Objective To evaluate the efficacy of double U-stitch and modified “double U-stitch pancreaticojejunostomy” in pancreaticoduodenectomy. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical information of 150 patients who underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy between January 2022 and September 2023 in Wang Wei’s team in department of pancreatic surgery, Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. The patients were divided into two groups according to the pancreaticojejunostomy method: the double U-stitch 1.0 group (70 cases before modification) and the double U-stitch 2.0 group (80 cases after modification). The postoperative complications of the two groups were compared. Results The overall postoperative complications were significantly lower in the double U-stitch 2.0 group as compared with the double U-stitch 1.0 group (13.8% vs. 38.6%, P=0.001). The incidence of clinically relevant pancreatic fistula was 18.6% in the double U-stitch 1.0 group, while this was significantly decreased in the double U-stitch 2.0 group (6.3%) (P=0.021). Postoperative extraluminal hemorrhage occurred in 5 patients in the double U-stitch 1.0 group, while in the double U-stitch 2.0 group, only one patient experienced postoperative intraluminal hemorrhage, the difference was statistically significant between two groups (P=0.007). The median postoperative length of hospital stay was significantly shorter in the double U-stitch 2.0 group than that in the double U-stitch 1.0 group (11 d vs. 14 d, P=0.001). Conclusions The modified “double U-stitch pancreaticojejunostomy” can significantly reduce the incidence of clinically relevant pancreatic fistula and other relevant severe complications, which helps improve the safety of the procedure.

Few-shot object detection aims to train target detection model through a small amount of sample learning.At present,most of the existing few-shot object detection methods are based on classical target detection algorithms.In the two-stage detection method,due to the small number of new class samples,many irrelevant border boxes are generated,resulting in low accuracy of candidate regions.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a few-shot object detection algorithm FF-FSOD based on feature fusion.It uses the feature fusion method to enhance the data,supplements the new category samples,increases the coverage range of the sample,and introduces the FPN network to extract multi-scale feature.Then,the RPN network is improved,and the support set image branch is introduced.The depth correlation between the support set image feature and the query set image feature is calculated,and the attention feature map is obtained,and the more accurate candidate box is obtained.The effectiveness of the proposed model is verified on MS COCO and FSOD datasets.Experimental results show that the proposed method obtains more accurate candidate boxes and improves the detection accuracy.

Scene image is usually composed of background information and foreground objects.Convolutional neural network (CNN) used for scene recognition task usually needs to recognize the category of scene according to the characteristics of key objects in the scene, or even combined with the position relationship between objects.Aiming at the problem that the key target features of small size in the scene image gradually disappear with the deepening of the network level, which leads to scene recognition errors, a scene recognition method based on multi-level feature fusion and attention module is proposed.Firstly, the feature extraction part of the deep neural network ResNet-18 is divided into five branches, and then the multi-level features of the output of the five branches are fused, and the fused features are used for scene recognition and classification to make up for the lost target information.Secondly, an improved attention module is added to the network to achieve the purpose of focusing on learning the key targets in the scene image, so as to improve the recognition effect further.Experimental results on several scene datasets show that the recognition accuracy of the proposed method on MIT-67, SUN-397 and UIUC-Sports scene datasets reaches 88.2%, 79.9% and 97.7% respectively, which is higher than the current mainstream scene recognition methods.

Consistency-based semi-supervised learning methods typically use simple data augmentation methods to achieve consistent predictions for both original inputs and perturbed inputs.The effectiveness of this approach is difficult to be guaranteed when the proportion of labeled data is relatively low.Extending some advanced data augmentation method in supervised learning to be used in a semi-supervised learning setting is one of the ideas to solve this problem.Based on the consistency-based semi-supervised learning method MixMatch,a semi-supervised learning method AutoMixMatch based on automated mixed sample data augmentation techniques is proposed,which uses a modified automatic data augmentation technique in the data augmentation phase,and a mixed-sample algorithm is proposed to enhance the utilization of unlabeled samples in the sample mixing phase.The performance of the proposed method is evaluated through image classification experiments.In image classification benchmark datasets,the proposed method outperforms several mainstream semi-supervised classification methods in three labeled sample proportions,which validates the effectiveness of the method.In addition,the proposed method performs better with a very low proportion of labeled data to the training data (only 0.05%),and the classification error rate of the proposed method on the SVHN dataset is 30.17% lower than that of MixMatch.

The purpose of material recognition is to identify the main objects and their material categories in natural material images.Aiming at the problem of low recognition accuracy caused by the lack of data in material image data sets and the difficulty of manually labeling local texture regions,a material recognition method based on attention mechanism and deep convolutional neural network is proposed.The core of the method is material recognition deep convolutional neural network (MaterialNet).MaterialNet uses the deep residual network to extract the features of the image,and introduces the attention mechanism by the proposed cascaded atrous spatial pyramid pooling method,so that the network can adaptively focus on the key areas containing texture features through end-to-end training,so as to effectively identify the local texture features of materials.Based on the FMD material datasets,the experimental results show that the overall identification accuracy of MaterialNet is 82.3%,which is 7.2% and 4.5% higher than the current mainstream B-CNN and CNN+FV material identification methods,respectively.The recognition accuracy of MaterialNet is high for a variety of materials,and it has the advantages of less parameters and less calculation.

