u nedovoljnom razumijevanju o tome kako ispuna utječe na okvir. Prijašnji potresi su pokazali kako ispuna može imati i pozitivna i negativna svojstva koja na kraju utječu na ponašanje konstrukcije. Suvremeni propisi koji nastoje ''zaštititi'' okvir uglavnom su orijentirani na negativna svojstva ispune, zbog toga treba poraditi na toj kontroverznoj temi, a poseban problem su okviri s ispunom s otvorima. U okviru rada istraženo je ponašanje građevne konstrukcije pri simulaciji potresa u i izvan vlastite ravnine. U tu svrhu izrađen je nelinearni mikromodel armiranobetonskog okvira s ispunskim ziđem i otvorom u sredini, u mjerilu 1:2,5 primjenom računalnog programa Atena 3D Eng. Za izvedbu modela u računalnom programu, bila je potrebna kalibracija osnovnih svojstava ziđa koja su se usvojila iz doktorske disertacije (Penava et al. 2012.). Na taj način utvrđeni su parametri koji utječu na modeliranje uokvirenog ziđa kao i dimenzije ziđa te pripadna opterećenja. U ovom diplomskom radu usporedit će se izvedeno eksperimentalno ispitivanje iz doktorske disertacije s rezultatima dobivenim u računalnom programu. Za još bolju usporedbu, izrađeni su i matematički (pojednostavljeni) modeli raznih autora koji daju smjernice za proračun konstrukcije izložene potresnom djelovanju. Diplomski rad izrađen je u okviru istraživačkog projekta "FRAme-MAsonry Composites for Modelling and Standardization (HRZZ-IP-2013-11-3013)“ Hrvatske zaklade za znanost. Rezultati ovog rada su za uvid u utjecaj ispunskog ziđa na odziv armiranobetonskog okvira. Uzimanje utjecaja ispunskog ziđa dovodi do pouzdanije procjene sigurnosti postojećih i novih građevina., Frames with masonry infill walls are composite structures which consist of frame, who can be from reinforced concrete or steel, and masonry infill which is in Croatia blocks of bricks or concrete blocks. Masonry infill significant changes the construction response to the earthquake so there is need to put it under attention. The former regulation doesn't consist explanations of how to include infill in calculations. The biggest reason is that engineers still don't understand the way that infill effects the frame. Earthquakes in the past showed that infill can have both positive and negative effects on the construction behaviour. Contemporary regulations which strive to protect the frame are usually oriented to the negative sides of the infill, that's why engineers needs to work on that topic. And the special kind of problems is masonry infill walls with the opening. Within the scope of work, it was investigated the behaviour of structure under earthquake simulation, in plane and out of plane. In that case, the nonlinear micromodel of reinforced concrete frame and masonry infill wall with the opening in the middle was modeled. The measure was 1:2,5 according to the real dimensions and for modelling was used computer programme Atena 3D Eng. For modeling the wall in computer programme it was adopted the basic properties for masonry infill from doctoral dissertation (Penava, 2012) . On that way, the parameters were established which have an effect for modelling frames with masonry and the dimensions of masonry. This thesis compare the experiment from doctoral thesis with results from Atena 3D Eng. and six simplified approaches from different researchers for constructions under earthquake. This thesis was produced in the scope of research project ''FRAme-MAsonry Composites for Modelling and Standardization (HRZZ-IP-2013-11-3013)'' from Croatian Science Foundation. The results of this thesis will be used for an insight of the influence of masonry infill walls to the reinforced concrete frames. Taking the influence of infill under consideration will bring us to the more reliable estimates of existing and new buildings.

