The electrochemical behavior of Li2O in KCl-LiCl molten salt has been studied by cyclic voltammetry and chronopotentiometry. The diffusion coefficient D=0.5×10-5 cm2/s of O2- in KCl-LiCl molten salt at 923 K has been calculated by convolutional voltammetry. Gd2O3, Nd2O3, Sm2O3 and Dy2O3 were used as cathodes to conduct electrolysis in KCl-LiCl-Li2O(w=1%) molten salt(constant voltage 3.40 V, electrolysis temperature 923 K, electrolysis time 25 h). By XRD analysis, it was confirmed that the rare earth oxides are partially reduced to metals, and the possible reactions during the electrolysis process were analyzed. At the same time, the PRS model was used to analyze the electrolytic reduction models of these rare earth oxides, and the optimal porosity(Popt) of Gd2O3, Nd2O3, Sm2O3 and Dy2O3 are 18.7%, 24.2%, 30.6%,16.7%, respectively. The minimum electrolysis time of them are 133, 157, 143, and 119 h, respectively, which are compared with the results of the electrolytic experiment, it is found that the porosity and electrolysis time of the cathode do not meet the requirements for complete reduction of metal oxides, and the corresponding explanation is given.

Pig welfare is closely related to the economical production of pig farms. With regard to pig welfare assessment, pig sounds are significant indicators, which can reflect the quality of the barn environment, the physical condition and the health of pigs. Therefore, pig sound analysis is of high priority and necessary. In this review, the relationship between pig sound and welfare was analyzed. Three kinds of pig sounds are closely related to pig welfare, including coughs, screams, and grunts. Subsequently, both wearable and non-contact sensors were briefly described in two aspects of advantages and disadvantages. Based on the advantages and feasibility of microphone sensors in contactless way, the existing techniques for processing pig sounds were elaborated and evaluated for further in-depth research from three aspects: sound recording and labeling, feature extraction, and sound classification. Finally, the challenges and opportunities of pig sound research were discussed for the ultimate purpose of precision livestock farming (PLF) in four ways: concerning sound monitoring technologies, individual pig welfare monitoring, commercial applications and pig farmers. In summary, it was found that most of the current researches on pig sound recognition tasks focused on the selection of classifiers and algorithm improvement, while fewer research was conducted on sound labeling and feature extraction. Meanwhile, pig sound recognition faces some challenging problems, involving the difficulty in obtaining the audio data from different pig growth stages and verifying the developed algorithms in a variety of pig farms. Overall, it is suggested that technologies involved in the automatic identification process should be explored in depth. In the future, strengthen cooperation among cross-disciplinary experts to promote the development and application of PLF is also nessary.

With the development of mobile networks and APPs,user generated contents (UGC) containing multi-source heterogeneous data such as evaluations,markings,scoring,images and videos are greatly valuable information for improving the quality of personalized services.The representation learning of fusion and vectorization on the multi-source heterogeneous UGC is the most critical issue for the successful application.Motivated by this,we propose a representation learning method for effectively fusing and vectorizing the comments and image data.We utilize the Doc2vec and LDA models to sufficiently extract the features of the multi-source comments.The images correlated with the comments are represented with deep convolutional network.A hybrid vectorized representation learning for fusing comments and a convolution strategy for integrating images and comments are presented.The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by applying it to typical Amazon public data sets with heterogeneous UGC,in which the vectorized multi-source heterogeneous UGC is taken as the representation of each product and the classification accuracy of the products are compared.

BackgroundAlterations in thermal parameters directly affect the safety of reactors. Accurately predicting the trends of key thermal parameters under various working conditions can greatly improve reactor safety, thereby effectively preventing the occurrence of nuclear power plant accidents. The thermal and hydraulic characteristic parameters in the reactor are affected by many factors.PurposeThis study aims to explore the prediction method of core thermal-hydraulic parameters of fast reactor and determine the feasibility of neural network prediction.MethodsThe China experimental fast reactor (CEFR) was selected as the research object, and the maximum temperature of the fuel cladding surface and mass flow rate were used as predictor variables. After data samples were generated through the Subchannel code (named Subchanflow), two widely used adaptive neural networks were employed to perform the thermal parameter forecast analysis of CEFR fuel assembly under steady-state conditions, and CEFR 1/2 core was taken as subject to carry out single-step and continuous predictive analysis of thermal parameters under transient conditions.ResultsThe results show that, compared with adaptive BP neural network, the adaptive RBF neural network exhibits a better fitting ability and higher forecasting accuracy, and its maximum error under steady-state conditions is 0.5%. Under transient conditions, some local points have poor forecasting accuracy, however, the adaptive RBF neural network is generally excellent at predicting temperature and mass flow. The average relative error of temperature does not exceed 1%, and the average relative error of flow does not exceed 6%.ConclusionsThe adaptive RBF neural network model can provide real-time forecasting in a short time under unstable flow conditions, and its forecasting results have certain reference value.

Egg-laying behavior of insect is critical for completing their ontogeny, reproduction, and maintaining population stability. Chemical cues play a dominant role in regulating insect oviposition. Volatile organic compounds released by plants, insects, and microorganisms influence the detection and localization of insect oviposition sites. Exploiting and rationally applying these chemical cues to regulate insect behaviors is an important strategy for environmentally friendly pest control. This article summarizes the diverse egg-laying strategies of insects and their contributing factors, details the sources of chemical information that regulate insect oviposition behavior, and lists the regulatory effects of volatiles released by plants, insect semiochemicals and microorganisms on insect behaviors. The mechanism and research status of oviposition selection mediated by chemical cues are illustrated on the mechanism of the important chemoreceptor proteins in the insect peripheral nervous system, and applications in environmentally friendly prevention and control of agricultural pests are reviewed. Carbon fiber (CF) was modified by different sizing methods (coating method, migration method), and the modified CF was compounded with polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) to prepare carbon fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS/CF) composites. The best way to enhance the comprehensive properties of PPS resin was studied. The effects of different CF modification methods on the mechanical properties of PPS matrix resin were discussed by testing tensile properties, impact properties, bending properties and dynamic mechanics. The results show that CF coated with KH560 solution can combine well with PPS resin matrix. Different content of coupling agent KH560 solution modified CF by migration method can also improve the bonding properties between CF and PPS resin, improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of composites. Aiming at the problem of the deformation of the shape of pump bush, the relationship between temperature and bush shape, the way to refine the shape of bush and the factors that influence the shrinkage of bush were investigated. The temperature field of the bush was simulated through Finite Element Analysis by combining the temperature field and the structure field. The results show that the more differences between the vulcanization temperature and working temperature, the greater deformation of the bushing, the deformation of head is small, while the deformation of waist is large. By reducing the size of waist could ease the influence of temperature change, thus the size accuracy of the pump bush is refined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Focusing on the influence of various disturbing sources under air environment on transfer alignment (TA), a compensating algorithm based on federal neural network was put forward. Firstly, standard Kalman filtering structure was improved by regarding disturbing errors as measurement input. Then, the neural network was designed to form federal structure with two subsystems, which were used to train measurement input estimating error, output layer weight error and hidden layer weight error. Further, the training algorithm of the federal neural network was deduced and its stability was proved, which ensured low computing load and strong feedback capability. The online disturbing errors were efficiently predicted and aided to modified Kalman filter for accurate estimation of misalignment. Results of simulation experiments validate that, without knowing any priori information, the proposed algorithm could timely adapt to TA environment, predict and rectify disturbing errors, achieve fast convergence and high accuracy. As the development of oil and gas enters a high water cut stage, the formation water environment with high Ca2+ and Cl- poses higher requirements for the safe service of pipe columns. In this work, the influence of Ca2+ concentration and exposure time on the corrosion behavior of 3Cr steel was analyzed by using high temperature autoclave to simulate the downhole flow environment and combining with the electrochemical research results. Research results showed that although the presence of Ca2+ could promote solution acidification, the corrosion rate of 3Cr steel in solutions containing Ca2+ depended more on the quality of the film on the sample surface. When the total Cl- concentration in the solution was 128 000 mg/L and the Ca2+ concentration ranged from 0 to 3 600 mg/L, the maximum average weight loss rate of 2.2 mm/a occurred at the Ca2+ concentration of 1 080 mg/L. Meanwhile, in an environment with a Ca2+ concentration of 180 mg/L, the weight loss rate curve of 3Cr steel showed an inverse “V” trend of weight loss rate over time, and the average weight loss rate of the sample reached the maximum value at the corrosion time of 240 h. When 3Cr steel was immersed in a solution containing Ca2+ with introducing CO2, the FexCa1-xCO3 compounds were formed on the surface of 3Cr steel. In addition, there was no strict ratio between Fe/Ca, and the product states depended on the Ca2+ concentration in the solution.

