This paper establishes a simplified model of train approach at level crossings under the British standards system. On this basis, it analyzes the running state of trains approaching level crossings, to obtain the level crossing alarm time for automatic level crossings under different initial speeds. It analyzes the key influencing factors of the level crossing alarm time for train approach in the multi-level-crossing section. It also analyzes the train departure interval in the double-track multi-level-crossing section, to obtain the calculation method of the train departure interval for train operation in opposite directions. Moreover, it performs simulation calculation using MATLAB under the simulated scenario of train operation in the multi-level crossing section, to obtain the optimal train departure interval under this simulated scenario. The trackside signal light is an important guidance for a running train in a rail transportation system. However, the combined trackside signal light included two colors is also used as a specific sign in addition to the usual single color signal light. In order to solve the recognition problem of the combined trackside signal light, a method based on image processing technology is employed to recognize the combined trackside signal light located within 150 m in front of train. As a result, the candidate region characteristics of the combined trackside signal light are extracted by color segmentation, morphological processing, and Hough transform. On the other hand, the combined trackside signal light can be positioned on the right of running rail train. The central spacing between two single lights can determine whether or not existing combined trackside signal light to remove the possible interferences from other lights or environment. The experimental results indicate that this method can accurately locate and recognize the combined trackside signal light, and the color correction ratio is 94.14% for green and yellow light, 96.21% for two green lights, 86.67% for two yellow lights. The trackside signal light is one of the important components for prompt train operation. In order to ensure train operation safety, a method based on image processing technique is proposed to effectively locate the trackside signal light and identify its color information. The trackside signal light ROI is extracted through the empirical value, and lhen lhe color segmenlalion is carried oul lo lhe ROI in lhe RGB color space lo avoid Lhe influence of irrelevanl background, and remaining noise is removed Lhrough morphology processing. Hough - circle lransform is performed on the processed image for the extracted candidate region of signal light, and the operating trackside signal light related to the running train is located according to the position characteristics between the signal light and the track. The pixel value information in the signal light area is analyzed for signal color recognition. The experimental results indicate that the method can precisely locate and recognize trackside signals, and the color correction ratio is 91. 42% for red, 85. 00% for yellow, and 94. 29% for green, respeclively. Continuous object contains richer information. In order to obtain more meaningful visual information in dynamic hand-held objects, targeting dynamic hand-held objects in different backgrounds, based on the step-size self-learning update SGD( SSU-SGD), this paper proposed three benchmarks for dynamic hand-held object recognition. Through self-learning of different step sizes, it consolidated the train on the basis of known classes, unknown classes, and known objects for subsequent dynamic hand-held object recognition. Using AlexNet and VGG networks, it performed the programming experiments and simulations of naive and cumulative strategies under the three different benchmarks.
