The digital bandpass filter in frequency domain plays a key role in Fourier transformation profilometry (FTP). Considering the variations of optical geometry and relevant parameters in FTP, an automatic selection method for parameters of bandpass filter in FTP is presented in this paper. In the proposed method, with only one frame of deformed fringe pattern, numerical differentiation is applied to the Fourier frequency spectrum of the deformed fringe pattern in FTP, in order to find roughly the initial center position of base frequency; next, image histogram and threshold segmentation techniques are used to process the Fourier frequency spectrum to automatically and accurately obtain the center frequency and bandwidth of the bandpass filter, so to realize the automatic processing of frequency filtering. The proposed method can automatically adapt to the variations of optical geometry and relevant parameters in FTP, can make the FTP produce its advantage in dynamic measure, and it will find wide application in engineering. The machining quality of fiber reinforced plastics specimens directly affects the accuracy and dispersion of their mechanical property test results. Due to the limitation of traditional characterization methods, it is difficult to get a more realistic feedback of the machining quality. This paper investigates the machining quality of FRP specimens by using a multi-scale characterization method combining macroscopic, mesoscopic and microscopic methods based on 3D optical surface profilometer and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the multi-scale characterization method can compensate the limitations of the traditional method in terms of measurement accuracy and dispersion of results, the dispersion coefficient of measurements is reduced by more than 67%. The dispersion coefficient of the three-dimensional surface roughness Sa value is reduced by more than 50% compared with that of the conventional two-dimensional surface roughness Ra value. Combined with traditional and multi-scale characterization methods, the processing quality of FRP samples can be evaluated more objectively and comprehensively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

CF/PEEK composites were prepared by vacuum hot pressing sintering technology. The thermal properties of the materials were tested by thermal conductivity analyzer and TG tester. Multifunctional friction and wear testing machine, 3D morphology profilometer, scanning electron microscope and friction electrometer were used to analyze the friction and wear properties and anti-friction electrostatic properties of the materials. The results show that with the increase of the forming temperature, the friction coefficient and wear rate of the materials decrease gradually. With the increase of CF contents, the friction coefficient, wear rate and friction electrostatic voltage decrease first and then increase. When the CF content is as 20%, the friction coefficient, wear rate and friction electrostatic voltage reach the lowest values, which are as 0.247, 5.6 x 106 mm/(N ⋅ m) and 3.3 V, respectively. Friction and electrostatic data show that the CF/PEEK materials prepared by this method have better friction properties and anti-electrostatic properties than that of commercial composites. In order to explore the high temperature performance of Cr2O3/8YSZ composite coating, four kinds of Cr2O3/8YSZ composite coatings were prepared on the surface of Q235 steel by using the plasma spraying technology (the content of 8YSZ is 50%, 30%, 20% and 0%, respectively). The morphology of the coating was characterized through thermal field emission scanning electron microscopy, and the distribution of elements in the section of the coating was scanned by using EDS line. The phase composition of the composite coating was analyzed by using X-ray diffractometer, and the surface roughness of the composite coating was measured by using surface profilometer. The microhardness of the coating was measured by using automatic micro-Vickers hardness tester, and the scratch resistance of the coating was compared by using scratch tester. The thermal shock resistance of the coating was tested in Gleeble-3800 thermal physical simulator, and the cross section morphology after thermal shock was observed and analyzed. The results show that when the ratio of Cr2O3 to 8YSZ is 7∶3, the sample coating has good thermal shock resistance due to the deflection effect of 8YSZ on the vertical cracks and the thermal stress release effect of the pores and cracks in the coating.

Combined with sizing and two-dimensional knitting technology，continuous alumina fiber sewing threads with partial covering structures of F-3，F-4 and F-5 were prepared，and the effect of covering structure on the wear behavior between sewing threads and pinholes was studied by using a self-developed experimental device. The contour appearance of sewing threads with different coating structures and the damage morphology evolution under friction were characterized by 3D profilometer. Through the tensile tests，the strength retention rate of sewing thread under different rubbing times was characterized. The wear performance of sewing thread under different experimental parameters was evaluated by the number of wear breaks. The results show that the change of coating process parameters affects the fluctuation state of sewing thread surface profile，which leads to the increase of hairiness length after wear with the increase of coating yarn number and knitting pitch. Compared with the original yarn and sizing yarn，the wear resistance of sewing thread is significantly improved. With the increase of rubbing times，the strength retention rate of sewing thread shows a rapid decline and then tends to be flat. When rubbing times reach 30 times，the strength retention rates of F-3，F-4 and F-5 sewing threads are 12.89%，28.82% and 18.35% respectively. With the increases of friction distance and yarn tension and the decrease of friction angle，the number of wear-out of sewing thread decreases gradually.

