AlCoCrFeNi high entropy alloy (HEA) coatings add by Y2O3 in the different mass fraction were prepared on Q235 steel matrix by laser cladding technology in this study, and the microstructure, hardness, and wear resistance of the AlCoCrFeNi high entropy alloy coatings were analyzed by X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope, microhardness tester, and friction and wear tester. The results show that, the phase structure of AlCoCrFeNi HEAs coatings is composed of face-centered cubes (FCC) phase and body-centered cubes (BCC) phase. The volume fraction of BCC phase increases with the increase of Y2O3 mass fraction, while the FCC phase volume fraction shows the opposite trend. The microstructure of the AlCoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy coatings is composed of the equiaxed crystals, the addition of Y2O3 promotes the melt pool flow, makes the pores disappear gradually, improves the denseness, and makes the grains become fine. The addition of 5% Y2O3 (mass fraction) in the coatings results in the dendritic organization and the diffusely distributed YAl2 and Y2O3 phases, and the coating microhardness reaches up to HV 350, which is about twice than that of the AlCoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy coatings, showing the obvious strengthening effect. The addition of Y2O3 is beneficial to promote the formation of BCC phase and the precipitation of YAl2 phase in the coatings, which can effectively improve the hardness and wear resistance of the high entropy alloy coatings.

Based on the analysis of the ECC algorithms processing structure characteristics and parallel schedule on finite field level,a parallel architecture processor model for ECC was proposed which adopting the ILP and DLP.A prototype has been implemented based on the parallel architecture processor model.And storage structure in the model is also analyzed.The prototype is realized using FPGA,and synthesis,place and route have been accomplished under 0.18μm CMOS technology.The results prove that the proposed parallel architecture processor for ECC can guarantee high flexibility for arbitrary ECC algorithms and can achieve high performance.