In order to solve the problems of high cost of obtaining the top plan view of the main outline of the building in the 3D modeling scenario,low segmentation accuracy of the aerial photography building,interference on the roof of the building,etc.,a method of accurately segmenting the aerial photography building based on deep residual network is proposed,in which the positions of five points are expressed as heat maps as additional input channels of the network,and good segmentation effect is achieved in the task of accurately segmenting the aerial photography building.Experimental results show that the proposedmethod has higher segmentation accuracy and segmentation efficiency than the traditional semi-automatic segmentation method Grabcut.It has better robustness and anti-interference than DEXTR method.This method can provide high-precision top-view contour map and top-view picture of buildings for 3D reconstruction of buildings,and can also be used in the production process of aerial photography building data sets as an accurate and effective mask annotation tool or semi-automatic contour annotation tool to improve the annotation efficiency of datasets.

Objective To evaluate the effects of DNA examination of trace bloodstain samples from the scene collected with Trace Biological Evidence Collection kit. Methods Venous blood was made into bloodstains on the ground. The trace bloodstain samples were collected with Trace Biological Evidence Collection kit and common methods, respectively. DNA examination of trace bloodstain samples（50 from each group） was conducted on the constant temperature shaker for 2, 24, 48, 72, and 96 h, respectively, and the examination results of every group were compared. Results When the trace bloodstain samples were placed on the constant temperature shaker for 24, 48, 72, and 96 h, the DNA detection rates in the group which used Trace Biological Evidence Collection kit （100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%, 96.00%） were significantly higher than those in the group using common methods （62.00%, 26.00%, 10.00%, 0）, the differences had statistical significance（P0.05）. Conclusion The Trace Biological Evidence Collection kit can effectively improve DNA detection rate and extend detection time limit for trace bloodstain samples from the scene that have been stored for a relatively long time.

Objective To explore the effect of benzidine test and related reagents on DNA analysis of bloodstain. Methods A total of 970 bloodstain filter paper samples with 1 μL venous blood were collected, and 10 of them acted as control samples. After benzidine test and related reagent processing, DNA of 960 samples was extracted by Chelex-100 and silica bead methods and then multiplex amplified by AmpF?詛STRTM IdentifilerTM Plus PCR kits. The results of STR typing were compared between different groups. Results DNA were extracted immediately after benzidine test. Totally STR loci （3.80±1.34） were detected by silica bead method, while no STR loci were obtained by Chelex-100 method. Thirteen samples （21.7%） with whole STR typing results were obtained by drying after benzidine test, and the STR locus number （12.90±1.49） which obtained by silica bead method was much higher than by Chelex-100 method （4.70±1.96） （P

In order to explore the application of knowledge engineering in the innovation and development of Mongolian furniture, took the Mongolian furniture decoration knowledge as the object, classified the decoration knowledge according to the data obtained from literature collation and field survey, sorted and screened more than 200 relevant words collected, made a questionnaire survey and combine the scores of the focus group, analyzed and determined 15 groups of semantic words and 16 knowledge samples. Based on the semantic difference method and Likert 7-scale, the perceptual image test was carried out, and the cluster analysis and factor analysis were carried out using SPSS software to obtain the corresponding relationship between the test sample and the public factor. The knowledge reuse design practice and scheme evaluation analysis were carried out with the screen as an example, providing new ideas and methods for the design research of Mongolian furniture products. Statolith is one of the most important hard tissues of cephalopods which is widely used in the research of fisheries ecology including population structure, life history reconstruction and so on. Trace elements of 18 statoliths of neon flying squid Ommastrephes bartramii collected in the Northwest Pacific Ocean in 2007 by Chinese jigging fishing fleets were analyzed by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). The results indicated that the statoliths of O. bartramii mainly contained 55 elements, and calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), sodium (Na), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), silicon(Si), magnesium (Mg), boron (B), iron (Fe), barium (Ba) were the 10 most abundant elements. The analysis of variance showed that here was no significant difference in each element distribution between different sexual squid except for P, Si and B. Significant differences existed in the contents of Sr and Na but no significant difference was found in the contents of Ca, P, K, Si, Mg, B, Fe and Ba between different hatching populations. There were significant differences in the contents of Ca, Sr, Na, P, Mg and Ba, but no significant difference was found in the contents of K, Fe, B and Si in the statoliths among different growth zones. Bayesian Schaefer model was applied to assess the stock of Illex argentinus in the Southwest Atlantic Ocean, with the risk of alternative management strategies for the squid analyzed. Under the scenarios of normal and uniform prior assumptions, the estimated model parameters and reference points were similar, and higher than the values under the scenario of logarithmic normal prior assumption. Under the three proposed scenarios, the fishing mortalities and the total catches in 2001-2010 were lower than the reference point F0.1 and the maximum sustainable yield (MSY), indicating that the I. argentinus was in an expected sustainable exploited level but not in over-fishing and over-fished. The results of decision analysis indicated that at the same harvest rate, the stock of the I. argentinus under the scenario of logarithmic normal prior assumption in 2025 would be the lowest, and the probability of collapse would be the highest. Under the three scenarios, the harvest rate in 2025 would be all 0.6 if the catch was the maximum. However, if the harvest rate was set to 0.6, the stock of the I. argentinus after 2025 would have definite risk, and thus, the harvest rate 0.4 and the catch 550000 t appeared to be the best management regulation or the baseline case. As a basic part of the health monitoring system of five-hundred-meter aperture spherical telescope (FAST), the data acquisition system was researched in the paper. The sensors used for FAST were chosen considering the antologous characters of the sensors, and a hardware system was designed based on the chosen sensors. A software system for FAST was developed using the Labview software, so a data acquisition system based on virtual instrument technology was established. Successfully application of the data acquisition system during the experiment on the FAST 30 m-model, which is an important step of FAST, affirms its support for the health monitoring system of FAST. To investigate the differences on morphological growth patterns of statolith of Todarodes pacificus in the East China Sea during La Niña and normal years, we analyzed the samples of T. pacificus collected in the East China Sea by Chinese light purse seine fishery fleets from February to April in 2020 (a normal year) and 2021 (a La Niña year). The results showed that total statolith length (TSL), lateral dome length (LDL), wing length (WL), and maximum width (MW) could be used as characterization parameters to representing the morphological growth of statolith. The characterization parameters of statolith in T. pacificus differed significantly between different climate years and between different genders. The values of those characterization parameters of statolith were greater in normal year than those in La Niña year, which in both years were larger in females, except for TSL in males in La Niña year. The statolith growth of males were faster than that of females in different climate years. TSL, LDL, and WL increased faster in normal year, while MW increased faster in La Niña year. The relative size of statolith gradually slowed down with the growth of individuals.