Titanium alloys have broad application prospects.In order to improve the forming quality and wear resistance of titanium alloys,selective laser melting (SLM) technology was used to prepare TC4 alloys,and the TC4 alloys were further modified by adding different contents(0, 0.10%, 0.15%, 0.20%, 0.25%) CeO2.Subsequently, XRD, SEM, electronic universal testing machine, friction and wear testing machine and three-dimensional optical profilometer were used to explore the effect of CeO2 content on the microstructure, phase composition,mechanical properties and friction and wear properties of TC4 alloy.Results showed that compared to the original TC4 alloy, the TC4 alloy obtained by selective laser melting technology with adding an appropriate amount of CeO2 possessed refined structure, strong mechanical propensities, low friction coefficient and wear amount and weak effects of adhesive wear and abrasive wear.When the CeO2 content was 0.15%,the hardness of the as-obtained sample reached 356.8 HV, the yield and tensile strengths reached 1 027 MPa and 1 293 MPa, far exceeding the level of forgings.Meanwhile, the average friction coefficient and wear amount reached the lowest values, which were 0.412 and 3.729×10－2 mm3, respectively, and the wear mechanisms were slight adhesive and abrasive wear.

In order to identify the harmonic source of grinding surface of angular contact ball bearing raceway, a spectrum analysis method based on wavelet decomposition and reconstruction was proposed, which was combined with the power spectral density (PSD) and correlation analysis. Firstly, the actual profile information of 7006 C inner raceway in grinding test was collected by using surface profilometer based on wavelet decomposition and decomposed into 5 layers using “db5” wavelet basis, according to the roundness error, waviness and surface roughness demarcation index, the 5 layers of decomposition signals were reconstructed into low, medium and high frequency signals. Then, the reconstructed frequency bands were analyzed by the Power Spectral Density method (PSD), and the frequency characteristics of the main harmonic sources were identified. Finally, the frequency of error source was extracted, and the correlation between error source and machined surface harmonic was analyzed. The results show that, comparing with the unbalance of the motor rotor, the half-speed vortex of the oil film and the improper adjustment of the electromagnetic centerless fixture, the vibration of the grinding wheel spindle account for a larger proportion of the surface harmonics of the 7006C inner raceway processed by the grinding test. This method can be used as a supplement to the method of finding harmonic sources and comparing the correlation degree of harmonic sources in raceway grinding of angular contact ball bearings. In order to improve the anti-wear performance of edible soybean oil (SO) as lubricant, a modified soybean oil (MSO) was synthesized in a mild reaction environment by using enzyme Novozym435 as catalyst to carry out the epoxidation of unsaturated fatty acids in SO with methanol. The structure was characterized by infrared and Raman spectrometers, the thermal oxidation stability was investigated by synchronous thermal analyzer TG-DSC, and the friction and wear performance of MSO was investigated on a four-ball machine. The scanning electron microscope, three-dimensional surface profilometer, and Raman spectroscopy were used to analyze the micro-morphology and composition changes of the frictional spot surface. The results show that the acid value and iodine value of modified soybean oil decrease significantly, the saturated fatty acid content increases, and the thermal oxidation stability is enhanced. The anti-wear performance of MSO is significantly improved, the spot diameter decreases by 25.56%, and the wear volume decreases by 54.18%.The excellent wear resistance of MSO is mainly related to the content of saturated fatty acid, the excellent thermal oxidation stability and the ordered lubrication film formed on the wear surface.Due to the improvement of its thermal oxidation performance,the action time of the formed orderly lubrication film in the lubrication process is greatly increased,so as to more effectively resist the wear in the friction process. In order to study the effect of stresses on the friction and wear properties of self-lubricating spherical plain bearings，the self-lubricating spherical bearings EN2584R12 was taken full life cycle tests under 50%，100% and 150% standard stresses conditions at room temperature according to SAE AS 81820. And the static stress tests of the flat samples with the liner were carried out. The deformation of the liner after static stresses were observed by using three-dimensional white light interference profilometer and optical microscopy. Stereo microscope，optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy were used to observe the wear morphology and debris morphology of the inner and outer rings after full life swing wear under different stresses. Results show that the self-lubricating liners under three stresses have been worn through，the wear characteristics and friction coefficients of self-lubricating liners under three stresses have no significant difference. As the pressure increases，it is found the temperatures of the bearing surface are higher，the debris are darker and larger，the instability period become earlier，the liner is damaged more quickly. Different stresses have significant effects on the life of bearings. The oscillating wear life under low and medium stress conditions is increased to 17.95 times and 7.86 times compared to high stress conditions，respectively. The wear mechanisms under three stresses are the mixed wear of abrasive wear and adhesive wear. The adhesive wear in the direct pressuring zone increases with the increase of stress，while the abrasive wear in the non-direct pressuring zone decreases with the increase of stress.

