In this study, pectinase-extracted pectin (PPHP), mixed enzyme-extracted pectin (MPHP), and water-extracted pectin (WPHP) from Premna ligustrides Hemsl. leaves were prepared by pectinase-assisted extraction, pectinase and cellulase-assisted extraction and hot water extraction, respectively, and their molecular masses, monosaccharide compositions, infrared spectra, galacturonic acid contents, degrees of esterification were determined. In addition, their scavenging capacity against 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and 2,2’-azinobis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS) radical cation and Fe3+ reducing power were assayed, and their antibacterial effects on Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were explored. The results showed that the yields of WPHP, PPHP and MPHP were 5.11%, 6.45% and 8.91%, respectively. WPHP belonged to high-ester pectin, while MPHP and PPHP belonged to low-ester pectin. The weight-average molecular mass of pectin in the leaves of Premna ligustrides Hemsl was reduced by enzymatic treatment. The contents of total phenols and total flavonoids in MPHP were 17.09 and 26.46 mg/g, respectively, higher than those in WPHP and PPHP. All three pectins had strong scavenging capacities against DPPH radical and ABTS radical cation, among which MPHP had the strongest antioxidant activity. The results of in vitro antibacterial activity showed that MPHP had the best antibacterial effect on Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. These results provide a basis for further searching for the material basis of the antibacterial activity of pectin from Premna ligustroides Hemsl. leaves, and are of significance for the in-depth development and utilization of pectin from Premna ligustroides Hemsl. leaves.

China has the world’s largest fisheries industry that has provided a healthy and high-quality food source. Currently, guaranteeing national food security, implementing an all-encompassing approach to food, and establishing a diversified food supply system all pose a great demand for the high-quality development of China’s fisheries industry. This study explores the development status and trend of fisheries in China from the aspects of fishery resources and capture, aquaculture and marine ranching, and aquatic product processing and circulation, and examines major problems through industry research and extensive discussion. Industry development goals and key measures are further proposed. Results found that the pressure on offshore capture is too high, understanding of deep-sea and polar resources is insufficient, the independent capability of technologies and equipment is inadequate, the mechanized, automatic, and intelligent levels of aquaculture are low, high-quality feed and raw materials rely heavily on imports, the basic software and hardware capabilities of the intelligent fisheries are deficient, and the aquatic product processing capacity is lagging behind. Therefore, the following key measures are proposed: conservation and restoration of offshore fishery resources, development and scientific utilization of deep-sea fishery resources, construction and application of a new technology system for green and healthy aquaculture, research and application of deep-sea aquaculture platform technologies, construction and promotion of new aquaculture models, and green processing and high-value utilization of aquatic products.Through the high-quality development of fisheries, China is expected to become advantageous in fisheries science and technology by 2035, with a total output of 8.1×107 t of aquatic products. By 2050, intelligent fisheries is expected to be realized in China, outputting 1×108 t of aquatic products.

Since the 1930s, the construction of marine ranching has successively experienced the version 1.0 (traditional marine ranching) of farming-ranching and engineering, and the version 2.0 (marine ecological ranching) of ecologization and informatization, and now it is about to enter the version 3.0 (global aquatic ecological ranching) of digitalization and systematization, which covers seawater and fresh water. Marine ranching version 3.0 must adhere to the modern aquatic ecological ranching development concept of "ecology, precision, intelligence, integration", characterized by synchronous protection and utilization, expansion of scene and space, breakthrough in core technology, and innovation in development patterns. After establishing the whole industrial technology chain of scientific site selection, layout planning, habitat restoration, bio-resource conservation, safety protection and integrative development, a "modern upgraded version" of marine ranching will be established in the northern waters, a "strategic new space" of marine ranching will be expanded in the southern waters, and a new trial of freshwater ranching will be started, so as to support the construction of national marine ranching demonstration zone and lead the construction and development of aquatic ecological ranching around the world. As the only inland sea of China, Bohai Sea has been regarded as the integrated part of the national territorial space toward green and high-quality development in the new era. The comprehensive environmental treatment in Bohai Sea has achieved noticeable progress, but the problems remain. The trend of biological and ecological degradation of Bohai Sea has not been fundamentally curbed. Guided by President Xi Jinping thought on ecological civilization and on building a maritime community with a shared future, China should join into the Implementation Plan for the United Nations Decade of Marine Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030), and manage to formulate Bohai Sea Decade Action Plan for Green and High-quality Development. The proposed action plan should aim at establishing "Clean Bohai Sea", "Ecological Bohai Sea", "Low-carbon Bohai Sea", and "High-quality Bohai Sea", and enhancing special projects in terms of science and technology, ecology, industry, and management. A method was developed for the simultaneous determination of 9 heterocyclic aromatic amines (HAAs) including 2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f] quinoline (IQ), 2-amino-3,4-dimethylimidazo[4, 5-f] quinoline (MeIQ), 2-amino-3, 8-dimethylimidazo [4, 5-f] quinoxaline (MeIQx), 2-amino-3, 4, 8-trimethyl-imidazo [4,5-f quinoxaline (4,8-DiMeIQx), 2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo [4,5-b] pyridine (PhIP), 3-amino-1 -methyl-5H-pyrido [4, 3-b] indole (Trp-p-2), 3-amino-1, 4-dimethyl-5H-pyrido [4,3-b] indole (Trp-p-1), 9H-pyrido [3,4-b] indole (Norharman), 1-methyl-9H-pyrido 3, 4-b] indole (Harman)) in poultry products using solid-phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography (SPE-HPLC). The performance of 3 different organic extraction solutions, 2 solid phase extraction (SPE) procedures, three different reversed-phase columns and five different mobile phases were tested for optimizing separation conditions of the 9 HAAs from poultry products. In the end, ethyl acetate was selected as the extraction solution, and the extract was purified with propylsulfonic acid silica (PRS) and C18 SPE columns. The analysis was performed on a TSK-gel ODS-80TM column using a gradient elution with the mobile phases of 0.05 mol/L aqueous acetic acid-ammonium acetate buffer (pH 3.4) and acetonitrile. The results showed that the average recoveries (n = 6) of the 9 HAAs spiked in meat samples at 3 levels ranged from 60.47% to 90.55% with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) between 0.49% and 9.74%, and the limits of detection (LODs, S/N = 3) were in the range of 0.1 - 3.6 microg/kg. The method is simple, rapid, accurate and sensitive enough for the analysis of HAAs in poultry products.