Objective To understand the differences in the demand,preference,and tendency for elderly care services between urban and rural areas in the Pearl River Delta (PRD),and to provide reference for the planning and balanced allocation of elderly care resources in urban and rural areas. Methods Using the multi-stage stratified random sampling method,we selected 7 community health service centers in 2 prefecture-level cities in the PRD and conducted a questionnaire survey on the elderly care service demand,preference,and tendency among 1919 regular residents aged 60 years and above who attended the centers. Results A total of 641 urban elderly residents (33.4%) and 1278 rural elderly residents (66.6%) were surveyed in the PRD.The urban and rural elderly residents showed differences in the child number ( χ 2 =43.379, P <0.001),willingness to purchase socialized elderly care services ( χ 2 =104.141, P <0.001),and attitudes to the concept of raising child to avoid elderly hardship ( χ 2 =65.632, P <0.001).The proportion (71.8%) of rural elderly residents who prefer family-based elderly care was higher than that (57.1%) of urban elderly residents ( χ 2 =41.373, P <0.001).The proportion (62.2%) of urban elderly residents clearly expressing their willingness to choose institutions for elderly care was higher than that (44.0%) of rural elderly residents ( χ 2 =57.007, P <0.001).Compared with family-based elderly care,the willingness to choose institutional or community-based in-house elderly care was low among the urban elderly residents with surplus monthly household income or balanced income and expenditure;urban males,those with college education background or above,and those who purchased socialized elderly care services tended to prefer community-based in-house elderly care.In rural areas,the elderly residents who had local household registry were prone to choose institutional or community-based in-house elderly care,while those who had more than one child and those who were satisfied with the current living conditions were less willing to choose community-based in-house elderly care. Conclusions It is suggested that the urban-rural differences in the elderly care service demand,preference and tendency should be fully considered in the planning and allocation of urban and rural elderly care resources.Efforts remain to be made to develop diversified social elderly care services tailored to the characteristics of urban and rural areas.

We investigated the effects and mechanisms of nitrogen additions (0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 24, 32 g N·m -2 ·a -1 ) on contents of anion and cation in rhizosphere soil, bulk soil, and mixed rhizosphere and bulk soil in the heavily salinized grassland in the agro-pastoral ecotone of North China. The results showed that pH of rhizosphere, mixed and bulk soils decreased significantly with the increases of nitrogen addition levels. Moreover, pH of three soil types under the 32 g N·m -2 ·a -1 treatment decreased by 1.2, 0.9, and 0.6, respectively, while pH of rhizosphere soil decreased by 0.44 compared with the bulk soil. Na + content of rhizosphere, mixed and bulk soils significantly decreased, while the NO 3 - content significantly increased. The proportion of Na + content in total soluble salt content in rhizosphere soil decreased by 14% and that in bulk soil decreased by 12% after the 32 g N·m -2 ·a -1 addition. NO 3 - content increased by 29% in rhizosphere soil and by 26% in bulk soil. There was significant negative correlation between pH and NO 3 - content, and significant positive correlation between pH and Na + content. The total soluble salt content of rhizosphere soil under the 32 g N·m -2 ·a -1 treatment was significantly reduced by 31.5%. Collectedly, nitrogen deposition could reduce soil pH and total soluble salt content of rhizosphere soil and alleviate saline-alkali stress.