Species distribution models are commonly used in basic and applied ecological research to examine the factors driving the distribution and abundance of organisms. They are employed to quantify species' relationships with abiotic conditions, to predict species' response to land-use and climatic change, and to identify potential conservation areas. Biotic interactions have been rarely included in traditional species distribution models, wherein joint species distribution models (JSDMs) emerge as a feasible approach to simultaneously incorporate environmental factors and interspecific interactions, making it a powerful tool for analyzing the structure and assembly of biotic communities. Generally, the JSDMs are based on species distribution models (SDMs), with the abundance or occurrence of multiple species as response variables and environmental factors, species associations and species traits being incorporated in the modeling framework. These models commonly use generalized linear regression methods (GLM) to relate multivariate response to environmental variables, and capture species associations in the form of random effects. The limitation has been overcome by the introduction of latent variable models (LVMs). Typically, the model parameters are estimated using maximum likelihood estimation or Bayesian methods implemented by Laplace Approximation and Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) simulations, respectively. In this review, the generation and theoretical basis of JSDMs were summarized. The characteristics of different types of JSDMs and their applications in modern ecology were emphatically introduced. The problems and prospects of JSDMs were discussed. With the in-depth study of the relationship between environmental factors and multi-species interactions, JSDMs would be the focus of future studies of species distribution model. A scaffolding spring suspension device which could adjust 3-DOF frequency was designed in wind tunnel. Wind tunnel test for galloping of an ice coating D shape sectional model of 6-bundled conductors was carried out under three different attack angle and five different ratios of vertical to rotational mode frequency. The action of 3-DOF motion state of iced conductor section model was recorded accurately in uniform wind field by using monocular testing technology. The results of 3-DOF galloping response of test and calculation could be verified each other by using the proposed galloping nonlinear solution. The critical wind speed of galloping for actual transmission line is judged by test and calculation. Results from the wind tunnel test indicate that 6-bundled iced conductors mainly focus on vertical galloping under the attack angle whose Den Hartog coefficient is less than zero. However, conductor will show different galloping law because of the difference of positive and negative of Nigol coefficient when ratio of vertical to rotational mode frequency is the same. Besides, conductor will show opposite galloping law when ratio of vertical to rotational mode frequency greater than or equal to 1 and less than 1. That is the vertical motion amplitude will increase with wind speed increasing, or the critical wind speed of galloping is limited to a certain range. In addition, conductors mainly focus on torsional galloping under the attack angle whose Den Hartog coefficient is less than zero and Nigol coefficient is more than zero. Rainwater infiltration changes the distribution of seepage flow field in unsaturated zone of slope, which is one of the main factors inducing the rock slope to slip. The conception of seepage force is introduced and the finite element method, is used to analyze the stability of rock slope under rainfall, based on theories of limiting equilibrium and the shear strength of unsaturated earth. An example is analyzed using the designed program for slope stability. Results show that the stability safety coefficient of rock slope is gradually reduced with continuous rainwater seepage, which indicates that the rainwater infiltration has bad effect on slope stability. By using totally locating method and single tree competition index model, this paper studied the competition intensity of Mongolian pine forests in Hulun Buir sand region of Inner Mongolia, with the fire-disturbed Mongolian pine forest as a case. The results showed that within the same sampling plots, dead trees had the similar competition intensity, while the accompanying species in living and whole stems had two or three times higher competition intensity than Mongolian pine. The competition stress of Mongolian pine mainly came from intra-specific, and that of accompanying species mainly came from inter-specific. The competition intensity of living Mongolian pine was significantly lower in fire-disturbed than in undisturbed plot, and the competition intensity (CI) of living stems had a power functional relationship with their diameter at breast height (D), i.e., CI=AD-B. It was concluded that surface fire could significantly decrease the competition intensity among the stems, which would benefit the growth and development of living stems and the culture of the stems with larger diameter of breast height. Hyperbranched polyglycidol's substantive hydroxyl were used to react with perfluoroalkyl, producing perfluoroalkyl terminated hyperbranched polyglycidol. Protection method was used to protect the shell hydroxyl in hyperbranched polyglycidol, making core ones reacted; then shell ones were deprotected and reacted, achieving the products. FT-IR, NMR were used to track every step and to characterize the products. The results prove that the protection method successfully improves the hyperbranched polyglycidol hydroxyl groups' conversion, compared with one step method. The blends of perfluoroalkyl-terminated star polymer and linear polyurethane complexed with LiClO4 were used as polymer electrolyte. The solvency on lithium salt, thermal behavior, and conductivity were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR), Raman, differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), SEM, impedance measurement, Perfluroalkyl terminated star polymer was synthesized based on perfluorooctanoyl chloride grafting on hyperbranched polyglycerol. The result shows that this kind of polyelectrolyte complexed with perfluroalkyl-terminated star polymer has better soluble capacity to salt and better conductivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Perfluroalkyl-terminated hyperbranched polymer was synthesized based on perfluorooctanoyl chloride grafting on hyperbranched polyglycerol and characterized by NMR, IR, GPC, EA and DSC. Hyperbranched polyglycerol and perfluorooctanoyl chloride were synthesized by cationic ring-opening polymerization of glycidol and by the reaction of perfluorooctanoic acid and SOCl2 respectively. In addition, this kind of polymer has potential applications in biomedical materials field due to its good biologic compatibility and special structure with the core hydrophilic and the shell hydrophobic and lipophobic. A series of polymer electrolytes based on multi-arm polymers and lithium salt complexes were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and impedance measurement. The relationships of conductivity with ion content, temperature, HPG-PEU content and arm numbers were studied, indicating that the star polymer has a higher solvency and ion transfer ability on lithium salt than linear PEO. The conductivity maximum appears at a higher salt concentration (O/Li=4), the optimum conductivity is 0.2 mS/cm. The conductivity is increased with temperature and the dependence of ionic conductivity on temperature fits the Arrhenius equation. Objectives: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture on miR-142-5p and ADAMTS1/PI3K/AKT pathway in rats with ischemic stroke, so as to explore the regulatory mechanism of electroacupuncture on angiogenesis after ischemic stroke., Methods: This study was divided into two parts. The first part of the experiment：SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, model group and electroacupuncture group. There were 20 rats in each group. The middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rat model was prepared using a modified Longa's method. In the electroacupuncture group, "Shuigou" (GV26) was selected for electroacupuncture intervention (4 Hz/20 Hz) for 30 min each time. The rats in the electroacupuncture group were given electroacupuncture immediately after successful modeling, once a day for 4 times. Hunter score and TTC staining were used to observe the neurological deficits and infarct volumes respectively；HE staining was used to observe the cortical pathological changes；immunohistochemistry was used to determine the changes of cerebral microvascular density. Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blot were used to observe the miR-142-5p expression, mRNA and protein expression levels of ADAMTS1, VEGF, PI3K, AKT, eNOS in ischemic cortex. The second part of the experiment：The rats were randomly divided into electroacupuncture+control group and electroacupuncture+miR-142-5p Antagomir group with 8 rats in each group. MCAO model was established after injection. Electroacupuncture+control group was given 0.9% sodium chloride solution injected into the right ventricle.The rats in the electroacupuncture+miR-142-5p Antagomir group were injected with miR-142-5p inhibitor into the right ventricle 30 min before modeling. Rats in electroacupuncture+control group and electroacupuncture+miR-142-5p Antagomir group were all given the same electroacupuncture treatment. Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to observe the effect of miR-142-5p Antagomir on the expression of miR-142-5p and ADAMTS1 mRNA. The effect of miR-142-5p Antagomir on ADAMTS1 protein was observed by Western blot., Results: In the first part of the experiment, compared with the sham operation group, the Hunter score in the model group was significantly increased ( P <0.01)；the volume of cerebral infarction in the model group was significantly increased ( P <0.01)；the degree of brain edema and neuronal necrosis and the density of cerebral microvessels was increased；the cerebral microvascular density was significantly increased ( P <0.01)；the expression levels of miR-142-5p and the mRNA expression levels of VEGF, AKT and eNOS were significantly decreased ( P <0.01, P <0.05), and the protein expression levels of VEGF, p-AKT and eNOS were significantly down-regulated ( P <0.01), while the mRNA expression levels of ADAMTS1 and PI3K, and the protein expression levels of ADAMTS1 and p-PI3K were all up-regulated ( P <0.01, P <0.05) in the model group. Compared with the model group, after intervention, the Hunter score in the electroacupuncture group was decreased ( P <0.01), the volume of cerebral infarction was significantly decreased ( P <0.01)；the degree of brain edema and neuronal necrosis were alleviated；the cerebral microvascular density was significantly increased ( P <0.01)；the expression of miR-142-5p and the mRNA expression of VEGF, PI3K, AKT and eNOS were increased ( P <0.01), the protein expressions of VEGF, p-PI3K, p-AKT and eNOS were increased ( P <0.01, P <0.05), while the mRNA and protein expression of ADAMTS1 were decreased ( P <0.05, P <0.01). After injection of miR-142-5p inhibitor, compared with electroacupuncture+control group, the expression of miR-142-5p in electroacupuncture+miR-142-5p Antagomir group was decreased( P <0.05), while the mRNA and protein expression of ADAMTS1 were increased ( P <0.01, P <0.05)., Conclusions: Electroacupuncture at GV26 can improve the neurological damage of ischemic stroke rats, reduce the volume of cerebral infarction and promote angiogenesis. The mechanism may be associated with the function of electroacupuncture in promoting the expression of miR-142-5p, so as to inhibit the expression of its target gene ADAMTS1, mediate the up-regulation of VEGF expression, activate PI3K/AKT pathway, promote the release of eNOS, and participate in promoting angiogenesis in ischemic stroke rats.