Objective: To study the effect and function of P16 protein during the development of lung cancer, in order to explore the differences of expression of P16 protein in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) between Xuanwei and Kunming district., Methods: 45 patients with NSCLC from Xuanwei and 45 patients from Kunming,18 patients from pneumatocele who underwent radical resection were collected. Immunohistochemical staining were used to analyze the expressions of P16 protein in paraffin-embedded tissues from these 90 residing patients with lung cancer., Results: 45 cases with lung cancer were negative for P16 protein expression, total loss expression rates were 41.7% (45/108). Loss expression rates of Xuanwei,Kunming and pneumatocele were 57.8% (26/45), 37.8% (17/45), 11.1% (2/18), respectively. In comparition the loss expression of P16 protein in clinicopathologic characteristics between the two groups, there were some statistically significant differences in the loss expression rate of P16 (P < 0.05): the loss expression rate of P16 in cases with stage I, adenocarcinoma and stage T2 in Xuanwei were more higher than those in Kunming; the loss expression rates of P16 in Xuanwei and Kungming were more higher than those in pneumatocele respectively., Conclusion: Loss expression rates of P16 protein in the early stage and adenocarcinoma in Xuanwei lung cancer group were significant difference compared with in Kunming lung cancer group.

The physiological responses of scallop Chlamys farreri to changing environmental conditions were researched in semi-field water-flowing system, based on a recently developed biodeposition method. There was no significant relationship between clearance rate and stocking density or food concentration. The absorption efficiency of the scallops was not markedly affected by the stocking density and the POM. The mean POM absorption efficiency was 75.9% and relatively high, which could be attributed to low food concentration. The energy loss by excretion of amino acid was higher than that by the excretion of ammonia. The gross ecological efficiency of N (mean value 9.9%) was higher than that of C (mean value 5.9%) or P (mean value 4.1%). In the nitrogen budget, if only NH4(+)-N was considered and other forms of nitrogen such as amino acids were neglected, a significant error (a mean about of 20%) could arise. It was suggested that whether in energy or element budget, the shell should not be neglected. In coastal intensive raft-culture areas, scallops might give great impact on energy flow and cyclings of matter and nutrient by filtration, respiration, excretion, egestion (biodeposition production) and growth.

Researches on phosphorus recoveries from NaH2PO4 and (NaPO3)n (n > or = 2) after ignition at temperature from 150 degrees C to 550 degrees C with auxiliary, such as MgSO4, Mg(NO3)2, MgCl2, MgAc2, CaCl2 and so on, were finished. It was found that the phosphorus can not be completely recovered when NaH2PO4 or (NaPO3)n (n > or = 2) was ignited together with MgSO4 at routine ashing temperature (500 degrees C) with the final mixture extracted with 0.2 mol/L HCl at 80 degrees C for 0.5 h. In contrast, MgCl2, MgAc2, Mg(NO3)2 and CaCl2 can all make the phosphorus recoveries completely. MgCl2 (or MgAc2) rather than MgSO4 in the research was suggested. To be utilized as ashing auxiliary in the phosphorus determination with ignition method. Although Mg(NO3)2 is a highly effective auxiliary, yet danger of explosion, toxicity of nitrogen dioxide and more manipulation steps may impede its widespread utilization.
