In order to deeply study the influence of parallel misalignment failure on fatigue life of pin couplings with elastic sleeves, on the basis of transient dynamic analysis, the influence of different degrees of parallel misalignment on fatigue life is obtained. Based on transient dynamic fatigue analysis data, combined with the differential autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model, the fatigue life prediction of pin couplings with elastic sleeves is realized. The results show that the minimum fatigue life of pin couplings with elastic sleeves decreases with the increase of the degree of parallel misalignment, and when the degree of parallel misalignment is less than 2.63%, the decrease of minimum fatigue life increases gradually. The predicted fatigue life of 4.74% parallel misalignment is 1.214 0×106, and the relative error between the predicted value and the simulation value is 0.22%, indicating the reliability of the ARIMA model in predicting fatigue life. The research results can provide guidance for the anti-fatigue optimization design of pin couplings with elastic sleeves.

In order to optimize the measurement conditions of 55Fe by liquid scintillation counting, the effect of three kinds of commercial scintillation cocktail and two efficiency correction methods on LSC measurements of 55Fe was tested. Configuration of 55Fe samples with the same matrix as after radiochemical treatment for measurement, Ultima Gold AB has the highest sample loading among the three kinds of scintillation cocktail; the counting efficiency of Ultima Gold LLT is the highest and the MDA is the lowest under different miscibility ratios, and the maximum detection efficiency of Ultima Gold LLT is 49.1% when the miscibility ratio is 1∶4, while the MDA is 0.12 Bq. If the sample uses scintillation cocktail different from the quenched standard source, it will have an impact on the accuracy of the results, with an absolute value of maximum average relative deviation is 3.55% between the measured and expected values under experimental conditions. Comparing the two quenching calibration methods of tSIE and TDCR, the TDCR method can eliminate the influence caused by the simultaneous presence of color and chemical quenching on the 55Fe LSC measurement results, and is a more accurate method for measuring 55Fe. The relative deviations between the measured and expected values obtained from the color and chemical quenching calibration curves are -0.35% to 0.40% and -0.91% to -0.16%, respectively, as verified by the spiked samples.

Objective To compare the hyoid bone position among patients with different sagittal skeletal malocclusions to provide a reference for clinicians to formulate treatment plans. Methods Lateral cephalograms of 284 orthodontic patients were selected. According to ANB angles, the types of skeletal malocclusion of patients were determined as follows: Class Ⅰ (1° ≤ ANB ≤ 5°), Class Ⅱ (ANB>5°) and Class Ⅲ (ANB0.05). The angle between the Gonion-hyoid point line and the hyoid point-Menton line (Go-Hy-Me) of Class Ⅱ patients was significantly smaller than that of Class Ⅰ patients, and the angle between the most anterior and inferior point of the third cervical vertebra-hyoid point line and the hyoid point-Sella line (C3-Hy-S) of Class Ⅲ patients was smaller than that of Class I patients (P0.05). Conclusions Compared with Class Ⅰ patients, the hyoid bone of Class Ⅱ patients in adult females was farther away from the mandible and that of Class Ⅲ patients in juveniles was farther away from the cervical vertebra and posterior cranial base.

Both moving target defense and cyber deception defense protect their own systems and networks by increasing the uncertainty of information acquired by attackers.They can slow down network reconnaissance attacks to a certain extent.However,a single moving target defense technology cannot prevent attackers who use multiple information to conduct network intrusions.Meanwhile,the deployed decoy node may be identified and marked by the attacker,thereby reducing the defense effectiveness.Therefore,this paper proposes a hybrid defense mechanism combining moving target defense and cyber deception defens.Through in-depth analysis of actual network confrontation,a network intrusion threat model is constructed.Finally,a defense effectiveness evaluation model based on the Urn model is built.In addition,this paper evaluates the defense performance of the proposed hybrid defense method from multiple aspects such as virtual network topology size,deception probability of decoy nodes,IP address randomization period,IP address transfer probability,etc.,and provides reference and guidance for subsequent defense strategy design.

Objective: It was the method of evaluating regional food safety status through food safety evaluation index model. Methods: In the index model, various factors affecting food safety, such as the size of the city, the types of food, the hazards of the test items, the place of production, etc., were comprehensively considered, and a variety of data sources were used to support the model. Using this model, the results of food safety index could be calculated from multiple angles and different levels, such as region, food category, region and food category. Results: Sampling data of Guangxi food safety assessment in 2021 had been utilized for empirical research. The classic large sample estimation method and empirical Bayesian estimation method had been applied for model calculation. It was found that the results from these two methods had a certain differences, but both methods got the same results showing that restaurant and catering food safety was significantly poorer than other food categories. In addition, the Bayesian estimation method could effectively solve the calculation problem when the pass rate was 100% or the values were largely close. Conclusion: The model could calculate the food safety index results from multiple angles and different levels, such as regions, food types.

Targeted alpha therapy(TAT) is a promising approach for the treatment of cancer and it is under fast development in the past few decades. Owing to the high linear energy transfer(LET), short path length, high relative biological effect and cytotoxicity of α particles, TAT is especially suitable for small neoplasms, disseminated tumor and micro metastases. However, the poor availability, complicated radiochemical separation and purification process of alpha radionuclides have long stunted the development of TAT. Focusing on the availability of medical alpha radionuclides, this paper reviews the literature concerning the physical properties, preparation routes and purification methods of some alpha radionuclides(225Ac, 213Bi, 212Pb, 212Bi, 227Th, 223Ra, 230U, 226Th, 211At, 149Tb) that have potential applications in targeted alpha therapy.

