Objective To perform quantum dots(QDs)imaging of breast cancer cells and breast cancer tissue paraffin specimens by using nucleic acid aptamer W3 binding specificity on breast cancer cells. Methods The binding specificity of nucleic acid aptamer W3 to breast cancer cell lines was detected by flow cytometry, and based on the binding reaction principle of biotin and streptomyces avidin, the quantum dot targeting imaging of nucleic acid aptamer W3 on breast cancer cell lines and tissue specimens of clinical patients was observed by fluorescence microscopy, and its clinical significance was further analyzed. Results The nucleic acid aptamer W3 specifically binded to breast cancer cell lines with high malignancy,and after coupling quantum dots QD605(W3-QDs), it achieved targeted imaging of breast cancer cell lines and breast cancer tissues with high malignancy, and the fluorescence intensity of breast cancer tissues with high malignancy degree was significantly higher than that of breast cancer tissues with low malignancy. Conclusions The nucleic acid aptamer W3 may achieve target imaging of breast cancer after coupling quantum dots, which can be used for early diagnosis of breast cancer.

The basic physical properties and applications of semiconductor quantum dots have attracted the attention of researchers. The properties of quantum dots mainly depend on the size and density, and the density, height and other parameters of quantum dots control the nucleation of adatoms on the substrate. In this paper, metal In droplets are grown on GaAs( 001) surface by droplet epitaxy. The relationships of the diffusion movement of In droplets with substrate temperature and deposition rate are studied. It is found that with the increase of substrate temperature and the decrease of deposition rate, the size of in droplets increases, but the density decreases. Through the experimental data obtained, the curves of In droplet density with substrate temperature and deposition rate are fitted, the growth mechanism of quantum ring is analyzed, and the mechanism of surface atomic diffusion is further analyzed. As a new generation of display technology, micro-LED demonstrates the advantages of high brightness, low energy consumption, long life, and self-luminous. However, the technical bottlenecks, such as difficulties in achieving highefficiency full-color displays, have hindered their industrialization processes and popularity. The full-color display is a crucial technology for the commercialization of micro-LED. However, with the high degree of integration and miniaturization of LED chips, the mass transfer of RGB chips to the same substrate for achieving full-color display has resulted in high costs and low yields. Therefore, there is an urgent need to discover a simpler and more efficient method for full-color display. This paper provides an overview of micro-LED micro-display device fabrication technologies and several methods for achieving full-color displays, focusing on the quantum dots color conversion layer method, the RGB direct alignment method, the special structure method, and the optical lens method. The Sn-based alloy anode materials have attracted wide interest due to their excellent capacity and lower voltage platform during the sodium storage process. Unfortunately, a huge volume change causes the Sn-based anode materials to be easily broken during the charging/discharging processes, resulting in capacity degradation. Herein, the composites composed of Ni-Sn alloy quantum dots embedded in porous carbon nanosheets (Ni-Sn@ PNC) have been synthesized by a simple template method. And the morphological structure and electrochemical performance of the composites Ni3Sn4@PNC, Ni3Sn2@PNC and PNC have been investigated using structural characterization techniques and electrochemical measurements. The results show that the Ni3Sn4@PNC exhibits the best performance among the samples as anodes for sodium-ion batteries. The Ni3Sn4@PNC anode delivers a high capacity of 232.7 mAh/g after 100 cycles at 100 mA/g, and the outstanding cycle stability with a capacity retention rate of 81.6% over 1000 cycles at 400 mA/g. The superior electrochemical performance of Ni-Sn alloy anode materials is attributed to the synergistic effect of Ni3Sn4 quantum dot and porous carbon nanoplates, shortening the transport distance of charged species, providing high contact area of the electrolyte and active materials, and increasing the reaction active sites. Anatase TiO2 thin films with different morphology were prepared on FTO substrates by hydrothermal method. With the increasing of hydrochloric acid concentration in the precursor, TiO2 thin films gradually evolved from spherical particle films into TiO2 nanosheet array films with a large percentage of high-energy exposed (001) planes. By analyzing the evolution rule of morphology and X-ray diffraction patterns, a reasonable growth and evolution mechanism of TiO2 thin film with different morphology was proposed, and the role of hydrochloric acid was explained. In order to further improve the performance of TiO2 thin films, CdS quantum dots (QDs) sensitization was performed on different TiO2 thin films by the successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction method. The optical absorption performance and photoelectrochemical (PEC) properties of composite films were studied by ultraviolet visible absorption spectroscopy and three-electrode electrochemistry system. The optical absorption data and PEC performance data show that the properties of CdS / TiO2 composite films are better than those of pure TiO2 thin films, and the properties of nanosheet array films are obviously better than other morphologies, which illustrates the performance superiority of TiO2 nanosheet array films with large area high-energy (001) planes exposed. The excellent PEC properties also suggest that the QDs sensitized TiO2 nanosheet array films with a large percentage of high-energy surfaces have potential applications in PEC solar cells. BACKGROUND: Olfactory ensheathing cells promote axonal regeneration, provide nutritional support for the injured host cells and regulate inflammation reaction, which possess potential for spinal cord injury repair. OBJECTIVE: To explore the optimal time window for intravenous transplantation of olfactory ensheathing cells in the treatment of spinal cord injury. METHODS: Thirty male SPF level rats were used to establish the rat models of spinal cord injury by spinal cord hemisection. Rat models were then randomly divided into five groups: 1-, 3-, 7- and 10-day olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation and PBS groups. Olfactory ensheathing cells were labeled with fluorescent quantum dots. PBS was injected into the rats in the PBS group after spinal cord injury. The injured spinal cord was removed at 1 day after injection. A small animal imager was used to measure the fluorescence transferred to the lesion at different time points. The number of cells transferred to the lesion was measured based on the intensity of fluorescence. The Anti-p75 NGF Receptor antibody was used for immunohistochemistry detection of the injured spinal cord. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Animal Laboratory of Ningxia Medical University, No. 2017-073. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Fluorescent quantum dots could label olfactory ensheathing cells. Results of fluorescence assay and immunohistochemistry indicated that transplanted olfactory ensheathing cells were transferred to the lesion at 1, 3, 7 and 10 days. Most cells were transferred to the lesion at 7 days. Therefore, these results indicate that olfactory ensheathing cells transplanted at different time points after spinal cord injury can be transferred to the lesion, with a number peak at 7 days that is the best time window for cell transplantation. To construct novel splited CD20 aptamer system based on FRET for the detection of NHL． CD20 aptamer CE4-1 was splited as CE4-1-1a/CE4-1-1b group or CE4-1-2a/CE4-1-2b group. Splited aptamers were modified with QD or Cy5 separately, and incubated with CD20+ cells. Cells were evaluated by flow cytometry and CE4-1-1a/CE4-1-2b group generated the strongest signal. Further, the ratio, concentration and incubation time of splited aptamer system were explored, and the detection specificity was ecaluated. It is shown that when the ratio of CE4-1-1a/CE4-1-2b was 1:5, the concentration of CE4-1-1a was 4 nM, and the incubation time was 50 min, the splited aptamer system exhibited the strongest FRET signal. In addition, this system generated relative string signal with CD20+ cell lines (Raji and Ramos), whereas exhibited no positive signal with CD20 － cell lines (Jurkat, K562, Min6 and Hela), indicating the detection specificity to CD20+ cells. The CD20 splited aptamer system based on FRET for the detection of NHL exhibits weak background signal and relatively strong FRET signal, which presents a promising method for detection of CD20+ NHL cells. InAs quantum dots (QDs) grown by indium droplet epitaxy at different substrate temperatures, without or with annealing are reported in this work. At last, a physical model is build. Indium droplets form quantum wires (QWs) along the [110] direction at first, then divide into short parts to maintain the minimum surface energy, and these parts become the nuclei of quantum dots. While substrate temperature increases from 460 to 480 °C, parts coming from the quantum wires become more as well as QDs, at the same time, the number of QWs decreases, which leads to the increase of nanostructure's average height from 4.09 to 4.58 nm. After the annealing introduced to the experiment under the condition of substrate temperature 480 °C, QDs are the only nanostructure in the scanning area with its average height increases to 8.56 nm. It can be speculated that the growth of InAs quantum dots by indium droplet epitaxy is a progress which form QWs at first, then QWs divide into short parts capturing atoms absorbed to the edge of steps because of the influence of the Ehrlich-Schwoebel barriers (ES barriers) to form QDs. Also, the introduction of annealing will promote the QW-to-QDs transformation, and improve the uniformity of QDs' size. At last, a physical model is build according to the analysis above. It studies a system of two coupled cavities, one containing a two-level quantum dot and the other containing a three-level tunneling quantum dot molecule. The state vector of the system was derived under the assumption of resonant interaction and the initial conditions that the quantum dot was in the excited state, the quantum dot molecule in the ground state, and the cavity fields were in a vacuum. The dot-molecule entanglement, cavity-cavity entanglement, dot-cavity entanglement and molecule-cavity entanglement were discussed. The influence of coupling coefficeint between cavities and tunneling strength of the quantum molecule on entanglement properties was explored with Negativity used to measure the entanglement between subsystems. Numerical results show that, compared with the weak cavity-coupling case, strong cavity coupling makes the entanglement between the quantum dot ( or the tunneling quantum dot molecule ) and the corresponding cavity field, and that between the fields reduce, while entanglement between the quantum dot atom and the tunneling quantum dot molecule increases. On the other hand, for either weak or strong coupling between the cavities, with quantum dot molecule tunneling strength increasing, entanglement between the quantum dot (or molecule), and that between fields are slightly affected; only entanglement between the molecule and its cavity field is obviously reduced. Using the modified rate equations the transport properties of a circularly coupled triple-quantum- dot structure in both the temporary and stationary cases are systematically investigated. The rate equations for the reduced density matrix elements are derived together with the corresponding current for the triple-quantum-dot structure. The numerical results show that the electron-occupation probabilities in all states and the current flowing from the left lead to the right one showed the temporal oscillations. When the time is sufficiently long they become constant. In the presence of an external magnetic field, the stationary current exhibits a 2π-period Aharonov-Bohm oscillation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Based on new principle, quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) can overcome a series of problems which the transistor must face when it enters the scope of nanometer. Furthermore, the circuit composed of QCA has the ability of high parallel processing which the current circuit is devoid of. Procalcitonin (PCT) is the precursor of calcitonin related to the severity of human bacterial infection. We made a test strip by coupling anti-PCT to quantum dot, in order to develop a highly sensitive and convenient PCT testing product. The anti-PCT titer had reached 10⁷ because of the stability by coupling anti-PCT with quantum dot. The detecting linear range of the experiment was 0.15 to 120 μg/L, the sensitivity was 0.007 μg/L, the recovery range was 91% to 113%, and the intra- and inter-assay coefficient of variation was less than 8%. Comparing the homemade fluorescence-detected test strip with PCT ELISA kit on sale, we got accurate results which could mostly accomplish the test of clinical samples.
