In this thesis, it was necessary to find various literature dealing with the topic of voltage regulation using a wind farm network. Each of them is briefly described and compared with each other. After that, wind turbines and energy conversion processes in them are described. All types of wind turbines are mentioned, but the emphasis is placed on wind turbines where voltage control is possible - Type 3 and Type 4. Models of these two wind turbines and their power capability curves are presented and described. The next chapter provides an overview of the two existing wind farms - one offshore located in the Netherlands and one onshore in Croatia. Their configurations and a brief description of the substations and cables used in these wind farms are shown. In addition to the existing ones, one self-configured wind farm is established with a detailed description of the wind turbines, substations, and cables used in the configuration. At the end of the theoretical part, a test model of the wind farm was conducted in PowerWorld Simulator 22. Based on the theoretical part and the simulation evidence, a conclusion was made about the possibility of voltage control using a wind farm.
