This paper presents a qualitative study on the organic discourse from the perspectives of consumers in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the paper is to identify partial discourses among consumers in the Czech Republic within the framework of a communication “concourse” on organic farming as one of the sustainable initiatives within the context of the Organic 3.0 concept. The paper is based on Q methodology with 44 final statements which represent current respondents’ discourses (perspectives) on the organic sector. Results reveal that Czech organic consumers could be divided into 3 specific groups – “Convinced organic globalists”, “Modest organic localists” and “Convinced organic rationalists”. The first group of consumers is convinced of the importance of organic farming at a global level and they emphasise the global economic importance of organic farming. The second group are protagonists of organic farming, despite seeing its shortcomings. In the terms of preferences, they rather prefer local food with regard to sustainability than organic food. The third group is characterised by a rationally economic view of organic farming. They see the barrier to further expansion of organic farming in economic factors, such as the price of organic food. The identified barriers of economic rationality and competition of local production are challenges to the future development of the organic sector and its position among other sustainable initiatives. The results also provide better insights into Czech organic consumers’ discourse and their perception of the Organic 3.0 concept.

- Abstract
This paper analyses one of the basic consumer's rights in the Union - the right to be informed, and in the context of the new regulation on housing loans - Directive 2014/17. With its content, Directive 2014/17 regulates key issues of housing (mortgage) lending, and in particular: the consumer's right to be informed, credit risk management, foreign currency lending and uniform rules of calculating the effective interest rate. As a light motive of the Directive, the consumer's right to be informed is pointed out in different stages of the credit relations. At the same time, critics of the Directive are in particular focused on the so-called information overload effect. To that extent, this paper seeks to examine the consequences of the "too-informed" consumers, and risk in decision-making in credit relations based on the quantity of information provided. Using normative method, the author tries to show the consumer the right to be informed in a broader sense: analyzing the contribution to the consumers protection - as users of housing loans, as well as the possibility of negative impact of extremely broad spectrum of information that is presented to the consumers in terms of Directive 2014/17. The final part of the work shows the possible parallels with the regulations on the protection of consumers of financial services in the B&H entities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present consumer protection in Croatia with special emphasis on distance and off-premises contracts. The focus in this paper is on a rather narrow, but extremely important field of consumer protection. Namely, it depicts situations in which consumer is unprepared and unable to reconsider a purchase of a certain product or service. In the first part of the paper a brief overview of the development of consumer protection in Croatia is presented, from the Stabilization and Association Agreement in 2001 until the present. Then, in the second part of the paper novelties which were brought to the "new" Consumer protection Act by the implementation of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, in the manner that regulation of distance contracts are presented prior to the regulation of off-premises contracts. In the third part of the paper establishment of out-ofcourt resolution of consumer disputes according to Directive on alternative dispute resolution for consumer disputes (Directive on consumer ADR)1 and Regulation on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes (Regulation on consumer ODR)1 are presented. The topic o f the enforcement o f the property o f the natural person who is an individual debtor is only a part o f a broader subject matter that rattles global economy burdened with problems. The need for the institute ofpersonal insolvency exists, and it is emphasised by the economic reality in which an increasing number o f over-indebted subjects who are not able to pay their debt, so their very existence is frequently threatened. Apart from numerous psychological and social repercussions, the consequence o f this is an additional burden for the state budget through the obligations o f social welfare. The purpose o f this paper is to analyse this problem theoretically and empirically, setting postulates that will be applicable in the implementation o f the solutions from the Draft (2014) into the legal order o f the Republic o f Croatia. Namely, in the times o f recession, the number o f blocked citizens and their unsettled obligations are significantly higher than in the period o f economic prosperity. One o f the reasons is to examine whether general economic situation affects the trend of the overall number o f blocked citizens and their unsettled obligations. By the application o f multiple regression method on the data about the overall number o f blocked Croatian citizens and their unsettled obligations, a significant influence o f the growth of unemployment, change o f the foreign currency exchange and the drop o f approved loans on the increase in the number o f blocked citizens and their unsettled obligations was recognised. The results also show that the increase o f the number o f blocked citizens and their unsettled obligations influences the reduction o f loan approvals, i.e. the banks are reducing the loan offer because o f the increase o f riskiness o f repayment due to deteriorated conditions in the macroeconomic environment. Thus more indebted citizens can find themselves in the situation in which they cannot pay due obligations and cannot refinance them, which additionally influences the increase in the number of insolvent persons. Due to more and more stringent environmental regulations, the automotive industry is increasingly turning to the production of electric cars. The rate of their introduction onto the market will be influenced by the opinion of potential buyers. In our research, consumers' views on electric cars in Slovenia, which influence the purchase probability of their buyers' decisions, were investigated. A quantitative research method and an online survey were used. The analysis of the obtained results established the understanding of electric cars among potential consumers and what expectations they have of them, assessed the importance of various features of such cars and determined which ones are more or less important to consumers when buying something. The paper studied how long consumers plan to make a purchase and determined their views on the overall environmental impact of electric cars compared to conventional fossil fuel cars.