The convergent cross mapping (CCM) is a method to analyze causality of nonlinear time series variables. Different from the traditional linear system analysis method, CCM gets historical information based on their state space reconstruction. The presence of causality can be confirmed when the estimated values perform convergent with time series extension. Here, we introduced the develop-ment history of CCM and its advantages over the traditional Granger causality test, and elaborated the principle, algorithm process, and implementation approach. As a system analysis method aiming at the coupling relationship between variables from weak to moderate, CCM can effectively solve the complex causality among nonlinear multivariable in ecosystems. When it is applied to the causality analysis of multi-point time series variables with spatial information, the spatial autocorrelation among points should be fully considered and combined with the method that can remove the spatial correlation between variables and sequences, so as to ensure more accurate causality analysis using CCM and more convincing results.

This study developed a two-stage statistical model (linear mixed effect (LME) model+geographical weight regression (GWR) model) to determine the spatio-temporal variation of PM 2.5 concentrations in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (BTH) region with full-coverage, high resolution, and high accuracy. The model employs multi-angle implementation of atmospheric correction aerosol optical depth (MAIAC AOD) data, with a 1 km spatial resolution, as the main predictor and meteorological data/land-use data as the auxiliary predictors. To determine the characteristics of heavy PM 2.5 pollution in the BTH region, unique predictors such as AOD 2 were also introduced into the two-stage model. The two-stage model was used to estimate the daily PM 2.5 concentrations with a 1 km resolution. After being cross-validated against ground observations, the R 2 of PM 2.5 was found to be 0.94, with a slope value of 0.95 and RMSPE value of 13.14 μg·m -3 . Compared to previous studies such as LME, the two-stage model has much higher accuracy, suitable for estimating PM 2.5 concentrations. The PM 2.5 concentration in the BTH region ranged from 0 to 89.89 μg·m -3 in 2017, with a mean value of 44.96 μg·m -3 . The spatio-temporal variability of PM 2.5 over the BTH region was significant, exhibiting high values over the southwestern plain, moderate values over the northeastern plain, and low values over the mountainous plateau. In terms of seasonal variation, PM 2.5 concentrations were high in winter, low in summer, and moderate in spring and autumn. The estimated PM 2.5 concentrations, with high spatio-temporal resolution, are useful for exposure assessments in epidemiological studies and identifying the spatio-temporal variation of pollution sources at a fine spatial scale. The results show that the locations of vital pollution sources over the severely polluted south-central Hebei piedmont plain may have changed since the implementation of the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Action Plan. This study could provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of air pollution in the BHT region.