The mechanism of submerged entry nozzles (SEN) clogging with AISI 321 stainless steel billet was investigated by analyzing the structure and composition of the SEN deposits. The results of deposits dissection indicate that nozzle clogs consist of TiN, metal and slag. Then the thermodynamic model of TiN in the steel and solidification was established. The results show that the existence of TiO2 transition layer, high concentration product of titanium and nitrogen, and worse cleanness of the liquid steel have roles to play in the formation of deposits. Therefore the mechanism of clogging can be explained as follows. At first, a transition layer of TiO2 forms at the SEN refractory because of the reaction of[Ti] with the silicates in the SEN refractory during casting. Subsequently the good heat transfer properties of titanium oxide layer can cause a large drop in temperature of molten steel which makes it possible for the formation of the TiN deposits, additionally low cleanness deteriorates the cast-ability of molten steel. In the end, the growth of the deposits leads to the nozzle clogging.

The effect of alkaline oxide content,optical basicity,total iron content in slag and temperature on the measured slag phosphate capacity was investigated through the calculation and analysis of the slag phosphate capacity during the converter dephosphorization process combined with previous study. The relationship between phosphate capacity and composition of slag was fitted according to the production data. In addition,different prediction models of phosphate capacity were compared and analyzed from previous studies. Based on the coexistence theory,the prediction model of phosphate capacity in slag system was established,and the error analysis shows that the prediction model is accurate and credible,which can provide a theoretical guidance for the field production.

As a generally-recognized-as-safe microorganism, Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a widely studied chassis cell for the production of high-value or bulk chemicals in the field of synthetic biology. In recent years, a large number of synthesis pathways of chemicals have been established and optimized in S . cerevisiae by various metabolic engineering strategies, and the production of some chemicals have shown the potential of commercialization. As a eukaryote, S . cerevisiae has a complete inner membrane system and complex organelle compartments, and these compartments generally have higher concentrations of the precursor substrates (such as acetyl-CoA in mitochondria), or have sufficient enzymes, cofactors and energy which are required for the synthesis of some chemicals. These features may provide a more suitable physical and chemical environment for the biosynthesis of the targeted chemicals. However, the structural features of different organelles hinder the synthesis of specific chemicals. In order to ameliorate the efficiency of product biosynthesis, researchers have carried out a number of targeted modifications to the organelles grounded on an in-depth analysis of the characteristics of different organelles and the suitability of the production of target chemicals biosynthesis pathway to the organelles. In this review, the reconstruction and optimization of the biosynthesis pathways for production of chemicals by organelle mitochondria, peroxisome, golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum, lipid droplets and vacuole compartmentalization in S . cerevisiae are reviewed in-depth. Current difficulties, challenges and future perspectives are highlighted.

Stenotrophomonas species are non-fermentative Gram-negative bacteria that are widely distributed in environment and are highly resistant to numerous antibiotics. Thus, Stenotrophomonas serves as a reservoir of genes encoding antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The detection rate of Stenotrophomonas is rapidly increasing alongside their strengthening intrinsic ability to tolerate a variety of clinical antibiotics. This review illustrated the current genomics advances of antibiotic resistant Stenotrophomonas , highlighting the importance of precise identification and sequence editing. In addition, AMR diversity and transferability have been assessed by the developed bioinformatics tools. However, the working models of AMR in Stenotrophomonas are cryptic and urgently required to be determined. Comparative genomics is envisioned to facilitate the prevention and control of AMR, as well as to gain insights into bacterial adaptability and drug development.

Objective: To explore and study the clinical usefulness of continuous dynamic recording of left cardiac function changes forevaluation the improvement in patients with chronic disease after 3 months of intensive control of individualized precision exercise overall manage program. Methods: From 2018 to 2021, 21 patients with chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular metabolic diseases mainly controlled by our team were selected to complete the cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) and Non-invasive synchronous cardiac function detector (N-ISCFD), electrocardiogram, radial pulse wave, jugular pulse wave and cardiogram data were continuously recorded for 50s.According to the titration results under CPET and continuous functional parameters monitoring, a holistic plan with individualized moderate exercise intensity as the core was developed for 3 months of intensive management, and then N-ISCFD data collection was repeatedafter signing the informed consent. All N-ISCFD data were analyzed in the 50s according to the optimal report mode of Fuwai Hospital and 52 cardiac functional indexes were calculated. The data before and after the enhanced control were compared and the paired T-test was used to statistically analyze the changes of groups. Results: Twenty-one patients with chronic diseases (16 male and 5 female) were (54.05±12.77,29~75) years, BMI (25.53±4.04,16.62~31.7) kg/m 2 .Comparison with baseline,the whole group analysis: ①The body weight, BMI, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure of patients were significantly decreased( P ＜0.01).②CPET Peak VO 2 was (64.93±24.22, 26.96~103.48) %Pred before enhanced control, and (85.22±30.31, 43.95~140.48) %Pred after enhanced control, and increased (35.09±27.87, 0.12~129.35) % after enhanced control compared with before enhanced control. The AT, Peak VO 2 /HR, Peak Work Rate, OUEP, FVC, FEV 1 , FEV3/FVC% and MVV were significantly increased ( P ＜0.01) and the Lowest VE/VCO 2 and VE/VCO 2 Slope were significantly decreased( P ＜0.01).③Core indicators of left heart function:Ejection fraction was significantly increased from (0.60±0.12,0.40~0.88) to(0.66±0.09, 0.53~0.87)( P ＜ 0.01), by (12.39±14.90,-12.32~41.11)%. The total peripheral resistance was significantly decreased from (1579.52±425.45,779.46~2409.61) G/(cm 4 ·s),to(1340.44±261.49,756.05~1827.01) G/(cm 4 ·s)( P ＜0.01), by (12.00±17.27,37.79~28.61) %.The left stroke index, cardiac total power, ejective pressure and left ventricular end diastolic volumewere significantly improved ( P ＜0.05).The change analysis of each indicator for each patient is shown in the individualized analysis section of this study. Conclusion: Use CPET and continuous functional monitoring we can safely and effectively develop the overall program of individualized exercise in patients with chronic diseases. Long-term intensive management and control can safely and effectively significantly improve the cardiovascular function of patients. Continuous dynamic recording of changes in left and right cardiac functional parameters can be a simple way to supplement CPET to evaluate cardiovascular function.

Objective: The new theory of holistic integrative physiology and medicine, which describes the integrative regulation of respiratory, circulatory and metabolic systems in human body, generates the hypothesis of that breath is the origin of variability of circulatory parameters. We investigated the origin of heart rate variability by analyzing relationship between the breath and heart rate variability (HRV) during sleep. Methods: This retrospective study analyzed 8 normal subjects (NS) and 10 patients of chronic diseases without sleep apnea (CDs-no-SA). After signed the informed consent form, they performed cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) in Fuwai Hospital and monitored polysomnography (PSG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) during sleep since 2014. We dominantly analyzed the correlation between the respiratory cycle during sleep and the heart rate variability cycle of the ECG R-R interval. The HRV cycle included the HR increase from the lowest to the highest and decrease from the highest to the lowest point. The number of HRV (HRV-n), average HRV time and other parameters were calculated. The breath cycle included complete inhalation and subsequent exhalation. The number of breath (B-n), average breath time and other breath parameters were analyzed and calculated. We analyzed each person's relationship between breath and HRV; and the similarities and differences between the NS and CDs-no-SA groups. Independent sample t test was used for statistical analysis, with P<0.05. Results: CPET core parameter such as Peak VO 2 (83.8±8.9)% in NS were significantly higher than that (70.1±14.9)% in patients of chronic diseases without sleep apnea (P<0.05), but there was no difference between their AHI (1.7±1.3) in NS and AHI (2.9±1.2) in CDs-no-SA (P>0.05). The B-n and the HRV-n (6581.63±1411.90 vs 6638.38±1459.46), the average B time and the average HRV time (4.19±0.57)s vs (4.16±0.62)s in NS were similar without significant difference (P>0.05). The comparison of the numbers in CDs-no-SA were the number (7354.50±1443.50 vs 7291.20±1399.31) and the average times ((4.20±0.69)s vs (4.23±0.68)s) of B and HRV were similar without significant difference (P>0.05). The ratios of B-n/HRV-n in NS and CDs-no-SA were (0.993±0.027 vs 1.008±0.024) and both were close to 1 and similar without significant difference (P>0.05). The average magnitude of HRV in NS ((5.74±3.21) bpm) was significantly higher than that in CDs-no-SA ((2.88±1.44) bpm) (P<0.05). Conclusion: Regardless of the functional status of NS and CDs-no-SA, there is a similar consistency between B and HRV. The origin of initiating factors of HRV is the respiration.