U skladu s dosadašnjim spoznajama, a na osnovu izvješća s potresom pogođenih područja, konstrukcijski sustav okvir-ziđe čine seizmički otporni elementi armiranobetonski okvir i ispunsko ziđe. U ispunskom ziđu najčešće se nalaze otvori za prozore ili vrata, različitih veličina i smještaja, a koji utječu na seizmički odziv konstrukcijskog sustava (npr. uzrokuju promjenu načina sloma ziđa). Proračunski postupci određivanja potresne otpornosti razvijeni za konstrukcijski sustav okvir-ziđe, ne smiju se rabiti nekritično i bez opreza (npr. zbog neujednačenosti čvrstoća materijala za zidanje). Najčešće se ispunsko ziđe modelira (predočuje) dijagonalnim tlačnim štapovima, gdje je potrebno odrediti njihovu širinu, dok im je debljina jednaka debljini samog zida. Takvim se pristupom smanuje broj nepoznanica u sustavu te znatno ubrzava proračun konstrukcije. Više autora, rješavajući problem eksperimentalno i teorijski, došlo je do različitih spoznaja o određivanju širine dijagonalnog tlačnog štapa. Do danas nije jasno utvrđeno koji je pristup najprikladniji te na koji način sa sigurnošću predvidjeti odziv konstrukcijskog sustava okvir-ziđe pri seizmičkom djelovanju, sa i bez prisutnosti otvora u ziđu. U odnosu na model dijagonalnog tlačnog štapa, simulacijom neelastičnog ponašanja pomoću proračunskih mikromodela, u kojim se posebno modeliraju spoj morta i zidnih elemenata te zidni elementi međusobno, moguće je precizno obuhvatiti različite vrste zidnih elemenata, morta, vrste, smještaja i veličine otvora. Proračunski mikromodeli zbog svoje složenosti i trajnosti proračuna ograničeni su na manje probleme te ih je zbog pouzdanosti potrebno provjeriti eksperimentalnim ispitivanjima. Cilj rada provesti je nelinearni proračun prethodno eksperimentalno ispitanog konstrukcijskog sustava okvir-ziđe za slučaj kada se u ispunskom ziđu ne nalazi otvor. Potrebno je izraditi prostorni model primjenom metode konačnih elemenata u računalnom programu ATENA 3D kako bi se odredila otpornost sustava u svojoj i okomito na svoju ravninu. Usporediti će se rezultati dobiveni pojednostavljenim proračunskim postupcima s rezultatima proračunskih mikromodela i eksperimentalnih ispitivanja., The current research findings, as well as the reports from earthquake affected areas, contribute to the fact that the structural frame-wall systems are assembled from seismically resistant members: reinforced concrete frames and masonry infill walls. Masonry infill walls usually contain different in size and position window and door openings, that influence the seismic response of the structural system (e.g. failure mechanism). Earthquake resistance design methodologies developed for structural frame-wall systems should not be used uncritically and without caution (e.g. significant variability in properties of masonry material characteristics). Masonry infill wall is usually modelled (represented) using diagonal struts, where the problem is how to determine their width, while the thickness is taken equal to the thickness of the wall. By using this approach the number of unknowns is less and the computation time is significantly short. Many researchers, by approaching the problem experimentally and theoretically, came to the different findings about the width of the diagonal strut. By today there is no unique standing point among the researchers about which of the approaches with certain degree of reliability can predict the response of the structural frame-wall system under seismic action, with and without presence of the openings in masonry infill wall. As contrary to the diagonal strut model approach, by simulation of inelastic behaviour using computational micromodels (where masonry mortar joints and masonry units are modelled separately), it is possible to accurately describe the influence of different masonry unit and masonry mortar types and opening's size and position. Computational micromodels are due to their complexity and computation duration limited to the smaller problems (structural parts) and due to their reliability it is necessary to validate them against experiments. The aim of this work is to conduct nonlinear analysis of a previously experimentally tested structural frame-wall system in case when there is no opening in masonry infill wall (complete wall). The task is to develop a spatial model using finite element method and computer program ATENA 3D Eng in order to determine the structural resistance of the system in-plane and out-of-plane. The out-of-plane structural resistance will be determined by considering the different grades of the in-plane damage. Based on the results of the computational analyses the interaction curve of the in-plane and the out¬of-plane structural system's resistance will be provided.

Na osnovu dosadašnjih spoznaja o potresnim djelovanjima, konstrukcijski sustav okvir-ziđe sastoji se od seizmički otpornih elemenata, armiranobetonskog okvira i ispunskog ziđa. Nerijetko se u ispunskom ziđu nalaze otvori za prozore ili vrata, koji bitno utječu na seizmički odziv konstrukcijskog sustava. Do sada su razvijeni mnogi proračunski postupci za određivanje potresne otpornosti ovakvih konstrukcija, ali ne smiju se koristiti nekritično i bez opreza. Najčešće primjenjivani način modeliranja jest da se ispunsko ziđe predstavlja jednim dijagonalnim tlačnim štapom. Pri proračunu potrebno je odrediti širinu štapa, dok je debljina jednaka debljini zida. Takvim pristupom smanjuje se broj nepoznanica i znatno se ubrzava proračun. Postoji nekoliko načina određivanja širine dijagonalnog tlačnog štapa, a do danas nije utvrđeno koji od njih je najprikladniji te koji je način predviđanja odziva konstrukcijskog sustava okvir ziđe s i bez otvora u ziđu najsigurniji pri potresnom djelovanju. Ukoliko se umjesto modela tlačnog štapa koriste simulacije neelastičnog ponašanja pomoću proračunskih mikromodela, gdje se posebno modeliraju zidni elementi i spoj morta i zidnih elemenata, moguće je preciznije obuhvatiti različite vrste elemenata i morta te različite vrste, smještaje i veličine otvora. Proračunski su modeli vrlo složeni, a njihova su izrada i proračun dugotrajni pa je njihovo korištenje ograničeno na manje probleme. Također, zbog pouzdanosti ih je potrebno provjeriti eksperimentalnim ispitivanjima, što je skupo i dugotrajno. Cilj ovog rada jest provesti nelinearni proračun prethodno eksperimentalno ispitanog modela konstrukcijskog sustava okvir-ziđe, u slučaju kada se u ispunskom ziđu nalazi otvor za vrata postavljen ekscentrično. Potrebno je izraditi prostorni model primjenom metode konačnih elemenata u računalnom programu ATENA 3D kako bi se odredila otpornost sustava u svojoj i okomito na svoju ravninu. Rezultati proračuna proračunskog mikromodela uspredit će se s rezultatima dobivenim pojednostavljenim proračunskim postupcima i rezultatima eksperimentalnih ispitivanja., Based on previous earthquakes, construction system frame-masonry is consisted of seismic resistant elements, reinforced concrete frame and masonry wall. In masonry walls there are often openings for doors and windows, which have a great effect on seismic response of construction system. Many calculation procedures have been developed so far, but they should not be used uncritically and unadvisedly. The most common way of modelling such constructions is replacing infills with one diagonal compressive strut. In the analysis of such construction, it is necessary to determine the width of diagonal strut, while its thickness is equal to wall thickness. That kind of approach reduces the number of unknowns and eases the calculations. There are several approaches of determining diagonal strut thickness, but to date it is not determined which one is the most appropriate, and what way of predicting seismic response of frame-infill system with and without openings is the most confident. If simulations of nonelastic behaviour using numerical micromodels, where wall elements and joints between them are separately modelled, instead of the compression strut are used, it is possible to include different types of elements, mortar and different types, positions and dimensions of openings more precisely. Numerical models are complex and modelling and calculations take a lot of time, so their application is limited to fewer problems. Also, it is necessary to check reliability of such models using experimental tests, which is expensive and long lasting. The aim of this paper is to perform nonlinear calculation of previously experimentally tested frame-masonry construction system in case when there is eccentric door opening in infill. It is necessary to develop spatial model using finite element method using Atena 3D Eng software, to determine the resistance of system in its plane and perpendicular to its plane. The results of analysis of numerical micromodel will be compared with the results of analytical calculations and results of experimental tests.

