BackgroundThe course of schizophrenia is prolonged， and patients have impaired social function and significantly reduced quality of life. Drug therapy combined with psychological therapy is particularly important for improving the quality of life of patients. Brief cognitive behavioral therapy （BCBT） has been widely applied in clinical practice， but current research on BCBT focuses more on improving patients' symptoms and lacks relevant reports on improving quality of life.ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and influencing factors of BCBT combined with conventional treatment on improving the quality of life in patients with schizophrenia.MethodsA total of 210 patients who met the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in the International Classification of Diseases （10th edition） （ICD-10） and were followed up at the outpatient department of Beijing Anding Hospital Capital Medical University from August 2011 to December 2016 were selected. Using a random number table method， patients were divided into study group and control group， with 105 cases in each group. Both groups received routine treatment， and the research group received a total of 8 BCBT sessions for 12 weeks on this basis. At the baseline period and 12 weeks of treatment， 26 weeks of follow-up and 52 weeks of follow-up， Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale （PANSS）， Personal and Social Performance Scale （PSP） and World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief （WHOQOL-BREF） were used for evaluation.ResultsThe results of repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the time point effect and interaction effect of PANSS total score were statistically significant （F=118.783， 8.083， P

AIM: To investigate the effects and mechanism of Xin-Tong-Tai granule on oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL), intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) in mice with atherosclerosis (AS). METHODS: A total of 72 SPF-grade healthy male ApoEmice aged 6-8 weeks were fed with high-fat diet for 12 weeks to replicate AS models, and 12 SPF-grade healthy male C57BL/6J wild mice were fed with ordinary diet as the control group. After the corresponding drugs were administered for 8 weeks, the body weight and general condition of mice in each group were observed. The serum levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were detected by biochemical kits. The pathological structures of aorta were observed by HE and oil red O staining. The levels of serum ox-LDL and aortic ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 were detected by ELISA. The protein levels of NADPH oxidase 4 (NOX4), NOX subunit p22phox, inhibitor of kB kinase-a (IKK-a), IKK-p and nuclear factor-KB (NF-kB) in aorta were detected by Western blot. RESULTS: Compared with control group, the mice in model group showed increased body weight (P<0. 05), dull and local shedding hair, slow grasping response, increased serum TC, TG and LDL-C levels, decreased serum HDL-C level (P< 0.05), increased the levels of serum ox-LDL and aortic ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 (P<0. 05), and increased protein expressions of NOX4, p22phox, IKK-a, IKK-p and NF-kB in aorta (P<0. 05). Compared with model group, the body weight of mice in each treatment group decreased (P<0. 05), the hair loss and the response flexibility were also improved. The serum levels of TC, TG and LDL-C decreased and HDL-C increased (P<0. 05). The levels of serum ox-LDL and aortic ICAM-1 (except the low-dose Xin-Tong-Tai granule group) and VCAM-1 decreased (P<0. 05). The protein levels of NOX4, p22phox, IKK-a, IKK-p and NF-kB in aorta decreased (P<0. 05). HE and oil red O staining showed that typical AS plaques could be seen in blood vessels of the model group, and the red-stained areas were widely distributed. The above lesions were alleviated to different degrees in each treatment group compared with model group. CONCLUSION: Xin-Tong-Tai granule reduces the atherosclerotic plaque area of Apoh mice induced by high-fat diet, decreased serum TC, TG and LDL-C levels, increased HDL-C level, decreased the levels of serum ox-LDL and aorta ICAM-1 and VCAM- 1,and inhibited protein expression of NOX4, p22phox, IKK-a and IKK-p in the aorta, thereby attenuating AS. The variation trend of the restrained expansion rate of pre-stressed duct grouting material in water was studied under calcium sulphoaluminate hydrate-calcium hydroxide (C4A3S-CaO) dual-expansion system and magnesium oxide single-expansion system. The results show that the restrained expansion rate of grouting material gradually increases with the increase of expansive agent. Under the reasonable dosage, C4A3S-CaO dual-expansion system is more effective in improving early restrained expansion of duct grouting material. But magnesium oxide single-expansion system maintains better volume stability during later period. Two expansion agents have little effect on the early flexural and compressive strength. When the amount of expansive agent with two expansive sources was 8%, the compressive strength increased in a small range compared with blank group. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, the frost resistance of fully-replaced aeolian sand mortar was tested, and the quality loss and strength loss of the sample in the freeze-thaw cycle were used as evaluation indicators to explore the effect of different cement-sand ratio, water-cement ratio and fly ash content on frost resistance of aeolian sand mortar. The results show that the higher the cement-sand ratio and the lower the water-cement ratio, the better the frost resistance of the aeolian sand mortar. The higher the fly ash content, the greater the loss of mass during the freeze-thaw cycle of the low-strength aeolian sand mortar system, but the fly ash content can effectively reduce the loss of strength during freeze-thaw cycle in higher cement-sand ratio system. Through the linear fityting, the relationship between the strength loss of the aeolian sand mortar and the water-cement ratio and the fly ash content during the freeze-thaw cycle 150 to 300 times was obtained. Objective To detect serum levels of thyroid hormones in patients with thyroid nodules (TN), and investigate their relationship with the nature of TN. Methods A total of 245 patients with TN were recruited in the study. According to levels of thyroid antibodies and postoperative pathological results, all patients were divided into nodular goiter (NG) group, thyroid adenoma (TA) group and thyroid cancer (TC) group. TC group was further classified as the TC with increased level of thyroid antibodies (TC-AB+ group) and the TC with normal level of thyroid antibodies (TC-AB- group). The serum levels of free T3 (FT3), free T4 (FT4) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) were detected for all patients before operation, and differences of thyroid hormones were analyzed between different groups. Results The serum level of TSH was significantly higher in TC group than that of NG group and TA group (P < 0.05). The serum level of FT3 was significantly lower in TC-AB+ group than that of NG group and TC-AB- group. The serum level of FT4 was significantly lower in TC-AB+ group than that of NG group, and the serum TSH level was significantly higher than that of other groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion The increased serum levels of TSH were found in some patients with TC, which may partly attribute to their coexistence with autoimmune thyroiditis and subsequent hypothyroidism. Objective: To explore the effect of community depression rehabilitation skill on depressive symptoms and social function of patients with different diagnoses., Methods: A total of 74 patients(20 males, 54 females)with depression in Beijing primary care center were divided into rehabilitation group(49 cases, average 51.80 years) and control group(25 cases, average 54.42 years) from August to November 2019.A total of 70 patients in two groups completed the final follow-up study. Patients in the rehabilitation group received depression community rehabilitation skill training for 8 weeks, while patients in the control group received daily community services. The two groups were assessed by the scale at baseline and 8 weeks later. The scales are as follow: basic information form and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD-17) and social disability screening schedule(SDSS), nurses global assessment of suicide risk(NGASR), morisky medication aderence scale(MMAS-8). For counting data χ~2inspection; The t-test for measurement data., Results: Before the intervention, There was no significant difference in HAMD-17, NGASR, MMAS-8 and SDSS total score and each factor score of SDSS between the two groups(P&gt;0.05). Paired t-test showed that after intervention, HAMD-17 total score, NGASR total score, and SDSS factors of social withdrawal, social activities outside the family, activities within the family, family functions, self-care of personal life, relationship and interest to the outside world, sense of responsibility and planning(P&lt;0.05) in rehabilitation group were all significantly lower than before intervention., Conclusion: The rehabilitation skills of depression can improve the depressive symptoms and social function of different kinds of patients, and is suitable for promotion in the community.

Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristics, management and prognosis of laryngotracheal stenosis induced by relapsing polychondritis. Method: A retrospective analysis was performed of 11 patients with laryngotracheal stenosis induced by relapsing polychondritis. Stenosis was classified as Myer and Cotton grade Ⅱ in 4 patients, grade Ⅲ in 3 and grade Ⅳin 4. Result: Long-term T-tube implantation of thoracic tracheal stenosis was performed in 1 patient, and one patient who had underwent 2 dilations was decannulated, and the tube was successfully extubated in 9 cases who had underwent laryngotracheal reconstruction with sternohyoid myocutaneous flap or costal cartilage. Conclusion: Treatment of laryngotracheal stenosis induced by relapsing polychondritis is challenging. Objective: The aim of this study is to o explore the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of idiopathic subglottic stenosis （ISS） Method: The clinical data of 15 patients with idiopathic subglottic stenosis treated in our department were analyzed retrospectively. The degree of stenosis was classified by the Cotton Airway grading system of Myer, with 8 cases of gradeⅡ, 4 cases of grade Ⅲ and 3 cases of grade Ⅳ. Result: The time of follow-up of HTSS was 0.5-10 years. All 15 patients were successfully extubated without asphyxia, decannulation and wound nonunion. Conclusion: For patients with idiopathic subglottic stenosis in the non-progressive stage, active surgical treatment strategy should be adopted and treated individually. Objectives: To investigate the effet of nasal septum operation combined with nasal sinuses on postoperative nasal septum., Method: Sixty-five patients with deflection of nasal septum complicating chronic sinusitis were underwent nasal septum and nasal sinus operations under nasal endoscope. Postoperative nasal septum recover were observed and compared with patients underwent only simple nasal septum operation., Result: Patients underwent nasal septum operations combined with nasal sinus, postoperative symptoms were more serious at early than simple nasal septum operations. At 3 months after operation, satisfactory degree of the former group were higher than the latter, and the former group didn't have complications such as nasal septum infection., Conclusion: Nasal septum operations combined with nasal sinus have no harmful effect on the prognosis of nasal septum, so it was safe and reliable.
