- Abstract
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) diseases are common clinical conditions. The number of patients with TMJ diseases is large, and the etiology, epidemiology, disease spectrum, and treatment of the disease remain controversial and unknown. To understand and master the current situation of the occurrence, development and prevention of TMJ diseases, as well as to identify the patterns in etiology, incidence, drug sensitivity, and prognosis is crucial for alleviating patients'suffering.This will facilitate in-depth medical research, effective disease prevention measures, and the formulation of corresponding health policies. Cohort construction and research has an irreplaceable role in precise disease prevention and significant improvement in diagnosis and treatment levels. Large-scale cohort studies are needed to explore the relationship between potential risk factors and outcomes of TMJ diseases, and to observe disease prognoses through long-term follw-ups. The consensus aims to establish a standard conceptual frame work for a cohort study on patients with TMJ disease while providing ideas for cohort data standards to this condition. TMJ disease cohort data consists of both common data standards applicable to all specific disease cohorts as well as disease-specific data standards. Common data were available for each specific disease cohort. By integrating different cohort research resources, standard problems or study variables can be unified. Long-term follow-up can be performed using consistent definitions and criteria across different projects for better core data collection. It is hoped that this consensus will be facilitate the development cohort studies of TMJ diseases.

- Abstract
Population based health data collection and analysis are important in epidemiological research. In recent years, with the rapid development of big data, Internet and cloud computing, artificial intelligence has gradually attracted attention of epidemiological researchers. More and more researchers are trying to use artificial intelligence algorithms for genome sequencing and medical image data mining, and for disease diagnosis, risk prediction and others. In recent years, machine learning, a branch of artificial intelligence, has been widely used in epidemiological research. This paper summarizes the key fields and progress in the application of machine learning in epidemiology, reviews the development history of machine learning, analyzes the classic cases and current challenges in its application in epidemiological research, and introduces the current application scenarios and future development trends of machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms for the better exploration of the epidemiological research value of massive medical health data in China.

4. [Spatiotemporal Characteristics and Influencing Factors of the Synergistic Effect of Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction in China].

- Abstract
Based on the use of the coupling coordination model to calculate the coupling coordination degree of carbon emission and pollutant control, the national, regional, and provincial spatiotemporal characteristics of the synergistic effect of pollution control and carbon emissions reduction in China were further analyzed, facilitating the crucial to identification of key areas. The fixed effects regression models and provincial panel data from 2006 to 2020 were used to explore factors contributing to better synergizing the reduction of pollution and carbon emissions in China. On this basis, the adjustment variable of R&D investment intensity was introduced, and the regulation effect model was constructed to further explore the influence mechanism of the synergistic effect of pollution reduction and carbon reduction. The results showed that: synergy exists between carbon emission reduction and the air pollution control system, the evolution of the synergistic effect of pollution reduction and carbon reduction in China presented an inverted "U"-shaped trend from 2006 to 2020, and there was spatial aggregation and a spatial spillover effect in pollution reduction and carbon reduction. The synergistic governance of carbon emission and pollutant control was still at a relatively low level. The carbon emission and air pollutant emission systems were still in an unstable and uncoordinated state. The results showed that: The degree of coordination of eastern China, central China, and western China decreased in turn. At the national level, energy consumption structure, per capita GDP, and the proportion of green investment were the main factors affecting the synergistic effect of pollution reduction and carbon. The heterogeneity of the influencing factors existed in the central, eastern, and western regions on industrial structure, energy consumption structure, energy utilization efficiency, per capita GDP, urbanization rate, the proportion of green investment, and transportation structure. The intensity of R&D played a significant moderating effect in the whole country, eastern, and central regions. However, no significant moderating effect was identified in the western region. In the eastern region, the urbanization rate, the proportion of green investment, and the transportation structure could not have a significant effect on the synergistic effect of pollution reduction and carbon reduction alone, and it must be coordinated with the intensity of R&D.

