Tema za završni rad je mjerenje brzine automobila pomoću senzora i CAN Bus komunikacije. Prije samog početka, potrebno je upoznati se sa svim komponentama i njihovim ulogama. Controller Area Network (CAN) je komunikacijski protokol za povezivanje elektroničkih uređaja, a komunikacija se odvija preko sabirnice na kojoj mogu biti dvije razine signala i to CANH i CANL s brzinama do 1Mb/s. Zbog svoje pouzdanosti, učinkovitosti i jednostavnosti postao je standardni protokol za korištenje u indust riji, a pogotovo u automobilskoj. Sklop je upravljan s dva Arduino Nano mikrokontrolera koji obrađuju podatke te primaju i šalju informacije preko CAN Bus kontrolera. Za informaciju se koristila brzina vrtnje koja se na kraju pokazivala na LCD ekranu u kilometrima po satu (km/h)., The subject of this undergraduate thesis is car speed measurement using sensors and CAN bus communication. Before starting, it is necessary to get acquainted with all components and their roles. Controller Area Network (CAN) is a communication protocol for connecting electronic devices, and communication takes place via serial bus on which there can be two signal levels, namely CANH and CANL with speeds up to 1Mb/s. Due to its reliability, efficiency and simplicity, it has become a standard protocol for use in the industry, especially in the automotive industry. The assembly is controlled by two Arduino Nano microcontrollers that process data and receive and send information via the CAN Bus controller. For that information, the rotation speed was used, which was finally displayed on the LCD screen in kilometers per hour (km/h).