U ovom radu proveden je dizajn i numerički proračun elementa manipulatora za ispitivanje dijelova nuklearnih elektrana. Tvrtka Inetec - Institut za Nuklearnu Tehnologiju razvila je mobilni manipulator Forerunner za ispitivanje cijevi parogeneratora PWR tipova elektrana. Manipulator se samostalno drži i giba po cijevnoj stijeni parogeneratora pomoću četiri posebno dizajnirana gripera. Pri tome elastični dio gripera - prst gripera, ulazi u cijev te se pomoću pneumatskog aktuatora radijalno širi i zaključava unutar cijevi. Prilikom ispitivanja dijelova nuklearnih elektrana poţeljno je da uređaji za ispitivanju budu što jednostavniji i da se sastoje od što manjeg broja komponenti. U skladu s tim proveden je razvoj nove verzije prsta gripera, koji se do sada sastojao od mehanizma s tri elementa, sa samo jednim elementom. U uvodnom dijelu rada ukratko su prikazani tipovi nuklearnih postrojenja i njihovi relevantni dijelovi. Prikazane su osnovne metode nerazornih ispitivanja u nuklearnoj industriji i postojeće izvedbe robota koje koriste te metode prilikom ispitivanja dijelova elektrana. Opisan je princip rada Forerunnera i mehanizma gripera. U posebnom poglavlju pokazani su osnovni teorijski principi potrebni za razumijevanje i definiranje numeričke analize koja uključuje velike deformacije i kontakt. Prikazane su osnove nelinearne analize i načini definiranja kontakta u programskom paketu Abaqus. Nakon verifikacije numeričkog modela na jednostavnom primjeru kontakta dvaju tijela, prikazan je tijek razvoja novog prsta gripera s pripadnim numeričkim proračunom. Na temelju rezultata numeričke analize nova verzija prsta gripera izrađena je i testirana u laboratoriju tvrtke Inetec gdje je pokazano da novi prst zadovoljava sve potrebne zahtjeve i pouzdano radi u predviđenom broju ciklusa zaključavanja. The thesis presents the design process and numerical analysis of a manipulator component used in nuclear power plant inspections. Inetec - Institute for Nuclear Technology designed the Forerunner, a manipulator used for steam generator inspections in PWR nuclear power plants. The Forerunner uses four specifically designed grippers to lock his position on the steam generator tube sheet. In the gripping process, an elastic component of the gripper, called the gripper finger, is pushed into the tube. Through a pneumatic actuator, the finger then expands and locks to the tube. In the nuclear industry it is recommended to use equipment that consists of as few components as possible. Since the Forerunner gripper finger used a mechanism with three components, a new gripper finger with only one component was designed. In the introduction of the thesis, a short overview of nuclear power plants was provided. Basic nondestructive testing methods and current robotic system used in nuclear power plant inspections were shown. The inspection process was explained on the Forerunner. One chapter was dedicated to explaining basic theory concepts used in numerical analysis of problems that include large strains and contacts. The basics of nonlinear formulation and contact modeling in the software suite Abaqus FEA was provided. After presenting the used modeling techniques on a simple verification problem, an overview of the design process of the new gripper finger was given. The design process was accompanied with the appropriate numerical analysis using the finite element method. Based on the results of the numerical analysis, the new gripper finger was manufactured and tested in Inetecs laboratory, where it was shown that the new design of the gripper finger meets all the necessary demands and reliably works within the expected number of locking cycles.

Ovim radom smo istražili odgovor numeričkog modela za različite statičke sustave tipskog čeličnog antenskog stupa uslijed opterećenja slučajnih vremenskih serija zapisa vjetra na lokaciji predmetnog stupa. Nelinearnom analizom velikih pomaka, koristeći inženjerski program Ansys, dobiveni su rezultati odgovora konstrukcije na djelovanje vjetrova bure i juga. Usporedbom dinamičkih krutosti, dobivenih dijeljenjem spektra srednje čvorne sile i spektra pomaka vrha stupa uslijed djelovanja pojedinog vjetra, pokazalo se da je konstrukcija antenskog stupa kruća za djelovanje bure na svim frekventnim područjima. In this paper we investigated the answer of numerical models for different steel antenna tower´s static systems due to loads of random time series of wind speeds collected at the location of the antenna tower. The results of structural response to the action of northeast and southeast wind have been shown by nonlinear analysis of large deflections, using engineering software Ansys. By comparing the dynamic stiffness, obtained by dividing response spectrum mean nodal force with response spectrum total deformation at the top of the tower due to action of a particular wind, it has been shown that the antenna tower structure is stiffer due to the influence of northeast wind considering all frequency areas.