- Abstract
In 2019, the newly revised Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China was issued and implemented,clearly proposing that China should establish a pharmacovigilance system. As a new traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) dosage form created in China, TCM injections have been widely used in clinic, and its pharmacovigilance has attracted much attention. In response to this situation, the project team convened a group of clinical, pharmaceutical and evidence-based medicine experts from all over the country to form an expert group, which formulated the Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine injections in strict accordance with the requirements of the group standards of the Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine.From the perspective of clinical application and considering the key elements of pharmacovigilance for clinical application of TCM injections, the guidelines put forward suggestions on the decision making of pharmacovigilance for clinical application of TCM injections from four key links, namely the monitoring and reporting, signal recognition, risk assessment and risk control, according to China's pharmacovigilance regulations and learning from foreign pharmacovigilance guidelines.

Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the periodontal tissues triggered by bacterial biofilm, leading to manifestations such as gingival bleeding, tooth mobility, and eventual exfoliation. Neutrophils exhibit a dual role throughout the course of periodontitis, both in defense against pathogens and in potentially detrimental effects on periodontal tissues. This article elucidates the intricate mechanisms underlying the dual functions of neutrophils in periodontitis, including respiratory burst, neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) formation, degranulation, and phagocytosis. By providing a comprehensive understanding of neutrophils involvement in periodontitis, this study aims to empower clinicians with insights into the pathogenesis of periodontitis, thereby fostering novel strategies for its prevention and treatment.

7. [Quality control method for phenolic acid components in abandoned stems and leaves of Artemisia selengensis based on UPLC fingerprint combined with quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker (QAMS)].

- Abstract
This study established an ultra-performance liquid chromatography(UPLC) fingerprint of abandoned stems and leaves of Artemisia selengensis and quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker(QAMS) for five phenolic acid components. Waters Acquity UPLC BEH C_(18) chromatography column(2.1 mm×100 mm, 1.7 μm) was used. The gradient elution was carried out with the mobile phase composed of 0.1% phosphoric acid water and acetonitrile at a flow rate of 0.3 mL·min~(-1) and a column temperature at 30 ℃. The detection wavelength was 330 nm, and the injection volume was 2 μL. Similarity evaluation and cluster analysis were conducted on the fingerprint data, and 15 common components in 13 batches of abandoned stems and leaves of A. selengensis were identified. The relative correction factors of ferulic acid, isochlorogenic acid A, isochlorogenic acid B, and isochlorogenic acid C were calculated using chlorogenic acid as the internal reference. The QAMS for determining five components in the abandoned stems and leaves of A. selengensis was established. At the same time, the content of these five components was determined using the external standard method(ESM), and the results showed that there were no significant differences in their content determined by the QAMS and the ESM. The results indicated that the content of phenolic acid components in the abandoned stems and leaves of A. selengensis from different varieties and different origins had obvious differences. In addition, the content of phenolic acid components in the abandoned stems and leaves of lignified A. selengensis was significantly higher than that of non-lignified A. selengensis. In summary, QAMS established in this study can be quickly, accurately, and economically used to determine the content of five phenolic acid components in abandoned stems and leaves of A. selengensis, laying a foundation for the resource development and utilization of abandoned stems and leaves of A. selengensis.

9. [Clinical outcome of posterior lumbar interbody fusion combined with Ponte osteotomy for reconstruction of coronal sagittal plane balance in degenerative scoliosis].

- Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of posterior lumbar interbody fusion combined with Ponte osteotomy in the treatment of patients with degenerative scoliosis. Methods: The medical records and imaging data of degenerative scoliosis in department of orthopedics, Peking Union Medical College Hospital from 2013 to 2022 were retrospectively collected, and the shortest follow-up time was 1 year. A total of 38 patients were included, including 13 males and 25 females, aged 50-87(65.6±10.9) years old.The follow-up was12-119(43±20) months. Standing position full spine anteroposterior lateral X-ray examinations were performed on all patients preoperatively, postoperatively, and at latest follow-up. The length of hospital stay, complications, operation time, blood loss, instrumented segment, fusion segmen were recorded. The clinical scores and coronasagittal imaging indicators at three time points were compared. Results: The operation time was (274.5±70.5)min, and intraoperative blood loss was (619.2±93.5)ml. The coronal vertical axis was improved from (2.9±1.8)cm preoperatively to (1.2±1.0)cm postoperatively. The preoperative coronal Cobb angle was 16.6°±9.9° and the immediate postoperative correction was 6.4°±4.0°( t =-6.83, P <0.001). The difference was statistically significant ( t =-6.12, P <0.001). The coronal Cobb Angle at the last follow-up was 5.7°±3.7°, and there was no significant orthopaedic loss at the last follow-up ( t =-6.12, P <0.001).The sagittal vertical axis decreased from (5.6±3.9)cm preoperatively to (3.2±2.5) cm immediately after operation ( t =-6.83, P <0.001), and was well maintained at the last follow-up[(2.7±1.8) cm, t =-7.77, P <0.001]. Lumbar lordosis increased from 21.8°±10.2° preoperatively to 35.8°±8.3° postoperatively( t =12.01, P <0.001)and 40.1°±8.6° at last follow-up( t =-10.21, P <0.001). Oswestry disability score (ODI score), visual analogue score (VAS) low back pain score and VAS leg pain score were also lower after surgery than before surgery (all P <0.05). Conclusion: Posterior lumbar interbody fusion combined with Ponte osteotomy can significantly improve the coronal and sagittal plane deformity and postoperative functional score in adult patients with degenerative scoliosis.

- Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects and mechanisms of chidamide on the osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) from myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)., Methods: MSC were isolated and cultured from bone marrow of MDS patients and healthy donors. CCK-8 assay was used to detect the effects of chidamide on the proliferation of MSC. The effects of chidamide on the activity of histone deacetylase (HDAC) in MSC was measured by a fluorescence assay kit and Western blot. Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity was detected on day 3 and calcium nodule formation was observed by Alizarin Red staining on day 21 after osteogenic differentiation. The expression of early and late osteogenic genes was detected on day 7 and day 21, respectively. RT-PCR and Western blot were used to detect the effects of chidamide on mRNA and protein expression of RUNX2 which is the key transcription factor during osteogenesis., Results: As the concentration of chidamide increased, the proliferation of MSC was inhibited. However, at a low concentration (1 μmol/L), chidamide had no significant inhibitory effect on MSC proliferation but significantly inhibited HDAC activity. In MSC from both MDS patients and healthy donors, chidamide (1 μmol/L) significantly increased ALP activity, calcium nodule formation, thereby mRNA expression of osteogenic genes, and restored the reduced osteogenic differentiation ability of MDS-MSC compared to normal MSC. Mechanistic studies showed that the osteogenic-promoting effect of chidamide may be related to the upregulation of RUNX2 ., Conclusion: Chidamide can inhibit HDAC activity in MSC, upregulate the expression of the osteogenic transcription factor RUNX2 , and promote the osteogenic differentiation of MDS-MSC.

11. [Economic evaluation of Annao Pills combined with antihypertensive drugs in treatment of primary hypertension: a study based on decision tree model].

- Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the economics of Annao Pills combined with antihypertensive drugs in the treatment of primary hypertension in the Chinese medical setting. TreeAge pro 2018 was used for cost-effect analysis and sensitivity analysis of the two treatment regimens. The intervention time of the simulation model was 2 weeks. The cost parameters were derived from Yaozhi.com, and the effect parameters were based on Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trial(RCT) involving Annao Pills. The experimental group was treated with Annao Pills combined with anti-hypertensive drugs(nifedipine controlled-release tablets + losartan potassium tablets), and the control group was treated with anti-hypertensive drugs(nifedipine controlled-release tablets + losartan potassium tablets). The basic analysis showed that the incremental cost-effect ratio(ICER) of the two groups was 2 678.67 yuan, which was less than 7.26% of the per capita disposable income in 2022. That is, compared with anti-hypertensive drugs alone, Annao Pills combined with antihypertensive drugs cost 2 678.67 yuan more for each additional patient with primary hypertension. The results of sensitivity analysis verified the robustness of the basic analysis results. The probability sensitivity results showed that when the patient's personal willingness to pay the price was higher than 2 650 yuan, the probability of the regimen in the experimental group was higher, which was consistent with the results of the basic analysis. In conclusion, when the price was higher than 2 650 yuan, Annao Pills combined with anti-hypertensive drugs was more economical than anti-hypertensive drugs alone in terms of improving the response rate of the patients with primary hypertension.

