The effect of weave and density on the shrinkage of fabric was studied. It was found that the longer the floating line, the more the weave shrinkage rate. When the material and weave were the same, both the warp and weft shrinkages increase with the increase of warp density. For the same sample, when the weft density was greater than the warp density, the weft shrinkage rate was greater than the weft shrinkage rate and vice versa. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Different raw material, yarn arrangement and basic texture were selected to design and weave two-layer wool fabric by inside warp stitching outside weft in this paper. The results show that; the surface of fabric was full and massive while the inner layer had the characteristics of the cotton fabric which the surface and inner layer was wool and cotton respectively. The surface of fabric had vertical stripes and horizontal stripes collocation effect and inner had the collocation of transverse stripe effect which the yarn arrangement of the surface and inner layer was different. Seacell modified viscose fiber is a biodegradable, environmentally-friendly fiber. Most of it is viscose matrix. It has many excellent performances such as high moisture absorption, antibacterial and deodorizing properties, fire-retardant, antieletrostatic properties, electromagnetic shielding, health properties, gelation and so on. After simple introducd the preparation of the seacell modified viscose fiber, we test the performance of the seacell modified viscose yarn, and weave out several different fabrics. In the laboratory of the school, we examine the permeability, wicking, abrasion resistance, rigidity, wrinkle flexibility and the surface friction performance of the fabric samples. Then we make some comparative analysis. it can be concluded that the seacell modified viscose fabrics are with good air permeability, strong moisture absorption, soft hand and better gloss.