Objective: Based on the hypothesis that respiration causes variability of circulatory indicators proposed by the holistic integrated physiology and medicine theory, the correlation between respiration and heart rate variability during sleep in chronically ill patients with abnormal sleep breathing is analyzed. Methods: Eleven chronically ill patients with abnormal sleep breathing and apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) ≥15 times/hr are recruited. After signing the informed consent, they completed the standardized symptomatic restrictive extreme exercise cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) and sleep breathing monitoring Calculate and analyze the rules of respiratory nasal airflow and ECG RR interval heart rate variability during the oscillatory breathing (OB) phase and the normal steady breathing phase of the patient during sleep, and use the independent sample t test to compare with normal people and no sleep breathing abnormalities in the same period in this laboratory. Of patients with chronic diseases are more similar and different. Results: The peak oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold (AT) of CPET in chronic patients with abnormal sleep apnea were (70.8±13.6)% Pred and (71.2±6.1)% Pred; 5 cases of CPET had exercise induced oscillatory breathing (EIOB), 6 An example is unstable breathing, which indicates that the overall functional status is lower than normal. In this group of patients with chronic diseases, AHI (28.8±10.0) beats/h, the ratio of the total time of abnormal sleep breathing to the total time of sleep (0.38±0.25); the length of the OB cycle (51.1±14.4)s. The ratio (Bn/HRV-B-n) of the number of breathing cycles in the normal and steady breathing period to the number of heart rate variability cycles in this group of patients with chronic diseases is 1.00±0.04, and the CV (SD of HRV-B-M/x) is (0.33 ±0.11), blood oxygen saturation (SpO 2 ) did not decrease significantly, the average amplitude of heart rate variability (HRV-B-M) of each respiratory cycle rhythm was (2.64±1.59) bpm, although it was lower than normal people (P<0.05) , But it was similar to chronic patients without sleep apnea (P>0.05). In this group of patients with chronic diseases, the ratio of the number of respiratory cycles to the number of heart rate variability cycles (OB-Bn/OB-HRV-B-n) during OB is (1.22±0.18), and the average amplitude of heart rate variability for each respiratory cycle rhythm in OB (OB -HRV-B-M) is (3.56±1.57)bpm and its variability (OB-CV = SD of OB-HRV-B-M/x) is (0.59±0.28), the average amplitude of heart rate variability in each OB cycle rhythm (OB-HRV-OB-M) is (13.75±4.25)bpm, SpO 2 decreases significantly during hypoventilation during OB, and the average decrease in SpO 2 during OB (OB-SpO 2 -OB-M) is (4.79±1.39)%. The OB-Bn/OB-HRV-B-n ratio, OB-HRV-OB-M and OB-SpO 2 -OB-M in the OB period are all significantly higher than the corresponding indicators in the normal stable breathing period Large (P<0.01). Although OB-HRV-B-M has no statistically significant difference compared with HRV-B-M in normal stable breathing period (P>0.05), its variability OB-CV is significantly increased (P<0.01). Conclusion: The heart rate variability of chronic patients with abnormal sleep breathing in the OB phase is greater than that of the normal stable breathing period. When the breathing pattern changes, the heart rate variability also changes significantly. The number of breathing cycles in the stable breathing period is equal to the number of heart rate variability cycles.The ratio is the same as that of normal people and chronically ill patients without sleep apnea, confirming that heart rate variability is respiratory origin; and the reduction of heart rate variability relative to the respiratory cycle during OB is directly caused by hypopnea or apnea at this time, and heart rate variability is also breathing source.

Objective: To observe and study the resting radial artery pulse wave and changes after a single individualized exercise in patients with long-term chronic diseases. Methods: We selected 16 patients with chronic disease (disease duration ≥5 years) who have been clearly diagnosed as hypertension and/or diabetes and/or hyperlipemia, and first completed the symptom-restricted limit cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET). Then a single individualized exercise with Δ50% power as the exercise intensity was completed within one week after CPET. We measured and recorded 50s pulse wave data before exercise and 10 min, 20 min, 30 min after exercise, then obtained each pulse wave characteristic point: starting point (B), main wave peak point (P1), trough of a repulse point (PL), crest of a repulse point (P2), and end point (E). The raw data of the abscissa (time T) and ordinate (amplitude Y) corresponding to each point were derived from the instrument. We treated the end point E of the previous pulse wave as the start point B of the next wave, returned TB to zero, and got the main observation indicators: YB, YP1, YPL, YP2 and TP1, TPL, TP2, TE, and calculated out ΔYP1, ΔYPL, ΔYP2, TE-TPL, (TE-TPL)/TPL, pulse rate, S1, S2 ,ΔYP2-ΔYPL and TP2-TPL as secondary observation indicators. Then calculated the occurrence rate of dicrotic wave with obvious crest. Finally we analyzed individually the 50 s pulse wave data of each patient before and after exercise, and then averaged all the data for overall analysis. ΔYPL, TE-TPL, (TE-TPL)/TPL decreased, and ΔYP1, pulse rate, S1, ΔYP2-ΔYPL, TP2 -TPL increased (all P<0.05). The change trend of pulse wave at 20min and 30min after exercise was consistent with that at 10min after exercise, but most indicators gradually recovered to the resting level before exercise from 10 min. ④The appearance rate of dicrotic wave with obvious crest in 16 patients with long-term chronic disease at rest was 28.6%, and the appearance rate of 10 min (65.7%), 20 min (77.1%), 30 min (73.7%) after exercise was significantly increased (all P< 0.01). In 6 patients, the incidence of dicrotic waves with obvious peaks after exercise was significantly increased, and it could continue until 30 minutes. In 3 patients, the incidence increased significantly 10 minutes after exercise, and began to decrease at 20 minutes. In 1 patient, the rate of appearance only started to increase 20 minutes after exercise. In 2 patients, the incidence increased 10 minutes after exercise and then decreased. In 1 patient, the rate of occurrence increased briefly 20 minutes after exercise and then decreased. The incidence of 1 patient dropped after exercise and began to rise at 20 minutes. In 2 cases, the incidence rate did not increase after exercise, and it increased slightly after 30 minutes. Conclusion: In patients with long-term chronic diseases, the radial artery pulse wave is short and the dicrotic wave is not obvious or even disappears. After a single precise power exercise, the main wave increases, the position of the dicrotic wave decreases, and the amplitude increases. The specific response should be analyzed individually.

Objective: Under the guidance of the new theory of holistic integrated physiology and medicine, the effect of individualized accurate exercise program on the overall functional state was studied according to cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET). Methods: Li xx, female, 31 years old, has a fast heart rate since childhood (90~100 bpm), usually feel cold, especially in autumn and winter, and general health good. CPET was performed after signing the informed consent form at Fuwai Hospital in September 2019. Peak oxygen uptake, anaerobic threshold (AT), and peak cardiac output were (69~72)% pred, respectively, and the oxygen uptake ventilation efficiency and carbon dioxide exhaust ventilation efficiency were basically normal (96~100)% pred. The resting heart rate was fast, the blood pressure was low, the blood pressure response was weak during exercise, and the heart rate was mainly increased. The holistic integrated physiology medical theory pointed out that she was in weak health and heart weakness was the main manifestation. CPET was used to guide individualized precise exercise intensity titration, combine continuous beat-by-beat blood pressure, ECG, pulse and blood glucose dynamic monitoring to formulate an holisticplan of individualized quantitative exercise .Reexamine CPET after 8 weeks' strengthening management. Results: After 8 weeks of intensive holistic management, the limbs were warm and the cold symptoms disappeared. Re-examination of CPET peak oxygen uptake, AT and peak cardiac output were (90~98)% pred, which increased by (30~36)% respectively, and the holistic weak functional status was significantly improved; basically normal oxygen uptake ventilation efficiency and carbon dioxide exhaust ventilation efficiency also increased by (10~37)% respectively; resting heart rate and blood pressure basically returned to normal, and blood pressure and heart rate response during exercise were normal. Continuous ambulatory blood glucose monitoring indicated that the average blood glucose level decreased slightly and became more stable. Repeated measurement results of continuous ECG and beat-to-beat blood pressure also indicated a decrease in heart rate and an increase in blood pressure during rest, exercise and during sleep, and radial pulse wave. The amplitude of the dicrotic wave increases and becomes more pronounced. Conclusion: The new theoretical system to guide CPET to formulate an holistic plan for individualized precision exercise can safely and effectively enhance myocardial contractility, increase stroke volume, increase blood pressure, lower heart rate, stabilize and slightly lower blood glucose, and improve holistic functional status.