- Abstract
Objective: To investigate the preliminary clinical effect of closed reduction and cannulated nail internal fixation for femoral neck fracture assisted by robot navigation and positioning system., Methods: From July 2019 to January 2020, 16 cases of femoral neck fracture (navigation group) were treated with closed reduction and internal fixation guided by robot system, including 7 males and 9 females, aged 25 to 72 years old with an average of (53.61±5.45) years old;Garden classification of fracture:3 cases of typeⅠ, 3 cases of typeⅡ, 8 cases of type Ⅲ, 2 cases of type Ⅳ. Non navigation group (control group):20 cases of femoral neck fracture were treated with closed reduction and hollow nail internal fixation, 8 males and 12 females, aged 46 to 70 years old with an average of (55.23±4.64) years old;Garden typeⅠin 2 cases, typeⅡin 4 cases, type Ⅲ in 11 cases, type Ⅳ in 3 cases. The operation time, fluoroscopy times, guide needle drilling times, screw adjustment times, intraoperative bleeding volume and other indicators of two groups were evaluated., Results: Both groups were followed up for 12 to 18 months with an average of (15.6±2.8) months. The fractures of both groups were healed without delayed union and nonunion. There was no significant difference in healing time between two groups( P =0.782). There was no significant difference in Harris scores between two groups at the last follow-up( P =0.813). There was no significant difference in operation time between two groups( P >0.05). There were significant differences between two groups in fluoroscopy times, guide needle drilling times, hollow screw replacement times, and intraoperative bleeding volume( P <0.05)., Conclusion: Closed reduction and hollow screw internal fixation assisted by robot navigation system for femoral neck fracture has the advantages of minimally invasive operation, precise screw placement, and reduction of X-ray radiation damage during operation.

- Abstract
This review article aims to explore the major challenges that the healthcare system is currently facing and propose a new paradigm shift that harnesses the potential of wearable devices and novel theoretical frameworks on health and disease. Lifestyle-induced diseases currently account for a significant portion of all healthcare spending, with this proportion projected to increase with population aging. Wearable devices have emerged as a key technology for implementing large-scale healthcare systems focused on disease prevention and management. Advancements in miniaturized sensors, system integration, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, 5G, and other technologies have enabled wearable devices to perform high-quality measurements comparable to medical devices. Through various physical, chemical, and biological sensors, wearable devices can continuously monitor physiological status information in a non-invasive or minimally invasive way, including electrocardiography, electroencephalography, respiration, blood oxygen, blood pressure, blood glucose, activity, and more. Furthermore, by combining concepts and methods from complex systems and nonlinear dynamics, we developed a novel theory of continuous dynamic physiological signal analysis-dynamical complexity. The results of dynamic signal analyses can provide crucial information for disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management. Wearable devices can also serve as an important bridge connecting doctors and patients by tracking, storing, and sharing patient data with medical institutions, enabling remote or real-time health assessments of patients, and providing a basis for precision medicine and personalized treatment. Wearable devices have a promising future in the healthcare field and will be an important driving force for the transformation of the healthcare system, while also improving the health experience for individuals.

14. [Epidemiological analysis of influenza during COVID-19 epidemic in Jiangsu Province from 2020 to 2022].

