To study the mechanical characteristics of soil-rock mixture with particle duality, based on the concept of resistance series-parallel in physical electricity, a theoretical model of binary medium for soil-rock mixture with series-parallel mixed forces considering the influence of particle breakage was derived by the theory of binary medium model in damage mechanics. The indoor triaxial compression test was carried out to verify the binary medium model. The results show that under the same strain condition, the stress calculated by the series forced model is the lower limit, and the maximum average relative error is 30.44%. The stress calculated by the series-parallel forced model is the upper limit, and the maximum average relative error is 40.61%. The stress calculated by the series-parallel mixed forced model is between these two values, and the maximum average relative error is only 9.95%. Considering the influence of particle breakage, the maximum average relative error of the stress calculated by the series-parallel hybrid forced model is 7.63%, thus conforming to the mechanical characteristics of soil-rock mixture.