Ellipticity is an important indicator for measuring the deformation of subway shield tunnel segments. The key to ellipticity analysis is the points on the inner wall of the tunnel. Because there are rail beds and pipelines in the subway tunnel, there are many non-inner wall points in the tunnel point cloud with varying distances from the inner wall, which will affect the analysis of ellipticity. Currently, the commonly used method is to use a straight-through filter to process rail beds, but the effect is not good when there is a large clearance between the rails and the bed. For other attachments, the distance threshold method is used, but there is a difficulty in accurately determining the threshold in advance. This paper proposed a distance threshold elimination method for rail bed points and a grading weighting elimination algorithm for attachment points, based on the distribution characteristics of the shield tunnel point cloud. The method ensured that the points used in ellipticity calculation were all inner wall points, improving the accuracy of subway shield tunnel ellipticity analysis. Simulation data shows that the MAE of ellipticity obtained by the algorithm proposed in this paper is 0.085‰, which is better than the direct least squares method and RANSAC algorithm. Based on laser point clouds of 56 single-ring subway tunnels, the performance of the algorithm is tested, with the average MAE of ellipticity for each ring being 0.174‰ and the average standard deviation of ellipticity for each ring being 0.216‰, which is respectively 19.1% and 19.7% higher than the RANSAC algorithm. This demonstrates that the proposed method can effectively eliminate the influence of non-inner wall points in subway tunnel point clouds, and the ellipticity calculation results are robust. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are a kind of stem cells with high self-renewal ability and multi-directional differentiation potential. They can differentiate into a variety of different cells. Studies have shown that mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes (MSC-EXO) are the main components of tumor microenvironment and play an important role in the occurrence and development of malignant tumors. Exosomes are a kind of extracellular vesicles secreted by eukaryotic cells; they can transmit bioactive molecules such as lipids, nucleic acids and proteins between cells, and they widely participate in the exchange of information between cells. This article reviews the role of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes in malignant tumors and their application prospect.

In order to conduct dynamic health assessment for the roller bearing and describe the dynamic process of its performance degradation accurately,by using the method of combining the Self-organizing map（ SOM） and restricted Boltzmann machine（ RBM） to implement the health assessment of rolling bearing. With the consideration of degradation induced changes for response features,unsupervised learning scheme based on SOM,with the help of multi-domain feature sets consist of features in time domain,frequency domain and time-frequency domain,the optimal feature domain is constructed by sorting the diverse features adopting the sequential forward selection（ SFS） regulation,the mapping relationship between the selected feature vectors and bearing health status is obtained. To avoid the problems of being easy to be run into local optimum,parameter adjustment difficulties and a long training process,when conducting the learning process using traditional neural network algorithms,the model for health assessment is constructed by using the RBM as an alternative.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can identify the health status of rolling bearing during the dynamic process of performance degradation with a good engineering applicability.