Understanding the effects of upslope runoff and soil pipe collapse on slope water erosion can provide scien-tific basis for preventing Mollisol degradation caused by soil erosion. We conducted an experiment to investigate the effects of upslope inflow rate and soil pipe collapse on slope water erosion and to quantify the contribution of soil pipe erosion to slope soil erosion. The experiment included three inflow rates (30, 40, and 50 L·min -1 ) and three near-surface soil hydrological conditions (without soil pipe: NP; with soil pipe but no pipe flow: PF 0 ; with pipe flow: PF 1 ). The results showed that: 1) Slope soil erosion increased with increasing inflow rates; when the inflow rate increased from 30 L·min -1 to 40 and 50 L·min -1 , slope soil erosion increased by 100.0%-111.5% and 214.8%-289.2%, respectively. 2) The soil pipe occurrence and pipe flow formation aggravated the slope water erosion process. At inflow rates of 30, 40, and 50 L·min -1 , slope soil loss under the PF 0 and PF 1 treatments were 1.4-1.6 times and 1.7-2.1 times of that under the NP treatment. The contribution of soil pipe erosion to slope soil loss was 26.7%-37.6% under the PF 0 treatment and 40.5%-51.9% under the PF 1 treatment. 3) Soil pipe collapse intensified the rill erosion process. Compared with the NP treatment at 30, 40, and 50 L·min -1 inflow rate, rill erosion amounts under the PF 0 and PF 1 treatments increased by 38.1%-66.0% and by 93.7%-128.4%, respectively. Our results suggested that increasing upslope inflow rate resulted in higher surface runoff velocity, which promoted runoff detachment and transport capacity, and then aggrandized the amount of slope soil erosion. Moreover, soil pipe collapse exacerbated rill erosion process. When the soil pipe collapsed, all surface runoff was converted to soil pipe flow, which accelerated flow velocity and slope soil erosion process, and then increased the amount of slope soil erosion.

Objective: To retrospectively study medium term follow up outcomes effects of effect of bio-lengthend stem hemiarthroplasty in the treatment of unstable osteoporotic intertrochanteric fractures in elderly patients., Methods: Total of 32 elderly patients with the osteoporotic intertrochanteric fractures were treated with bio-lengthend stem hemiarthroplasty from Jan. 2016 to Jan. 2019 including 14 males and 22 females, aged from 85 to 95 years old with an average of (89.5±4.5) years old. According to classification of Evans, there were 12 cases with type Ⅲ, 11 with type Ⅳ and 9 with type Ⅳ. The time from injury to operation ranged from 0.5 to 9 days with an average of (4.5±3.9) days. The operation time, blood loss and postoperative complications were analyzed. Functional outcome was assessed by Parker Palmer mobility score(PPMS) and Harris hip score., Results: Four patients died within one year after operation, and the mortality was 12.5%. The follow up time for the rest 28 patients ranged from 24 to 60 months with an average of (28.5±4.5) months. The mean operative time was (54.2±22.5) min;the mean blood loss (hidden blood loss+obvious blood loss) was (450±140) ml;the first weight bearing was (3.35±1.35) days. No perioperative death occurred. PPMS were(6.63±1.25), (6.94±1.18), (7.11±0.83), (7.32±1.11) and Harris scores were(67.85±6.19), (71.42±5.57), (73.41±5.62), (77.32±5.24) respectively at 1, 3, 6 months and the final follow-up after operation. There were no significant difference in PPMS and Harris score at 1, 3, 6 months after operation and the final follow-up( P >0.05). There were no complications such as joint dislocation and prosthesis loosening occure at the final follow-up., Conclusion: On the premise of strictly mastering the case selection criteria, the bio-lengthend stem hemiarthroplasty in the treatment of unstable osteoporotic intertrochanteric fractures in elderly patients has a satisfied medium term follow-up outcomes. It can restore hip function in the early stage and improve the quality of life of patients.

Statolith is one of the most important hard tissues to study the age, growth, population structure and life history of cephalopods. In order to stuty statolith microstructure and growth characteristics of Sthenoeuthis oualaniensis in the northwest Indian Ocean, 1009 samples were collected by Chinese light falling-net fishery fleets during investigation and production in the northwest Indian Ocean from February to May of 2019. Total statolith length (TSL), lateral dome length (LDL), wing length (WL) and maximum width (MW) were taken as the indicators of morphological feature of the statolith, combined with the age data, the statolith microstructure and growth characteristics of S. oualaniensis were studied. The results showed that the statolith microstructure could be divided into postnuclear zone, dark zone and peripheral zone according to the width of growth increment. The analysis of covariance showed that there was no growth difference of TSL, LDL, WL and MW between different sexes. The relationships between TSL, WL, MW and age were best described by the power functions, while the relationship between LDL and age was best described by the linear function. In general, with the increase of age, the instantaneous relative growth rate and absolute growth rate of TSL, WL, LDL and MW decreased, and 140-180 d may be the age of sexual maturity for this squid.

Purpose: To analyze the biomechanical properties of the right mandibular second premolar with deep wedge-shaped defects under static and dynamic loads by finite element method, so as to select appropriate repair method in clinic., Methods: To establish the deep wedge-shaped defect model of the right mandibular second premolar, the unrepaired model after root canal treatment was used as the control group, and resin filling (group A), resin filling after post restoration (group B), crown restoration after resin filling (group C), post and crown restoration after resin filling (group D) were used as the experimental groups. According to different materials, group B and group D were further divided into fiber post (B1, D1) group and pure Ti post (B2, D2) group. Static and dynamic loading were applied by three dimensional finite element analysis software, and the stress and strain were analyzed before and after restoration., Results: Compared with the control group, the stress values under static loading was much lower than that under dynamic loading. Von Mises and the maximum principal stress in each experimental group decreased significantly under static and dynamic loading. In the post group, the stress distribution of fiber post was more uniform than that of pure Ti post., Conclusions: Dynamic load has great influence on the stress distribution. Full crown restoration is beneficial to the stress distribution of the teeth with deep wedge-shaped defects. If a post is necessary, fiber post should be selected.