- Abstract
By analyzing the epidemic characteristics of influenza during the COVID-19 epidemic in Jiangsu Province from 2020 to 2022, it found that 90 721 influenza-like case samples were collected in Jiangsu Province from 2020 to 2022, of which 6 732 were nucleic acid-positive samples, with an average positive detection rate of 7.4% in three years. The annual positive detection rate presented a U-shaped distribution, with positive detection rates of 4.4%, 3.2% and 14.7%, respectively, with statistically significant differences ( χ
2 =12 126.00, P <0.001). During the seasonal peak period of influenza from 2020 to 2022, there was a significant decrease in the intensity of the two influenza activity peaks that occurred before the virus became fully prevalent in the population. The first peak occurred from January to February 2020, and the positive detection rate of influenza nucleic acid decreased from 54.4% (317/583) in the third week to 2.1% (12/584) in the eighth week, with a statistically significant difference (χ2 =394.49 , P <0.001) . The second occurred in December 2022, and the positive detection rate of influenza nucleic acid decreased from 14.9% (90/605) at the 49th week to 1.9% (11/572) at the 52nd week, with a statistically significant difference (χ2 =62.88, P <0.001). The influenza epidemic in Jiangsu Province from 2020 to 2022 had obvious seasonal characteristics, and the distribution differences of influenza virus-positive cases in each month were statistically significant (χ2 =858.00, P <0.001), with two epidemic peaks each year: winter, spring (December to March of the following year), and summer, and autumn (July to November). The epidemic strains were the B-V strain and seasonal H3 strain, respectively. There was a statistically significant difference in the positive detection rate of influenza cases detected in different age groups (χ2 =60.00, P <0.001). The age group between 5 and 14 years old had the highest influenza-positive detection rate (10.4%), while the age group≥60 years old had a relatively low influenza-positive detection rate (5.1%). Purpose: To study the relationship between the stylomastoid foramen and surrounding bony structures, enrich anatomical data and provide reference for clinical surgery., Methods: A total of 62 intact and dry adult skulls were selected. The shape of the stylomastoid foramen was observed, the diameter of the stylomastoid foramen, the distances from the posterolateral point and the anterior medial point to the surrounding bony structures were measured with a vernier caliper. SPSS 25.0 software package was used to analyze the data., Results: There were four shapes of stylomastoid foramen, i.e., circular (61.29%), oval (29.84%), irregular (8.06%) and triangular (0.81%). The circular diameter was (2.80±0.61) mm, the oval long and short diameters were (4.43±0.96) and (2.79±0.60) mm. Distances from the posterolateral and anterior medial points of the stylomastoid foramen to the posterolateral point of the external opening of the carotid canal, the anterior medial point of the jugular foramen, the midline, the most anterior point of the foramen magnum, the posterior point of the great palatine foramen, the posterolateral point of the foramen lacerated, the foramen ovale, the posterolateral point of the foramen spinosum, the anterior point of the styloid process root, the outermost point of the tympanomastoid fissure and the tip of the mastoid process were (16.10±2.81), (24.01±2.65), (44.95±3.24), (45.10±2.71), (61.66±4.14), (35.56±4.35), (32.26±2.85), (29.12±3.40), (10.39±3.25), (9.49±2.24) and (12.01±2.79) mm; (12.80±2.41), (21.56±2.51), (42.96±3.97), (42.91±2.76), (58.97±3.97), (32.98±4.14), (29.20±2.77), (25.80±2.87), (7.37±2.33), (11.42±2.00) and (15.41±2.57) mm, respectively. Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the apertures and distances between the left and right side(P>0.05)., Conclusions: Most of the stylomastoid foramen are round and oval, understanding the distance between the foramen and surrounding bony structures is helpful for guiding clinical operations and enriching anatomical knowledge.

- Abstract
Objective: To explore the risk factors for diabetic retinopathy (DR) in patients with diabetes and the mediating effect of insulin use on the relationship between glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and DR. Methods: Cross-sectional study. Random cluster sampling was conducted using a random number table method. A total of 84 sampling points (including 2 pilot points) were selected from the registered population of patients with type 2 diabetes aged 50 years and above at the Disease Prevention and Control Center in Funing County, Jiangsu Province. Questionnaires and biochemical tests were performed to obtain information on the general characteristics of the participants, medical history, insulin use, and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels. Ocular examinations, including anterior segment and fundus examinations, were conducted. The participants were divided into two groups, DR (diabetic retinopathy) and non-DR, based on the presence or absence of retinal hemorrhages, hard exudates, cotton wool spots, neovascularization, preretinal or vitreous hemorrhage. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to identify the influencing factors for DR. The Karlson-Holm-Breen analysis method was used for mediation effect analysis. Results: A total of 2 067 diabetic patients were enrolled, of whom 1 965 completed the survey and 1 802 were included in the statistical analysis, resulting in a response rate of 87.2%. Among them, 660 patients were diagnosed with DR, with a detection rate of 36.63%. The results of multivariate analysis showed that diabetes duration ( OR =1.166, 95% CI : 1.138-1.196), family history of diabetes ( OR =1.325, 95% CI : 1.001-1.755), insulin therapy ( OR =1.995, 95% CI : 1.434-2.777), HbA1c level ( OR =1.513, 95% CI : 1.189-1.925), and alcohol consumption ( OR =0.712, 95% CI : 0.514-0.985) were independent risk factors for DR. The mediating effect of insulin use accounted for 13.67% of the total effect of HbA1c on DR ( P <0.001). Conclusions: The risk factors for DR in patients with diabetes include a history of insulin therapy, longer duration of diabetes, family history of diabetes, alcohol consumption, and high HbA1c levels. Insulin use increases the impact of HbA1c on DR and has a partial mediating effect on DR.