The thermal control coating was prepared on the surface of LAZ933 magnesium-lithium alloy by micro-arc oxidation technology. The effects of oxidation time on the surface morphology, composition, thickness, roughness, thermal control and corrosion resistance of the coating were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometer, surface profilometer, thickness gauge and other instruments. Results showed that as the oxidation time gradually prolonged, the number of pores on the coating surface gradually decreased, the pore size gradually rose with the emergence of microcracks, and the thickness and roughness of the coating gradually were raised. Meanwhile, the hemispherical emissivity gradually increased, the solar absorption ratio declined, and the corrosion resistance was improved. When the oxidation time was 60 min, the as-obtained coating possessed the hemispherical emissivity of 0.85 and the solar absorption rate of 0.38, and the self-corrosion current density was an order of magnitude lower than that of LAZ933 magnesium-lithium alloy.

In order to explore the corrosion resistance of different structures in the weld zone of R60702 laser welded joints under different welding processes (Process 1: laser power 1 600 W，welding speed 1 600 mm/min，linear energy 60 J/mm，gas flow 20 L/min，defocus amount 0 mm；Process 2: laser power 1 800 W，welding speed 1 200 mm/min，linear energy 90 J/mm，gas flow 20 L/min，defocus amount 0 mm)，metallurgical microscope (OM)，X-ray diffractometer (XRD)，electrochemical tester，scanning electron microscope (SEM)，threedimensional profilometer and energy spectroscopy (EDS) were used to analyze the metallographic structure，phase composition，corrosion resistance and its mechanism，corrosion morphology and elemental composition of corrosion products.Results showed that the weld zone exhibited different microstructures under two welding processes.Under the condition of process 1，the weld zone was a mixture of basket-like structure and a small amount (26.7%) of parallel lath-like Widmanstatten structure.Under the condition of process 2，the weld area displayed a typical Widmanstatten structure.After being immersed and corroded in 20%sulfuric acid at 100 ℃for 72 h，the mixed structure welds showed galvanic corrosion，and the parallel lath Widmanstatten structure welds showed uniform corrosion.In addition，the parallel lath Widmanstatten structure welds had better corrosion resistance.The inhomogeneity of the microstructure of the mixed-structure weld created a potential difference，which caused the oxide film to rupture due to galvanic corrosion，and so the mixed structure held the poorer corrosion resistance.On the contrary，the parallel lath Widmanstatten structure weld had good electrochemical uniformity and no significant difference in self-corrosion potential，which was beneficial to inhibit galvanic corrosion.