Kobilica jedrilice je podvodna peraja kojom se zaustavlja bočno kretanje jedrilice u najtežim uvjetima. Ona osigurava stabilnost jedrilice pri jedrenju i onemogućava prevrtanje iste. Konstrukcija se sastoji od lista i utega koji je pričvršćen za dno lista. Oplata lista ima oblik teorijski idealnog hidrauličkog profila. U kobilicu se dodatno stavljaju uzdužne ukrute koje imaju zadaću smanjenja progiba kobilice uslijed savijanja. U ovome radu detaljno se analizira ponašanje kobilice na koju djeluje protusila sili vjetra. Protusilu stvara masa utega, te se zbog toga javljaju velika opterećenja na kobilici. Promatrana jedrilica ima mogućnost uvlačenja kobilice u kutiju. Sama kutija nalazi se u sredini jedrilice. Kutija se u ovome radu ne analizira posebno, već samo kobilica u slučaju kada je do kraja izvučena iz kutije. U tom slučaju se javljaju i najveća naprezanja na mjestu spoja kobilice i kutije. Ponašanje kobilice se promatra za dvije vrste materijala. Prvi materijal je visokočvrsti čelik. Za tu vrstu materijala kobilice uspoređuju se rezultati za progibe i naprezanja na kobilici između linearne i nelinearne analize kako bi se utvrdilo je li ponašanje kobilice za zadano opterećenje linearno ili nelinearno. Nakon proračuna čvrstoće radi se kontrola stabilnosti kobilice zbog utvrđivanja kritičnog opterećenja koje se mora javiti da kobilica izgubi stabilnost. Druga vrsta materijala od koje se radi izvedba kobilice je kompozitni materijal. U radu se koristi stakleno-epoksidni i ugljično-epoksidni kompozitni materijal. Kod kompozitnih konstrukcija stavljaju se različito usmjereni slojevi kako bi se postigla najbolja moguća mehanička svojstva. To se radi iz razloga jer kod kompozitnog materijala mehanička svojstva jako ovise o orijentaciji vlakana. Rade se različite izvedbe kompozitne kobilice, s različitim debljinama, različitim orijentacijama i vrstama kompozitnih slojeva, sve dok se ne dobije izvedba koja zadovoljava kriterije popuštanja. Na kraju se za konačnu izvedbu vrši i kontrola stabilnosti i to za različite načine opterećivanja. Svi proračuni rade se pomoću metode konačnih elemenata u programskom paketu Abaqus. Prije same numeričke analize konstrukcije kobilice radi se verifikacija svih korištenih konačnih elemenata i numeričkih procedura na jednostavnom primjeru savijanja i izvijanja izotropne i kompozitne pravokutne ploče kako bi se utvrdilo koji konačni elementi će najbolje opisivati zadani problem i pomoću kojih će se postići što realniji rezultati. Sailboat keel is an underwater fin that has the task to stop sideways motion of the sailboat in difficult conditions. It provides stability when sailing and prevents the sailboat from overturning. The keel consists of a fin and a weight that is hitched to the bottom of the fin. The fin has the form of a theoretically ideal hydraulic profile. Longitudinal reinforcements are additionally put in the keel to provide a decrease of the displacements due to bending. In this thesis, the detailed analysis of the behavior of the sailboat keel that is exposed to the counter force of the wind force exposed is conducted. The weight creates the counter force and creates large stresses on the keel. The observed sailboat has the possibility to pull the keel in a box. The box is placed in the middle of the sailboat. This box is not going to be analyzed in this thesis, but only the keel when it’s pull out completely. In this case on the place where the keel and the box join occur the maximal stresses. The behavior of the keel is observed for two types of material. The first material is a high strength steel. For this keel material linear and nonlinear results are compared for displacements and stresses to determinate if the behavior of the keel is linear or nonlinear. After the strength analysis the stability control is performed to determinate the critical force on the keel that is needed to lose his stability. The second keel material is a composite material. In the thesis glass-epoxy and carbon-epoxy composite material are used. By composite structures the layers are putt differently orientated because the mechanical properties depend on the fiber orientation. Different ways of the layer orientations setup are performed, until the best layer setup is obtained that satisfies the failure criteria. For the final layer setup an additional stability control for different loads is performed. All calculations are performed using the numerical Finite Element Method (FEM) using the software program package Abaqus. The verification of all used finite elements and procedures have been conducted on a simple bending and buckling example of a rectangular isotropic and composite plate to determinate which elements are going to be the best in the analysis of the problem and with which their going to be obtained the best results.

