The paper has shown the quantitative indicators of the quality of computation system (reliability, avaliability, safety and system out of order) which are used in the survey, control and organization of seaborne traffic. They could appear as an element of complex marine system or an independent electronic system such as personal computer or server. The paper has discussed Markov's model of reliability and avaliability for computational system and redundant computational system. The group of differential equations has been solved in two ways : by method of Laplas transformation and by method of matrix. The results of the analysis and calculation of quantitative indicators of the quality of the computational system have been shown in the tables. In the sixth chapter, the measures have been proposed which could improve reliability and avaliability of the computational system. Qualitative functioning of the computational system will enable more reliable, efficient and safer marine process, efficient support in decision making at all levels of management : survey,control and organization of seaborne traffic.