Gut microbiome is related to many major human diseases, and it is of great significance to study the differences in the structure of gut microbiome under different conditions. Due to the phenomenon of zero expansion of the flora data, geometric mean of pairwise ratios (GMPR) was firstly used to normalize the gut microbiome data. This study proposes an improved Spectrum algorithm using the type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) dataset being taken as example. Firstly, a similarity matrix based on feature weighting was used, which can avoid ignoring the weights occupied by the different eigenvalue sizes corresponding to each sample/feature in that sample; secondly, the Laplacian matrix was replaced by the Hessian matrix, which can avoid the sensitivity problem of traditional spectral clustering; the original K-means algorithm was replaced by the ISODATA clustering algorithm, the number of clustering centers K can be effectively adjusted. The experimental results showed that normalized mutual information (NMI) is 0.423, Davies-Boulding index (DBI) is 4.751, the Calinski-Harabasz index (CH) is 25.541, Rand index (RI) is 0.835 and the adjusted Rand index (ARI) is 0.019, which was improved compared with the effect before the improvement, and the algorithm could identify the structural differences in the intestinal flora of different types of patients, unearth the key bacteria of the gut microbiome. In the present experiment, natural clay minerals are modified, which were optimized to compound with sodium humate and phenolic resin. Thereby, clay mineral composite materials are prepared, based on which, investigation of the solidification effects of different clay minerals on Mn in electrolytic manganese residue and their adsorption characteristics of Mn2+ in water phase were carried out. As a result, with the added amount of clay mineral composite materials equals 10%, the curing efficiency of kaolin, montmorillonite and illite is merely 24.5%, but after the modification process with sodium sulfite or nitric acid, the curing efficiency is raised to 38.1%; furthermore, by compounding with sodium humate and phenolic resin, the Mn curing efficiency of clay mineral composites in electrolytic manganese residue can significantly improve, being up to 67.1%. According to the adsorption experiment, the adsorption characteristics of Mn2+ on clay mineral composites better conform to Langmuir adsorption model than to Freundlich adsorption model; and the saturated adsorption capacity is as high as 14.458 mg/g, which is obviously better than that of humic acid materials. To further understand the relationship between gut microbiota and liver and kidney biochemical indicators in patients with type 2 diabetes with diarrhea. We collected the flora data and liver and kidney index data of 26 patients with type 2 diabetes with diarrhea and 26 patients with type 2 diabetes. One-way variance analysis was used to analyze the differences in liver and kidney indexes between the two groups; linear regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between liver and kidney indicators and gut microbial alpha diversity; PERMANOVA was used to analyze the difference in structure of gut microbial β diversity; then Spearman rank correlation test was used to analyze the relationship between liver and kidney biochemical indexes and gut microbiota. The results showed that there were significant differences in triglyceride (TG) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in liver and kidney indexes between the two groups (P=0.006, P=0.003); the increase of serum bilirubin in patients with type 2 diabetes with diarrhea was related to the decrease of the species diversity of the intestinal flora; Bacteroides, Lacetospirillum, and Prevotella in type 2 diabetes patients with diarrhea decreased, whereas Rumenaceae significantly increased. In addition, Laospirillaceae and Rumenomycetes were positively correlated with serum bilirubin, which was related to the decrease of TG and has nothing to do with the increase of BUN. There is a relationship between liver and kidney indexes of patients with type 2 diabetes with diarrhea and gut microbiota, and these bacteria can provide new targets for the treatment of type 2 diabetes with diarrhea. Wind and sand movement changes the composition of surface sediments, and changes the geochemical characteristics of sediments. The surface sediments of Gobi and Shaji depression on the edge of the alluvial fan in Suhongtu are selected to test the minerals and geochemical elements of different components based on the X-ray diffractometer and SEM energy spectrometer. The results show that wind erosion and wind deposition are different in different surface sediments due to wind-sand movement, but they are in the initial and intermediate stages of chemical weathering and are similar. Quartz, feldspar, mica, calcite and other minerals are the main components of the gravel surface with different grain sizes. The chemical elements in this area are mainly SiO2, AL2O3 and Fe2O3, accounting for about 85% of the total. The larger the particle size is, the more SiO2 content is. Fe2O3, MgO, CaO, TiO2 and other oxides are enriched in the fine particles, while AL2O3, K2O and Na2O have no significant difference with the particle size. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To investigate the relationship among plasma slit guidance ligand 2 (slit2) and pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods A total of 143 subjects recruited in Department of Endocrinology of Xinqiao Hospital from Jun 2017 to Dec 2017, 51 patients diagnosed with newly T2DM (T2DM group, 27 male, 24 female), 39 patients diagnosed with pre-diabetes (pre-DM group, 15 male, 24 female), and 53 subjects diagnosed with normal glucose tolerance (NGT group, 18 male, 35 female). Clinical data were collected, intravenous glucose tolerance test were examined and fasting plasma slit2 was assayed by ELISA. Acute insulin response (AIR), the area under the curve of the first-phase (0- 10 min) insulin secretion (AUC), glucose disposition index (GDI), homeostasis model assessment for β cell function index (HOMA-β), and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) were measured. Results (1) The levels of slit2 in T2DM group and pre-DM group were significantly higher than those in NGT group respectively [(2.9± 2.2), (3.0±2.8) vs (1.6±1.3) µg/L, t=3.45, 3.35, both P<0.01] . (2) Slit2 was positively correlated with body mass index, waist circumference, fasting plasma glucose, 2 h plasma glucose, glycated hemoglobin A1c, fasting insulin, HOMA-IR and triglycerides (r=0.174- 0.389, all P<0.05), and negatively correlated with AUC, AIR, GDI (r=-0.485--0.438, all P<0.01). (3) Multiple logistic regression analysis did not show the relationship between slit2 and T2DM after HOMA-IR, AIR, AUC and GDI were corrected respectively (OR=0.857-4.482, P>0.05). Conclusion The concentrations of plasma slit2 are closely correlated with glycol metabolism status which increased in patients with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes. The association between slit2 and diabetes is affected by insulin resistance and the first-phase of glucose-stimulated pancreatic β-cell function. Slit2 may be proposed as an indicator for glucose tolerance status, and it may be involved in the mechanism of type 2 diabetes mellitus. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aiming at the problem of optimal advertising and pricing in a dynamic durable goods supply chain, this paper developed a differential games model. The cumulative sales is used as state variable, and we considered the effect of advertising and retail price on the dynamic equation of sales. Using the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation, we obtained the optimal advertising and pricing of retail and the optimal feedback subsidy rate of the manufacturer, and show how they are influenced by market parameters. An important finding is that the subsidy of manufacturer and optimal pricing of retail are constants. The optimal advertising investment of retail decreased with increasing the cumulative sales. And we gave the subsidy threshold that the manufacturer should support its retailer advertising. Polyp detection in CT Colongraphy suffers from imbalanced data sets where negative samples (non-polyp) are dominant. In data level, SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique) was applied to alleviate imbalanced degree by synthetic minority samples. In algorithm level, Boosting approach was employed in order to improve classification performance. Having combined Boosting with SMOTE (SMOTEBoost), the proposed classifier not only improved the prediction of the minority samples, but also guaranteed the accuracy over the entire data set. To satisfy real-time requirements for polyp detection, MRMR (Minimum Redundancy Maximum Relevance) was provided to select low-cost simple features for training the first stage of cascade, resulting in refusing the great majority negative samples and speeding procession. The experimental results showed that the classifier could achieve an overall per-polyp sensitivity of 90% (corresponding to the polyp whose diameter is equal to or greater than 5 mm), with false positives of 6 per volume on average. A new image edge detection algorithm which is based on the theory of fuzzy gradient is proposed in the paper. The steps of the algorithm is as follows: firstly, the original gray image is changed into fuzzy matrix by the normalized tangent function; secondly, gradient matrix of the fuzzy matrix mentioned above is computed; thirdly, the fuzzy gradient matrix which is also called fuzzy set of the gradient matrix is obtained using sine function; and in the end, appropriate threshold which is identified by genetic algorithm based on normalized real-coded is used to segment the fuzzy gradient set into two subsets: the edge point set and non-edge point set. At this point, the image edge points are obtained. To test the speed and accuracy of the algorithm for detecting edge of micro-part image, the experiments have been done taking different kinds of micro-gear as the subjects. The experimental results show that the detecting accuracy is better than 10µs and the processing time is generally about 1 s. To increase the computation efficiency of multi-scale retinex method (MSR) in image enhancement, in which the Gaussian convolution has to be used for several times, especially when large scale Gaussian convolution template is used to get the low-frequency information of image, the convolution template is simplified as mean template because the Gaussian template of large scale Gaussian convolution has the property of mean template. Furthermore, a filter window irrelevant mean filtering algorithm is proposed to fulfill and speed up the filtering process. It employs an array s to storage each column pixel value of current filtering rows and consequently reduces the redundant calculation. Taking the 640 x 640 color image as an example, the processing time is only 0.0867 s and it is 723 times faster than original MSR method. It can be seen from the analysis of experiment that the new proposed method can greatly improve the computing efficiency and fulfill the image enhancement remarkably. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the anterior and posterior occlusal plane characteristics of patients with different temporomandibular joint osseous statuses., Methods: A total of 306 patients with initial cone beam CT (CBCT) and cephalograms were included. They were divided into three groups on the basis of their temporomandibular joint osseous status: bilateral normal (BN) group, indeterminate for osteoarthrosis (I) group, and osteoarthrosis (OA) group. The anterior and posterior occlusal planes (AOP and POP) of the different groups were compared. Then, the regression equation was established after adjusting for confounding factors, and a correlation analysis between the occlusion planes and other parameters was performed., Results: SNA, SNB, FMA, SN-MP, Ar-Go, and S-Go were correlated with the occlusal planes. Relative to the BN and I groups, the FH-OP of the OA group increased by 1.67° on the average, FH-POP increased by 1.42° on the average, and FH-AOP increased by 2.05° on the average., Conclusions: The occlusal planes were steeper in the patients with temporomandibular osteoarthrosis than in the patients without it, and the mandible rotated downward and backward. The height of the mandibular ramus, the mandibular body length, and the posterior face height were small. In clinical practice, attention should be given to the potential risk of temporomandibular joint osteoarthrosis in such patients. In addition, SNB, FMA, SN-MP, Ar-Go, S-Go, and occlusal planes had moderate correlations.

