Objective To analyze the status of non-response to hepatitis B vaccine and its related factors in children born to mothers infected with hepatitis B virus (HBV). Methods The children born to mothers with HBV infection reported in Hunan Province from January to December 2022 were selected. All the children received hepatitis B immunoglobulin injection and 3 doses of hepatitis B vaccination and were followed up to 7-12 months of age for detection of hepatitis B surface antigen (HB-sAg) and anti-HBs. Both HBsAg and anti-HBs were negative, indicating that there was no response to hepatitis B vaccine in children. Unconditional binary logistic regression model was used to analyze the related factors of non-response to hepatitis B vaccine in children. Results A total of 9 792 children born to mothers infected with HBV were analyzed. Among 9 792 children, the non-response rate of hepatitis B vaccine was 9.5% (928/9 792). Non-conditional binary Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of non-response to hepatitis B vaccine in children born to HBeAg-positive mothers was 1.62 times higher than that in children born to HBeAg-negative mothers (OR=1.62, 95% CI: 1.40-1.88). The risk of non-response to hepatitis B vaccine in children with macrosomia (birth weight ≥ 4 000g) was 1.41 times higher than that in children with normal birth weight (OR = 1.41, 95% CI: 1.08-1.85). Maternal antiviral therapy (OR=0.59, 95% CI: 0.48-0.73) and child HepB standard vaccination (OR=0.66, 95% CI: 0.57-0.78) were the protective factors of non-response to hepatitis B vaccine in children. Conclusion The non-response rate of hepatitis B vaccine in children born to HBV infected mothers is high, and it is affected by maternal HBeAg positive, antiviral therapy during pregnancy, birth weight, and standard vaccination. Objective To establish a species identification system based on DNA genetic markers for plant evidence. Methods Two hundred common plants in Shanghai were collected and identified by morphological characteristics. The primers of gene segments rbcL, matK, and ITS were designed and amplified. The PCR amplicon was detected by agarose gel electrophoresis. After the sequencing, the universality and the identification capacity of the three markers were evaluated. Results The success rate of amplification was in order of rbcL （99.5%） > matK （92.5%） > ITS （86.0%）. The identification capacity of the combination of rbcL and matK was better than that of rbcL or matK, by which most plant species could be identified to the genus or higher. ITS was not suitable to be a unique marker because of its unstable result, but it still could be a powerful supplement. The identification capacity of the combination of rbcL, matK and ITS was higher than that of rbcL and matK, by which most plant species could be identified to the genus or lower. Conclusion The identification system with the combination of rbcL, matK and ITS as markers has excellent universality for plant evidence, which can distinguish most plant species to the genus or lower.

Objective To report our experiences of direct cortical stimulation in surgery of gliomas located in eloquent areas. Methods Clinical data of 157 patients with gliomas underwent awake craniotomy with the direct electrical stimulation for functional mapping of the eloquent areas were analysed retrospectively. Results Negative cortical stimulation was found in 4 patients, and positive cortical stimulation was achieved in 153 patients (97.45% ). Four hundred and ninty ⁃ six cortical sites in 139 patients were detected for motor response by direct electrical stimulation, 70 sites in 21 patients for sensory, 112 sites in 91 patients for language (such as counting and naming). The positive areas of counting disturbance were mainly seen at the lower part of left precentral gyri operculum of left inferior frontal gyri, triangular part of left inferior frontal gyri, posterior part of left middle frontal gyri, and posterior part of left superior frontal gyri. Postoperative MRI showed 92 patients (58.60%) achieved total resection, 55 cases (35.03%) subtotal and 10 cases (6.37%) partial. One hundred and ten patients (70.06%) were diagnosed as having low grade glimas, including 71 cases of astrocytoma, 26 cases of oligodendroglioma, and 13 cases of mixed astro ⁃ oligodendroglioma, 47 patients (29.94% ) were high grade gliomas, including 19 cases of glioblastoma, 15 cases of anaplastic astrocytoma, and 13 cases of anaplastic oligodendroglioma. After operation 53 patients (33.76% ) occurred transient postoperative paralysis, 39 patients (24.84% ) transient language disturbance and 4 patients (2.55%) permanent neurological deficits. Conclusion Intraoperative direct electrical stimulation is a reliable, precise and safety method for functional mapping of the eloquent areas. Objective: To analyze and investigate the expression levels of HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB in peripheral blood of patients with T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and their significance., Methods: Sixty patients with T-ALL and 60 patients with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) diagnosed in our hospital from June 2012 to March 2015 were enrolled in T-ALL group and AML group, respectively. Another 30 healthy people were enrolled in the control group. Peripheral blood was collected to detect the expression levels of HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB by RT-PCR. The general data and the expression of HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB in peripheral blood were compared among the patients with different type of leukemia, cytogenetical types and different prognosis., Results: There was no significant difference in baseline data, such as age and sex among the 3 groups (P＞0.05). The Hb level, WBC and Plt count, BM blast cell ratio in T-ALL and AML groups all were significantly higher than those in control group (P＜0.01), but there were no statistical difference in above-mentioned indicators between T-ALL and AML groups (P＞0.05). The expression levels of HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB in peripheral blood among 3 groups were significantly differenct (P＜0.01), the expressions levels of HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB in T-ALL and AML groups were significantly higher than those in control were significantly group (P＜0.01), moreover, the expression levels of above-mentional indicators in T-ALL groups were significantly higher than than those in AML group (P＜0.01). The expression levels of HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB iin T-ALL patients with poor prognosis were significantly higher than those in T-ALL patients with favorable prognosis (P＜0.01); the expression levels of HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB in peripheral blood of patients with different theraptic efficacy were follow: complete remission group＜partial remission group＜no remission group (P＜0.01)., Conclusion: The HES1, C-MYC and NF-kB are highly expressed in peripheral blood of the patients with T-ALL, moreover, the expression levels maybe different, because of the cytogenetic, and theraptic efficacy.

