Objective: To explore the correlation between serum TPSA expression and prognosis of microwave therapy in patients with prostatitis. Methods: From February 2018 to August 2019, 78 cases of patients with prostatitis who were treated in Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (our hospital )were selected as the research subjects and were divided into microwave group and control group with 39 cases in each groups. The control group was given tamsulosin hydrochloride, the microwave group was given microwave treatment on the basis of the control group. Two groups were treated and observed for 4 weeks. The changes in serum total prostate specific antigen (TPSA) expression were recorded and correlated analysis were performed. Results: All patients were completed the treatment and there were no adverse reactions occurred during the treatment. The total effective rates in the microwave group was 97.4 %, which was significantly higher than the control group of 84.6 % (P<0.05). After treatment, the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) of the two groups were lower than before treatment, and the microwave group were lower than that of the control group, and compared the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05). The serum TPSA value in the two groups after treatment were lower than in the microwave group before treatment, and the comparison were statistically significant (P<0. 05). In the 78 patients, linear correlation analysis showed that the prognosis effectiveness of patients were significantly related to microwave treatment, IPSS score, TPSA value, clinical stage, and disease duration (P<0.05). Conclusion: Microwave treatment of prostatitis can promote the relief of clinical symptoms, improve the treatment effect, and inhibit the expression of serum TPSA. Objective To analyze the correlation between 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure and lower urinary tract symptoms in elderly patients with hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Methods Seventy-eight aged (多80 years old) patients with hypertension and BPH were tested for 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure with a noninvasive portable ambulatory blood pressure instrument. The prostate volume was calculated by prostatic ultrasound and International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS，further subdivided into urine storage period symptom score and voiding period symptom score) . Pearson bivariate correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between 24-hour ambulatory blood pres­sure and IPSS score，urine storage period symptom score and voiding period symptom score. Results The 24h-mean sys­tolic blood pressure (24 h-sBP) , 24h-mean diastolic blood pressure (24 h-dBP)， daytime mean systolic blood pressure (d-sBP)，daytime mean diastolic blood pressure ( d-dBP)，night mean systolic blood pressure ( n-sBP)，and night mean diastolic blood pressure (n-dBP) in 79 patients were(134.6 ±13.4)，(71.7±6.8)，(135. 0 ±13.9)，(72.4 ±8.0)， (131.8 ±15.3)，and (68. 3 ± 8. 7) mmHg. The IPSS of 79 patients was ( 15. 9 ± 8. 9)，and the urine storage period symptom score and voiding period symptom score were 11. 3 ± 7. 7 and 7. 6 ± 5. 8， respectively. In the elderly hypertensive patients with BPH，the urine storage period symptom score was positively correlated with 24h-sBP and n-sBP ( r =0. 352， 0. 396; both P <0. 05 )，and the prostate volume was positively correlated with n-sBP ( r =0. 276，P <0. 05 ). The urine storage period symptom score and the number of nocturia were higher in patients with poor blood pressure control ( 24 h-sBP 多 130 mmHg) were greater than those with good blood pressure control (24 h-sBP <130 mmHg) (P <0. 05) . Conclusion The 24h-sBP and n-sBP in elderly hypertensive patients with BPH is related to the urine storage period symptom， and controlling blood pressure can improve the symptoms of urinary storage period in elderly patients with hypertension and BPH. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Huang'e Capsules in the treatment of BPH of the qi-deficiency blood-stasis and damp-heat stagnation type under conditions of extensive use., Methods: Totally, 605 male patients with BPH of the qi-deficiency blood-stasis and damp-heat stagnation type received oral Huang'e Capsules, tid, 4 capsules per time, for 42 days. We recorded the IPSS, maximum urinary flow rate (Qmax), mean urinary flow rate (Qave), quality of life (QOL) score, and prostate volume of the patients before and after medication., Results: A total of 503 patients completed the whole trial. Compared with the baseline, the patients showed significant decreases after treatment in the IPSS (20.1 ± 5.5 vs 12.6 ± 5.0, P < 0.05), QOL score (4.19 ± 0.90 vs 2.50 ± 0.89, P < 0.05) and prostate volume (［36.6 ± 15.8］ vs ［34.0 ± 17.6］ ml, P < 0.05), but remarkable increases in Qmax (［12.2 ± 5.8］ vs ［14.2 ± 6.5］ ml/s, P < 0.05) and Qave (［5.91 ± 3.12］ vs ［6.95 ± 3.45］ ml/s, P < 0.05)., Conclusions: Huang'e Capsules had a good therapeutic effect on BPH of the qi-deficiency blood-stasis and damp-heat stagnation type.