Snowmelt erosion is an important way of soil loss in Chinese Mollisol region. However, little is known about the effects of seepage flow and soil thaw depth on hillslope snowmelt runoff erosion. An indoor simulated experiment was conducted to analyze the impacts of seepage flow and soil thaw depth on hillslope snowmelt erosion. There were two snowmelt flow rates (1 and 4 L·min -1 ), two soil thaw depths (5 and 10 cm), and two near-surface hydrological conditions (with and without seepage flow). The results showed that hillslope runoff depth and soil erosion amount in the treatment with seepage flow were 1.1 to 1.2 times and 1.3 to 1.9 times of those in the treatment without seepage flow, respectively. Under two snowmelt flow rates, when soil thaw depth increased from 5 cm to 10 cm, hillslope runoff depth and soil erosion amount increased by 10.0% to 13.5% and 15.4% to 37.1% in the treatment without seepage flow, respectively. In the treatment with seepage flow, when soil thaw depth shifted from 5 cm to 10 cm, hillslope runoff depth increased by 6.5% to 8.5%, and soil erosion amount remained stable. Moreover, hillslope rill development was comprehensively influenced by seepage flow, soil thaw depth, and snowmelt flow rate, with rill erosion amount occupying more than 72% of hillslope snowmelt erosion amount. Compared with the treatment without seepage flow, flow velocity and shear stress under the treatment with seepage flow increased by 20.3% to 23.2% and 37.0% to 51.3%, respectively; but Darcy-Weisbach friction coefficient reduced by 9.0% to 21.4%, which caused an increase of hillslope snowmelt erosion. In addition, seepage flow enhanced rill development, which caused rill erosion amount to increase by 43.6% to 69.9% compared with the treatment without seepage flow, and it further resulted in the increase of hillslope snowmelt erosion amount. The main reason for soil thaw depth enhancing hillslope snowmelt erosion amount under the treatment without seepage flow was that both sloping runoff erosivity and erodible materials increased with increasing soil thaw depth. Furthermore, soil thaw depth had a significant impact on hillslope rill morphology development under the treatment with seepage flow. Rill widening process was dominated when soil thaw depth was 5 cm, whereas rill incision process was dominant when soil thaw depth was 10 cm. This study could improve the understanding of hillslope snowmelt erosion mechanism in Chinese Mollisol region and provide theoretical guidance for the development of water erosion model.

Objective: To study the distributional characteristics of allergens in children with allergic diseases in Shaanxi province., Methods: A total of 4 622 children diagnosed with allergic diseases in the Asthma Center, Department of Pediatrics, Xijing Hospital from March 2015 to February 2019 were selected. Serum allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (sIgE) of 19 common kinds of allergens were examined with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The children were divided into different groups according to sex, age and geographical regions, and the distributional characteristics of allergens of the different groups were compared., Results: The overall positive rate for the 19 allergens of the 4 622 children was 62.8%. The ranking of the positive rates for individual allergens from high to low were as follows: 24.2% for milk, 18.0% for mold mix, 16.7% for dog dander, 16.4% for house dust mite, 11.7% for cat dander, 10.7% for cashew, 10.6% for weed pollen, 8.8% for egg white, 7.8% for house dust, 7.7% for tree pollen, 5.6% for amaranth, 4.9% for mulberry tree, 3.6% for mango, 3.2% for beef, 2.8% for cockroach, 2.1% for crab, 1.5% for shrimp, 0.8% for pineapple, and 0.3% for shellfish. Analysis based on sex showed that the allergen positive rates in boys were higher than those in girls. Analysis by age difference showed that generally the positive rates for inhaled allergens increased along with the increase in patient age, while the positive rates for ingested allergens decreased along with the increase in patient age. Analysis by geographical regions showed that the positive rate of house dust mite in the patients from the southern part of Shaanxi, the positive rate of weed pollen in the patients from the northern part of Shaanxi and the positive rates of milk and egg white in the patients from the central part of Shaanxi were higher than those in other areas. The cluster analysis and correlation analysis showed that the 19 allergens could be roughly divided into 4 categories. There were moderate correlations among tree pollen, mulberry tree and amaranth. There were moderate correlations among mulberry tree, mango and amaranth. There was moderate correlation between shrimp and crab, and there were mild or weak correlations among most of the other allergens., Conclusion: Among the 4 622 children with allergic diseases in Shaanxi Province who were treated in the Asthma Center, Department of Pediatrics, Xijing Hospital, male patients showed higher sensitivity to allergens. The positive rates of inhaled allergens increased, while the positive rates of ingested allergens decreased with increase in patient age. There were regional differences in the distribution of allergens. With 1009 Sthenoteuthis oualaniensis samples collected by Chinese light falling-net fishery during February to May in the northwest Indian Ocean, we analyzed the influencing factors of the morphology change of the beak. There were significant differences in the morphologic growth between genders, different gonad maturity stages, and different mantle length. The increment of characteristic parameters growth peaked in the mantle length between 201 and 250 mm, and in the Ⅱ and Ⅲ stages of gonad maturity for females and males, respectively. There was no significant difference in the ratio of morphometric parameters to crest length (CL) between the genders, diffe-rent gonad maturity stages, and different mantle length, except for the ratio of upper hood length to upper crest length (UWL/UCL) and lower hood length to lower crest length (LHL/LCL). The ratio of each characteristic parameter to CL was nearly stable with the change of sex, gonad maturity and mantle length, suggesting consistent growth of each dome of beak. Our results suggested the mantle length of 201 mm to 250 mm seemed to be the threshold for the morphologic growth of beak on the body size, while the gonad maturity of Ⅱ and Ⅲ stages seemed to be the threshold for the morphologic growth of beak on the gonad maturity.

