Image rotation makes fake images more realistic in geometric perspective, and the performance of existing JPEG image rotation angle estimation algorithms is easily disturbed by block artifacts and the image block size. It remains an imminent and challenging work for the rotation angle interval [1°,15°]. This study presents an effective algorithm to estimate the rotation angle of JPEG images based on block artifact spectral analysis. Firstly, the edges of the image are extracted and removed using a variant colony algorithm to highlight block effects. Secondly, the effect of image texture is further mitigated by cross-differentiation. Thirdly, extraneous peaks are removed in the Fourier transform domain by setting reasonable thresholds and using a Gaussian high-pass filter to reduce interference. Finally, the amplitude component of the Fourier spectrum is projected into the polar coordinates, and the polar angle corresponding to the peak in the polar coordinates is the estimation of rotation angle we need. The experimental results show that the average absolute error of the method is lower than that of the existing methods for the detection of small-size JPEG images whose rotation angle lies within the [1°,15°] interval. Besides, when the compression quality factor is gradually reduced, the performance of the proposed method is still better than the existing methods, and the robustness of the proposed method to JPEG compression is better. This paper builds a dance video generation system using a generative adversarial network, which can input a single image and a target dance video to make the people in the photo dance. The system mainly adopts human posture transfer technique and facial posture transfer technique to allow the computer to generate an image of a person that matches the target poses. Also, image inpainting technique repairs the holes in the picture caused by the characters being cut out from the background. In addition, the system uses a multi-scale region extractor to capture body features and incorporates region style loss into the loss function. For face pose transfer, a progressive face angle transformation framework is adopted and a mask discriminator is added to improve the quality of the generated image. Finally, for the color shift problem during the inpainting process, the system uses the perceptual color loss function based on the CIEDE2000 color difference formula to handle the problem, so that the inpainting results match human visual perception better. Objective·To assess muscle changes of patients of temporomandibular joint disorder with nonstructural disorder by using the Dixon technique for MRI of masticatory muscle, and evaluate the clinical effect of manipulation on masticatory muscle pain guided by MRI.Methods·A total of 29 patients with TMD masticatory muscle pain (without disc displacement) who were diagnosed for the first time in the Department of Oral Surgery, Shanghai Ninth People′s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from June 2021 to September 2022 were included. Among them, 9 cases who were assessed with Dixon technique for MRI of masticatory muscle were collected and treated by manipulation. Before treatment, the DICOM Viewer workstation was used to compare the value of masticatory muscle pain area (Z1), the value of ipsilateral non-pain area (Z2) and the value of contralateral corresponding masticatory muscle area (Z3) in Dixon image. Manipulation therapy was performed according to the area of abnormal threshold. Follow-up was performed for 1-4 weeks after treatment, the active maximum mouth opening (MMO) and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) before and after treatment were compared, and the value of masticatory muscle pain area in Dixon image after treatment was obtained again to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Results·The mean value of Z2 and Z3 in Dixon was (66.23±32.90) and (66.27±33.87), while Z1 in masticatory muscle pain region was (131.94±83.99), which was significantly higher than Z2 and Z3. Manipulation therapy showed significant improvement in MMO and VAS, and the effective rate was 88.89%.Conclusion·There is a significant correlation between the imaging findings of Dixon technique for MRI and the pain points of the masticatory muscle reported by the clinical complaints. The manipulation therapy guided by Dixon technique for MRI has a significant effect on improving the degree of mouth opening and pain.