Objective: To investigate the effect and mechanism of artesunate (ARTS) combined with cytarabine(Ara-C) and/or daunorubicin (DNR) on the proliferation and apoptosis of MV4-11 human mixed-lineage leukemia rearranged（MLL-r） acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cell line., Methods: CCK-8 assay was used to detect the proliferation effect of individual or in combination of ARTS, DNR, Ara-C on MV4-11 cells. The IC 50 of ARTS, DNR and Ara-C was calculated separately. The cell apoptosis and expression of receptors DR4 and DR5 were detected by flow cytometry. Western blot was used to detect the expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 in each groups., Results: The inhibition effect of ARTS, Ara-C and DNR on the proliferation of MV4-11 were all dose-dependently ( r =0.99, 0.90 and 0.97, respectively). The IC 50 of ARTS, Ara-C and DNR on MV4-11 for 48 hours were 0.31 μg/ml, 1.43 μmol/L and 22.47 nmol/L, respectively. At the dose of ARTS 0.3 μg/ml， Ara-C 1.0 μmol/L and DNR 15 nmol/L, the proliferation rate for 48 hours of the tri-combination treatment was significantly lower than that of the bi-combination treatment, while both were significantly lower than that of the individual treatment (all P ＜0.05). In terms of bi-combination treatment, the cells proliferation rate for 48 hours of the ARTS+Ara-C group was significantly lower than that of the ARTS+DNR group, while both were significantly lower than that of the Ara-C+DNR group (all P ＜0.05). The cooperativity index (CI) of bi- and tri-combination treatment were all less than 1. After 48 hours of drug action, the cell apoptosis rate of the ARTS+DNR+Ara-C group was significantly higher than that of the Ara-C+DNR group, while both were significantly higher than that of the ARTS+DNR group (all P ＜0.05). Meanwhile, the was no statistical difference between the cells apoptotic rate of the ARTS+DNR+Ara-C group and the ARTS+Ara-C group ( P >0.05). The expression of DR4 and DR5 also showed no difference between control group and drug group. Compared with the DNR+Ara-C group, the expressions of Caspase-3 were significantly down-regulated in both the ARTS+DNR+Ara-C group and the ARTS+Ara-C group (all P ＜0.05). The down-regulation of Caspase-3 expression was the most significantly in the combination group of three drugs, while the Caspase-9 expressions in different groups showed no apparent change., Conclusion: The in vitro study showed that tri-combination of ARTS+Ara-C+DNR and bi-combination of ARTS+Ara-C could inhibit the proliferation and promote apoptosis of MV4-11 cell line. The inhibition effect of these two combinations were significantly superior to that of the traditional Ara-C+DNR treatment. The mechanism underlying this finding may be identified by the down regulation of Caspase-3, while no altered expression was observed of Caspase-9, DR4 and DR5.

Objective: To investigate clinical effect of sternoclavicular hook plate in treating acute proximal clavicle fracture., Methods: The clinical of 12 patients with acute unstable proximal clavicle fracture from June 2016 to June 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 8 males and 4 females, aged from 46 to 63 years old. Ten patients caused by car accident and 2 patients caused by high falling. All patients had multiple injuries;the time from injury to surgery ranged from 2 to 14 d. All patients were treated with domestic sternoclavicular joint hook plate. The operative time ranged from 40 to 115 min. The intraoperative bleeding volume ranged from 30 to 110 ml, follow-up time ranged from 10 to 36 months, the fracture healing time ranged from 8 to 18 weeks. At the latest follow-up, the efficacy was evaluated by using shoulder joint function score (Rockwood score)., Results: All 12 patients were followed up, with no obvious pain at the latest follow-up. The rockwood scores of the affected shoulder ranged from 13 to 14, and the healthy shoulder ranged from 14 to 15., Conclusion: The sternocleidoclavicular joint plate is fixed with preformed plate. The cantilever is designed to retain the motion of the sternoclavicular joint. It's safe and simple, avoid, the injury of important organs during operation, and has a good prognosis. It is an ideal fixation method for the treatment of proximal clavicle fracture.

Objectives: To evaluate the size and shape of sella turcica and cranial base in patients with different degrees of congenital absence of teeth., Methods: The subjects comprised 322 patients from the Department of Orthodontics, West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University from 2020 to 2021. Based on the number of congenital absence of teeth, the patients were divided into three groups: control group (without loss of teeth, n =112), group Ⅰ (loss of 1-2 teeth, n =104), and group Ⅱ (loss of 3 or more teeth, n =106). Uceph cephalometric software was used to measure the linear and angular parameters of cranial base. The length, depth, and diameter of sella turcica were also calculated. The shape of sella turcica was described as normal or with aberrations. Analysis of variance, Kruskal-Wallis H test, chi-square test, and Fisher's exact test were conducted with SPSS 21.0., Results: No statistical differences were observed in the length, depth, and diameter of sella turcica and parameters related to the cranial base among the three groups ( P >0.05). The incidence of sella turcica bridge among the three groups was statistically significant ( P =0.013). The incidence was higher in the study group compared with the control group ( P <0.05), and no significant difference was observed between groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ ( P >0.05)., Conclusions: Although the linear size of sella turcica and parameters related to the cranial base was not statistically different between normal subjects and patients with congenital absence of teeth, the incidence of sella turcica bridge was higher in patients with congenital absence of teeth, suggesting the possibly abnormal anatomical morphology of sella turcica in this population.

Brain-computer interface (BCI) based on functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) is a new-type human-computer interaction technique. To explore the separability of fNIRS signals in different motor imageries on the single limb, the study measured the fNIRS signals of 15 subjects (amateur football fans) during three different motor imageries of the right foot (passing, stopping and shooting). And the correlation coefficient of the HbO signal during different motor imageries was extracted as features for the input of a three-classification model based on support vector machines. The results found that the classification accuracy of the three motor imageries of the right foot was 78.89%±6.161%. The classification accuracy of the two-classification of motor imageries of the right foot, that is, passing and stopping, passing and shooting, and stopping and shooting was 85.17%±4.768%, 82.33%±6.011%, and 89.33%±6.713%, respectively. The results demonstrate that the fNIRS of different motor imageries of the single limb is separable, which is expected to add new control commands to fNIRS-BCI and also provide a new option for rehabilitation training and control peripherals for unilateral stroke patients. Besides, the study also confirms that the correlation coefficient can be used as an effective feature to classify different motor imageries.