According to the notice on revision of the instructions for traditional Chinese medicine injections(TCMIs) issued by the National Medical Products Administration(NMPA) from January 2006 to May 2020, the revised contents in the instructions for 29 varieties involved in the notice were sorted out, and the existing problems in the instructions for TCMIs were analyzed, so as to provide the basis for dynamic revision of the instructions. It was found that the revised items of instructions for 29 varieties all involved adverse reactions, contraindications and precautions, and warnings were added for 82.76% of 29 TCMIs preparations, indicating that all the revised contents were related to safety issues. In addition, 33.33% of the drugs risks mentioned in the precautions were not indicated in the adverse reactions; 82.76% instructions did not indicate drug interactions; 17.24% instructions lacked medication notes for special populations; 48.28% instructions did not indicate traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndromes of the main disease; 44.83% instructions did not indicate the type and stage of indication; and 86.21% instructions did not indicate the course of treatment. It could be concluded that the instructions for TCMIs have known risks of drugs that are not fully reflected in adverse reactions and the effective information is not comprehensive. The risk control measures proposed in the precautions need to have aftereffect evaluation and there is a lack of drug interactions and medications for special populations. As an important part of the full life-cycle management of drugs, the revision of instructions for TCMIs should be continuously improved to provide the basis for safe and reasonable application of TCMIs. Based on the above problems, it is proposed that the marketing license holder as the main body of the revision of instructions should actively carry out post-marketing basic and clinical research in accordance with the characteristics of TCM, combine the updated research with the guidance of TCM theory and improve the revision level of instructions for TCMIs to provide the basis for post-marketing evaluation.

To screen the sensitive cell lines of active fraction from clove(AFC) on human colon cancer cells, investigate the effects of AFC on the cells proliferation and apoptosis as well as PI3 K/Akt/mTOR(phosphoinositide 3-kinase/Akt/mechanistic target of rapamycin) signaling pathways involved, and reveal the mechanism of AFC for inducing apoptosis of human colorectal carcinoma cells. Cell counting kit-8(CCK-8) assay was used to detect the cytotoxic effect of different concentrations of AFC. AFC-induced apoptosis was detected by Hoechst 33258 fluorescence staining and Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining. HCT116 cells were treated with AFC with or without pretreatment with insulin-like growth factor-Ⅰ(IGF-Ⅰ), and then the protein expression levels of caspase-3, caspase-9, poly ADP-ribose polymerase(PARP), PI3 K, p-PI3 K, Akt, p-Akt, mTOR and p-mTOR in PI3 K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway were detected by Western blot. RESULTS:: showed that the most obvious inhibitory effect of AFC was on human colon cancer HCT116 cells, and the optimal AFC treatment time was 48 hours. After AFC treatment, typical apoptotic features such as nuclear chromatin concentration, nuclear fragmentation and apoptotic bodies appeared in a dose-dependent manner. Annexin V-FITC/PI double staining showed that as compared with the control group, 50 and 100 μg·mL~(-1) AFC groups increased the apoptosis rate of HCT116 cells significantly(P&lt;0.001); AFC activated caspase-9, cleaved caspase-3 and cleaved PARP in a concentration-dependent manner. The protein expression levels of cleaved caspase-3/procaspase-3, cleaved PARP/PARP and caspase-9/β-actin after treatment of AFC(100 μg·mL~(-1)) were significantly different from those in the control group(P&lt;0.001). The relative protein expression of p-PI3 K, p-Akt and p-mTOR decreased in a concentration dependent manner, while Akt and mTOR showed no significant differences among groups. The ratios of p-PI3 K/PI3 K, p-Akt/Akt and p-mTOR/mTOR in the AFC groups(50 and 100 μg·mL~(-1)) were significantly lower than those in the control group(P&lt;0.01). Its combination with IGF-Ⅰ weakened the effect of AFC in inhibiting PI3 K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway. The ratios of p-Akt/Akt and p-mTOR/mTOR in the AFC+IGF-Ⅰ group were significantly enhanced as compared with the AFC group(P&lt;0.05). Apoptosis-related protein expression levels(cleaved caspase-3 and cleaved PARP) in HCT116 cells treated with AFC+IGF-Ⅰ were also down regulated. As compared with the AFC group, the ratios of cleaved caspase-3/procaspase-3 and cleaved PARP/PARP in the AFC+IGF-Ⅰ group were significantly decreased(P&lt;0.01). In summary, AFC activated caspase-mediated cascades and induced HCT116 cells apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner, which may be associated with the inhibition of the PI3 K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway.

Xiaoke Pills are Chinese and Western medicine compound preparations with effects of nourishing kidney and Yin,and supplementing Qi and promoting fluid. It is widely used in clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes( Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome),and continuously included in 2010,2013 and 2017 editions of Chinese prevention guide for type 2 diabetes. For the purpose of accurate positioning and rational use in clinic,it is necessary to further define the curative effect,indications,medication precautions and contraindications of Xiaoke Pills,in order to improve medication safety. This consensus was reached by reference of international clinical guidelines and expert consensus approach based on clinical evidence-based evidence,expert experience and standard specification. The evidence-based evaluation was oriented to clinical problems summarized by no less than 200 front-line clinical physicians in two rounds.GRADE system was adopted for quality classification and evaluation of the evidences,and then the nominal group method was used to form consensus recommendations or suggestions. This consensus defined the curative effect advantages,target users,dosage,administration method,contraindications and precautions of Xiaoke Pills,and provided valuable reference for the clinical use of the drug. Thisconsensus still needs to be updated and revised based on new clinical problems and evidence-based evidence in practical application in the future.