- Abstract
Persistent, mobile, and toxic or very persistent and very mobile (PMT/vPvM) chemicals have been widely detected in surface water, groundwater, and drinking water around the world and are important emerging contaminants that may significantly affect human health and the environment in the future. According to the identification criteria proposed by the European Union, there are thousands of PMT/vPvM substances in existing chemicals, covering a wide range of applications, including dozens of high-yield industrial chemicals such as melamine. PMT/vPvM chemicals can be discharged into the environment through farmland runoff, industrial wastewater, and domestic sewage, and sewage treatment plants are currently considered to be their main discharge route. It is difficult to effectively remove PMT/vPvM chemicals through the current conventional water treatment technology; they can exist in the water circulation system of the urban human settlement environment for a long time, endangering the safety of drinking water and the ecosystem. The European Union has taken the lead in introducing PMT/vPvM chemicals specifically into the priority areas of the current chemical risk management system. At present, there are still many potential PMT/vPvM chemicals in the environment, and their monitoring methods need to be further improved. It will take time for the identification of substances, the scope of categories, and the establishment of lists. Studies on the environmental fate and exposure of PMT/vPvM in various regions of the world are still very limited, and research on the potential, long-term ecotoxicity, and human health hazard effects remains scarce. At the same time, the research and development of substitute or alternative technologies, as well as environmental engineering treatment technologies such as sewage treatment and contaminated site remediation, will become an urgent need for future PMT/vPvM risk scientific research and management decisions.

Objective: To compare clinical efficacy of No-touch technique and traditional retractor in treating calcaneal fracture., Methods: Clinical data of 74 calcaneal fracture patients with closed Sanders typeⅡ to Ⅳ were retrospectively analyzed from July 2019 to June 2021. According to different treatment methods, the patients were divided into No-touch group and conventional group, 37 patinets in each group. In No-touch group, there were 25 males and 12 females, aged from 19 to 70 years old with an average of (42.64±14.16) years old;17 patients were typeⅡ, 14 patinets with type Ⅲ, 6 patients with type Ⅳ according to Sanders fracture classification;three 2.0 mm Kirschner wires were implanted into the talus body, talus neck, and cuboid bone, and the flap was turned upward to expose the operation area. In conventional group, there were 30 males and 7 females, aged from 19 to 67 years old with an average of (41.56±11.38) years old;17 patients with typeⅡ, 12 patients with type Ⅲ, 8 patients with type Ⅳ according to Sanders fracture classification;the operation was completed by exposing the operation area with traditional retractor. Operation time, postoperative incision complications, postoperaive American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) ankle hind foot score at 6 months between two groups were compared., Results: Seventy-four patients were followed up, and follow-up time in No-touch group ranged from 6 to 17 months with an average of(9.57±2.72) months, while in conventional group ranged from 6 to 16 months with an averge of(9.14±2.71) months, and no difference in follow-up between two groups ( P >0.05). Operation time in No-touch group (55.67±7.94) min was shorter than that in conventional group (70.16±9.41) min ( P <0.05);four patients in No-touch group occurred incision complications, while 8 patients in normal group, and had statistically difference( P <0.05). Daily activities and support, maximum walking distance (block), ground walking, limited degree of flexion, extension and valgus, foot alignment and total score of AOFAS scores in No-touch group was significantly higher than that of conventional group ( P <0.05). There were no significant difference in pain degree, abnormal gait and ankle hind foot stability between two groups( P >0.05). According to AOFAS score, 19 patients got excellent result, 16 good and 2 poor in No-touch group;while 9 excellent, 24 good, and 4 poor in conventional group, and no difference between two groups ( P >0.05)., Conclusion: Compared with traditional retractor in treating calcaneal fracture, No-touch technology could significantly shorten operation time, reduce incidence of postopertive complications, while two methods could improve excellent and good rate of ankle joint function recovery after operation.