Objective: To explore the effects of curcumin (CCM) on tumor growth and immune function in mice bearing RM-1 prostate cancer cells., Methods: A prostate cancer model was established in 50 C57BL/6 mice by subcutaneous inoculation of RM-1 cells. The model mice were randomly assigned to intraperitoneal injection of 10% dimethyl sulfoxide at 0.2 ml (the model control group), cyclophosphamide at 20 mg/kg (the CTX group), or CCM at 50 mg/kg (the low-dose CCM group), 100 mg/kg (the medium-dose CCM group) or 200 mg/kg (the high-dose CCM group), respectively, all once a day for 14 successive days, followed by measurement of the tumor weight, calculation of the tumor-inhibition rate, and detection of immunological indicators., Results: The tumor weight was significantly decreased in the CTX (［1.32 ± 0.06］ g), low-dose CCM (［1.1.54 ± 0.08］ g), medium-dose CCM (［1.48 ± 0.08］ g), and high-dose CCM groups (［1.42 ± 0.07］ g) as compared with that in the model control group (［2.09 ± 0.10］ g) (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), with no statistically significant differences among the former four groups (P > 0.05). The tumor-inhibition rates in the CTX and low-, medium- and high-dose CCM groups were 36.84%, 27.27%, 29.18% and 32.06%, respectively. All the immunological indicators except the CD4+/CD8+ ratio were remarkably reduced in the CTX group as compared with those in the model control (P < 0.01), but increased in the CCM groups in comparison with those in the CTX group (P < 0.01)., Conclusions: Curcumin has an anti-tumor effect and enhances immune function in prostate cancer-bearing mice.

Normal development of the cerebral cortex is a basis for the formation and function of mammalian brains. During this process, the radial migration of cortical neurons, as well as the axon projection into specific layers, are the most important steps regulated by some transcription factors, but the underlying molecular mechanisms are still obscure. BMAL1 (brain and muscle Arnt-like protein 1) is a newly identified transcription factor that plays important roles in the circadian rhythms. It was recently found to regulate the proliferation of hippocampal neuronal progenitor/precursor cells (NPCs), implicating Bmal1 in the brain development. Here we employed both RT-RCR and real-time PCR to explore the expression pattern of the Bmal1 gene in the developing brain. We found BMAl1 is enriched in the brain cortex during the perinatal stages and peaked in P3 mouse brains. Combined with in utero electroporation and interference with RNAi, we found that reducing the expression level of Bmal1 in neurons, the radial migration of embryonic cortical neurons was largely delayed, in a gene dose-effect pattern. Moreover, reducing the level of Bmal1 expression in mouse brains, the axonal projection in the corpus callosum was also disrupted from ipsilateral to the lateral cerebral hemisphere. These findings indicate that BMAL1 is essential for the radial migration of neurons in the cerebral cortex and the axonal projection of the corpus callosum, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms of cerebral cortex development.

Brain control is a new control method. The traditional brain-controlled robot is mainly used to control a single robot to accomplish a specific task. However, the brain-controlled multi-robot cooperation (MRC) task is a new topic to be studied. This paper presents an experimental research which received the "Innovation Creative Award" in the brain-computer interface (BCI) brain-controlled robot contest at the World Robot Contest. Two effective brain switches were set: total control brain switch and transfer switch, and BCI based steady-state visual evoked potentials (SSVEP) was adopted to navigate a humanoid robot and a mechanical arm to complete the cooperation task. Control test of 10 subjects showed that the excellent SSVEP-BCI can be used to achieve the MRC task by appropriately setting up the brain switches. This study is expected to provide inspiration for the future practical brain-controlled MRC task system.

To investigate the exposure to major air pollutants of runners while running in Beijing, the concentrations of PM 2.5 , CO, O 3 , and NO 2 were constantly monitored at typical park running areas (Tiantan Park and Olympic Sports Center), roadside running areas (Qianmen East Street and Yongding Inner Street), and a background area (Dinglin) during April, June, and October of 2016 and in January 2017. The concentration variation characteristics for the pollutants in different areas and at different times were analyzed. Using a numerical model of human respiratory exposure, 102 joggers were studied, as was the temporal-spatial variation of inhalation dose of pollutants. At typical running areas, the concentrations of CO, NO 2 , and PM 2.5 were relatively higher in winter, whereas the concentrations of O 3 were higher in spring and summer. The concentrations of CO, NO 2, and PM 2.5 were lower in the afternoon (16:00-18:00), whereas the concentrations of O 3 were lower in the morning (06:00-08:00) and evening (18:00-20:00). There was a linear correlation between concentrations roadside to those in nearby parks, as the concentrations of CO roadside were generally consistent with those in parks ( c road / c park =1.01, R 2 =0.93), the concentrations of NO 2 and PM 2.5 roadside were higher than those in parks ( c road / c park were 0.56 and 1.19, respectively), and the concentrations of O 3 roadside were lower than those in parks ( c road / c park =0.74, R 2 =0.97). During moderate or higher pollution conditions, 92% of joggers halted outdoor activities, 62.7% chose to jog in parks, 66.7% chose to jog at night, and 64.7% of joggers had single run mileages of 10-20 km. When people chose to jog in the afternoon and evening, the inhalation of CO, NO 2 , and PM 2.5 were relatively lower, whereas the inhalation of O 3 was higher. During spring and summer, night running after 20:00 reduced the O 3 inhalation dose. Running roadside led to higher inhalation of CO, NO 2 , and PM 2.5 than that in parks; however, O 3 inhalation was lower.

Multi-modal brain-computer interface and multi-modal brain function imaging are developing trends for the present and future. Aiming at multi-modal brain-computer interface based on electroencephalogram-near infrared spectroscopy (EEG-NIRS) and in order to simultaneously acquire the brain activity of motor area, an acquisition helmet by NIRS combined with EEG was designed and verified by the experiment. According to the 10-20 system or 10-20 extended system, the diameter and spacing of NIRS probe and EEG electrode, NIRS probes were aligned with C3 and C4 as the reference electrodes, and NIRS probes were placed in the middle position between EEG electrodes to simultaneously measure variations of NIRS and the corresponding variation of EEG in the same functional brain area. The clamp holder and near infrared probe were coupled by tightening a screw. To verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the multi-modal EEG-NIRS helmet, NIRS and EEG signals were collected from six healthy subjects during six mental tasks involving the right hand clenching force and speed motor imagery. These signals may reflect brain activity related to hand clenching force and speed motor imagery in a certain extent. The experiment showed that the EEG-NIRS helmet designed in the paper was feasible and effective. It not only could provide support for the multi-modal motor imagery brain-computer interface based on EEG-NIRS, but also was expected to provide support for multi-modal brain functional imaging based on EEG-NIRS.