Congchi Decoction in Zhouhou Beiji Fang is a prescription commonly used in treating light exterior wind-cold syndrome.Fistular Onion Stalk in the prescription has the effects in inducing sweat and dispelling exogenous evils and accelerating Yang Qi,and has been recorded in many medical books. In addition to be used to treat light exterior wind-cold syndrome,Fistular Onion Stalk is also used extensively and uniquely to treat restlessness after cholera,febrile disease,thoracic obstruction,Yin-Yang toxin syndrome,consumptive disease,bellyache due to spleen Qi deficiency according to Zhouhou Beiji Fang. However,there is still lack of the research on whether Fistular Onion Stalk is derived from shallot or scallion. The authors analyzed the sources of Fistular Onion Stalk in the prescription of Congchi Decoction by consulting ancient books,and studying the plant morphology of shallot,the characteristic and effect of Fistular Onion Stalk and the historical physicians' clinical application of Fistular Onion Stalk,the completion and popularity of Zhouhou Beiji Fang,the ratio of water to medicine of Congchi Decoction and the chemical ingredients of Fistular Onion Stalk. Finally,the authors concluded that Fistular Onion Stalk in the Congchi Decoction refers to Scallion bulbs.

The authors systemically evaluated and analyzed the safety of Areca catechu from domestic and foreign literatures about the herbal origin, toxicity recorded in ancient/current documents, safety case reports of clinical A. catechu, experimental studies on toxicity in recent years, and differences of safety risk between edible and medicinal A. catechu. Subsequently, they proposed a preliminary summary about the clinical characteristics and potential risk factors of safety related cases of A. catechu and its preparations. Through a systematic and comprehensive study of domestic and foreign literatures and information, this study aims to trace the herbal origin and the toxicity recorded in ancient and current documents, analyze the safety case reports of Psoralea corylifolia and experimental studies on toxicity in recent years, and make a preliminary summary about the clinical characteristics and potential risk factors of cases related to the safety of P. corylifolia and its preparations. The study involved 84 patients in the safety case reports of P. corylifolia. The adverse events were mainly liver damage (55.95%) and light toxic contact dermatitis (38.10%), sugguesting that P. corylifolia may lead to liver damage and photo toxicity. However, reproductive toxicity and renal damage were only reported in animal studies, but not in clinical reports. Because of its complicated ingredients, the toxic components and mechanisms of P. corylifolia have not been clear at present. Therefore, the authors proposed to strictly apply P. corylifolia in clinic, use it rationally and combine it with other medications. By retrieving domestic and foreign literatures, the authors provided a systematic review for effects of Xanthii Fructus, toxicity recorded in ancient/current literatures and relevant toxicological experience, and summarized clinical characteristics of clinical cases related to Xanthii Fructus and influencing factors. In addition to liver and kidney injuries as the major side effects of Xanthii Fructus, neurotoxicity and cardio-toxicity of Xanthii Fructus were also common clinical adverse events. However, there have been a few animal experimental studies so far. Oral administration and external application with Xanthii Fructus have often caused skin reactions, even such severe cases as exfoliative dermatitis. We report tandem polymer light emitting devices by using the PEDOT∶PSS/ZnO/PEIE charge generation layer (CGL) and investigate the influences of the conductance and thickness of PEDOT∶PSS layer on the properties of the devices. The results indicate that the conductance and thickness of PEDOT∶PSS layer have marginal impact on the J-V characteristics of the devices, while significant influences of device efficiency upon utilization of different PEDOT∶PSS specimens mainly come from their different strengths on exciton quenching. Luminance efficiency of TOLEDs with the PEDOT∶PSS thickness of 60 nm in CGL is better than TOLEDs with the PEDOT∶PSS thickness of 30 nm in CGL, the reason is that PEDOT∶PSS thickness of 60 nm the surface topography is more even . Luminance efficiency and driving voltage of the tandem devices match the sum of the luminance efficiency and driving voltage of the component light-emitting units, respectively, indicating that charges generated in the CGL can be injected efficiently into the adjacent light-emitting units. Incorporation of a V2O5 layer into the CGL structure only slightly affects the J-V and LE-I characteristics of the tandem devices, suggesting that the utilization of the PEDOT∶PSS/ZnO/PEIE CGL enables the simplification of the CGL structure without compromising device performance. The luminescence spectra of TOLEDs obviously involves two light emitting unit of spectrum, which shows that two light emitting unit in TOLEDs is normal work. Measurements on the capacitance-voltage characteristics of the CGL-based devices confirm that under negative bias (ITO anode) charges are accumulated and displaced in the CGL, which is totally in line with the full operation of light emitting units in the tandem devices. PEDOT∶PSS/ZnO/PEIE layer is evidenced the effective CGL. On this basis, for the first time we report tandem polymer light emitting devices containing three SY-PPV light-emitting units，which show the mixture of luminance efficiency and external quantum efficiency of 21.7 cd·A-1 and 6.95%, similar to the total luminance efficiency and external quantum efficiency of constituent LEUs. At 5 000 cd·m-2, the luminance efficiency and external quantum efficiency of the tandem devices are 20.5 cd·A-1 and 6.6%. Thus, the increase in the number of light emitting units leads to almost no performance losses, implying the robustness of the PEDOT∶PSS/ZnO/PEIE CGL. Tandem polymer light emitting devices containing three SY-PPV light-emitting units of the luminescent spectra is close to the light emitting unit. Further efforts on the optimization of hole injection layer in the CGL to minimize exciton quenching are underlying to promote the luminance efficiency of tandem polymer light emitting devices.

