ObjectiveTo investigate the menstrual conditions of women infected with COVID-19 in Shanghai and analyze the influencing factors.MethodsFrom December 2022 to March 2023， menstrual data from 281 women infected with COVID-19 in Shanghai were collected with a questionnaire survey， including usual menstrual characteristics， the most recent menstrual period post-infection， symptoms of infection， and medication usage. According to the crossover period between the menstrual period and the infection period of the respondents， the samples were divided into two groups for comparative analysis： those whose menstrual and infection periods overlapped （positive group） and those whose menstruation started after conversion to virus-negative （negative conversion group）.ResultsAmong the 281 respondents， 196 （65.8%） experienced menstrual changes. Among them， 145 （51.6%） had changes in menstrual volume， color and texture， and 109 （38.8%） had changes in menstrual duration or cycle. Decreased menstrual volume （22.1%）， darker color （23.49%）， thicker texture （21.0%）， increased blood clots （16.7%）， and prolonged duration （21.8%） were observed in both groups. The rate of changes in menstrual volume， color， and texture was higher in the positive group （56.8%， 69/110） than that in negative group （37.3%， 76/171） （P

Thermal analyzer, SEM, XRD and BET were used to characterize the physical and chemical properties of building phosphogypsum and its hydration process. The results indicate that the particles of building phosphogypsum are distributed in multiple gradations and are laminate structure containing many pores and slits which can be responsible for its high water requirement. The insoluble impurities in building phosphogypsum are mainly quartz, anhydrite, calcium hydrogen phosphate and iron sulfide. Moreover, calcium hydrogen phosphate is uniformly distributed among hemihydrate gypsum particles presenting as solid solution, which is gradually released during hydration, resulting in the decrease of pH in solution. Building phosphogypsum prepared by phosphogypsum without the pretreatment of water wash sets fast and the final gypsum crystal are coarse leading to loose microstructure with lower strength. Objective: To analyze the associations between air pollution and adverse health outcomes on respiratory diseases and to estimate the short-term effects of air pollutions [Particulate matter with particle size below 10 microns (PM(10)), PM(10) particulate matter with particle size below 2.5 microns (PM(2.5)), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), sulphur dioxide (SO₂) and ozone (O₃)] on respiratory mortality in China., Methods: Data related to the epidemiological studies on the associations between air pollution and adverse health outcomes of respiratory diseases that published from 1989 through 2014 in China, were collected by systematically searching databases of PubMed, SpringerLink, Embase, Medline, CNKI, CBM and VIP in different provinces of China. Short-term effects between (PM(10), PM(2.5), NO₂, SO₂, O₃) and respiratory mortality were analyzed by Meta-analysis method, and estimations were pooled by random or fixed effect models, using the Stata 12.0 software., Results: A total of 157 papers related to the associations between air pollution and adverse health outcomes of respiratory diseases in China were published, which covered 79.4% of all the provinces in China. Results from the Meta-analysis showed that a 10 µg/m³ increase in PM10, PM(2.5), NO₂, SO₂, and O₃was associated with mortality rates as 0.50% (95% CI: 0-0.90%), 0.50% (95% CI: 0.30%-0.70%), 1.39% (95% CI: 0.90%-1.78%), 1.00% (95% CI: 0.40%-1.59%) and 0.10% (95% CI: -1.21%-1.39%) in respiratory tracts, respectively. No publication bias was found among these studies., Conclusion: There seemed positive associations existed between PM(10)/PM(2.5)/NO₂/SO₂and respiratory mortality in China that the relationship called for further attention on air pollution and adverse health outcomes of the respiratory diseases.

Objective: To establish murine liver cancer cell line (Hepa1-6) and human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) with dual-modality imaging lentiviral vector transfection and monitor the development of liver tumors and dynamically tracking of hMSCs by bioluminescent imaging in vivo., Methods: The cell lines of Hepa 1-6 and hMSCs were constructed abd tranfected with RL-eGFP and FL2-mKate2 lentiviruses respectively. Then the eGFP(+)-Hepa1-6 and mKate2(+)-hMSCs cell lines were selected by fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS). The bioluminescent imaging technology was employed to evaluate their bioluminescent abilities in vitro and in vivo. And the capacity of mKate2(+)-hMSCs migrating to HCC cell line (eGFP(+)-Hepa1-6) was evaluated by Transwell migration assay., Results: DNA sequencing analysis confirmed that gene sequences of lentiviral vectors were correct without mutation. We successfully constructed the lentivirus vector, produced lentivirus and infected Hepa1-6 and hMSCs respectively. Subsequently eGFP(+)-Hepa1-6 cells and mKate2(+)-hMSCs were obtained by FACS. The expressions of fluorescent protein eGFP and mKate were confirmed by fluorescence microscope. By bioluminescent imaging system, bioluminescence intensity strongly correlated with cell number. The Transwell assay showed that hMSCs migrated toward heptocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells., Conclusion: A lentivirus vector has been successfully constructed for infecting Hepa1-6 and hMSCs and analyzed by fluorescence and bioluminescent imaging. And that makes it technically feasible to further monitor the interaction of hMSCs and liver tumor cells. These results provide rationales for further studying the mechanism of MSCs in the development and progression of HCC.