To improve the performance of brain-controlled intelligent car based on motor imagery (MI), a method based on neurofeedback (NF) with electroencephalogram (EEG) for controlling intelligent car is proposed. A mental strategy of MI in which the energy column diagram of EEG features related to the mental activity is presented to subjects with visual feedback in real time to train them to quickly master the skills of MI and regulate their EEG activity, and combination of multi-features fusion of MI and multi-classifiers decision were used to control the intelligent car online. The average, maximum and minimum accuracy of identifying instructions achieved by the trained group (trained by the designed feedback system before the experiment) were 85.71%, 90.47% and 76.19%, respectively and the corresponding accuracy achieved by the control group (untrained) were 73.32%, 80.95% and 66.67%, respectively. For the trained group, the average, longest and shortest time consuming were 92 s, 101 s, and 85 s, respectively, while for the control group the corresponding time were 115.7 s, 120 s, and 110 s, respectively. According to the results described above, it is expected that this study may provide a new idea for the follow-up development of brain-controlled intelligent robot by the neurofeedback with EEG related to MI.

Medical information exchange and integration is the effective method to solve the interoperability and medical information island, and is the basis of medical information sharing. In this paper, we take medical texts and medical images as the basic integrated objects, DICOM, HL7 messages and datasets as the integrated units, efficient DI-COM, HL7 message construction and parsing methods as basis, design and realize a universal medical information integration and exchange service middleware. Experimental results show that the prototype system could perform medical information integration and exchange among relational database, HL7 and DICOM message, provide a feasible scheme to solve the medical information island and lay a good foundation for establishing the unified medical information integration and sharing platform. The middleware has been applied in the project named "development and demonstration of opened medical information integration system".

Objective: To investigate clinical and epidemiological characteristics of hospitalized severe acute respiratory illnesses (SARI) patients under 15 years old registered by sentinel hospitals at 10 cities and risk factors analysis of severe illness., Methods: The objects of this study were 2 937 SARI patients under 15 years old registered by sentinel surveillance in internal wards, pediatrics wards and intensive care units (ICU) of 10 sentinel hospitals in 10 cities during the period from December 2009 to June 2014. We also collected case report form (CRF) of them and their throat swabs for influenza testing. The inclusion criteria was hospitalized patients who were admitted by surveillance departments, registered by SARI surveillance system, under 15 years old, meeting SARI case definition and with complete CRF. Rank-sum test was used to compare the difference of age, the duration including from onset to admission, hospital stay and from onset to discharging/death between mild illness and severe illness. Chi-square test was used to compare the difference of demographic characteristics, influenza psoitive rate, vaccination rate of influenza, chronic medical conditions and clinical characteristics between mild illness and severe illness. Logistic regression was used to analysis risk factors associated with severe illness by two stratifications from SARI surveillance protocol (< 2 years old and ≥ 2 years old)., Results: Among 2 937 SARI patients under 15 years old, 97.7% (2 872/2 937) was mild illnesses, and 2.3% (65/2 937) was severe illnesses. 78.8% (2 315/2 937) was under 5 years old. The median ages of severe illness and mild illness were 0.4 and 2.0 years old (U = -6.23, P < 0.001). The proportions of severe illness and mild illness with at least one chronic medical condition were 32.3% (21/65) and 8.4% (240/2 872) (χ² = 45.03, P < 0.001). The positive rate of influenza virus was 6.5% (190/2 937), which was 6.5% (186/2 858) for mild illness and 6.2% (4/65) for severe illness (χ² = 0.08, P = 0.961). The proportion of seasonal influenza vaccination was 1.5% (42/2 853), which was 1.5% (42/2 788) for mild illness and higher than that for severe illness (0) (χ² = 6.09, P = 0.048). For under 2 years old patients, age < 11 months and with at least one chronic medical condition were risk factors for severe SARI illness, and the risk for SARI patients who was 12-23 months and without medical condition was 14.71 (5.35-40.44) and 5.61 (2.96-10.63). For ≥ 2 years old patients, age, with at least one chronic medical condition and seasonal influenza vaccination history have no association with severe illness, OR (95% CI) was 0.92 (0.80-1.05), 0.67 (0.09-5.05) and 0.85 (0.31-2.35), respectively., Conclusion: Most of SARI patients registered by 10 urban sentinel hospitals were patients under 5 years old. Age < 11 months and with at least chronic medical conditions were possible risk factors of severe illness of SARI patients.

Objective: To identify clinical characteristics of hospitalized laboratory-confirmed influenza cases of children under 15 years old, and their risk factors of influenza infection., Methods: Analyzing the reports of hospitalized laboratory-confirmed influenza cases of children under 15 years old who were detected by the sentinel surveillance systems in 10 provinces from December 2009 to June 2014. Such data as their demographic, medical history, clinical symptoms and signs, treatment and outcome were collected using questionnaires, with their clinical characteristics and their risk factors of influenza infection described., Results: Of the 2 937 severe acute respiratory infection inpatients, 190 (6.5%) were laboratory-confirmed influenza cases. 123 (64.7%) of such confirmed cases were male, and 139 (73.2%) were children under 5 years old, with age median of 3.0 years (IQR: 1.0-5.0 years). 20 (10.5%) of them had at least one chronic medical condition, mostly chronic cardiovascular disease (3.2%), immunosuppressive disease (3.2%), and cancer/tumor (2.6%). Most common clinical symptoms of the cases were fever (92.6%) and cough (88.8%), of which abnormal pulmonary auscultation (51.1%) and abnormal chest X-ray performance (36.1%) were the most common clinical signs. 29 cases (15.8%) had complications, of which pneumonia (15.3%) was most common. 16 cases (8.6%) used antiviral drugs, and 4 cases (2.2%) were admitted into ICU. Risk factor analysis suggested that age < 6 months (OR = 0.406, 95% CI: 0.203-0.815) was a protective factor against influenza infection; and age 5-9 years old (OR = 2.535, 95% CI: 1.059-6.066) was a risk factor for influenza infection., Conclusion: Hospitalized laboratory-confirmed influenza cases were found mostly in children under 5 years old. Risk exposure for influenza infection varied among age groups.