With the development of artificial intelligence, digital images have been widely used in various fields. However, due to the appearance of image editing software, a large number of images have been tampered with maliciously, which seriously affects the authenticity of image content. Different from the general object detection, the study of image tampering detection needs to pay more attention to the tamper information of the image itself, which is often manifested in a weak form. Therefore, the detection model needs to focus on learning more abundant tamper features. This paper proposes a dual-stream Faster R-CNN model that combines gradient edge information and attention mechanism, and the model can realize detection and location of regions with different tampering types. One of the two streams is the color stream, which uses the attention mechanism to extract the surface features of the image, such as brightness contrast, visual difference of tampering with the boundary, etc. The second of the two streams is a gradient stream. A Gradient high-pass filter is used to enhance the anomaly edge features between the real area and the tampered area, making it easier for the model to find faint tampered traces in the tampered image. Finally, the features of color stream and gradient stream are fused by means of compact bilinear pooling. Due to the relatively small size of publicly available image tampering data sets, the Pascal VOC 2012 is used to create an image tampering detection data set which containing 10 010 images for model pre-training. The experimental results on COVER, Columbia, and CASIA data sets show that the model proposed in this paper improves the detection accuracy by 7.1% to 9.6% compared to the latest models, and exhibits higher robustness under JPEG compression and image blur attacks. Aiming at the characteristics of complex ocean scene (multi-scale target, diverse object, great style difference, strong spatiotemporal correlation and uncertain target), this paper studies the effective feature extraction method of complex image based on attention mechanism, and proposes a Chinese description generation model of complex ocean scene image based on convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM) network. Combined with Jieba word segmentation tool, the complex ocean scene image is realized automatic translation of ocean scene monitoring images. Using 91 satellite map assistant and UAV high-definition image data, the model is established and the algorithm is verified. The results show that the Inception-v4 model has stronger complex feature extraction ability than VGG16 model, and the image classification ability of Inception-v4 model is about 5.3 percentage points higher than that of VGG16 model. Based on convolutional neural network and long short- term memory model, the image classification ability is basically feasible and can solve the problem of automatic annotation of batch images, but the stability and accuracy of the algorithm need to be further improved. In order to solve the problems of inaccurate temporal detection and location of the object removal tampered video, a video tamper forensics method based on 3D dual-stream network was proposed. Firstly, the spatial rich model (SRM) layer was used to extract the high-frequency information from video frames. Secondly, the improved 3D convolution (C3D) network was used as the feature extractor of the dual-stream network to extract the high-frequency information and low-frequency information from the high-frequency frame and the original video frame respectively. Finally, through compact bilinear pooling (CBP) layer, two sets of different feature vectors were fused into one set of feature vectors for classification prediction. The experimental results demonstrate that the classification accuracy of the proposed method in all video frames has an advantage in SYSU-OBJFORG dataset, which makes the temporal detection and location of object removal tampered video more accurate. In order to improve the feature utilization rate of the image to be detected,a Deepfake video detection model based on consistency of spatial-temporal features was proposed, inspired by the observation that there are slight inconsistency and discontinuity in the facial expression changes of the characters in Deepfake videos. In the model, the convolutional neural network (CNN) was used to extract the spatial features from the video to be detected, and an optical flow method was used to perform temporal features between consecutive frames of the video. Then another CNN was used to extract the abstract and in-depth features from the optical flow map. After the temporal features and spatial features were transformed from original representation space to a new feature space by neural networks, a fully connected neural network was used to classify the combined spatial and temporal features space to achieve the detection target. The model proposed in the paper was trained on the Face-forensics++, an open source Deepfake dataset. The experimental results indicated that the detection accuracy of the proposed model reaches 98.1%, and the AUC value reaches 0.998 1. By comparing with the existing Deepfake detection models, the proposed model is superior to the existing models in terms of detection accuracy and AUC value, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed model. Wheat lodging is one of the most popular agriculture disaster. It has a great influence on the yield formation of wheat and causes huge loss every year. However, available means for monitoring crop lodging in large area is very limited. The potential capability of radar remote sensing for monitoring wheat lodging was explored in this study. After the backscattering coefficient of wheat field parcels were extracted at different polarization mode, radar backscattering behavior of typical lodging wheat parcels and the one of typical normal wheat parcels was dynamically compared at