- Abstract
Fabricated precast concrete slabs were prepared from pretreated vanadium titanium slag and the effects of different curing systems on the compressive strength of the mortar test blockwere studied, and the hydration products and microstructure of vanadium titanium slag and steel slag based precast concrete slabs were described. The results showed that the curing temperature has remarkable effect on early compressive strength of themortar test block. The 28 d compressive strength of prepared vanadium titanium slag precast slab can reach 43.62 MPa at 50 °C maintenance for 1 day. XRD, IR and SEM analysis showed that vanadium titanium slag and steel slag promoted each other and coordinated hydration under the excitation of desulfurization gypsum. The hydration products were mainly needle and rod-shaped ettringite (AFt) and amorphous c-s-h gel. Ettringite is the main source of early strength of vanadium-titanium-steel slag based prefabricated slab. C-S-H gel and AFt interweave grow, compact microstructure is conducive to the improvement of compressive strength of vanadium-titanium slag precast concrete slab. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