Tema diplomskog rada je analiza gumenog elementa rastojnika-prigušivača pomoću metode konačnih elemenata, u svrhu dobivanja elastičnih parametara materijala gumenog elementa. U radu je opisana pojava aeolskih vibracija vodiča dalekovoda i osnovni tipovi rastojnika-prigušivača. Definirani su tipovi strukturne nelinearnosti (geometrijska, materijalna, nelinearnost uslijed kontakta). Prikazan je razvoj kontaktne mehanike, opisane su vrste kontakata i objašnjene postavke za definiranje kontakta u programskom paketu Abaqus. Objašnjene su geometrijska i materijalna nelinearnost te opisane specifičnosti jednadžbi koje se koriste u analizi hiperelastičnih materijala (gume) Za svaki tip nelinearnosti verificirani su konačni elementi usporedbom numeričkih rješenja s referentnim rješenjima. U nastavku su prikazani rezultati eksperimenta izvršenog na gumenom elementu. Napravljen je nelinearni numerički model u programskom paketu Abaqus te je opisan tijek izrade modela. Preklapanjem rezultata numeričke analize i eksperimenta dobiveni su elastični parametri materijala gumenog elementa rastojnika-prigušivača. The subject of this thesis is the analysis of the spacer-damper rubber element using the finite element method, in order to determine the rubber element elastic material parameters. The thesis describes the phenomenon of the power line aeolian vibration and basic types of spacer-dampers. Types of structural nonlinearity (geometric, material, nonlinearity due to contact) are defined through thesis. In thesis, the development of contact mechanics is shown, the types of contacts are described and the settings to define the contact in software program Abaqus are explained. The geometric and material nonlinearity are explained and the specifics of the equations used in the analysis of hyperelastic materials (rubber) are described. Each type of nonlinearity finite elements is verified by comparing the numerical and reference results. At the end of the thesis, the results of experiments performed on the rubber element are shown. The making of nonlinear numerical model has been described and then calculated in software program Abaqus. Elastic material parameters of the spacer-damper rubber element where determined through comparison of the numerical analysis and experimental results.

U radu je provedena numerička analiza steznog sustava limova transformatora pri savijanju. Nosivi okvir steznog sustava omogućuje stezanje limova jezgre transformatora čime se postiže kompaktni oblik jezgre transformatora. Tijekom operacije montaže steznog sustava preko bandaža i/ili vijaka, okvir mora podnijeti statičko opterećenje koje se javlja tijekom stezanja limova jezgre transformatora. Cilj rada je izrada numeričkog modela prema metodi konačnih elemenata u programskom paketu ANSYS kojim će se verificirati trenutni analitički proračun steznog sustava limova transformatora od strane tvrtke Končar Energetski Transformatori (KPT). Iz tog razloga, potrebno je napraviti detaljnu analizu i verifikaciju primijenjenog pristupa izrade numeričkog modela. Takav model omogućuje veću fleksibilnost prilikom simuliranja mehaničkog odziva raznih tipova opterećenja i nosive konstrukcije. Rad je podijeljen u devet cjelina. U uvodnom dijelu, ukratko je objašnjena problematika koja će se analizirati te su objašnjeni glavni dijelovi transformatora. U drugom dijelu, opisana je funkcija steznog sustava limova transformatora te nelinearno ponašanje jezgre transformatora. U trećem dijelu, objašnjena je teorija konstrukcija na elastičnoj podlozi, koja će se primjenjivati u izradi numeričkog modela. U četvrtom dijelu, ukratko je opisana metoda konačnih elemenata te su opisani 1D, 2D i 3D konačni elementi korišteni u radu. U petom dijelu, opisana je korištena inkrementalno-iterativna metoda za izračun nelinearnih analiza. U šestom dijelu, kroz pet primjera verificirani su korišteni konačni elementi te metodologija greda koje se nalaze na linearnim, odnosno nelinearnim elastičnim podlogama. U sedmom dijelu, opisan je način izrade numeričkog modela te su prikazani rezultati numeričke analize dva odabrana primjera. Preostale slučajeve opterećenje moguće je vidjeti u dokumentu u prilogu V. U osmom dijelu, prikazan je analogan numerički model, ali s primjenom 3D konačnih elemenata. Na kraju, u devetom poglavlju, izveden je zaključak o dobivenim rezultatima numeričkog modela. In this paper numerical analysis of the transformer sheet metal clamping system was implemented. Load bearing frame of clamping system allows clamping of sheet transformer core plates resulting in a compact form the core of the transformer. During the operation of the clamping mounting system via flange and / or screws, the frame must submit a static load that occurs during clamping plates transformer cores. Aim of this paper is the development of numerical finite element method model in ANSYS software package that will verify the current analytic calculation of the clamping system of transformer core sheets by the company Končar Power Transformers (KPT). For this reason, it is necessary to make a detailed analysis and verification approach applied in the preparation of the numerical model. Such a model will enable better flexibility when simulating the mechanical responses of various types of loads and load-bearing structures. The work is divided into nine sections. In the introduction, analyzed problems and main parts of the transformer are shortly explained. In the second part, function of the clamping system sheets transformers and nonlinear behavior of transformer cores is described. In the third part, theory of structures on elastic foundation, which will be applied in the development of numerical model is explained. The fourth part briefly describes the finite element method and 1D, 2D and 3D finite elements used in the work. In the fifth part, used incremental-iterative method for the calculation of non-linear analysis is described. In the sixth part, with five examples used finite elements and methodology of beams resting on linear or nonlinear elastic foundations are verified. In the seventh part, way of making the numerical model is described and results of numerical analysis of two selected examples are shown. The remaining load cases can be seen in the document attachment V. In the eighth part, analogous numerical model is shown, but with the application of 3D finite element. Finally, in the ninth chapter, a conclusion on the results of the numerical model is made.