different growth stages and at different polarization mode, based on 5 multi-temporal Radarsat-2 images that covered an entire wheat growth cycle from sowing to near harvest. Results showed that there were distinct differences between lodging and normal wheat parcels in all polarization channels. When compared to normal wheat, the backscattering coefficient at HH (H, horizontal polarization) polarization decreased remarkably, while the one at VV (V, vertical polarization) polarization increased and the one at HV polarization increased slightly for lodging wheat. It was also found that polarimetric feature from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data was very sensitive to wheat lodging and the sensibility was caused by unique structural characteristics of wheat vegetation and inherent polarization characteristics of SAR observation. Then a method based on radar polarimetric index, which took the full advantage of this sensibility, was put forward to monitoring wheat lodging. And the method was validated by in-situ data collected in 28 wheat parcels in Shangkuli Farmland in Inner Mongolia, China, at heading and filling stages of spring wheat. The result revealed that the polarimetric index, especially based on the ratio of dual-polarization backscattering coefficient (HH/VV and HH/HV), had excellent performance for distinguishing lodging from normal wheat parcels: all the 11 lodging wheat parcels with different severity were detected successfully from 28 parcels. In addition, the results were compared with the ones by single polarization channel data. It showed that the polarimetric index method had good anti-inference ability such as resisting influence of wheat growth difference, and can better reflect the intrinsic feature of lodging. It should be mentioned that the monitoring result may be influenced by harvest situation and vegetation water content etc. Moreover, while optical remote sensing relied on its spectral features to monitor crop lodging, radar remote sensing utilized polarimetric features to monitor crop lodging since SAR observation had advantage in reflecting the structural variation of lodging. Therefore, radar remote sensing have great potential for crop lodging monitoring, and the study presented a simple and effective method for monitoring wheat lodging in large area. Objective: To study the application of three-dimensional visualization technology for laparoscopic resection of cystic carcinoma in the pancreatic body and tail., Methods: Six cases of cystic carcinoma in the pancreatic body and tail treated between Nov, 2009 and Mar, 2011 were retrospectively analyzed. The original image data of 64-slice spiral CT were collected and using adaptive region growing algorithm, the serial CT images were segmented and automatically extracted to obtain the 3-dimensional reconstruction images with customized image manipulation software. The specific surgical approach (the trocar position) and surgical procedure were planned based on the reconstructed mode., Results: The reconstructed 3-dimensional model clearly displayed cystic carcinoma in the pancreatic body and tail and the adjacent organs, showing distinct relationship between the cystoma and the splenic artery and vein. All the patients successfully underwent laparoscopic resection of the pancreatic body and tail without perioperative death. The spleen was preserved in 5 cases and removed in 1 case due to mucinous cystadenocarcinoma. The overall rate of pancreatic fistulae was 33.3% without incidences of postoperative hemorrhage. The average hospital stay of the patients was 12 days., Conclusion: Three-dimensional reconstruction based on pancreatic CT data provides valuable assistance for laparoscopic resection of cystic carcinoma in the pancreatic body and tail.

Objective: To observe the effects of Qingyi Granule (QYG) on the changes of total protein expressions in the pancreatic tissue of rats with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) induced by sodium taurocholate (STC)., Methods: SAP was induced by retrograded injecting 5% STC from the gut-pancreatic duct in 36 Sprague-Dawley (SD)rats. Then they were randomly divided into the SAP group and the QYG treatment group (abbreviated as the QYG group), 18 in each group. After successful modeling, rats in the QYG group were administered with QYG water solution (W: W = 1:1) once with an interval of 12 h (1 mL/100 g), while rats in the SAP group were administered with normal saline. The medication was performed four times. The total proteins were extracted from the pancreatic tissue of all rats to perform two-dimensional electrophoresis, fluorescent staining, and atlas analysis. The protein dots with differential expressions more than four times between each other in 48 h gel pictures were chosen and used for MALDI-TOF/TOF mass chromatographic analysis and biological information analysis., Results: The 5% STC induced SAP model rats had typical pathological changes in the pancreatic tissue. The proteomics changes of the pancreatic tissue were analyzed by gel image manipulation software. Twenty two disparate points were detected between two groups at 48 h, 5 points of the protein were up-regulated and 17 points were down-regulated of the total after QYG intervention. Nine protein spots expressed differently more than 4 times and stably at 48 h, 7 kinds of proteins have been identified by mass chromatographic analysis and Data Base Retrieval, and they were Serpinb1a 39 kDa protein, Serpinb1a 43 kDa protein, Prdx4 Prx IV, Clps, gamma-actin (Actg1), Eprs and Hadhsc. Those proteins were involved in signal transmit during the process of SAP pancreas--pathological injury analyzed from their functions., Conclusions: Proteomics can well reflect the effects of QYG on differential expression proteins in the pancreatic tissue of rats with SAP. Studying differential expression proteins may provide a new theoretical basis and molecule target for QYG treating SAP.