Objective: Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) was used to investigate the exercise pathophysiology of mitral regurgitation. Methods: 26 patients with moderate and severe mitral regurgitation who completed standardized extreme exercise CPET under strict quality control after signing informed consent since 2016, and 11 normal subjects in the same period as the control group. The core indexes of CPET were analyzed and calculated according to the standard method and compared with normal subjects for intergroup statistical independent sample t-test. At the same time, the patients with heart failure and exercise oscillation breathing (OB) were divided into two subgroups: 11 cases without heart failure, 15 cases with heart failure, 8 cases with non-OB and 18 cases with OB, and their similarities and differences were compared between each subgroup. Results: The core indexes of CPET, such as peak oxygen uptake (85.60 ±9.06)%pred and anaerobic threshold (AT, (87.59 ±15.38)%pred) were normal. The peak oxygen uptake of CPET in patients with mitral regurgitation was (48.15 ±12.11)%pred, peak oxygen pulse was (66.57 ±12.20)%pred, AT was (56.75 ±11.50)%pred, oxygen uptake efficiency plateau was (88.24 ±16.42)%pred , lowest value of carbon dioxide ventilatory efficiency was (125.89 ±27.05)%pred and slope of carbon dioxide ventilatory efficiency was (128.31 ±31.68)%pred. Among them, only oxygen uptake efficiency plateau (OUEP) was normal and low, and the other indexes were significantly abnormal. There were significant differences between the patients and the control group (P<0.01). There was no significant difference between the non-OB group and the OB group, but there was significant difference between the non-OB group and the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the non-heart failure group and the heart failure group, but there was significant difference between the non-heart failure group and the control group. Conclusion: All the core indexes of cardiopulmonary exercise are significantly abnormal in patients with mitral regurgitation who are significantly lower than those in normal subjects except for the low effectiveness of oxygen ventilation. And with or without heart failure and OB did not affect the cardiopulmonary function.

Objective: To verify that the cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) performed by clinical subjects is the maximum extreme exercise, we designed The Max test（Max）during clinical CPET. We used Max to verify the accuracy of the quantitative CPET evaluation result, and whether it is feasible and safe to use the specific value of a certain index as the standard for stopping CPET. Methods: Two hundred and sixteen cases from Fuwai Hospital were selected during June 2017 to January 2019,including 41 healthy person（control group） and 175with cardiovascular diseases（patient group）,The patients had a CPET peak RER ≤ 1.10, or the peak heart rate and peak blood pressure were basically non-responsive.The Max was first attempted in 60 subjects,and this study is further expanded . When the CPET ended, they had a 5-minute break, then the Max, during which, they cycled with a velocity of ≥ 60 r/min, at a constant intensity equivalent to to 130% of peak work,until exhausted.The difference and percentage difference between the peak heart rate and the peak oxygen uptake were calculated. ①If the percentage difference of heart rate and oxygen uptake are all less than -10%,then the Max is defined as failure,otherwise it is succesful. 2 If the percentage difference is between -10%~10%, then the Max is successful, which proved that the CPET is precise.③If the difference is ≥10%, the Max is successful, which proves that the CPET is non-extreme exercise. Results: Patient group's Peak VO 2 (L/min,ml/(min·kg)),anaerobic threshold (L/min,ml/(min·kg),%pred),Peak VO 2 /HR(ml/beat, % pred),Peak RER,Peak SBP,Peak WR,peak heart rate,OUEP （ratio,%pred） were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05)．The VE/ VCO 2 Slope （ratio,%pred）and Lowest VE/ VCO 2 （ratio,%pred） were higher in the patient group than in the control group (P<0.05)．No adverse events occurred during the CPET and Max in all cases. Among the 216 cases,Max was successful in 198 cases(91.7%)．CPET was proved to be maximum extreme exercise for 182 cases,non-maximum extreme exercise for 16 cases,and failed in 18 cases(8.3%)． Conclusion: For CPET with a low peak RER and a maximum challenge,the Max can confirm the accuracy of the objective quantitative assessment of CPET. Max is safe and feasible,and that deserved further research and clinical application.

Objective: Observe the increased anatomical dead space of the mask, summarize the law of exercise induced oscillatory breathing (EIOB) in the results of CPET's new 9 figure, and analyze its incidence and age groups that are prone to oscillatory breathing. Methods: After signed the informed consent form by guardian, 501 children from pre-school to middle-school, aged 3~14 year, performed Harbor-UCLA standard protocol CPET with strict quality control in the CPET laboratory of Liaocheng Children's Hospital since 2014. CPET data was interpreted second by second from the breath by breath collection, averaged by 10s and then display by 9 plots. We analyzed the trends, pattern, incidence and age difference for EIOB and gas leakage. Results: The incidence of EIOB was the highest in the 3 to 6-year-old group, which was 42%. The 7 to 10-year-old group was 29.4% and the 11- to 14-year-old group was 29.9%. The three groups were tested by chi-square (x 2 =7.512), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 14 out of 508 children had air leakage during CPET, the incidence rate was 2.7%. Conclusion: The phenomenon of oscillatory breathing (OB) in children may be caused by the increased anatomical dead space of the mask, and it is not caused by disease. To improve the quality of CPET and to reduce clinical misdiagnosis, it is recommended to use a mouthpiece to decrease the dead space rather than the musk.

Objective: To observe and study the resting radial artery pulse wave and the pulse wave changes after a single individualized exercise in young healthy normal subjects. Methods: We selected 16 young healthy graduate students, advanced training doctors, and visiting scholars from Fuwai Hospital without any disease diagnosis and low daily exercise. They first completed the symptom-restricted limit cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET). A single individualized exercise with Δ50% power as the exercise intensity was completed within one week after CPET. We measured and recorded 50 s pulse wave data before exercise and 10 min, 20 min, 30min after exercise, let the instrument automatically fix the point and then manually recheck to obtain each pulse wave characteristic point: starting point (B), main wave peak point (P1), trough of a repulse point (PL), crest of a repulse point (P2), and end point (E), and the raw data of the abscissa (time T) and ordinate (amplitude Y) corresponding to each point were derived from the instrument. We treated the end point E of the previous pulse wave as the start point B of the next wave, returned TB to zero, and got the main observation indicators: YB, YP1, YPL, YP2 and TP1, TPL, TP2, TE, and calculated out ΔYP1 (YP1-YB), ΔYPL (YPL-YB), ΔYP2 (YP2-YB), TE-TPL, (TE-TPL)/TPL, pulse rate, S1 (the slope of main wave ascending branch), S2 (the slope of dicrotic ascending branch), ΔYP2-ΔYPL and TP2-TPL as secondary observation indicators; defined the dicrotic wave with obvious crest as YP2>YPL, and calculated the occurrence rate of dicrotic wave with obvious crest (number of waveforms with YP2>YPL in 50 s /total number of waveforms×100%). We analyzed individually the 50 s pulse wave data of each subject before and after exercise, and then averaged all the data for overall analysis. Results: ①16 healthy young subjects (males 10, females 6), age (30.6±6.4, 24~48) years old; height (170.4±8.2, 160~188) cm; body mass (63.9±12.8, 43~87) kg. ②YB (87.2±5.8, 78.1~95.9), YP1 (223.5±15.8, 192.7~242.3), YPL (122.8±7.8, 110.0~133.8), YP2 (131.4±4.9, 116.7~137.5), TP1 (126.2±42.2, 94.2~280.0), TPL (360.2±44.8, 311.5~507.3), TP2 (432.4±50.8, 376.2~589.0), TE (899.7±86.9, 728.3~1042.0). ΔYP1 (136.3±19.9, 96.8~ 158.6), ΔYPL (35.7±10.7, 16.0~55.7), ΔYP2 (44.3±8.1, 22.5~56.5), TE-TPL (539.5±79.3, 405.9~691.3), (TE-TPL)/TPL (1.5±0.3, 0.8~2.0), pulse rate (67.3±6.6, 57.6~82.4), S1 (1.1±0.2, 0.6~1.4), S2 (0.1±0.1, 0.0~0.2), ΔYP2-ΔYPL (8.6±6.1, 0.9 ~19.8), TP2-TPL (72.3±19.9, 38.3~108.4). ③10 min after exercise, YPL (97.0±13.2 vs 122.8±7.8), YP2 (109.6±12.8 vs 131.4±4.9), ΔYPL (6.6±9.8 vs 35.7±10.7), ΔYP2 (19.3±11.2 vs 44.3±8.1), TE (667.8±123.1 vs 899.7±86.9), TE-TPL (330.2±128.4 vs 539.5±79.3), (TE-TPL)/TPL (1.0±0.4 vs 1.5±0.3) decreased, while the pulse rate (92.2± 14.0 vs 67.3±6.6), ΔYP2-ΔYPL (12.7±9.7 vs 8.6±6.1), TP2-TPL (98.0±38.1 vs 72.3±19.9) increased (all P<0.05). The trend of pulse wave changes at 20 min and 30 min after exercise was consistent with that at 10 min after exercise, but from 20 min, most of the indicators gradually recovered to the resting level before exercise. ④The incidence of dicrotic waves with obvious peaks in 16 young healthy persons at rest was 94.5%, and increased at 10 min (96.3%), 20 min (98.5%), and 30 min (99.8%) after exercise (all P<0.01). Among them, the incidence of dicrotic waves with obvious peaks before and after exercise was maintained at about 100% in 10 subjects. The appearance rate of 2 cases had reached 100% before exercise, but it decreased at 10 minutes after exercise, and then continued to increase, at 30 minutes recovered to 100%. Three subjects had a low resting rate and started to increase after exercise. In 1 case, the rate was low only 20 minutes after exercise, considering the influence of human factors. Conclusion: The influence of exercise on the pulse wave of normal people is mainly reflected in the dicrotic wave. On the whole, after a single precise power exercise, the position of the dicrotic wave is reduced, the amplitude is deepened, and the appearance rate of the dicrotic wave with obvious crest is generally increased, and this change can be maintained for at least 30 minutes. From an individual point of view, the response trend of each subject is different.