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je numeričko određivanje krutosti gumenog zgloba rastojnika-prigušivača. Rastojnici-prigušivači služe za održavanje razmaka između vodiča dalekovoda te za prigušenje aeolskih vibracija. Cilj rada je izračun konstanti krutosti gumenog zgloba rastojnika-prigušivača i kreiranje ispravnog numeričkog modela koji može prikazati dovoljno točan odziv za proizvoljnu dinamičku uzbudu. Analiza je izvršena numerički pomoću metode konačnih elemenata u komercijalnim programskim paketima kompanija Dassault Systèmes Abaqus 6.9-3 CAE te MSC.Software Corporation MSC SimDesigner R4 WBE CATIA V5R18 unutar sučelja Dassault Systèmes Catia P3 V5R18 SP3. Rad je podijeljen u devet dijelova. U prvom, uvodnom dijelu, ukratko je objašnjena problematika aeolskih vibracija te osnovni tipovi i način funkcioniranja rastojnika-prigušivača. Opisana je metoda ravnoteže energija te način proračuna, kao i moguće netočnosti koje se pritom javljaju. U drugom dijelu opisan je problem određivanja karakteristika krutosti te način na koji se vrše mjerenja karakteristika krutosti i prigušenja gumenog zgloba. U trećem dijelu ukratko je opisana metoda konačnih elemenata kao i 1D, 2D i 3D konačni elementi korišteni u radu. U četvrtom dijelu, uz osnovna načela mehanike kontinuuma, ukratko je opisana inkrementalno-iterativna metoda, geometrijska nelinearnost, te materijalna nelinearnost, kao i općeniti nelinearni kontaktni problem. U petom dijelu, kroz šest detaljnih primjera, verificirani su i validirani konačni elementi te metodologije za primjenu u višestruko nelinearnom kontaktnom problemu. U šestom dijelu opsežno je opisan tijek stvaranja proračunskog modela, kao i brojne iteracije, pojednostavljenja i pretpostavke u svrhu stvaranja jednostavnijeg, a dovoljno točnog modela za proračun pomoću metode konačnih elemenata. U sedmom dijelu opisan je usvojeni numerički proračunski model. Model je uspoređen s referentnim eksperimentalnim mjerenjima te je ispitana konvergencija dobivenih numeričkih rezultata. U osmom dijelu vizualno su i tablično prikazani rezultati krutosti gumenog zgloba. Također je napravljena kratka kritička usporedba proračunskih modela kreiranih u programskim paketima Abaqus i Nastran/Marc. U devetom dijelu, izveden je zaključak o dobivenim rezultatima krutosti gumenog zgloba. Istaknuta je nužnost provjere numeričkih metoda, kako kroz više numeričkih formulacija, tako i obaveznom usporedbom s eksperimentalnim mjerenjima. The subject of this thesis is a numerical analysis of the spacer damper rubber joint stiffness. Spacers dampers are used to maintain the gap between the overhead transmission lines and for damping of Aeolian vibrations. The aim of this work is to calculate the stiffness constants of the spacer damper rubber joint with the ultimate goal of creating a correct numerical model that can display sufficiently accurate response to arbitrary dynamic excitation. Analysis was carried out numerically using the finite element method in commercial software packages of company Dassault Systèmes Abaqus 6.9-3 CAE and MSC.Software Corporation MSC SimDesigner R4 CATIA V5R18 WBE inside of Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5R18 SP3 P3 interface. The work is divided into nine sections. In the first, introductory section, the Aeolian vibration problem, with basic types and way of functioning of the spacer dampers are briefly described. The energy balance method with calculation methods and possible errors that occur are also described. In the second section, the problem of determining the stiffness characteristics and the measurements of the stiffness and damping of the rubber joint are clarified. The third section briefly describes the finite element method and 1D, 2D and 3D finite elements used in the scope of work. In the fourth section, the basic principles of continuum mechanics, incremental-iterative method, geometric nonlinearity, material nonlinearity, and general nonlinear contact problem are briefly described. In the fifth section, finite elements and methodologies for use in multiple nonlinear contact problems are verified and validated through six detailed examples. In the sixth section, the course of creating the calculation model, as well as a number of iterations, simplifications and assumptions in order to create a simpler and sufficiently accurate model for the calculation using the finite element method, is extensively described. In the seventh section, the adopted numerical calculation model is presented. Model is compared to reference experimental data and examined through convergence of the obtained numerical results. In the eighth section, the visual and tabulated results of rubber joint stiffness are shown. Also, a brief critical comparison of numerical design models created in software packages Abaqus and Nastran/Marc was made. In the ninth section, the comment was made on the results of the stiffness of the rubber joint. The necessity of checking numerical methods, both through many numerical formulation, and mandatory comparison with the experimental measurements was emphasized.

