The present study tested the effect of addition of whole common buckwheat flour on the rheological properties of wheat dough, and the textural characteristics, water distribution, secondary structure and molecular mass distribution of proteins, microstructure, and color of fresh noodles. The results demonstrated that the dough with 30% whole common buckwheat flour had a higher G’ (5.3 × 105 Pa) and a minimum tan δ value of 0.50. The resulting noodles had a maximum elasticity of 0.97, a maximum α-helix content of 28.30%, and a denser and more homogenous microstructure. According to sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) data, the band intensities of buckwheat protein subunits increased with increasing addition of whole common buckwheat flour. Compared with the control group, the addition of whole common buckwheat flour caused partial transformation of tightly bound water to weakly bound water and free water. As the addition of common buckwheat flour increased, the L* value of noodles decreased significantly, the a* and b* values increased to varying degrees, and as a result the overall color turned reddish and yellow. In conclusion, the addition of 30% whole common buckwheat flour can improve the mechanical properties and processing quality of fresh noodles.

Objective: Determine the appropriate soymilk concentration and slurry depth to provide a theoretical reference for the efficient and high-quality production of yuba. Methods: The effect of soymilk solids concentration and slurry depth on the yield, film-forming rate, nutrient contents, mechanical properties, cooking loss rate, and rehydration ratio were investigated. Results: The optimal yield solids of yuba (34.68%) and highest nutritional value occurs when the soymilk solids concentration is 6% and the soymilk slurry depth is 6 cm, which presents 51.05% protein, 23.42% fats, and it also has good tensile strength and rehydration qualities, with respective measurements of 3.74 MPa and 3.80 g/g. Conclusion: Considering various factors such as yield, film formation rate and overall food quality, it is recommended to employ processing conditions with a soymilk solids concentration of 6% and a slurry depth of 6 cm for the efficient and high-quality production of yuba.

To analyze the effect of heat treatment on the structure and physicochemical properties of buckwheat bran protein (BBP), the molecular mass, secondary structure, intrinsic fluorescence spectrum, free sulfhydryl content, disulfide bond content, microstructure, thermal properties, and rheological properties of BBP were characterized before and after heat treatment. The results showed that part of the subunits of BBP were degraded into small polypeptides or oligopeptides. The α-helical structure was transformed into β-sheet, β-turn and random coil, and the contents of free sulfhydryl groups and disulfide bonds were significantly increased. Compared with soy protein isolate (SPI), the peak temperature, denaturation enthalpy, apparent viscosity, storage modulus (G’) and loss modulus (G”) of BBP were significantly lower. The surface of heat-induced gels of BBP was rougher, and there were obvious cracks on the gel wall, indicating that the thermal stability of BBP was lower than that of SPI. In summary, heat treatment could change the structure of BBP, and have different effects on its physicochemical properties.

This study aims to tackle the problem of frequent coal-rock dynamic events caused by local stress concentration in deep mining working face under high static stress environment. Specifically, by taking the deep working face of Hongqinghe Mine located in Xinjie Mining Area as an example for analysisthis paper investigates the geological conditions of No. 3-1coal seam that are affected by the mining method and the coal rock dynamic disaster events occurred during mining; utilizes numerical simulation to simulate the mining stress field and energy field of the stope; analyzes the potential coal burst instability area and mechanism of coal burst gestation and catastrophe in the stope during the mining of the No. 3-1103 working face; probes into the sources of catastrophic stress and influencing factors of coal-rock disasters in dangerous areas, puts forward targeted prevention and control measures. Results show that: ① the roof strata structure, goaf and coal pillar are the key factors influencing coal burst in the stope during the mining of the No. 3-1103 working face; ② the simulation results indicatethe location and characteristics of the coal burst instability area in the stope of the No. 3-1103 working faces, as well as the simulation outlines 5 strong coal burst areas and 11 medium coal burst areas presented in the stope; ③ Measures are proposed for coal burst during mining from the perspective of cutting off the dynamic load source, reducing static load stress concentration, and blocking the transmission of high concentration stress. Detailed measures include implementing multi-source prevention and control in areas with high static or high static+dynamic loads, implement pre-pressure off-load measures prior to mining, and local risk relief and coal burst prevention and reduction treatments during mining.

