Objective: To explore the effect of microneedle combined with Lauromacrogol on skin capillary network., Methods: 24 male Leghone (1.5-2.0 kg in weight) were randomly divided into three groups as group A (microneedle combined with Lauromacrogol), B (microneedle combined with physiological saline) , and C(control). The cockscombs were treated. The specimens were taken on the 7th, 14th, 21th , and 28th day postoperatively. HE staining, immunohistochemical staining and special staining were performed for study of the number of capillary and collagen I/III , as well as elastic fibers., Results: The color of cockscombs in group A became lightening after treatment. The number of capillary decreased as showing by HE staining. The collagen I and III in group B was significantly different from that in group A and C (P < 0.05). Special staining showed proliferation of elastic fibers in group B., Conclusions: It indicates that microneedle combined with Lauromacrogol could effectively reduce the capillary in cockscomb without any tissue fibrosis. Microneedle can stimulate the proliferation of elastic fiber, so as to improve the skin ageing process.

Objective: To investigate the early effectiveness of total percutaneous endovascular aneurysm repair (TPEVAR) in treating asymptomatic abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAAA) by comparing with surgical femoral cutdown endovascular aneurysm repair (SFCEVAR)., Methods: Between January 2010 and May 2011, 41 cases of AAAA were treated with TPEVAR in 26 cases (TPEVAR group) and with SFCEVAR in 15 cases (SFCEVAR group). The maximum tumor diameter ranged from 3.5 to 9.2 cm (mean, 5.7 cm) in TPEVAR group, and ranged from 3.5 to 10.0 cm (mean, 6.9 cm) in SFCEVAR group. There was no significant difference in gender or age between 2 groups (P > 0.05)., Results: All patients underwent EVAR successfully. The patients were followed up 6-23 months (mean, 13.5 months). No significant difference was found in the outer diameters of the delivery system for main body and iliac leg, operation time, contrast media dosage, hospitalization days, or postoperative hospitalization days between 2 groups (P > 0.05). The patients of SFCEVAR group had more bleeding volume and longer ICU stay than patients of TPEVAR group (P < 0.05). The incidence of minor complication was 7.7% (2/26) in TPEVAR group and 33.3% (5/15) in SFCEVAR group, showing no significant difference between 2 group (chi2=4.42, P=0.08); the incidence of major complication in SFCEVAR group (20.0%, 3/15) was significantly higher than that in TPEVAR group (0) (chi2=5.61, P=0.02)., Conclusion: TPEVAR shows safer and more effective than SFCEVAR in treating AAAA.

Objective: To introduce an independently developed remote-control locating device under the radiographic guidance for percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) and conduct small-scale animal experiment to test its application effect., Methods: Five experimental minipigs were selected. And an animal model of nephrolithotomy was established by implanting stones from outside the body. This locating device for PCNL was used to locate before puncture under the radiographic guidance and then begin puncturing to the target stone following the located angle., Results: Four pigs achieved single puncture after localization. During the puncture process, no obvious hemorrhage occurred. The average time from starting locating to finishing puncture was 20.7 min, the average time of locating 15.6 min and the average time of puncture 5.1 min., Conclusions: This remote-control type of locating device can improve the accuracy and safety of puncture and minimize the radioactive exposure to operators. Thus it has an excellent perspective of further development and clinical application.

To evaluate the rate of early diagnosis for abdominal trauma, we design a set of visible bi-cavity abdominal puncture device to detect and diagnose abdominal organ disease. This paper simply introduces the design and the use of this device.

The article gives a detailed introduction of the process of marking flat tube needle for vas deferens puncture and a brief explanation of its application. This kind of tube needle can be easily made of readily available material, convenient to be cleaned and sterilized, with high success rate of puncturing and good effect. Other tube needles can be made by imitating it.