Autism or autism spectrum disorders is the most common central nervous system developmental disorder in children. Until now, there is still no effective drug for autism. The latest breakthrough advance in autism study is the discovery of autism-related gene de novo mutation by the whole exon sequencing. Among multiple de novo gene mutations identified in autism, the chromodomain helicase DNA-binding protein 8 (CHD8) is the most frequently mutated gene, suggesting that CHD8 is an important candidate gene for autism. CHD8 binds to various other proteins such as p53 and beta-catenin to regulate gene expression. The discovery of autism-candidate genes provides novel molecular targets for the diagnosis and treatment of autism.

The Zijinshan gold-copper deposit is the first one of high sulfidation epithermal hydrothermal deposits. The gold bodies up, and the copper bodies down. The gold bodies mainly occur above the ground water table associated with strong silicification, and the copper bodies mainly occur below the ground water table associated with alunitization. The alunite of the Zijinshan gold-copper deposit has four types of occurrence status, that is the altered rock type, the intergrowth-with-Cu-sulphide type, the vein type and the powder type. Different types of the alunite are of different Raman spectra characteristics and fluorescence scattering background. Laser Raman spectra of inclusions in the alunite show that: (1) The characteristics of the Laser Raman spectra of the alunite are of characteristic spectral bands of alunite, just fluorescent scattering weaken gradually from the altered rock type, the intergrowth-with-Cu-sulphide type to the vein type; the alunite in the Powder type has different bands of the Laser Raman spectra relative to the former three types, the intensity of each band is weaker, and it's fluorescent scattering intensity is strongger. (2) The bands in 100-700 cm(-1) of the Laser Raman spectra can be used as "fingerprint" bands indicating the condition of the cation replacement in the molecular structure of alunite. The intensities at 161 and 234 peak change obviously in the bands of the alunite in the altered rock type, which indicating a wide replacement between K and Na; the intensities at 381 and 484 peak in the bands of the alunite in the intergrowth-with-Cu-sulphide type change significantly, indicating Al can be replaced with Cu, Ga, etc.; the larger and stable intensities of the alunite in the vein type in the bands at the peaks about 161, 234, 484, 508, etc. indicate that there are less chances with the replacement between K and Na, Al and Si; fluorescence scatorescent scattering is very strong and the intensity of each band is weaker in the bands of the alunite in the powder type, which indicate that the alunite formed in the underground water condition. (3) The laser Raman spectra of the alunite can be used together with it's infrared spectra, and provide the characteristics of complete vibration spectra of the alunite and the structure information with the mineral research Based on the mineralography, the petrography, the ore deposit geology, the geochemistry of mineral deposits, the regional geological features, the Laser Raman spectra of the alunite (Combined with fluorescence scattering background) can further the evolution process for the Zijinshan gold-copper deposit as a typical high sulfidation epithermal hydrothermal deposit.

In population pharmacokinetic (PPK) research of Chinese medicines with narrow therapeutic windows of toxicity, or when the target population is not homogeneous, or when there are frequent adverse reactions to parenterally administered Chinese medicine, select those that have a definite therapeutic effect, and in which the compositions of the toxic substances compositions are known, for study, and use complete PPK sampling design to take samples at specific time points. Use gas chromatography, HPLC, and LC-MS methods for the detection of target components. Finally, use total quantity statistical moment analysis, to account for each component of the PPK parameters. Thus, PPK model can reflect the overall trend of Chinese medicine, to provide the basis for reasonable clinical dosage adjustments.

Objective: To explore the genetic polymorphisms of 16 STR loci from 449 Tibetan Mastiffs in order to set up gene polymorphism database of Tibetan Mastiff., Methods: The PCR amplification was performed using the 16 STR loci fluorescent multiple amplification kit for dog. The amplified products were detected and statistically analyzed., Results: In the 16 STR loci from 449 Tibetan Mastiffs, CDP was 0.999 999 999 999 999 and CEP was 0.999 997 795. Except FH2010 (10 alleles), PEZ21 (12 alleles), and PEZ05 (13 alleles), the other STR loci had more than 15 alleles. In the 16 STR loci, H was > 0.5 and PIC was > 0.7., Conclusion: The 16 STR loci have high polymorphism to be suitable for individual identification and paternity testing of Tibetan Mastiff. The data obtained through this study can be used to establish DNA polymorphism database of Tibetan Mastiff.

Objective: To explore the effects of CXCR7 knock-down by CXCR7-shRNA lentiviral vector on the proliferation and invasion of human hepatoma carcinoma cells in vitro., Methods: CXCR7-shRNA lentiviral vector was transfected into hepatocellular carcinoma HCCLM3 cells. The changes in mRNA and protein expression of CXCR7 in the transfected cells were investigated using real-time PCR and Western blotting, respectively, and MTT assay was employed to assess the cell proliferation changes. In vitro adhesion assay and transwell chamber test were used to observe the adhesion and invasiveness of HCCLM3 cells, respectively., Results: Transfection of HCCLM3 cells with CXCR7-shRNA lentiviral vector resulted in a significantly decreased expression of CXCR7 at both mRNA and protein levels (P<0.01) and obvious suppression of the cell proliferative activity (P<0.05). CXCR7-shRNA also significantly suppressed the invasiveness and adhesion of HCCLM3 cells (P<0.01)., Conclusion: CXCR7 knock-down can significantly inhibit the proliferation and invasiveness of human hepatoma carcinoma cells in vitro, suggesting the value of CXCR7 as a potential target for hepatoma carcinoma therapy.

Objective: Based on a retrospective analysis of the drunk driving cases, to explore the drunk drivers' personnel composition, occurrence time and psychology., Methods: As a result of punishment of the drunk driving by criminal law for one year from May 1st, 2011 to April 30th, 2012, 91 drunk driving cases were statistically analyzed the easy-happening time of drunk driving, the drunk drivers' age, gender, occupational characteristics, domicile and psychological factors., Results: In 97 drunk driving cases, 26-40 years old, non-local domiciled and non-professional male drivers were prone to drunk driving at night from 22:00 to 5:00., Conclusion: The behavior of drunk driving is relevant to time, age, genders and occupation. The psychological characteristics of most drivers are fluky, making-life-easy, competitive and peacockish.

