Objective To investigate the effect of platelet rich fibrin（PRF） combined with autogenous bone on the repair of distal bone defect of second molar after mandibular third molar extraction.Methods Sixty-one patients with distal bone defect of the second molar caused by the extraction of the impacted mandibular third molar in this hospital from January 2020 to October 2021 were divided into the observation group（31 cases） and control group（30 cases） by the random number table method.The control group was treated by simple mandibular third molar extraction and the observation group was given the PRF combined with autogenous bone treatment on this basis. The molar repair, postoperative recovery, bone tissue indexes and the incidence rate of complications at different time points were observed in the two groups. Results After the follow-up end, the depth of distal buccal horn defect of second molar, distance between distal buccal and periodontal pockets of molars and the distance of molar distal cheek to cementum border in the observation group were lower than those in the control group; at 24 h and on 7 d after repair, the VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the mouth opening degree was greater than that of the control group, and the swelling degree was lighter than that of the control group; the average grayscale value（MGVs） in 1,3 months after repair and at the follow up end in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group; the incidence rate of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group（P＜0.05）.Conclusion PRF combined with autogenous bone not only can repair the distal bone defect of the second molar and significantly reduce the incidence rate of complications by increasing the bone density and improving bone tissue, but also reduce the degree of facial swelling and pain reaction, improve the mouth opening limitation, and effectively promote the recovery of the disease. Objective：To discuss the technological process of platelet rich fibrin (PRF) /hydroxyapatite (HA) complex prepared by the“sandwich”method, and to evaluate its properties. Methods：The injectable PRF (I-PRF) and advanced PRF (A-PRF) were prepared with the centrifugation indexes of 700 r·min－1 × 3 min and 1 300 r·min－1 ×14 min, respectively, then they were combined with HA using the“sandwich” method. The microstructure of PRF/HA complex was observed under scanning electron microscope (SEM) after freeze drying；the material was immersed in the simulated body fluid (SBF), and the growth of a bone-like layer on the surface of HA was observed on the 2nd, 4th, 8th, and 16th days, respectively, and its mineralization ability was evaluated；the PRF/HA complex extract solution co-cultured with preosteoblast MC3T3-E1 cells of the mice and complete culture medium were used as experimental group and control group；after cultured for 1, 3 and 5 d, respectively, the proliferation activities of the preosteoblast MC3T3-E1 cells were evaluated by CCK-8 method. Two full-thickness cranial defect areas with a diameter of 6 mm were symmetrically established on both the sides of the sagittal suture in the Japanese white rabbits；one side implanted with PRF/HA complex was regarded as experimental group, the other side without any material implantion was regarded as control group；X-ray and cone beam CT (CBCT) were used on the surgical area to evaluate the bone formation performance of the rabbits in two groups 4 and 8 weeks after surgery. Results：The PRF/HA complex with a“sandwich”structure was successfully prepared, with the A-PRF on the outside and the I-PRF mixed with HA particles on the inside. The SEM observation results showed that the cross-section of the complex was an obvious threelayer structure, with the dense fibrin net on the outside and the porous HA particles attached by fibrin filaments on the inside. After being immersed in SBF, the mineralized nodules were formed on the surface of HA on the 2nd day, the bone-like layer was gradually established with the prolongation of the immersion time, and a lamellar structure was formed at the 16th day. The cell proliferation experiment results showed that compared with control group, the proliferation activities of the MC3T3-E1 cells in experimental group were significantly increased on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th days (P<0. 