Tema ovog diplomskog rada je računalna dinamika deformabilnih tijela s primjenom u dinamici sustava više tijela. Cilj rada je provesti računalnu analizu dinamičkog odziva sustava deformabilnih tijela korištenjem metode konačnih elemenata izvedenih teorijom velikih pomaka i metodom dinamike sustava više tijela koja uključuje reducirane modele pojedinih deformabilnih članova sustava. Analiza je izvršena numerički na primjeru mehanizma s tri grede pomoću metode konačnih elemenata u komercijalnog programskom paketu Abaqus i pomoću metode dinamike sustava više tijela u komercijalnom programskom paketu Adams. Rad je podijeljen na pet poglavlja i tri dodatka. U prvom, uvodnom poglavlju, ukratko je objašnjena problematika primijenjene dinamike s naglaskom na dinamiku deformabilnih sustava više tijela. U drugom poglavlju opisana je teorija vezana za računalnu dinamiku deformabilnih tijela. Dan je pregled i opis korištenih algoritama, uključujući formulaciju problema dinamike deformabilnih tijela i metode redukcije reda modela pojedinih članova sustava. U trećem poglavlju ukratko su opisani korišteni, komercijalno dostupni, programski paketi Abaqus i Adams. U četvrtom poglavlju provedena je numerička analiza dinamičkog odziva mehanizma s tri grede koje su modelirane kao deformabilne. Grede diskretizirane konačnim elementima korištene su u programskom paketu Abaqus te u programskom paketu Adams kao reducirani modeli. U petom poglavlju ovoga rada dan je kratak osvrt na problematiku primijenjene računalne dinamike te je izveden zaključak o dobivenim rezultatima računalne analize. U posljednja tri poglavlja, odnosno dodatka, ukratko je dan pregled osnovnih izraza mehanike kontinuuma, modeliranja prigušenja i frekvencijske analize. The subject of this thesis is computer dynamics of deformable bodies with application in multibody dynamics. The aim of this work is to carry out computer analysis of dynamic response of deformable body system using a large displacement finite element method and multibody system method which includes reduced models of individual deformable body. Analysis was carried out numerically on example of three bar mechanism using finite element method in commercial software package Abaqus and using multibody dynamics method in commercial software package Adams. The work is divided into five chapters and three appendices. In the first, introductory chapter, issues of applied dynamics is briefly explained with a focus on flexible multibody dynamics. In the second chapter, theory regarding computer dynamics of flexible bodies is described. An overview and explanation of used algorithms is given, including formulation of flexible body dynamics problem and methods used to reduce model order of individual system members. The third section briefly describes used, commercially available, software packages Abaqus and Adams. In the fourth chapter numerical analysis of dynamic response of three bar mechanism is carried out. Bars modeled as flexible bodies and discretized with finite elements are used in software package Abaqus and as reduced models in software package Adams. In the fifth chapter of this paper a brief review is given together with the conclusion on the results of numerical analysis. In the last three chapters, appendices, an overview of fundamental expressions in continuum mechanics, modeling of damping and frequency analysis is given.

U ovome je radu istraživan utjecaj različitih vrsta bočnih međupridržanja na otpornost vitkih nosača na bočno-torzijsko izvijanje. Naime, u novoj su normi EN 1993-1-1, na tome području uvedene neke novine i preciznija tumačenja uvjeta bočnih pridržanja nego je to bio slučaj s prednormama [2]. Istraživanja su provedena na saćastim nosačima kao primjeru skupine vitkih nosača osjetljivih na bočno-torzijsko izvijanje, a razmatrane su tri najčešće vrste bočnim međupridržanja - pridržanje samo tlačne pojasnice, pridržanje nosača u 1/5 visine, te pridržanja obje pojasnice. Za odabrane nosače je provedena elastična buckling analiza za određivanje elastičnog kritičnog momenta Mcr, te potom i nelinearna statička analiza s materijalnom i geometrijskom nelinearnošću. Kako se u kodificiranom proračunu kritični moment može odrediti samo za slučaj bočno-torzijskih pridržanja (zglobnih ili određenog stupnja upetih), rezultati provedenih proračuna pokazuju da je potrebno obratiti veliku pozornost na pravilno interpretiranje rubnih uvjeta modela zbog njihovog velikog utjecaja na rezultate proračuna., Influence of the different types of lateral discrete restraints on lateral-buckling resistance of slender steel beams are analyzed in this paper. For this particular problem, comparing to prestandards, new code for the design of steel structures, EN 1993-1-1, introduces modifications and detailed explanation of design methods . Investigations are performed on the slender castellated beams and three types of lateral restraints are considered: discrete restraint of the compression flange only, discrete restraint of the member in point on 1/5 of their height and discrete restraint of both flanges. For selected beams the ideal elastic critical buckling moment Mcr is determined first, using linear eigenvalue buckling analysis, and then nonlinear static analysis is performed (with geometrical and material nonlinearity). In the codified expression for the evaluation of critical buckling moment one can simulate only lateral-torsion restraints (pinned or some level of fixed conditions), so results in this paper show that correct interpretation of the lateral restraints are very important from the aspects of design accuracy.

