The exponential stability of complex-valued neural networks with time-varying delays and reaction-diffusion terms was studied. Firstly, the addressed systems were separated into their real parts with the complex-valued activation functions assumed to be divided into the real parts and imaginary parts. Secondly, some sufficient conditions for ensuring the exponential stability of the equilibrium states of the systems were established based on the vector Lyapunov function method and the M-matrix theory. The obtained criteria have no free variables and reduced conservatism compared with the existing results. A numerical example proves the correctness of the obtained results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Existence of asymptotically almost periodic solutions for a class of perturbed systems with piecewise constant argument is investigated. Differential equations with piece-wise constant argument are not only differential equations, they also have the nature of the difference equations, discrete and continuous unity. Using unique decomposition theorem of asymptotically almost periodic functions, XUE Han asymptotically almost periodic sequence solutions of related difference equations are discussed and the conditions of related equations with only bounded asymptotically almost periodic solution are obtained, then by using the exponential dichotomy and contraction mapping theory, the existence and uniqueness of asymptotically almost periodic solutions of the system is are discussed.