05) . The imaging observation results showed that the cranial defect in experimental group had obvious marginal osteogenesis 4 weeks after surgery and the new bone had almost completely filled the bone defect area 8 weeks after surgery, while the new bone formation of the cranial defect in control group was significantly decreased than that in experimental group. Conclusion：PRF/HA complex prepared by the“sandwich”method has a good mineralization ability and biocompatibility, and can promote the bone regeneration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To explore the clinical application and efficacy of autologous platelet rich fibrin (PRF) combined with vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) in the treatment of large ulcer wounds in refractory lactation mastitis. Methods From February 2016 to October 2019, the clinical data of 14 patients with large ulcer wounds caused by lactation mastitis were retrospectively analyzed. The VSD and autologous PRF were used to fill cavities around the wounds to make the wounds closed. Then PRF and autologous medium-thickness skin graft were used to repair the wounds. The efficacy was observed and recorded. All patients were followed up for 6 to 36 months. The effective rate, healing time, adverse reactions, wound secretion scores, granulation growth scores, VAS pain scores and breast shape scores were analyzed and patients' satisfaction were recorded. Results After PRF combined with VSD treatment, all wounds in 14 patients were healed after autologous medium-thickness skin graft repair. The treatment time was 25 to 60 days, with an average of (34.52±3.18) days. The evaluation of breast shape was excellent in 8 cases, good in 5 cases and general in 1 case. During the follow-up, no local ulceration or obvious scar hyperplasia occurred. Objective To explore the effect of platelet rich fibrin （PRF）in the promotion of wound healing. Methods From June 2015 to October 2019, 30 patients with wounds were selected. All patients were divided into PRF treatment group and conventional dressing change group. All patients were followed up for 6 to 12 months after discharge. The treatment time, pain degree, satisfaction, total hospitalization expenses and complications of patients were recorded. Results In the PRF treatment group, the average treatment time were（20.53±12.69）days, the average frequency of dressing change were (3.76±1.66), the average treatment expenses were（19035.29±3993.07）yuan and the scores of pain were（3.01±1.63）. In the conventional dressing change group, the average treatment time（32.85±11.47）days, the average frequency of dressing change were（15.29±4.32）and the average treatment expenses were（25946.3±9425.1）yuan. Compared with the conventional dressing change group, the application of PRF can promote wound healing, reduce the frequency of dressing change, decrease the expenses of treatment and alleviate the pain during the therapeutic process. Conclusion The application of PRF is superior to the conventional dressing change in preventing wounds infection, shortening the treatment time, alleviating the pain and decreasing the expenses. Objective: To explore the feasibility and effect of implantation of uninduced adipose derived stem cells(ADSCs) and platelet rich fibrin(PRF) composite on repair of cartilage defect in the mandibular condyle. Methods: 36 male New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 3 groups, i.e. ADSCs membrane/PRF group, PRF group and control group. In 3% sodium pentobarbital anesthesia,a critical-sized osteochondral defect, which was 3 mm in width and 3 mm in depth, was created in the mandibular condyle. Each packet are filled into the corresponding implants according to the experimental design. The rabbits were killed after 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks respectively to obtain the specimens of condyle and then the specimens were analyzed by comparing for gross observation and histological examination. Results: 12 weeks after operation, the blank control group of mandibular condyle cartilage defect could not be repaired, the PRF group has a few irregular and discontinuous cartilage formation, the group of ADSCs membrane and PRF compound has more reconstructive cartilage, the newly formed cartilage is close to the normal cartilage and it has better continuity with the surrounding cartilage. Histological staining also showed the ADSCs membrane and PRF group is better than PRF group and control group. Objective: To summary the standardized management in research and applications of platelet derivatives for tissue regeneration., Methods: The related literature about bottlenecks and standardized management of platelet derivatives in recent years was reviewed and analyzed., Results: Although the platelet derivatives are increasingly used to accelerate the regenerative processes of injured joint, skin, nerve, ligament/tendon, and alveolar bone, etc ., the large variation in preparation methods, diverse nomenclature, incomplete reporting system, and lack of quantitative and standardized management of the preparation process have caused uncertainty and incomparability of research and application results. In recent years, there has been a trend towards standardized research and management of platelet derivatives., Conclusion: The implementation of standardized research and quality management will contribute to promote the research and application of platelet derivatives in the field of tissue regeneration.