Objective: Subjects used upper limb (arm dynamometer) and lower limb precision electromagnetic power meter (cycle ergometer) to perform symptom-restricted limit cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET). Then we analyzed the clinical value of arm ergometer CPET. Methods: The upper limb and lower limb precision electromagnetic power meters were used to complete the CPET in two different days for 6 normal people and 9 chronic patients. We analyzed CPET data, calculated related core indicators, and compared normal subjects and chronic patients to analyze the similarities and differences between upper and lower extremities and their correlations. Results: ①Compared with 9 patients with chronic diseases, there were significant differences in age ((33.2±12.7) vs (53.6±8.5) years) and diagnosis in 6 normal people. ②The Peak HR ((131.0±19.0) vs (153.0±22.0) bpm,P<0.05) of upper limb CPET of 15 subjects were lower than lower limb CPET, but the difference in blood pressure was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The Peak V T ((1.3±0.4) vs (1.8±0.4) L) and Peak VE ((51.4±21.1) vs (67.9±22.1) L/min) of lower limb CPET were significantly higher than that of upper limb (all P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in Peak BF When upper limb CPET was used, EX-time ((6.4±0.6) vs (8.5±1.2) min) was shorter than lower limb CPET; Peak Work Rate((73.2±19.6) vs (158.5±40.3) W/min), Peak VO 2 ((1.1±0.4) vs (1.7±0.4) L/min), AT ((0.6±0.2) vs (0.9±0.2) L/min), Peak VO 2 /HR ((8.6±2.3) vs (10.9±2.6) ml/beat), OUEP (34.7±4.3 vs 39.8±5.3)were lower, and the Lowest VE/VCO 2 (32.6±3.8 vs 28.7±4.9), VE/VCO 2 Slope (33.9±4.3 vs 28.3±6.2)were higher than those of lower limb CPET (all P<0.05). The comparison results of the two subgroups of normal and chronic patients were the same as the holistic comparison results. ③EX-time, Peak HR, Peak BF, Peak VT and Peak VE of upper limb CPET had good correlation with the results of lower limb CPET. Besides, the measured value and percentage of the projected value of Peak Work Rate, the measured value, kilogram weight value of Peak VO 2 and AT, and percentage of the projected value of Peak VO 2 , the measured value of Peak VO 2 /HR also had good correlation. The measured value of OUEP, the measured value and percentage of the projected value of Lowest VE/VCO 2 and VE/VCO 2 Slope were also the same, when the other indicators had no significant correlation. Conclusion: As a supplement to lower limb CPET, upper limb CPET is highly feasible and safe for holistic functional status assessment. It provides an important supplement to guide the implementation of the holistic plan of individualized precision exercise, which is worthy of our further exploration.

Objective: To study the symptom-restricted extreme cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) to evaluate the improvement of the overall function of patients with long-term chronic diseases after intensive control of personalized precise exercise training for 3 months. Methods: We selected 20 patients with chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular metabolic diseases who were intensively controlled by our team from 2014 to 2016. After signing the informed consent form, based on the results of CPET and continuous functional tests, we formulated the overall management plan with individualized moderate exercise intensity as the core. After 3 months, CPET was performed. The changes of CPET indicators before and after intensive control in each patient were analyzed individually. Then the difference value and percentage difference value were calculated. Results: In this study, 20 patients (18 males and 2 females) with chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular metabolic diseases, aged (55.75±10.80, 26~73) years, height (172.20±8.63, 153~190) cm, weight (76.35±15.63, 53~105) kg, all patients were not any dangerous events during the period of CPET and intensive control.①After intensive control, the static pulmonary function index, resting systolic blood pressure, rate blood pressure product and fasting blood glucose were significantly improved (P<0.05).②Before intensive control, the peak oxygen uptake is (55.60±15.69, 34.37~77.45) % pred and anaerobic threshold is (60.11±12.26, 43.29~80.63)% pred; after intensive control, the peak oxygen uptake is (71.85±21.04, 42.40~102.00) % pred and anaerobic threshold (74.95±17.03, 51.90~99.47) %pred. Compared with before the intensive control, the peak oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold of all patients after intensive control were significantly increased by (29.09±7.38,17.78~41.80) % and(25.16±18.38, 1.77~81.86)%(all P<0.01). Other core indexes were also improved significantly, including peak oxygen uptake,peak heart rate, peak work rate, oxygen uptake efficiency plateau, lowest value of carbon dioxide ventilatory efficiency, slope of ventilatory equivalent for carbon dioxide, ramp exercise duration(all P<0.01).③In terms of individualized analysis, after intensive control, the above 8 CPET core indexes were all improved in 15 cases, and 7 indexes in 5 cases were improved; the peak oxygen uptakeof all cases increased by more than 15%, 16 cases > 20%, 13 cases > 25%, 10 cases > 30%. Conclusion: CPET can safely, objectively and quantitatively evaluate the overall functional status and therapeutic effects, and guide the formulation of individualized precise exercise intensity. The overall plan of individualized precision exercise for three months can safely and effectively reverse the overall functional status of patients with long-term cardio-cerebrovascular metabolism diseases.

Objective: Insufcient exercise blood pressure response(blunted ABPR) and lower blood pressure during the recovery period (LBP)after exercise are common abnormalities in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). The purpose of this study was to analyze the related factors of these two types of abnormal blood pressure response in HCM patients and their relationship with cardiopulmonary function. Methods: A total of 219 consecutive HCM patients who underwent CPET in Fuwai hospital were recruited from April 1, 2018 to Jan 31, 2020 with a complete clinical assessment, including electrocardiography, HOLTER, rest echocardiography and cardiac MRI. One hundred and eleven healthy age- and gender-matched volunteers enrolled as control group. Results: The incidences of blunted ABPR and LBP in HCM patients were much higher than normal control group (8.7% vs 1.8%, P=0.016; 6.8% vs 0.0%, P=0.003, respectively). In HCM group, patients with blunted ABPR combined more coronary artery disease (CAD) (P=0.029), pulmonary hypertension (PH) (P=0.002) and atrial fibrillation/flutter (P=0.036) compared with patients without blunted ABPR. Compared with HCM patients without LBP, the patients with LBP had higher rest left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) gradient (P=0.017) and left ventricular ejection fraction (P=0.043), more incidence of LVOT obstructive (P=0.015) and systolic anterior motion (P=0.022). After Logistic regression analysis, CAD and PH were independent factor of blunted ABPR, while LBP was only independently associated with rest LVOT gradient. Blunted ABPR was associated with lower Peak VO 2 , peak heart rate and hear rate reserve, and higher NT-proBNP (P=0.019), VE/VO 2 (P=0.000). LBP was not associated with any index of cardiopulmonary function. Conclusion: The incidences of blunted ABPR and LBP in HCM patients were much higher than normal control group. In HCM patients, CAD and PH were independent determinants of blunted ABPR, while LBP was only independently associated with rest LVOT gradient. Patients with blunted ABPR had lower cardiopulmonary function, but LBP was not associated cardiopulmonary function.

Objective: The patients with Hypertrophic CardioMyopathy (HCM), characterized by hypertrophy of the myocardium with a high risk of sudden death, was less clear for the exercise pathophysiology. Under the guidance of holistic integrative physiology and medicine (HIPM), the ramp protocol symptom-limited CardioPulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) is the only method to evaluate the overall functional status of human body. We investigated the CPET pathophysiology in patients with HCM. Methods: From April 2017 to January 2020, 244 subjects were enrolled after signed the informed consent form and completing CPET in Fuwai Hospital. They 219 HCM patients and 25 healthy normal subjects as control (NS). The changes of CPET core parameters between two them were calculated, compared and did Individual analysis. Results: ①The gender of HCM was 163 maleand 56 female. The gender of NS was 11 male and 14 female. The age of HCM was (46.7±12.8, 16.0~71.0) year; NS was (43.7±10.4, 26.0~61.0) year.②The core CPET parameters of HCM: peak oxygen uptake (Peak VO 2 ) was (65.2±13.8, 22.8~103.4) %pred; anaerobic threshold (AT) was (66.4±13.0, 33.7~103.5) %pred; Peak O 2 pulse was (84.3±19.0, 90.9~126.0)%pred; oxygen uptake efficiency platform (OUEP) was (99.2±13.4, 69.1~155.5) %pred; Lowest VE/VCO 2 was (108.0±13.2, 70.4~154.0)%pred; VE/VCO 2 Slope was (108.5±17.9, 66.9~164.9)%pred. Compared with NS, the Peak VO 2 , AT, Peak O 2 pulse, and OUEP were significantly decreased (P<0.01 or P<0.05), but the Lowest VE/VCO 2 and VE/VCO 2 Slope were significantly increased (P<0.05). For Individual analysis of the overall functional status of CPET, some were very sever but some HCM were still within the normal range.③ The Peak VO 2 was positively correlated with AT, OUEP, Peak O 2 pulse, and peak systolic blood pressure, but was negative correlated with Lowest VE/VCO 2 and VE/VCO 2 Slope. Conclusion: CPET is safe and specific characteristics for patients with HCM, which deserve further research and clinical application. Under HIPM guidance, CPET can not only be used for overall functional evaluation, disease diagnosis and differential diagnosis, risk stratification, curative effect evaluation and accurate prognostic prediction, but also be utilized in formulating the individualized training prescription and management of chronic diseases.