Objective: To establish a new method for in vitro observation of ciliary activity of the tracheal membrane in rabbit under a common light microscope., Methods: Nine healthy adult rabbits were used. Two equal sized cervical trachea flaps were removed after the rabbits were anesthetized by urethane (4 mg/kg). The removed trachea flap was randomly assigned to the ephedrine (Eph) and DMEM control group, respectively. The observed trachea flap was placed in a small flat-bottomed glass container with its membranous side upward in DMEM culture medium solution (DMEM control group) or in 0.5% ephedrine solution prepared with DMEM (Eph group). One drop of 1% methylthioninium stained autologous blood cells was added into the glass container as the tracer, and the trachea flap was observed under a common light microscope (400 x). The latter was attached with a digital camera linking to an image manipulation system, the computed dynamic image analyser. The velocity of the tracer cell movement worked as the indicator for ciliary activity and was automatically determined by the digital image manipulation system. The variation coefficient (VC) was used as the indicator of the cell movement velocity., Results: There was no significant difference among the VC at different time points in the DMEM control group. VC of the Eph group decreased regularly with the time point., Conclusion: A thin layer of flowing fluid was found on the surface of the tracheal mucociliary blanket which is driven by the activity of the mucociliary system. The new method of using the tracer to evaluate the ciliary activity of mammalia tracheal membrane in vitro is reliable and stable. It is practical and valuable in the in vitro observation and evaluation of ciliary activity of the tracheal membrane.

To identify the role of co-seeding marrow stromal cells (MSCs) and endothelial cells (ECs) onto biocomposite in constructing tissue-engineered bone for promoting osteogenesis and angiogenesis, we seeded rat marrow stromal cells (rMSCs) and human umbilical vein endothelial cells (hUVECs) onto poly (L-lactic acid)/beta-tricalcium phosphate (PLLA/beta-TCP) macroporous composite (the test group), and seeded rMSCs onto the same kind of composite (the control group). We implanted these biocomposites into the thighs of nude mice intramuscularly and sacrificed these mice at 1, 4, 8, 12, 16 weeks after implantation, respectively. Biocomposites were taken out and histomorphometry was performed. Image manipulation technology was used to calculate the percentages of new bone area and material area in the test group and control group. We found that the percentage of new bone area of test group increased faster than that of control group, the percentage of material of test group decreased faster than that of control group, and the growth of capillary network of test group was much better than that of control group. These results suggest that co-seeding MSCs and ECs onto scaffold for constructing tissue-engineered bone is beneficial to osteogenesis, to angiogenesis in the prosthesis, and to the degradation of scaffold, and it is of significance in the research of bone tissue engineering.

Objective: Discussed how to develop a software for prosthodontics teaching with the models and element libraries of the dentition and dentures., Methods: Selected the typical Kennedy's types and prostheses, used the kinds of model and libraries, by the way of the image manipulation, we established an applied software., Results: We established an useful software for the prosthodontics teaching., Conclusion: The software we developed is effective and editable.