The annular plane metal seal is an important sealing part of the gate valve of the gas tree, and its sealing performance directly affects the gas recovery efficiency. In order to develop the annular planar metal seal used in ultra-high pressure environment, stainless steel 718 was selected as the sealing material, and the relationship between the minimum contact stress and pressure was obtained through the test. The minimum contact stress was substituted into the valve-gate finite element model of metal seal, and the influence of seat face diameter and metal seal face width on sealing performance was analyzed, as well as the contact stress distribution at different temperatures. The simulation results show that the larger the inner valve face diameter is, the higher the reliability of metal seal is. Sealing surface width has no obvious effect on sealing performance. The ultra-high pressure test results show that the annular planar metal seal can still maintain good sealing performance under 140 MPa pressure, which verifies the reliability of the metal seal under ultra-high pressure. Background and Objective: Platinum-based doublet chemotherapy is still the standard first-line treatment for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Previous studies have demonstrated that pemetrexed combined with platinum had promising efficacy and safety profile in NSCLC, especially in patients with nonsquamous NSCLC. This trial was conducted to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pemetrexed made in China as first-line treatment., Methods: The present study was a randomized, controlled, multicenter clinical trial. Patients were randomly assigned (1:1) to receive cisplatin plus pemetrexed chemotherapy (PC group) or gemcitabine plus cisplatin (GC group) every 3 weeks. The primary end point was progression free survival (PFS) and the secondary end points included 1 year survival rate, objective response rate (ORR), survival without grade 3/4 toxicity (SWT3/4) and safety profile., Results: A total of 288 patients from 20 institutions across China were enrolled into the study. Based on the Full Analyses Set (FAS), the PFS was 168 days (5.6 months) vs 140 days (4.7 months) (P=0.16), one year survival rate was 50.0% vs 54.9% (P=0.47), ORR was 24.4% vs 14.2% (P=0.06) in the PC group and the GC group, respectively; Survival without grade 3/4 toxicity was 11.3 months in GC group vs 8.1 months in PC group (P=0.23). In terms of the safety, side effects were less observed on the PC group (81.95% vs 93.75%, P=0.003). The main side effects included leukopenia, neutropenia, emesis, anemia, thrombopenia., Conclusions: The both regimens have similar efficacy as the treatment for advanced nonsquamous NSCLC, but pemetrexed plus cisplatin regimen has better safety profile and seems to have longer PFS, which makes it a new option as the first line setting.

Objective: To explore the role of RhoA in regulating vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) secretion level in breast cancer cells and in the proliferation, migration and tube formation of human umbilical vascular endothelial cells (HUVECs) under hypoxia., Methods: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to examine the effect of V14RhoA plasmid transfection-induced RhoA activation and RhoA knockdown on VEGF secretion level in breast cancer MCF-7 cells under hypoxic condition. A MCF-7/HUVEC co-culture model was established to assess the effect of the changes in RhoA expressions in MCF-7 cells on HUVEC proliferation, migration, and tube formation under hypoxia., Results: Under hypoxic condition, RhoA activation promoted VEGF secretion in MCF-7 cells, and RhoA knockdown inhibited VEGF secretion. In the co-culture model, RhoA activation in the MCF-7 cells enhanced HUVEC proliferation, migration, and tube formation, and RhoA knockdown inhibited these changes., Conclusion: Under hypoxic condition, RhoA indirectly influences HUVECs to affect tumor angiogenesis by regulating VEGF level in breast cancer cells.

Background: To evaluate three new chemotherapeutic regimens for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by pharmacoeconomic analysis in guiding rational use of drugs., Methods: One hundred and one cases of NSCLC in clinic stage III or IV were treated by one of the three chemotherapeutic schemes-PC: paclitaxel (135mg/m²,d1)+DDP; TC: docetetaxel (75mg/m²,d1)+DDP; VC: vinorelbine (25mg/m²,d1 and d8)+DDP, DDP were given at 80mg/m² in 3 groups. Pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness analysis was used to compare the efficacy of the three regimens., Results: The response rate was 46.9%, 48.6% and 47.1% and median survival duration was 7.8, 7.5 and 7.6 months for PC, TC and VC regimen respectively, with 1-year survival rate of 37.5%, 37.1% and 38.2% respectively. There was remarkable difference in the response rate and median survival duration between PC and TC, but no statistical difference was observed between PC and VC. There was no statistical difference in 1-year survival rate among the three regimens. The average cost of one patient for one therapeutic cycle was RMB 15840.5, 15831.1 and 9401.8 Yuan respectively. Escalation of 1% of response rate costed RMB 337.75, 325.74 and 199.61 Yuan respectively. Prolongation of 1 month of median survival duration costed RMB 2030.83, 2110.97 and 1237.08 Yuan respectively. Escalation of 1% of one year survival rate costed RMB 422.41 , 426.71 and 246.12 Yuan respectively., Conclusions: Among these three new chemotherapeutic regimens for the advanced patients with NSCLC, the expenditure of VC is much cheaper than PC and TC. The cost effectiveness of VC is the lowest among the three regimens.