Objective: To explore the mechanism of Piezo1 protein in mediating the osteogenic differentiation of human periodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSCs) via the Notch signaling pathway., Methods: In this study, young permanent teeth extracted from impacted teeth of 8-14-year-
old children from January 1, 2016 to January 1, 2018 in the Department of Orthodontic, Beijing Children's Hospital were selected as cell sources. hPDLSCs were extracted by enzymatic digestion. Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of keratin and vimentin, and flow cytometry was used to identify the markers (CD146 and STRO-1) of hPDLSCs. The construction and screening of Piezo1 siRNA gene interference vector and Piezo1 gene overexpression plasmid were completed. Flexcell 4000T mechanical distraction stress instrument was used to construct hPDLSC cell model in vitro. According to the preliminary results, the experiment was divided into five groups: siRNA interference group, overexpression group, blank control group, stretch stress group, and negative control group. Real time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was used to detect the expression of Piezo1, Notch1, alkaline phosphatase (ALP), Runt-related transcription factor 2 (Runx2), osteocalcin (OCN), and bone sialoprotein (BSP). Western blot was used to detect the expression of ALP and Runx2. Fluo-3 AM probe was used to detect intracellular calcium content., Results: Vimentin staining of hPDLSCs was positive, and keratin staining was negative. Flow cytometry was used to detect the expression of STRO-1 and CD146, markers of hPDLSC. Empty viral vectors, siRNA-Piezo1 interference sequence, and Piezo1 overexpression vector sequence could be transfected into hPDLSC by lentivirus, and the transfection efficiency was high (approximately 90%). The reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) results showed that there were significant differences in Piezo1 gene levels among the siRNA interference group, overexpression group, blank control group, stretch stress group, and negative control group (F=9.573, P<0.05). The level of Piezo1 in the overexpression group was significantly higher than that in the siRNA interference group (q=3.893, P<0.05). The level of Piezo1 in the stretch stress group was significantly higher than that in the blank control group (q=2.006, P<0.05). The expression of Notch1 and osteogenic genes ALP, Runx2, OCN, and BSP had the same trend. Western blot results showed that there were significant differences in the expression of ALP in the siRNA interference group, overexpression group, blank control group, stretch stress group, and negative control group (F=11.207, P<0.001). The expression level of ALP in the overexpression group was significantly higher than that in the siRNA interference group (q=2.991, P<0.05). The expression of ALP in the stretch stress group was significantly higher than that in the blank control group (q=3.007, P<0.05). The expression of Runx2 protein showed the same trend. The intracellular calcium fluorescence intensity of the overexpression group was significantly higher than that of the siRNA interference group, and the intracellular calcium fluorescence intensity of the stretch stress group was significantly higher than that of the siRNA interference group., Conclusions: Mechanical stretch stress can promote the expression of Piezo1 protein. Ca2+ is the second messenger, activates the Notch1 signaling pathway and the expression of ALP, Runx2, OCN, and BSP; and promotes the osteogenic differentiation of hPDLSC. The siRNA-Piezo1 interfering plasmid can block this process. On the contrary, the overexpression plasmid of Piezo1 can promote the osteogenic differentiation of PDLSCs.

Objective: To identify potential mutations of the CLS gene in a Chinese pedigree affected with Coffin-Lowry syndrome., Methods: Whole exome sequencing was applied to detect potential mutation in the proband, and the result was verified by Sanger sequencing., Results: The proband was found to carry a c.966&#95;967delAA (p.Arg323Thr fs*11) deletional mutation in the RPS6KA3 gene. The same mutation was also found in his mother., Conclusion: The c.966&#95;967delAA (p.Arg323Thr fs*11) deletional mutation of the RPS6KA3 gene probably underlies the disorder in this pedigree.

Objective: To study the chemical constituents of Goodyera schlechtendaliana., Methods: Compounds were isolated through various chromatographic techniques and identified by spectroscopic analysis and comparison with those in literature., Results: Seven compounds were obtained from 95% ethanol extract. Their structures were identified as syringaldehyde (I), 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (II) , alloimperatorin (III), vanillic acid (IV), ferulic acid (V), glyceroyl monopalmitate (VI) and β-sitosterol (VII)., Conclusion: Compounds II- VII are reported from this genus and compounds I - VII are reported from this plant for the first time.

The whole spectrum usually contains a lot of redundant information in the near-infrared spectroscopy model, the presence of redundant information will increase the model resolution time and increase the difficulty of parsing model, Therefore, how to select the characteristic wavelength quickly and effectly is very crucial. In this paper, we combined the algorithm based on SPA (successive projections algorithm ) with IPLS (interval partial least squares ) to selec the characteristic wavelength in the fermentation of wheat straw microbial biomass, A total of 85 samples prepared by measuring microbial biomass using glucosamine method, 68 samples are chosen as calibration set and 17 simples are chosen as verification set. First, the whole spectral region 520 points are segmented modeling according to the interval wavelength point size 10, 20, 30, 40 and 4 450~4 925 cm-1, 9 194~9 993 cm-1 two-band range are selected as the characteristic wavelength band, then pick out the new feature wavelength points by Successive Projections Algorithm band and Genetic Algorithm (GA), comprehensive analysis and comparison the result of model. The experimental results show that the using of IPLS-SPA algorithm to select the combination band 4 450~4 925 cm-1 & 9 194~9 993 cm-1 has the best modeling effect, compared with the modeling of whole spectrum, the wavelength points decrease from 520 to 10, the correction coefficient of determination R2 rised from 0. 884 9 to 0. 945 28, root mean square error (RMSE) dropped from 11. 104 9 to 8. 203 3, although the genetic algorithm model achieved the better accuracy, but the results are instable and have a strong randomness , while IPLS combined SPA method can select characteristic wavelength information stability and accurately, which can improve the model calculation speed and reduce the fitting difficulty of the model, it can be used as a new reference method for band selection. The results show that using near infrared spectroscopy method for straw biomass rapid detection is feasible.

Objective: To study the effect of Kirschner wire percutanous reduction and plaster external fixation for treatment of childern distal ulna-radius fractures., Methods: From July 2010 to March 2012,37 children with distal ulna-radius fracture were treated by Kirschner wire percutanous reduction and plaster external fixation including 24 males and 13 females with an average age of 9.5 years old ranging from 6 to 13 years old. The course was 4 h to 3 d. The cause of fracture was all fall from height without other associated injuries., Results: All patients were followed up from 1 to 6 months. The bone union times were from 21 to 42 d (means 31.5 d). All patients obtained bone union. No case has malunion. No case was received surgical operation. According to the Berton Scales,the result was excellent in 14 cases,good in 20 cases,fair in 3 cases., Conclusion: Using Kirschner wire percutaneous reduction and plaster external fixation can achieve an effective reduction and fixation, which make the patients to exercise the upper extremity function as early as possible.

Based on the fishery resources data from the bottom trawl surveys conducted on the R/V Beidou in the Yangtze River estuary and its adjacent waters in June, August and October of 2006, the index of relative importance (IRI) was measured to determine the dominant species of fish assemblage, and the niche indicators and their seasonal variations of the dominant species were analyzed. A total of 10 dominant species in the 3 survey cruises were recorded, which were divided into two groups by the Bray-curtis similarity clustering and non-metric multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis, with a significant seasonal variation of niche breadth and niche overlap. One group included Engraulis japonicus, Champsodon capensis, and Acropoma japonicum, whose niche breadth and niche overlap were larger in summer than in autumn, with a migration from the Yangtze River estuary and its adjacent waters to outer deeper waters, while the other group included Trichiurus haumela, Chaeturichthys stigmatias, Apogon lineatus, Larimichthys polyactis, Psenopsis anomala, Argyrosomus argentatus, and Benthosema pterotum, whose niche breadth and niche overlap were larger in autumn than in summer, with a reverse migration from southern Yellow Sea and northern East China Sea to the Yangtze River estuary and its adjacent waters. The different migration direction of the two groups was related to their ecological habits and environmental factors.

