In order to research the rapid high-precision control of the swing nozzle, firstly, swing nozzle servo institutions and their load torque were modeled and analyzed, secondly, the disturbance observer (DOB) was designed to reduce the impact of the load torque on the system, finally the design of terminal sliding mode robust controller was researched and the proof of stability control algorithm was given. The results show that contrast to the conventional sliding mode control, terminal sliding mode robust control has high control accuracy and fast performance, and effectively reduces the chattering. Swing nozzle servo system with terminal sliding mode robust control achieves fast and accurate response, which verifies the validity of the algorithm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