Due to the complexity of soil and straw properties and the interactions among soil, straw and tillage tools, specific straw incorporating implements were designed and developed for particular working conditions. Different types of rotary tillers that adapted to different field states were produced in the last decades for straw burial. However, past efforts of assessment on rotary tillers were focused mainly on their soil working performances. Seldom has been done to assess the performance of rotary tillers and their effect on both soil disturbance and straw distribution in the tilled soil layer. A field experiment was thus conducted to compare the performances of rotary tillers on mediating soil and straw after rice harvesting. A mini-power rotor tiller was run on a platform developed for in-situ tillage test. Soil surface and micro-relief was measured with profilometer. Straw distribution was measured with a three-dimension coordinate tester. The measured results were transferred to Pro-E software, in which the measured data of straw distribution in soil were modeled and assessed. It was found that down-cut rotary tillage resulted into a gently humped soil surface over the tilled region, whereas the up-cut treatment led to a sink of soil surface in the mid region and the ridges along two sides of the tilled plot. Severe humping of fragmented soil was also observed in the up-cut tillage. It was therefore concluded that, for min-power rotor tillers in paddy field, the down-cut tillage provided better surface micro-relief than the up-cut. A higher percentage of buried straw, 88.91%, was acquired with the down-cut tilling. But it was low for the up-cut, which was 83.26%. The heaping-up of straw was also severe in the up-cut treatment, which was 33.02%, 8.19% higher than that from the down-cut. This indicated that the down-cut was more preferable for mini-power rotor tiller design compared with the up-cut. Analysis on the sectioned regions with the Pro-E revealed more straw concentration in the 5-10 cm soil layer for the down-cut tillage, while the up-cut treatment provided a more evenly distribution of straw in the soil volume. The modeled straw distribution in soil volume was sectioned into the grids at 3 different scales, and the total length of straw under the down-cut tillage revealed the smaller coefficient of variations (P<0.05). The up-cut tilling did prove its benefits, such as enhancing soil fragmentation and a highly leveled soil surface within the treated area. But the soil and straw heaping ahead of the machine was a main constraint for its adaptation to the paddy soil. Designing and developing of mini-rotor tillers for improving the performance of proper handling the soil and straw requires further investigation on the system optimization of soil structure, straw, tool geometry and working parameters. In this paper, nano-Al2O3 was added to soybean oil to improve its anti-wear and anti-friction properties, and the effects of four different dispersants on the suspension stability of nano-Al2O3 in soybean oil were compared. Using HRS-2M high speed reciprocating friction tester, the anti-wear and anti-friction effects of Al2O3 nanofluid were tested. The anti-wear and anti-friction mechanism and wetting properties of Al2O3 nanofluid were studied by using probe 3D profilometer, contact angle measuring instrument, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrometer. The results showed that sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) had the best suspension stability of nano-Al2O3 in soybean oil. Nano-Al2O3 could effectively improve the anti-wear and anti-friction performances of soybean oil. When the mass fraction of nano-Al2O3 was 2.0 %, the contact angle was the smallest and the anti-wear and anti-friction performances were the best. At present, the geometrical dimension measurement of the rail profile is mostly based on manual measurement. The high-precision profile detection system based on the laser profiler can improve work efficiency of manual measurement and reduce measurement errors. The median filtering method was used to preprocess the profile data collected by the laser profilometer, and the coordinate system was transformed by coordinate translation and coordinate rotation. Then, the appropriate feature point was selected by quadratic fitting to match the silhouette stitching. After field test, the repeated measurement error of the rail profile size was less than 0.1 mm, and the absolute measurement accuracy was up to 0.014 mm. These experimental value met the requirements of the national standard for the detection accuracy of the rail profile, indicating the proposed method could effectively improve the detection efficiency of the rail. In order to promote the application of diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings in harsh marine environments, magnetron sputtering technology was used to deposit CrN-DLC coatings on 304 stainless steel. Subsequently, SEM, Raman spectrometer, XPS, EDS, nanoindentation instrument, friction testing machine, three-dimensional profilometer, and electrochemical workstation were utilized to analyze the surface and cross-sectional morphology, microscopic bonding structure, chemical bonding state, composition and element distribution, hardness, tribological properties and corrosion resistance of CrN-DLC films prepared under different nitrogen flow conditions. Results showed that the CrN-DLC coatings had a dense surface structure with no obvious defects, and the deposited coatings were all amorphous in structure. The coatings showed a 55% elastic recovery rate when 2 mL/min N2 was passed through, indicating that the CrN-DLC coatings had good toughness, and the wear rate of the coating prepared under this condition under simulated seawater rubbing against Si3N4 balls was only 8.63×10-10 m3/(N·m). In the electrochemical tests, the anodic polarization curves of all CrN-DLC coatings showed obvious passivation phenomenon. Among them, the corrosion current density of the coating through the 2 mL/min N2 was 2 orders of magnitude lower than that of 304 stainless steel, showing good corrosion resistance. Generally, the structural design and elemental doping of the CrN-DLC coatings could effectively improve the wear and corrosion resistance of 304 stainless steel, which enhanced the application of DLC coatings in the marine environment.
