Korišteni su testovi za procjenu grube i fine motorike: „Test of Gross Motor Development-2“ (TGMD-2) i dio testa „Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency-2“ (BOT-2). Budući da je razvoj grubih motoričkih znanja u dobi od 7 godina uglavnom dostigao svoju zrelu fazu razvoja, dok se razvoj fine motorike još uvijek intenzivno razvija, daljnja istraživanja na ovu temu trebala bi ciljati na odgovaranje pitanja zavisnosti ove dvije manifestacije znanja u sljedećim godinama rasta i razvoja., The main aim of this research was to determine the possible connection between fine and gross motor skills in girls gymnasts of preschool and early school age. The research was conducted on a sample of 30 gymnasts with an average age of 7 years from two clubs in Split. Tests that were used to assess gross and fine motor skills: "Test of Gross Motor Development-2" (TGMD-2) and part of the test "Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency-2" (BOT-2). The results showed that there is a significant correlation between different gross and fine motor skills in girls gymnasts of preschool and early school age, as well as a statistically significant impact of fine motor skills on the level of locomotor and object manipulation skills. The skill of ambidexterity has a partially significant influence on the manipulation skills. Since the development of gross motor skills at the age of 7 has mostly reached its mature stage of development, while the development of fine motor skills is still intensively developing, further research on this topic should aim to answer the question of the dependence of these two manifestations of skills during growth and development.