We revisited the "Xiao Chaihu Decoction event (XCHDE)" occurred in late 1980s in Japan and the Bupleuri Radix related adverse drug reaction (ADR) reports in China After careful review, comparison, analysis and evaluation, we think the interstitial pneumonitis, drug induced Liver injury (DILI) and other severe adverse drug envents (ADEs) including death happened in Japan is probably results from multiple factors, including combinatory use of XCHDE with interferon, Kampo usage under modern medicine theory guidance, and use of XCHD on the basis of disease diagnosis instead of traditional Chinese syndrome complex differentiation. There are less ADE case reports related to XCHD preparation in China compared to Japan, mostly manifest with hypersensitivity responses of skin and perfuse perspiration. The symptoms of Radix Bupleuri injection related ADEs mainly manifest hypersensitivity-like response, 2 cases of intravenous infusion instead of intramuscular injection developed hypokalemia and renal failure. One case died from severe hypersensitivity shock. In Chinese literatures, there is no report of the interstitial pneumonitis and DILI associated with XCHDG in Japan. So far, there is no voluntary monitoring data and large sample clinical research data available. The author elaborated the classification of "reevaluation" and clarified "re-evaluation upon events" included the reaction to the suspected safety and efficacy events. Based on the current status of the clinical research on the Radix Bupleuri preparations, the author points out that post-marketing "re-evaluation upon suspected event" is not only a necessity of continuous evaluation of the safety, efficacy of drugs, it is also a necessity for providing objective clinical research data to share with the international and domestic drug administrations in the risk-benefit evaluation. It is also the unavoidable pathway to culture and push the excellent species and famous brands of TCM to the international market, in that it enhances the pharmaceutical manufactures the ability to control enterprise risk and eliminate the negative impact on traditional Chinese medicine. With the widely used and ADR report concentrated Radix Bupleuri injection as an example, the author provide a new approach to post-marketing clinical research.

By comprehensive review and analysis of post-marketing clinical research on the efficacy and safety,we concluded that Fufang Zaoren capsule has certain therapeutic effects for insomnia, although current clinical research design needs improving. The post-marketing clinical studies also showed that it causes several adverse reactions at the recommended doses, such as chills, fever, dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, chest tightness and palpitations, whereas high doses of Fufang Zaoren capsule can cause delayed extrapyramidal symptoms. Health Canada government website also prompted the L-tetrahydropalmatine in Fufang Zaoren capsule caused liver damage in pregnant women. The authors summarized the risk points, factors and risk control in the clinical use of Fufang Zaoren capsule and also present their perspective on the research status, existing problems and corresponding countermeasures in the post-marketing clinical re-evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective: To investigate the relationship of carotid artery plaque and blood pressure variation and cardiovascular risk factors., Methods: We retrospectively analyzed clinical data of in-patients treated in the department of hypertension between April 2009 and June 2010. Information on carotid ultrasonography and other clinical date were obtained from 408 patients. All patients were monitored by ambulatory blood pressure., Results: (1) Carotid artery determined in plaque was 55.3%, there was no differences between men and women. However, the carotid artery plague was associated positively with age. Increased age was associated with a significantly increased positive rate. (2) Cardiovascular risk factors and carotid artery plaque: carotid artery plaque was associated with duration of disease, fasting blood sugar, total cholesterol, and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol. (3) 24 h ambulatory blood pressure and carotid artery plaque: the prevalence of carotid artery plaque increased with increasing coefficient of systolic variation (P = 0.001). There was no correlation between the coefficient of diastolic variation and the prevalence (P = 0.644).(4) Multivariate regression analysis indicated that carotid artery plaque was associated with duration of hypertension, 24 h mean systolic blood pressure, and coefficient of variation of 24 h blood pressure (P < 0.05)., Conclusion: Carotid atherosclerosis is independently associated with coefficient of variation of blood pressure, especially with coefficient of variation of systolic blood pressure.

