Color staining is an ordinary phenomena in dyeing process of tartan coat production. In order to solve the problem, two improvements have been made. First, through dyeing experiments, the most suitable dyes for nylon and wool were selected, which were Argacid and Unisol series dyes. After dyeing tests and color fastness analysis, Argacid SNB series dyes and Unisol CQ and BL series dyes were selected. Second, the process of flock dyeing for nylon and wool was improved, such as the polyester dyeing temperature was adjusted, the holding time was extended, the pH value was controlled at 6, environmental auxiliaries was added, etc. The dyeing temperature of wool was adjusted and homogenized B was added, soaping was added in post-treatment. The problem of color staining on tartan coat was improved. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
