This paper describes the SLAB heavy gas dispersion modeling and uses SLAB View to simulate the H2S diffusion process and hazardous areas in a sour gas well blowouts. It identifies the influence range of H2S cloud cluster at specified concentration averaging time, the time when the H2S cloud cluster of specified concentration reaches the furthest distance, and the furthest diffuse distance in wind direction. The comparison shows that SLAB View offers an easier and faster option to simulate leakage and diffusion process during sour gas well blowouts on flat terrains, and therefore it is a useful tool for the prediction of the diffusion consequence and influence range. Blowout is the most serious accident during drilling process. Kicking is the forerunner of blowout, hence it is significant to optimize kick detection method and to improve the monitoring instantaneity and reliability for realizing safe, efficient and economic drilling. The paper analyzed the causes and signs of kicking, and classified the existing kick detection methods into six categories according to the differences of detecting parameters and forms. And it made deep analysis and comparisons about the advantages and disadvantages, applications suitability and relative algorithms of the methods. Based on the above it proposed an online monitoring and warning system for kick forerunning based on PWD, micro-flux detection and comprehensive logging parameters. At last, the prospect was described on the application and development of MPD, LWD, PWD in kick detection field, and the main factors restricting kick detection were pointed out. The accident probability calculation of the gas fields with high sulfur content, high pressure, and high yield (3-highs) has been the focal and difficult point in risk assessment for gas well drilling accidents in China and abroad. In order to calculate the accident rate reasonably, the paper used the fault tree method and Bayesian updating to research the accident probability of the gas well drilling with 3-highs. Firstly, the paper described the mechanism of the accidents using fault tree analysis (FTA), then made use of Bayesian method to update existing statistic data for reducing uncertainty, and got the probability distributions of the top event and related incidents with Monte Carlo simulation finally. Empirical results show that the method could effectively reduce the uncertainty arisen from limited sample data and judge difference from experts, and could provide reference for quantitative risk assessment of the gas well drilling with 3-highs. By using traditional sampling methods, the micro-communities of vegetations in fixed, semi-bare, and bare blowouts of Hulunbuir grassland were investigated, and the investigation data were statistical analyzed. The results showed that the vegetation coverage decreased in the order of fire blowout, semi-bare blowout, and bare blowout, and was lower than that of the primary vegetation Form. Stipa grandis. Potentilla acaulis and Kengia squarrosa were the dominant species in fixed blowout, with the coverage being 2%. The dominant species in depositional areas of semi-bare blowout were P. acaulis, K. squarrosa, Agropyron cristatum, and Thymus mongolicus, and the coverage was 4%. The dominant species on the southwest slope of bare blowout was Agriophyllum pungens. The middle depositional area of bare blowout was also occupied by A. pungens (coverage 4.7%), and the edge of it was dominated by A. cristatum (coverage 2.7%), Carex sp. (coverage 2.6%), and T. mongolicus (coverage 1.7%) from the edge of the depositional area to primary grassland. The mean species importance value in fixed, semi-bare, and bare blowouts was 12.64%, 13.38%, and 20.08%, while that in the depositional area of semi-bare blowout and in the middle and edge of bare blowout was 12.55%, 40.18%, and 11.15%, respectively. According to the actual conditions of oil and gas well, physical and geometric model by numerical simulation are established. To analyze H2S concentration distribution after uncontrolled blowout for 15 min, the environmental wind speed and the initial blowout jet speed are mainly considered. The results show that the wind speed above 2 m/s can form a similar elliptical area along the direction of the wind deflection due to the H2S diffusion, and the press extent increases with the wind peed raising; when the initial gas jet velocity is certain, the spread area of H2S increases with the wind speed raising, but the approximate - oval high concentration area is presented increases at first then decreases trend; When the environmental wind peed is certain, the H2S diffusion area will increase with the increasing of initial gas jet speed; In the higher jet speed conditions, H2S diffusion will appear eddy current, then "bounce" phenomenon will also appear after H2S spreading to the distant ground .