Objective: To investigate the relationship of gene polymorphisms of programmed cell death 1 gene (PDCD1) and ultraviolet history with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) among the Han population in the southern region of yangtze river in China., Methods: With a case control design, a total of 159 SLE cases and 159 controls were enrolled in this study, and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the PDCD1 gene were determined by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP). With the aid of the logistic regression model, the effect of gene polymorphism, environmental factor and the interaction between gene and environment were fitted under the recessive, dominant, additive and codominant mode, respectively., Results: Three models were screened as the optimal models under the additive mode and one model under the dominant mode, according to the lowest value of Akaike's Information Criteria (AIC). After the control of age and gender, it was found that the frequency of ultraviolet exposure was higher in cases than in controls with significant difference under all models (P<0.05). For the haplotypes composed of the alleles of PD1.2, PD1.5 and PD1.6, there was significantly higher frequency of G-T-A haplotype (0.1196 vs 0.0363) and lower frequency of A-C-A haplotype (0.4746 vs 0.5399) in cases than that in controls (P<0.05) under the additive mode, and the G-T-A haplotype was associated with an increased risk for SLE (OR=4.319), while A-C-A haplotype was shown as a protective factor for SLE (OR=0.571). Moreover, interaction between A-C-G haplotype and ultraviolet exposure, which was related to an increased risk for SLE (beta5=1.182, Z=2.2898, P<0.05, OR=3.261), was also found under this mode. Additionally, the frequency of G-C-G haplotype was higher in cases than that in controls (0.1287 vs 0.0361) under the dominant mode with statistically significant difference (P<0.05, OR=4.332)., Conclusion: Authors' results indicate that ultraviolet exposure, G-T-A or G-C-G haplotype and interaction between A-C-G and ultraviolet exposure may be associated with genetic susceptibility to SLE in Han population in the southern region of yangtze river in China under certain genetic modes.

Objective: To explore the interactions of gene polymorphisms of cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4) and programmed cell death 1 (PDCD-1) with risk environmental factors in individuals with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) from Han nationality female population in South of Changjiang River region of China., Methods: With a case-only design, a total of 258 cases were enrolled in this study, and single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the PDCD-1 and CTLA-4 genes were determined by means of PCR-RFLP. With the aid of Poisson loglinear mode, interactions between gene-gene and gene-environment were fitted under the dominant, recessive, additive and multiple models, respectively., Results: It was found that interaction existed between GG genotype of PD1.6 and UV history under separate inherent models of the recessive mode (OR = 3.714, 95%CI: 1.235 - 11.179) and additive mode (OR = 3.199, 95%CI: 1.023 - 10.004). For CTLA-4 locus, there existed interactions between TT/TC genotype of -1722T-->C and UV history under the dominant model (OR = 4.874, 95%CI: 1.119 - 21.242), and interaction between T allele and UV history was also found under the multiple model (OR = 1.470, 95%CI: 1.047 - 2.065). While, under the additive mode for CTLA-4, it was found that interactions existed between TT genotype of -1722T-->C and UV history (OR = 4.744, 95%CI: 1.037 - 21.737), as well as between TC genotype of -1722T-->C and UV history (OR = 4.973, 95%CI: 1.110 - 22.287)., Conclusion: The interactions between UV history and polymorphisms of CTLA-4 and PDCD-1 gene for SLE were observed, which indicates that there may be association of their interactions with the development of SLE in Han nationality females population in the south regions of Changjiang River in China.

Along with the general improving of public consciousness on drugs' safety and the increasing of new Chinese drugs' manufacture and application, the safety of Chinese drugs has become a more prominent concern and a focus of attention. The scientific identification, analysis and evaluation of this affairs greatly impacts the scientific decision-making for ensuring the public use of drugs in security, also influences the healthy development of Chinese medicine industry. In this paper, the different meanings of "adverse reaction" and "adverse events" of Chinese drugs were introduced from pharmacovigilance idealistic view, and the influencing factors on safety of Chinese drugs were analyzed from the perspective of pharmacovigilance. The authors proposed that "Chinese medicine safety monitoring and evaluation" is a much more practical concept in consistency with the current situation. They pointed out that introducing sufficiently the concept of pharmaco vigilance idea into the safety monitoring and evaluation process is the basis for overall evaluation and effective risk controlling of Chinese drugs.

By using totally locating method and single tree competition index model, this paper studied the competition intensity of Mongolian pine forests in Hulun Buir sand region of Inner Mongolia, with the fire-disturbed Mongolian pine forest as a case. The results showed that within the same sampling plots, dead trees had the similar competition intensity, while the accompanying species in living and whole stems had two or three times higher competition intensity than Mongolian pine. The competition stress of Mongolian pine mainly came from intra-specific, and that of accompanying species mainly came from inter-specific. The competition intensity of living Mongolian pine was significantly lower in fire-disturbed than in undisturbed plot, and the competition intensity (CI) of living stems had a power functional relationship with their diameter at breast height (D), i.e., CI = AD(-B). It was concluded that surface fire could significantly decrease the competition intensity among the stems, which would benefit the growth and development of living stems and the culture of the stems with larger diameter of breast height.