Objective: To analyze the hematological characteristics of Hb Broomhill and Hb Hornchurch, and prenatal diagnosis should be carried out in two families., Methods: RBC parameters and hemoglobin electrophoretogram were analyzed on the peripheral blood of all patients, and amniotic fluid was collected for prenatal diagnosis. PCR-Flow fluorescent hybridization and Sanger sequencing were performed for gene diagnosis of thalassemia., Results: Three cases of Hb Broomhill were detected, including 2 cases with common SEA α-thalassemia, which was characterized by hypochromic microcytic mild anemia, the capillary electrophoregram revealed a tiny shoulder peak before the Hb A peak; 1 case was diagnosed as Hb Hornchurch combined with β-thalassemia, which also showed mild anemia. Hemoglobin electrophoretogram showed an abnormal hemoglobin variant peak at Hb A 2 zone., Conclusion: The carriers of Hb Broomhill and Hb Hornchurch do not have microcytic hypochromic anemia, which do not aggravate the hematological symptoms, such as anemia when being combined with thalassemia of the same type.

Beak is one of the most important hard tissues of cephalopods, and thus is widely used in the study of cephalopod fisheries ecology and fishery resource assessment. With 1009 Sthenoteuthis oualaniensis samples collected by Chinese light falling-net fishery during February to May in the northwest Indian Ocean, we examined the morphologic and growth characteristics of beak. Results of the principal component analysis showed that the upper hood length (UHL), the upper crest length (UCL), the upper lateral wall length (ULWL), the lower crest length (LCL), the lower wing length (LWL) and the lower lateral wall length (LLWL) could be used as the morphological cha-racteristic parameters to examine the morphological changes of the beak. Results of the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) showed that there were significant differences in the relationships between all of the morphological characteristic parameters and mantel length (ML) for males and females except UCL. There were significant differences in the relationships between all of the morphological characteristic parameters and body weight (BW) for males and females. The relationships between LCL, UCL and ML were optimally described by the linear functions. Power functions were best for UHL, LWL and linear functions were best for ULWL, LLWL for females. The relationships between ULWL and ML were optimally described by power functions, while the logarithm functions were best for UHL, LLWL and LWL for males. The relationships between all of the morphological characteristic parameters and BW were optimally described by the power functions for females, while the logarithm functions for males except the power function for ULWL. Our results provided scientific basis for the research of the fisheries ecology and stock assessment for S. oualaniensis .

Beak is one of the most hard tissues in cephalopods, which is important in the study of fishery ecology. We analyzed the morphological growth characteristics of 268 beaks of Gonatopsis borealis collected in the Northwest Pacific Ocean from September to November of 2018 by Chinese jigging fishing fleets. Results from the principal component analysis showed that the upper hood length (UHL), upper crest length (UCL), upper rostrum length (URL), lower hood length (LHL), lower crest length (LCL) and lower rostrum length (LRL) could be used as the morphological characteristic parameters to study the morphological growth of beak. Results from the analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) showed that there was no significant difference both in the relationships between the morphological characteristic parameters versus mantle length (ML) or body weight (BW) for males and females. The relationships between ML and UHL, LHL were best described by power functions but by logarithm function for UCL, URL, LCL, and linear function for LRL respectively. The relationships between BW and UHL, UCL, URL, LCL, LRL were best described by logarithm functions but power function for LHL based on the result of the Akaike's information criterion. The results of growth models for the morphological parameters in this study provided scientific basis for the stock assessment in further research.

Objective: To perform genetic analysis, prenatal diagnosis and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) in a family with a rare deletional β- thalassemia., Methods: Hematological parameters of the peripheral blood collected from all the family members were analyzed by whole blood cell analysis and capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE). Polymerase chain reaction-reverse dot blot (PCR-RDB) was used to identify 17 common β- thalassemia gene mutations, the multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification (MLPA) and gap-polymerase chain reaction (gap-PCR) were used to identify β- globin gene cluster deletions. Chorionic villus sample or umbilical cord blood was obtained for prenatal diagnosis. Oligo-cells from blastocyst biopsy were collected for preimplantation genetic diagnosis by whole genome amplification and next generation sequencing., Results: The proband was a carrier of Taiwanese deletion β- thalassemia, two fetuses were both thalassemia majors. The PGD results showed that 6 of 11 tested embryos could be choose for transplantation., Conclusion: The Taiwanese deletion is a rare type deletion of β- globin gene cluster, and it can lead to thalassemia intermedia or thalassemia major when compounded with other β- globin gene mutation. PGD is another choice for thalassemia couples.