Objective: To prepare four breviscapine lipid carrier gels and general gel, and to study the transdermal promotive effects of them in vitro., Method: Improved Franz-type diffusion cell and isolated rat skin were used as transdermal barrier, and the transdermal property was fitted by pharmacokinetics equations. The unit area cumulative permeation quantity of breviscapine was determined by HPLC method., Result: The 24 hours' unit area cumulative permeation quantity of SLN gel was the highest, followed in descending order were transfersomal gel, liposomal gel, NLC gel and general gel. The transdermal property in vitro of SLN gel fitted in with Higuchi pharmacokinetics equation., Conclusion: The lipid carrier gels had different transdermal promotive effects to breviscapine, SLN gel was the best one as breviscapine transdermal carrier.

Objective: To explore the anesthetic management experiences of patients with Stanford A aortic dissection undergoing surgical treatment through moderate or deep hypothermia circulatory arrest (DHCA)., Methods: From June 2008 to December 2011, a total of 77 patients undergoing surgical treatment of Stanford A aortic dissection was recruited., Results: Cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) was established under general anesthesia in all patients. The procedures included moderate hypothermia (n = 51) and DHCA (n = 26). The total surgical duration was 152 - 600 (292 ± 91) min, CPB time 38 - 310 (128 ± 43) min and aortic cross-clamp time 31 - 169 (87 ± 26) min. The time of circulatory arrest under deep hypothermia was 20 - 113 (41 ± 19) min in 26 patients. Among 77 patients, there were 5 intraoperative and 7 postoperative fatalities. The remained 65 patients were discharged postoperatively and received a regular outpatient follow-up. None of them died or required reoperation., Conclusion: Surgical treatment is appropriate and efficient for the patients with Stanford A aortic dissection. During surgery, the keys of preventing neurological complications are blood volume monitoring and blood protection.

Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths, while the virtual colonoscopy plays an important role in the early detection of colon cancer. Effective colon segmentation is the basis of virtual colonoscopy. Oral contrast agent can reduce the use of laxatives, but it can to bring some difficulties in the colon segmentation. Because of the partial volume effect, the CT value of air-tagging boundary span a wide range, which are not easily eliminated. We present an effective method of colon segmentation in this paper. Firstly, we used adaptive threshold method to extract air area. Then we segmented tagging region and removed air-tagging boundary by segment region growing method based on statistical information and morphological operation. The experiments showed that the agreement between the results by manual and by orithm segmentation reached 93.4%.

Objective: To investigate the mechanisms underlying the effect of Chansu Injection (CHS) in reversing multi-drug resistance (MDR) of HL60/ADM cells., Methods: MTT assay was used to investigate the effect of CHS on adramycin (ADM) sensitivity of HL-60/ADM cells. Flow cytometry was used to observe the effect of CHS on the cell cycle of HL60/ADM cell. The expressions of NF-κB, MRP, GST-π, and iNOS were detected by immunocytochemistry., Results: Treatment with CHS lowered the IC(50) of ADM in HL60/ADM cells from 34.1971 µmol/L to 17.4393 µmol/L, and caused an increase in G(0)/G1 and G(2)/M phase cells with decreased S phase cells. CHS decreased the expressions of MRP mRNA and GST-π and MRP proteins but increased the expressions of iNOS and NF-κB proteins in the cells., Conclusion: CHS can partly reverse MDR in HL60/ADM cells possibly by down-regulating MRP and GST-π, up-regulating NF-κB and iNOS, and promoting cell apoptosis, thereby increase ADM sensitivity of HL-60/ADM cells.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of tetrandrine (Tet) on nitroglycerin(GTN)-induced activation of the satellite cells released inflammatory cytokines and to explore its mechanism., Method: Neonatal rat satellite cells of trigeminal ganglia were cultured and separated into three groups. Group CON: the cells were normal cultured; Group TGN: the cells were cultured with 0.55 mmol x L(-1) GTN; Group Tet: the cells were treated with 0.55 mmol x L(-1) GTN and 1 x 10(-7) mol x L(-1) Tet respectively. Cell viability after GTN and Tet was detected by AlamarBlue assay. The concentration change of intracellular Ca2+ ([Ca2+]i) in single satellite cell loaded with Fluo-3/AM was determined by laser scanning confocal microscopy. NF-kappaB and IL-1beta mRNA levels were determined by FQ-PCR. Through double-immunofluorescent staining identifies satellite cells and determines the expression of NF-kappaB protein., Result: Satellite cells activities decreased with GTN stimulating, but according to the viability and modality of the cells, 1 x 10(-7) mol x L(-1) Tet was the suitable prophylaxis. Tet can inhibit the elevation of cytosolic free calcium of rat satellite cell and decrease the mRNA and protein levels of NF-kappaB and the mRNA levels of IL-1beta., Conclusion: Via preventing Ca2+ influxion, Tet inhibited NF-kappaB activation of satellite cell which decreased IL-1beta expression.

Objective: To evaluate the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene copy number and the expression of ERCC1 and BRCA1 proteins in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and the correlation between them., Methods: The status of EGFR gene copy number was determined by in situ hybridization (FISH), and the expression of ERCC1 and BRCC1 proteins was examined by immunohistochemistry (IHC). The relationship of EGFR gene copy number with the expression of ERCC1 and BRCA1 and the clinical pathologic features were analyzed., Results: FISH-positive EGFR expression was identified in 40 of 166 samples (24.1%). More FISH-positive EGFR in the female than male patients (31.9% vs. 18.6%, P = 0.048), and non-smoker than smoker (32.8% vs. 16.7%, P = 0.045). FISH-positive EGFR was not associated with age, pathological type, clinical stage and metestasis status (P > 0.05). The expression of ERCC1 protein was identified in 60 of 132 samples (45.5%). The expression of ERCC1 protein varied significantly in tumors of different pathological types (P = 0.046), but not associated with age, gender, clinical stage, metestatic status and smoking status (P > 0.05). The expression of BRCA1 protein was identified in 46 of 131 samples (35.1%). The expression of BRCA1 was not associated with age gender, pathological type, clinical stage, metestatic ststus and smoking status (P > 0.05). There was a moderate correlation between the expressions of ERCC1 and BRCA1 (r = 0.449, P < 0.001), but EGFR gene copy number was not correlated with the expression of ERCC1 or BRCA1 protein., Conclusions: FISH-positive EGFR expression is associated with gender and smoking status, but not correlated with the expression of ERCC1 and BRCA1 proteins. There is a moderate correlation between the expressions of ERCC1 and BRCA1.