Based on the numeric attributes of 114 typical nature reserves in China, a new category system was established by using cluster analysis method. Compared with the China national category system of nature reserves, the new category system was simpler and more applicable. The 4 categories in the new system matched well to the categories I , II , IV, and V in IUCN category system, respectively. The new category system, characterized by the consistency of category criteria and scale, could avoid the deviation caused by subjective category to some degree, and provide a quantitative standard for the classification of nature reserves in China.

Objective: To study hypertension control, follow up and the factors associated with the rate of hypertension control., Methods: Through a community-based study, the routine data were collected through a community hypertension managing software for one year., Results: There were 3375 hypertension patients above 60 years old recruited in the information system. In the baseline, the rate of blood pressure control was 63.5%, and arranging intervals up to 6 months was 66.9%. Hypertension control rate for the baseline, the third month and the sixth month was 61.8%, 62.4% and 61.6%, respectively (chi2 = 0.16, P = 0.69). Among hypertensives whose blood pressure was stabilized in baseline, hypertension control rates for the third month and the sixth month was 72.9.8% and 72.1%, respectively (chi2 = 0.26, P = 0.61). Blood pressure stabilized over 6 months in comparing with others, and the proportion for regular taking medication was 96.2% and 97.7% (chi2 = 3.58, P = 0.06). The proportion for physical activity, less salt intake, weight control was significantly higher in the patients whose blood pressure control well over 6 month., Conclusion: Rate of blood pressure control among elderly patient with hypertension who frequently consults the doctor in the community is high. Ineffectiveness in systolic and diabetes control is the important factor, which decreases the rate of blood pressure. Physical activity, less salt intake, and weight control are of help to hypertension control. For those, the blood pressure are stabilized, a follow up with 3 to 6 months interval is appropriate.

Using an estrogen-inducible expression XVE (LexA-VP16-Estragon Receptor) system, we have generated approximately 40 000 independent T-DNA insertion lines of Arabidopsis thaliana. Segregation analyses of about 18000 lines indicated that 51.6% of them contain single T-DNA insertions and that the average insertion number is 1.38 copies per line. Mutants displaying a variety of morphological alterations were identified, including those that affect development of roots,hypocotyls, leaves, floral organs and seeds as well as the flowering time.

With the wide usage of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and the diversity of its dosage-forms, the reports about adverse reaction (ADR) caused by TCM were gradually increased. As the cradle of TCM with tremendous manufacturing enterprise engaged for this purpose, to establish and perfect the TCM ADR monitoring is the problem that TCM industry should face to. In this paper, the key point of TCM ADR monitoring was made clear by analysing the current situation and the problems presented in TCM ADR monitoring in China, and indicated that the nowday developing goals of TCM ADR monitoring are to establish and perfect the technologic system for TCM ADR monitoring, strengthen the related basic research and enhance international communication and cooperation in this field.

Objective: To analyze the therapy of hypertensive outpatients among different grade hospitals in Beijing., Methods: Thirty-nine hospitals including 4 third grade hospitals, 4 second grade hospitals and 31 first grade hospitals in Beijing were selected randomly (by stratified randomization). The grade was accredited according to the hospital accreditation standard issued by Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China., Results: The average hypertension control rate (< 140/90 mm Hg, 1 mm Hg = 0.133 kPa) in outpatients was 32.3%. The hypertension control rate in the third grade, second grade, first grade hospitals were 37.7%, 36.9%, and 31.2% respectively. There was no difference in the control rate among the three different grade hospitals (P > 0.05). The frequency to use anti-hypertension drugs including long-acting calcium antagonism, ACEI, beta-receptor blocker in the third grade hospitals was significantly higher than those of the first and second grade hospitals. The rate of examination using ultrasonic cardiogram, CT, Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring were significantly higher in the third grade hospitals than that of the first and second grade hospitals. There were significant differences in annual cost of hypertension treatment among three different grade hospitals (P < 0.01), being the highest (1567.5 yuan) in the third grade hospitals, medium (845.4 yuan) in the second grade hospitals, the lowest (651.8 yuan) in the first grade hospitals., Conclusions: Significant difference in the cost of hypertensive treatment among three different grade hospitals exists in Beijing. However, there was no difference in the control rate among them. The overall hypertension control rate is 32.3%, leaving 67.7% uncontrolled. Efforts to increase the hypertension control rate should be made in all hospitals. How to guide and arrange the hypertension patients to consult a suitable hospital is important for rational and economical use of health cost.