Both reverse transcriptase (RT) and integrase (IN) play crucial roles in the life cycle of HIV-1, which are also key targets in the area of anti-HIV drug research. Reverse transcriptase inhibitors are involved in the most employed drugs used to treat AIDS patients and HIV-infected people, while one of the integrase inhibitors has already been approved by US FDA to appear on the market. Great achievement has been made in the research on both, separately. Recently, much more attention of medicinal chemistry researchers has been attracted to the strategies of multi-target drugs. Compounds with excellent potency against both HIV RT and IN, evidently defined as dual inhibitors targeting both enzymes, have been obtained through considerable significant exploration, which can be classified into two categories according to different strategies. Combinatorial chemistry approach together with high throughput screening methods and multi-target-based virtual screening strategy have been useful tools for identifying selective anti-HIV compounds for long times; Rational drug design based on pharmacophore combination has also led to remarkable results. In this paper, latest progress of both categories in the discovery and structural modification will be covered, with a view to contribute to the career of anti-HIV research.

A kind of SERS-active substrates was prepared using chemical self-assembly method, aiming at spot fast analysis using portable Raman spectrometer. PDDA was first absorbed on the inner wall of vials, and then Ag colloids were assembled on the inner wall. UV-Vis spectra and Raman spectra of two kinds of blank vials were investigated and the transparent vials were thought to be better for SERS-vials. UV-Vis spectra were used to monitor the assembly process of Ag colloids. SERS activity of our substrates was characterized using p-ATP as probing molecules.

Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of different regional lymph node staging system and to establish a predictive prognostic model for stage III( colon cancer., Methods: A total of 256 Patients with stage III( colon cancer from January 1999 to December 2008 were identified from the China Medical University Cancer and underwent radical surgery. Based on information on regional lymph nodes, lymph nodes were staged LNR staging using pN stage in the 7th edition of the AJCC, the jN stage of the JGR, and LNR-stage on the basis of Log-rank statistics, respectively. Using the linear trend chi-square test, likelihood ratio Chi-square test, concordant index(c-index) to evaluate the homogeneity, monotonicity, and discrimination power of the staging system. Univariate and multivariate analyses were used to determine the clinical and pathological prognostic impact factors. After relevant diagnostic models were established, the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) value was calculated to compare and identify the best diagnostic model., Results: Log-rank statistics found that 0.11 and 0.39 were the optimal cut-off point. LNR staging system included LNR1 (LNR<0.11), LNR2 (0.11,0.39), and LNR3(0.39,1). The concordance indices were 0.624 for pN, 0.611 for jN, and 0.700 for LNR. The heterogeneity was the lowest for LNR. Cox regression model was used to establish prognostic models for pN, jN, and LNR, and the AIC was 99.937, 71.631, and 65.548, respectively. The prognostic value was the highest for LNR., Conclusion: LNR staging is the ideal staging system for stage III( colon cancer patients, which is better than the latest version of the current AJCC pN stage and JGR jN staging.

Objective: To study the gene expression of transforming growth factor beta receptor II (TbetaR II) in pathological scar., Methods: Twenty samples of pathological scar were collected from 20 burn or trauma patients hospitalized in the General Hospital of Ji'nan Military Command from 2007 to 2009. Twenty specimens of epidermal layer were obtained from the middle portion and the edge of pathological scars. Twenty normal skin specimens which were located more than 10 cm away from the lesion sites of 20 patients were collected as self-controls. Serum from 1-2 mL whole blood were obtained from each of the 20 patients for second self-control. Eight normal skin specimens from 8 patients without pathological scar, discarded from un-related operations, were also collected as negative-control. Positive expressions of TbetaR II in three different skin specimens were determined with biotin-streptavidin-peroxidase staining. Gene expressions of TbetaR II in all specimens were compared with PCR-single strand conformation polymorphism analysis and gene sequencing. Data were processed with Fisher's exact test., Results: Positive expression of TbetaR II in pathological scar epidermis was lower than that in normal skin specimen of patients with pathological scar or normal skin specimen of patients without pathological scar, and TbetaR II was mainly located in the basal layer of epidermis. Positive expressions of TbetaR II were seldom found in acanthocytes, granular cells, and cuticle or even non-existing. No abnormality of TbetaR II was found in normal skin epidermis or serum samples of pathological scar patients or normal skin epidermis of patients without pathological scar. TbetaR II expressing in 8 specimens of epidermis of pathological scar showed abnormal electrophoresis pattern at poly A fragments hand and loss of one A base in DNA fragment (P = 0.044)., Conclusions: There may he abnormal gene expression of TbetaR II in pathological scar epidermis. Replantation of epidermis of scar may increase the risk of scar recurrence, while replantation of normal skin of patients with scar on wound may not increase the risk of scar recurrence.

To understand the resistance risks of Frankliniella occidentalis Pergande against phoxim, this paper studied the resistance mechanisms of phoxim-resistant F. occidentalis population against phoxim and the cross-resistance of the population against other insecticides. The phoxim-resistant population had medium level cross-resistance to chlorpyrifos, lambda-cyhalothrin, and methomyl, low level cross-resistance to chlorfenapyr, imidacloprid, emamectin-benzoate, and spinosad, but no cross-resistance to acetamiprid and abamectin. The synergists piperonyl butoxide (PBO), s, s, s-tributyl phosphorotrithioate (DEF), and triphenyl phosphate (TPP) had significant synergism (P < 0.05) on the toxicity of phoxim to the resistant (XK), field (BJ), and susceptible (S) populations, while diethyl maleate (DEM) had no significant synergism to XK and S populations but had significant synergism to BJ population. As compared with S population, the XK and BJ populations had significantly increased activities of mixed-functional oxidases P450 (2.79-fold and 1.48-fold), b, (2.88-fold and 1.88-fold), O-demethylase (2.60-fold and 1.68-fold), and carboxylesterase (2.02-fold and 1.61-fold, respectively), and XK population had a significantly increased acetylcholine esterase activity (3.10-fold). Both XK and BJ population had an increased activity of glutathione S-transferases (1.11-fold and 1.20-fold, respectively), but the increment was not significant. The increased detoxification enzymes activities in F. occidentalis could play an important role in the resistance of the plant against phoxim.

Objective: To explore the feasibility and value of intra-operative contrast-enhanced ultrasound in different pathological grades of glioma., Methods: A total of 46 patients with glioma were selected to undergo the contrast-enhanced ultrasound. They were divided into 3 groups according to their pathological grades., Results: All 46 tumors were hyperechoic after examinations and the borders became much more distinct. Different level of tumors had their representative ultrasonic findings., Conclusions: Intraoperative contrast-enhanced ultrasound is quite useful for determining the position and border of tumors. And it is also excellent in detecting the residual tumor tissues post-operatively. And it can improve the resection accuracy and operative precision, especially for Grade IV glioma with internal necrosis, cyst and surrounding brain edema.

Objective: To study the expressions of DSCR1 gene in laryngopharynx cancer and peri-cancerous tissues, to understand the relationship between its expression and tumor clinical features, to discussed the influence of DSCR1 gene on the biological behaviours of laryngopharynx squamous cell carcinoma., Method: Immunohistochemical p-V9000 method,used rabbit DSCR1 antibody DCT3, detected the expressions of DSCR1 gene protein in laryngopharynx cancer and peri-cancerous tissues, between them and clinical data were statistically analyzed., Result: Positive rates of DSCR1 gene expression in the tumor tissues was 94.9%, normal tissues was 35.9%, there was a statistically significant (t = 23.69, P < 0.01); There was significant difference of DSCR1 gene expressions in different pathological degree and TNM staging (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in different age, gender, site, growth mode, lymph node metastasis and smoking history., Conclusion: DSCR1 gene has an important role in the occurrence and development process of laryngopharynx squamous cell carcinoma, and can influence the biological behavior of tumors.

Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of bone marrow transplantation (BMT) on ovarian injury induced by chemotherapy in mice., Methods: Forty-eight mice were randomized equally into normal control group (A), cyclophosphamide and BMT group (B), and cyclophosphamide group (C). The mice in groups B and C were treated with intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide at the daily dose of 150 mg/kg for 3 consecutive days, and allogeneic bone marrow cell transplantation was performed in group B. The ovary coefficient and the amount of follicles were compared to evaluate the function of ovaries. For cell tracking, the bone marrow cells were labeled with Hoechst 33342 and detected through fluorescence microscope after transplantation., Results: On days 21 and 50 after cyclophosphamide treatment, the ovary coefficient and the amount of follicles were significantly lowered in groups B and C (P<0.05), but the reduction was obviously ameliorated in group B (P<0.05). Cell tracking showed the presence of the donor bone marrow cells in the ovaries of the recipients mice after BMT., Conclusion: BMT can improve the ovarian function impaired by chemotherapy in mice.