Prikazani su rezultati proračuna utjecaja veličine zidnog nosača bez armature za preuzimanje posmićnih naprezanja na njegovu nosivost i duktilnost. Primijenjen je program za nelinearni proračun betonskih konstrukcija temeljen na metodi konačnih elemenata. Proračun je proveden za tri različita postotka armiranja na savijanje i pokazuje da se povećanjem dimenzija smanjuje nominalna nosivost i duktilnost. Ističe se da za inženjersku praksu pad nominalne nosivosti nije značajan., Results obtained by determining, through shear stress analysis, the influence of size of wall girders without reinforcement on their bearing capacity and ductility are presented. The program for non-linear analysis of concrete structures, based on the finite-element method, was used. The analysis was conducted for three different percentages of reinforcement aimed at countering the bending action. This analysis has shown that the nominal bearing capacity and ductility reduce with the increase in size. It is stressed that this reduction of nominal capacity is not significant for engineering practice.

Prikazani su rezultati teorijskog istraživanja seizmičkih spona, koje su najduktilniji elemenati sustava okvira s ekscentričnim dijagonalama. Provedeno je numeričko modeliranje metodom konačnih elemenata. Dobiveni su rezultati na temelju kojih je na probabilističkoj razini istražena veličina indeksa pouzdanosti ß u odnosu na njegovu ciljanu vrijednost za klasu konstrukcija RC2. Pokazano je da se za seizmičku sponu s tri para ukrućenja dobiva najpovoljniji indeks pouzdanosti., Results obtained by the theoretical study of seismic links, which are the most ductile elements of frame systems with eccentric diagonals, are presented. Numerical modelling was conducted by means of the finite element method. The results obtained were used to determine, on the probabilistic level, the reliability index value ß as related to its target value for the structural class RC2. It was demonstrated that the reliability index is the most favourable for the seismic link with three pairs of bracing.

U članku su prikazani i raspravljeni rezultati numeričke studije o proračunu prearmiranih betonskih greda. U studiji je primijenjen program MASA za trodimenzijski nelinearni proračun prearmiranih betonskih greda metodom konačnih elemenata. Neovisno od proračuna u studiji i tako dobivenih rezultata provedena su eksperimentalna istraživanja za iste tipove greda. U ovom radu je pokazano da se rezultati provedenih proračuna dobro slažu s rezultatima eksperimentalnih istraživanja., Results of the numerical study about the analysis of overreinforced concrete girders are presented and discussed in the paper. The MASA program for the tree-dimensional nonlinear analysis of prereinforced concrete girders by finite element method is applied in the study. An another experimental study, independent from the above analysis and its results, was conducted for similar girder types. The authors have established that there is a good correspondence of results between the above analysis and the independent experimental study.

U ovom se radu opisuje nelinearna numerička simulacija ponašanja laboratorijskih uzoraka zavarenih priključaka nosač-stup provedena metodom konačnih elementa. Uspoređeni su rezultati te simulacije s onim što je dobiveno laboratorijskim ispitivanjima. Istaknuta je vrlo dobra usklađenost dobivenih rezultata sve do područja izrazite nelinearnosti. Preporučena je potreba detaljnog laboratorijskog ispitivanja mehaničke karakteristike vara, što bi trebalo uvrstiti u numerički model., The nonlinear numerical simulation has been conducted by the finite-element method to determine behaviour of laboratory samples of welded girder-pier connections. The results obtained by this simulation have been compared with laboratory testing results. A very good correspondence of results has been established until the zone of high nonlinearity. A more detailed laboratory testing of mechanical properties of the weld is recommended, and the results of this additional testing should be included in the numerical model.

U radu je prikazan način modeliranja popustljivih veza za nelinearnu analizu drvenih okvirnih konstrukcija. Predloženi numerički model baziran je na konceptu ograničene nelinearnosti, s mogućnošću lakog prikazivanja rezultata ponašanja veza koje treba odrediti ispitivanjima. Ističe se da primjena ovakvog numeričkog modela popustljivih veza uz povezivanje sa rezultatima ispitivanja, daje mogućnost cjelovite analize drvene konstrukcije kao kombinacije analize konstrukcije i veza., The methodology of modeling yielding links for the nonlinear analysis of wooden frame structures is presented. The numerical model proposed in the paper is based on the concept of limited nonlinearity, and is characterized by easy presentation of link behavior results to be determined by testing. It is emphasized that the use of this numerical model of yielding links, combined with test results, enables an overall analysis of wooden structures, by combining the analysis of the structure with that of the links.

Opisane su metoda postupnog guranja (Pushover Analysis) i metoda spektra kapaciteta (Capacity Spectrum Method) koje se primjenjuju u seizmičkoj procjeni postojećih i novih zgrada. Nelinearnim statičkim proračunom dobiva se krivulja kapaciteta konstrukcije, a zahtjev potresa predstavljen je spektrima ubrzanja. Obje krivulje su u formatu spektralno ubrzanje - spektralni pomak. Usporedba kapaciteta konstrukcije i zahtjeva potresa daje podatke o mogućem odgovoru konstrukcije na potres., Two methods that are used in the seismic evaluation of existing and new buildings, i.e. the pushover analysis and the capacity spectrum method, are described. The capacity curve for structures is obtained by nonlinear static analysis, and the earthquake demand is represented through acceleration spectra. Both curves are in the spectral acceleration - spectral displacement format. The comparison of structural capacity and earthquake demand provides an answer about possible response of structures to earthquake action.