Objective: To identify and explore the prognostic risk factors of the hemophagocytic syndrome (HPS)., Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on 50 childhood patients with HPS who were admitted to our hospital between 2007 and 2011. All their medical records were reviewed and analyzed. For each patient, demographic, laboratory data and outcome information were collected. The patients were divided into deceased or survived groups based on the follow-up results. Comparative analysis of the data was done by using independent-samples test and logistic multiple and univariate regression., Results: Among the 50 HPS patients, 30 were male and 20 female, age ranged from 3 months to 10 years. Reduction of serum albumin, cholinesterase and natural killer (NK) cells was found in the forty-six patients. The laboratory features showed an elevation of serum ferritin with hypofibrinogenemia and hypertriglyceridemia in most of the patients. Forty of patients had hemophagocyte in bone marrow at diagnosis of HPS. The positive serum EBV-IgM was found in thirty-five patients.During the observation period, 25 of 37 patients (67.6%) died, while 13 of whom died within a month after hospitalization. The deceased patients were more likely to have lower albumin, cholinesterase, NK cells level and more prolonged active partial thromboplastin time than the survived patients (P < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that duration of illness > 1 month, albumin level < 25 g/L, cholinesterase level < 2000 U/L, NK cell level 0-3% and positive EBV-IgM were related with the prognosis significantly (P < 0.05 for all comparisons)., Conclusion: This study revealed that duration of illness > 1 month, decreases in albumin, NK cell and cholinesterase, and positive EBV-IgM were the risk factors related to mortality in children.

Figure four of the Jiujing Tu (Illustration of Moxibustion) of the Dunhuang Caves is the earliest and the most complete recording of treatment for five kinds of strain and seven kinds of impairments in the history of acupuncture and moxibustion. Figure 12 is held as a mystery since it only provided illustrations without indications. Through analysis and approved by clinical experiences, it is held that the two figures are companion illustrations on prevention and treatment of five kinds of strain and seven kinds of impairments as well as health keeping with moxibustion. The point prescriptions in these two figures are defined according to the tri-gram in Yijing (The Book of Change), which allowed the maximization of harmony between the human and the nature. Recovery and health are thus fulfilled through regulation on points at the head, trunk and four extremities of the body. And it is considered to have great significance for promoting the development of the present acupuncture and moxibustion theory since it is effective in both preventing and curing diseases caused by deficient and stagnation conditions such as the wei (flaccidity) syndrome, bi (arthralgia) syndrome, paralysis, dementia, asthma and so on.

Three-dimensional (3D) culture of cells could closely mimic the in vivo situation with regard to cell function and microenvironment compared with plane monolayer cultured cells. In this paper, we established 3D culture of rat WB-F344 cells with rotary cell culture system (RCCS) to simulate microgravity environment, and examined cells proliferation, morphology, microstructure, E-cadherin protein quantity and mRNA expression of adhesion molecules by count the number of cells, optical microscope, transmission electron microscope and reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The results demonstrated that cells were polyhedron with lots of micovilli and mitochondria, which grow well and packed together densely to form irregular aggregates. Adjacent cells were connected with desmosome and tight junction. With the regard, the aggregates behaved 3D growth characteristics. Moreover, compared with control, mRNA level of Fibronectin and E-cadherin protein were increased, the changes maybe is the part mechanism in this microgravity simulated cells culture models which strengthened cells junction. This rotating 3D model might facilitate the study of interactions of cell-cell, cell-matrix and the mechanisms.

To investigate effects of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) on proliferation and differentiation of rat adipocytes and to elucidate its potential mechanism, rat's primary preadipocytes in vitro were cultured. Treated adipocytes with 0 micromol/L (control group), 40 micromol/L (lower dose group) and 160 micromol/L (higher dose group) DHA. Cell living rations and proliferation were analyzed by trypan blue exclusion and MTT assay. The degree of adipogenesis and differentiation were measured by Oil Red O staining extraction assay and the expression of peroxisome proliferation activated receptor-gamma2 (PPARgamma2) mRNA were detected by reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). It was demonstrated that cells living ration and the optical density (OD) of MTT were all decreased, especially treated by 160 micromol/L DHA at 60 (72 hours (P < 0.05). The OD of Oil Red O staining and the expression of PPARgamma2 mRNA were all decreased after treated by 160 micromol/L DHA (P < 0.01). It can be concluded that DHA can inhibite proliferation and differentiation of adipocytes in some degree. Higher dose of DHA can markedly decrease adipogenesis and prevent differentiation of adipocytes, which may be in part associated with its effect on decreasing the expression of PPARgamma2 mRNA.