Ethnomedicine is the precious wealth left by ethnic minorities in their struggle against diseases. It is similar to traditional Chinese medicine in a narrow sense and has the characteristics of multi-component,multi-target and multi-channel synergy. Under the guidance of the theory of ethnomedicine,the combination of ethnomedicine and network pharmacology will help to understand the essence of the prevention and treatment of ethnomedicines in a dynamic and holistic manner. This paper reviews the research progress of network pharmacology applied in ethnomedicine,analyses the problems and challenges existing in the application of network pharmacology in ethnomedicine research at present,such as inaccurate data and information,lack of network analysis platform for effective analysis of dose-effect relationship of chemical constituents and weak basic research of ethnomedicine,and puts forward corresponding prospects.

Objective: To explore how dexamethasone (Dex) directly restores kidney podocyte function in adriamycin (ADR)-induced nephrotic model and the effects of Dex on the motility of podocytes, to analyze whether nephrin is a key signal molecule in the process., Methods: The cultured podocytes were divided into three growps: ADR treated group, ADR+Dex group, blank control group. The analyses of podocytes function were performed using scrape-wound, Transwell migration assays and FITC-BSA. Quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot were used to test the expression of nephrin. Male SD rats were used to generate ADR-induced nephrology model, and randomly divided into three groups: ADR group, ADR+Dex group and normal group. At 7 d, 14 d, 21 d and 28 d after ADR injection, 24 h urine protein was measured as well. Podocyte foot process effacement was observed under transmission electron microscopy., Results: Podocytes' motility, permeability of a monolayer of podocytes incubated with FITC-BSA, the expression of nephrin were higher in ADR group than those in blank control group ( P <0.05); on the contrary, the indexes above in Dex+ADR group were decreased when compared with ADR group ( P <0.05). 24 h urine protein increased significantly at day 14 (vs. normal group P <0.001) and peaked at day 28 in ADR rats (vs. normal group P <0.001), whereas decreased at day 14, 21 and 28 in Dex+ADR group (vs. ADR group, P <0.001). The FWP of ADR-treated rats was greater than normal group and Dex+ADR group ( P <0.01)., Conclusion: Dex impacts the expression of nephrin, relieves the enhanced motility induced by ADR and decreases urine protein level., (Copyright© by Editorial Board of Journal of Sichuan University (Medical Science Edition).)

Sthenoteuthis oualaniensis is the most important cephalopods fishery resource of the South China Sea, which supported the falling-net fishery of Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan Provinces of China. Understanding the fisheries biology is essential for sustainable exploitation and management of this squid. Statolith is one of the most important hard tissues of cephalopods which were widely used in the research of fisheries biology and ecology. Elements of 20 statoliths of S. oualaniensis collected in the Xisha islands waters of South China Sea during May to August by the falling-net fishery of 2017 were analyzed with Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) for different sexes, different hatching groups, and history stages. The results showed that the statolith of the S. oualaniensis contained 55 elements, with calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), sodium (Na), phosphorus (P), silicon (Si),magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), iron (Fe), barium (Ba) and boron (B) being the top ten abundant elements. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that there was no significant difference in all element distributions between sexes for the most abundant ten elements. Significant differences existed in the contents of Si, Sr, Mg, Na and K but no significant difference was found in the contents of Ca, P, B, Fe and B between different hatching groups. There were significant differences in the contents of Sr, Na, P, K, Si, Mg, B and Ba, but no significant difference in the contents of Ca and Fe in the statoliths among different growth zones. Our results suggested that Sr, Na, K and Mg were probably the best four elements for life history reconstruction and examining population structure of the S. oualaniensis.

Grazing is one of the most important ways for managing grassland in northern China. Different studies have focused on the effects of grazing on the structure and function of ecosystems. Grazing affects the structure and function of soil via biological and physical processes, such as animal trampling, feeding, and excretion, which further affects N 2 O emissions. However, there is less research on greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions by grazing intensities in semi-arid grassland ecosystems in northern China. In this study, four different grazing intensities were considered in the semi-arid grassland ecosystem of the typical agro-pastoral ecotone in northern China (Youyu, Shanxi). The influence of different grazing intensities on GHG fluxes was studied by measuring GHGs fluxes in the growing season with an opaque static chamber. The results showed that ① Grazing had no effect on CO 2 and N 2 O fluxes during the first year of grazing treatment. ② However, grazing decreased soil water content ( P <0.05), moderate grazing intensity decreased microbial biomass carbon ( P <0.05), and moderate and heavy grazing intensities reduced microbial biomass nitrogen ( P <0.05). ③ Significant positive correlations between CO 2 flux and soil temperature and soil moisture were observed. The correlation between temperature and CO 2 emissions was increased by grazing. ④ There was a significant positive correlation between soil temperature, soluble nitrogen, soil microbial biomass nitrogen, CO 2 flux, and N 2 O flux. Our results indicated that GHG, regulated by soil microorganisms, was affected by soil temperature and moisture.

n recent years, photoselective vaporization of the prostate (PVP) has gained a wide clinical application in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) for its satisfactory effect, high safety, and low incidence of complications. With the improvement of living conditions, BPH patients are paying more attention to their sexual function, especially erectile function and ejaculatory problems instead of just focusing on the alleviation of lower urinary tract symptoms. Few studies of PVP, however, relate to its association with the sexual function of the patient and there is a certain controversy over the influence of PVP on it in the existing literature. Prevailing views hold that the uprated power in PVP does not affect erectile function or increase the risk of retrograde ejaculation (REj) and that PVP is even better than transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) in avoiding the risk of REj.