Purpose – In order to anticipate satisfaction with a retail store and its offer, it is crucial to consider whether the store fulfils the expectations of different consumer fragments with regard to store attributes. The main goal of this paper was to identify different consumer segments in accordance with their level of satisfaction with various retail store elements and to define the profile of each segment. Design/Methodology/Approach – An empirical study was conducted on 500 Croatian consumers, applying convenience sample through highly structured questionnaire. Using factor analysis, statements were divided into five meaningful dimensions (product assortment, price, store atmosphere, retail store quality and retail service quality). These factors were used as indicators for the latent class analysis. Findings and implications – The findings have indicated an optimal solution of five consumer segments with different level of satisfaction. Each of the identified segments (convenience-oriented, disinterested, assortment-oriented, price-sensitive and grey consumers) is described in terms of socio-demographic and behavioural variables. This research provides insight into the factors that influence customer satisfaction. It also helps retail managers develop appropriate strategies to approach different consumer segments and improve their satisfaction. Limitations – The research was undertaken in a single Croatian county, which can limit the generalisation of the findings. Another limitation refers to the use of factor results instead of the original list of items in the analysis of segments. Originality – This study contributes to existing literature by providing useful insights into different consumer segments based on their level of satisfaction with retail store context in Croatian food retailing. Practical directions to target specific consumer segments more efficiently are proposed. As far as we know, no other studies have merged consumer segmentation and the latent class analysis in the context of the Croatian retail market.

brand ,private brand ,consumers ,R-Time ,Bosnia and Herzegovina ,Business ,HF5001-6182 - Abstract
In modern consumer society, consumers become all the more demanding with the right to possess the final statement on selection of a product, and thus the role of a brand as a means of communication is the key, since brands are powerful enough to attract and keep a consumer. Consumers create a relationship with a brand based on quality guarantee and positive experience. The main purpose of this paper is to explore determinants influencing consumer’s loyalty towards a private brand. The research is based on private brand R-Time owned by the trade chain Robot. Data were collected through a field survey, and the sample consisted of 439 respondents. Data were analyzed using SEM analysis. The results of the survey show that the determinants of price and quality perception affect consumers' loyalty towards a product of the private brand RTime, whereas there is no difference among tested ethnocentric and non-ethnocentric group of consumers. Building on our results, retailers are encouraged to scrutinize both price and quality perception of their own brands, in order to build long-term consumerbrand loyalty. The novelty and value of this research is reflected in the fact that the given results confirm that the size of the effect of price and quality perception on private brand loyalty among ethnocentric and non-ethnocentric consumers is not significant, so there is no need for retailers to focus on highlighting the brand’s domestic origins. The main limitations of the study are related to data collection process, in terms of geographical coverage and product category. These limitations constitute areas for future research.

The loyalty programs are often part of a comprehensive strategy for customer relationship and provide a good way to identify and maintain customers with greater value than others. The main objective of this paper is to show the role of loyalty programs affecting customer satisfaction in retail. The purpose of the empirical research was to discover the effects of loyalty programs on customer satisfaction. Research has shown (N= 53) that the loyalty program is not the determinating factor. All other examined factors such as product range, price, locationof the store and customers relationship proved to be the more relevant for consumer satisfaction.