A simple, rapid and sensitive colorimetric loop mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) method was established to detect HPV6 and HPV 16 respectively. The method employed a set of four specially designed primers that recognized six distinct sequences of HPV6-E6 or HPV16-E7 for amplification of nucleic acid under isothermal conditions at 63 degrees C for one hour. The amplification process of LAMP was monitored by the addition of HNB (hydroxy naphthol blue) dye prior to amplification. A positive reaction was indicated by a color change from violet to sky blue and confirmed by real-time turbidimeter and agarose electrophoresis. Thirteen cervical swab samples having single infection with 13 different HPV genotypes were examined to evaluate the specificity. A serial dilution of a cloned plasmid containing HPV-E6 or HPV-E7 gene was examined to evaluate the sensitivity. The results showed that no cross-reaction with other HPV genotypes was observed. The colorimetric LAMP assay could achieve a sensitivity of 1000 copies, 10-20 times lower than that of real-time PCR. The assay was further evaluated with 62 clinical specimens and consistent results were obtained compared with the detection using Kai Pu HPV Genotyping Kit. We concluded that this colorimetric LAMP assay had potential usefulness for the rapid screening of the HPV6 or HPV16 infection in the laboratories and hospitals of provincial and municipal region in China.

A comparison test on the number of puncture coring is conducted using the normal needle and the Huber needle in the injection area of the implantable drug-supplying device separately. The result indicates that the number of coring using the Huber needle is much less than that using the normal needle during the puncturing. So it is suggested to popularize the Huber needle in the drug transfusion of the implantable drug-supplying device.

The application of AlCl3, Al2 (SO4)3 and poly-aluminum chloride (PAC) in humic acid-kaolin simulated water was studied in this article. It is intended to discuss the relationship among coagulation effect of Al-based coagulants in humic acid-kaolin simulated water and content and speciation of residual aluminum. It was found that, the turbidity removal efficiency and UV254 removal efficiency could reach about 90% at the tested dosage. At higher dosage, PAC gave better coagulation effect. The residual total aluminum content and residual aluminum ratio of PAC, which was 0.9 mg/L and - 3.0% or so respectively, were greatly lower than those of AlCl3 and Al2 (SO4)3. The residual total dissolved aluminum was the predominant content in the effluent after coagulation and sedimentation by the three Al-based coagulants. For the total dissolved aluminum, the proportion of dissolved organic aluminum was significantly higher than that of other aluminum speciation. With respect to humic acid-kaolin simulated water, the content of residual total aluminum in the effluent after coagulation and sedimentation by PAC decreased obviously compared to AlCl3 and Al2 (SO4)3. PAC could effectively decrease the content of residual dissolved aluminum speciation which has higher toxicity. The content of residual total dissolved aluminum in the effluent after coagulation and sedimentation by PAC was about 0.6 mg/L.

Objective: To evaluate the protective effect of gulonic acid lactone in the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry system for detecting phorate, diazinon, dimethoate, methyl parathion, malathion five kinds of organic phosphorus pesticide., Methods: By comparing the peak area changes of organic phosphorus pesticide configured with different concentrations (0, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 mg/ml) of the gulonic acid lactone-methanol solution, and the concentrations (500 ng/ml) of organic phosphorus pesticide are same, to determine the best dosage of gulonic acid lactone. In the concentration, evaluate the protective effect of gulonic acid lactone on five kinds of organic phosphorus pesticide testing., Results: When the concentration of gulonic acid lactone-methanol solution <1 mg/ml, the selected ion peak area of the five kinds organophosphorus pesticides detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in the same conditions increases with the upward trend of its concentration ; when the concentration is equal to 1 mg/ml, the peak area reached the highest level, and then with the concentrations increased, no significant change in it. Diazinon's sensitivity increased by 4 times, phorate's sensitivity increased by 5 times, dimethoate, methyl parathion and malathion's sensitivity increased by 10 times, and the peak shape improved distinctly, tailing phenomenon disappears., Conclusion: Gulonic acid lactone can effectively improve the five kinds of organic phosphorus pesticide's sensitivity, improving the peak-type tailing and asymmetric phenomenon by the result of the active site. Quantitative bias can be effectively corrected caused by matrix effects. When the concentration is 1 mg/ml, it has the best effect of the compensation effect.

Objective: To investigate the profile of serum cortisol levels in patients with severe hepatitis., Methods: Fifty patients with viral hepatitis (including 30 severe hepatitis patients and 20 chronic hepatitis B patients) were enrolled in this present study. Serum cortisol concentration was tested using radioimmunoassay. Furthermore, liver function, coagulation and other related laboratory indices were also determined., Results: Serum cortisol concentration of severe hepatitis group was lower than that of chronic hepatitis B group (P < 0.05) and lower than that of healthy controls (P < 0.05) serum cortisol concentration of severe hepatitis patients was significantly positively correlated with PTA (r = 0.445, P < 0.05); serum cortisol concentration has no relation with ALT in patients with severe hepatitis (P > 0.05), and serum cortisol concentration was significantly negatively correlated with the ratio of AST/ALT in patients with severe hepatitis (r = -0.367, P < 0.05). No significant relationship was found between serum cortisol concentration and total Bilirubin (P > 0.05). Serum cortisol concentration in death group of severe hepatitis was lower than that in survival group of severe hepatitis (P < 0.05). Of severe hepatitis patients with MELD score, the higher MELD score, the lower the cortisol concentration., Conclusion: Cortisol concentration decreased in patients with severe hepatitis, which was related to functional liver reserve and disease severity. Cortisol can be related to the prognosis of severe hepatitis patients.

Laser Raman spectroscopy was employed to characterize the microstructure variations of polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fibers during electrochemical treatment, and the characteristics of first-order Raman spectra of carbon fibers with different treatment time were investigated in the present paper. The results indicate that the Raman spectra of the carbon fibers can be fitted into four bands, named as D (or D1) band, G band, D2 band and D3 band, respectively. The Raman parameters to characterize surface microstructure variations of carbon fibers mainly include R(I(D2)) / I(G), area ratio of D band and G band), I(D2) / I(G) (area ratio of D2 band and G band), I(D3) / I(G) (area ratio of D3 band and G band), and I(D(S))/ I(G) (area ratio of all the disordered structure and G band). The peak separation between D band and G band becomes large after electrochemical treatment. R increases, which indicates that the surface disordered degree of carbon fibers increases. I(D3) / I(G) increases, which is caused by organic molecules, fragments or functional groups; decreases which is caused by the break of the aliphatic structures. With increasing treatment time, I(D(S)) / I(G) increases continuously, and the change trend of l(D(S)) / I(G) is consistent with that of R value, which can be used to comprehensively explain the variation of the surface structure of carbon fibers. So, the variety rules of the structure of carbon fibers can be investigated by laser Raman spectroscopy during electrochemical treatment.

Background and Objective: The protein encoded by adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) gene participates in the signaling transduction pathway. Substantial studies have revealed that hypermethylation of APC gene promoter is closely related to the pathogenesis and development of cancer. This study was to develop a real-time quantitative methylation specific PCR (real-time QMSP) method, and detect the methylation of APC gene promoter in plasma of lung cancer patients., Methods: Genomic DNA with methylated APC gene promoter was extracted from the lung cancer cell line NCI-H460 using phenol-chloroform and quantified by spectrophotometric measurements. DNA was added into 200 microL plasma samples of healthy volunteers to make 10-fold serial dilutions. Circulating DNA from simulated plasma samples, 78 lung cancer patients, 31 patients with benign lung diseases and 23 health controls was extracted using magnetic beads and modified by bisulfite. The concentration of cell-free methylated APC gene promoter in the plasma samples was quantified by the external reference method with the standard curve constructed using simulated plasma., Results: The linear range of the real-time QMSP assay was 1.5x10(2)-1.5x10(5) copies/ mL and its lowest detectability was 1.5x10(2) copies per milliliter plasma. Of 78 lung cancer patients, positive methylation of the APC gene promoter was detected in tumor tissues of 40 cases. Among the 40 lung cancer patients, positive methylation of the APC gene promoter was found in the plasma of 19 patients (47.5%). The concentrations of methylated APC promoter in the 19 lung cancer patients ranged from 1.67x10(2) to 6.78x10(3) copies/mL, with a median concentration of 1.67x10(3) copies/mL. No positive methylation of the APC gene promoter was detected in the plasma of 38 lung cancer patients without APC gene methylation in tissues, 31 benign lung diseases and 23 healthy controls., Conclusions: The newly developed real-time QMSP method allows the quantitative measurement of APC gene promoter methylation in plasma. Hypermethylation of the APC gene promoter in plasma is a potential diagnostic marker for lung cancer diagnosis.