Purpose: To analyze the value of micro-implant and traditional anchorage in the treatment of malocclusion., Methods: From Jan 2015 to Jan 2016, 20 cases with malocclusion were randomly divided into control group(10) and experimental group (10). A comparison was conducted between the control group, in which traditional anchorage was used and the experimental group, in which micro-implant anchorage was adopted. The data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 software package., Results: There was significant difference of U1-NA, L1-NB, U1-APg, U6-PtPNS between the 2 groups(P<0.05). Adverse reaction was not found in the control group, but 8% in the experimental group(P<0.05)., Conclusions: Micro-implant anchorage can improve overjet relation of the anterior teeth and effect of orthodontic treatment.

Lichens are one of the best materials for air quality biomonitoring, and they have been widely used in atmospheric element deposition monitoring in many regions. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) are two efficient techniques widely used in quantifying and quantifying plant elements. However, elemental levels in lichens from some regions in China are much higher than in other plants, and their variation is highly dependent on space, time, species and elements. Although atmospheric pollution monitoring is urgently needed in China in recent decades, little studies have been performed on biomonitoring in the country. Therefore, the methodological studies on the determination of lichen elements in China are needed to accelerate future biomonitoring studies with lichens. Two techniques such as ICP-MS and ICP-AES were used to determine elements in four reference materials, as GBW10014 (cabbage), GBW10015 (spinach), GBW10052 (green tea) and IAEA-336 (lichen), with an attempt to reveal the effects of different digestions, sampling size, spectral lines, isotopes and internal standard elements on measured results. ICP-AES after dry ashing-alkali fusion digestion and ICP-MS after microwave digestion were optimized for lichen element determination. In the optimized techniques, good linear relationship (r>0.999 0), low detection limit, high analytic accuracy and precision were obtained. The optimized techniques were applied to lichen samples collected from Taihang Mountains of China and Ardley Island of Antarctica. The results show that all lichen samples from Taihang Mountains were much higher in elemental concentration with the contribution of atmospheric deposition higher than those from Antarctica. These results suggest the applicability of the techniques in determining lichen elements, and provide evidences and technique supports for air pollution biomonitoring in China.

In order to explore the removal methods, transformation, environmental fate, effect and potential risk of dyes in environmental water, monoazo dye acid yellow 17 (AY17) was selected as model compound to investigate the degradation possibility in different advance oxidation processes (AOPs), and the degradation efficiencies followed the order of UV/H 2 O 2 2 S 2 O 8 ≈UV/FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O 5 2 . Subsequently, the different parameters such as catalyst amounts, reaction temperature, substrate concentration and initial pH values affected the degradation rate significantly in the system of UV/TiO 2 . The results indicated that the degradation of AY17 followed the pseudo-first-order kinetics, and the rate constant was 0.0112 min -1 . Additionally, the highest degradation rate constant was obtained when the catalyst dosage was 3 g·L -1 , higher reaction temperature was more beneficial to the degradation of AY17, and the degradation rate constants decreased with increasing substrate concentration and initial pH values. Lastly, the degradation intermediates were also identified by GC/MS, and the degradation pathways were also proposed at the initial stage of photocatalytic process, including the breakage of azo bonds, groups substitution of·OH on aromatic ring and cleavage of pyrazol ring.

Fluoroquinolone antibiotics (FQs), as the common pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), are widespread in the environment. FQs contained in wastewater would be ultimately enriched in sludge, posing a potential threat to the consequent sludge utilization. To optimize the analytical method applicable to the determination of FQs in sludge, the authors selected ofloxacin (OFL), norfioxacin (NOR), ciprofloxacin (CIP) and lomefloxacin (LOM) as the target FQs, and established a method which was based on cell lysis, FQs extraction with triethylamine/methanol/water solution, Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) and HPLC-Fluorescence Detection (FLD) determination. After the investigation, phosphoric acid-triethylamine was decided to be the buffer salt, and methanol was chosen as the organic mobile phase. The gradient fluorescence scanning strategy was proved to be necessary for the optimal detection as well. Furthermore, by the designed orthogonal experiments, the effects of the extraction materials, pH, and the eluents on the efficiency of SPE extraction were evaluated, by which the optimal extraction conditions were determined. As a result, FQs in liquid samples could be analyzed by utilizing HLB extraction cartridge, and the recovery rates of the four FQs were in the range of 82%-103%. As for solid samples, the recovery rates of the four FQs contained reached up to 71%-101%. Finally, the adsorptivity of the sludge from the different tanks ( anaerobic, anoxic and oxic tanks) was investigated, showing gradual decrease in the adsorption capacity, but all adsorbed over 90% of the EQs. This conclusion also confirmed that 50% removal of FQs in the domestic wastewater treatment plant was realized by sludge adsorption.