Codonopsis Radix is a traditional tonic medicine commonly used in China, which has the effects of strengthening the spleen and tonifying the lung, as well as nourishing blood and engendering liquid. The chemical constituents of Codonopsis species are mainly polyacetylenes, alkaloids, phenylpropanoids, lignans, terpenoids and saponins, flavonoids, steroids, organic acids, saccharides, and so on. Modern pharmacological studies showed that Codonopsis Radix also has a variety of pharmacological effects such as enhancing body immunity, protecting gastrointestinal mucosa and resisting ulcers, promoting hematopoietic function, regulating blood sugar, and delaying aging. In this paper, the chemical constituents of Codonopsis species and the pharmacological effects of Codonopsis Radix were summarized, and on this basis, the quality markers of Codonopsis Radix were analyzed. It was predicted that lobetyolin, tangshenoside I, codonopyrrolidium A, and the oligosaccharides were the possible Q-markers of Codonopsis Radix. This paper will provide scientific references for the quality evaluation and profound research and the development of Codonopsis Radix.

Objective: To provide guidance for hip replacement by analyzing the variation of femoral head rotation center in different hip diseases., Methods: A total of 5 459 patients were collected from March 2016 to June 2021, who took positive and proportional plain films of both hips for various reasons. The relative position between the rotation center of the femoral head and the apex of the greater trochanter was measured. The positive variation is more than 2 mm above the top of the great trochanter, and the negative variation is more than 2 mm below the top of the great trochanter. A total of 831 patients with variation of femoral head rotation center were collected and were divided into 4 groups according to different diseases, and the variation was counted respectively. There were 15 cases in the normal group involving 10 cases of positive variation and 5 cases of negative variation. There were 145 cases of avascular necrosis of femoral head involving 25 cases of positive variation and 120 cases of negative variation. There were 346 cases of congenital hip dysplasia involving 225 cases of positive variation(including 25 cases of typeⅠ, 70 cases of type Ⅱ, 115 cases of type Ⅲ and 15 cases of type Ⅳ), and 121 cases of negative variation(including 50 cases of crowe typeⅠ, 60 cases of typeⅡ, 10 cases of type Ⅲ and 1 case of type Ⅳ). There were 325 cases of hip osteoarthritis group involving 45 cases of positive variation and 280 cases of negative variation., Results: There was significant difference in variation of femoral head rotation center among the four groups( P <0.05). There was significant difference in variation of femoral head rotation center among different types of congenital hip dysplasia( P <0.05). There were significant differences in cervical trunk angle and eccentricity among different variations of femoral head rotation center( P <0.05)., Conclusion: The variation of femoral head rotation center is related to cervical trunk angle and eccentricity. The variation of femoral head rotation center is an important factor in hip diseases. The variation of femoral head rotation center is different in different hip diseases. Avascular necrosis of the femoral head and osteoarthritis of the hip were mostly negative variations. With the aggravation of congenital hip dysplasia, the variation of femoral head rotation center gradually changed from negative variation to positive variation.The variation of femoral head rotation center should be paid attention to in the preoperative planning of hip arthroplasty. It is of great significance to select the appropriate prosthesis and place the prosthesis accurately.

Tetramethylpyrazine is the main component of Ligusticum chuanxiong. Studies have found that tetramethylpyrazine has a good protective effect against cardiovascular diseases. In the heart, tetramethylpyrazine can reduce myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting oxidative stress, regulating autophagy, and inhibiting cardiomyocyte apoptosis. Tetramethylpyrazine can also reduce the damage of cardiomyocytes caused by inflammation, relieve the fibrosis and hypertrophy of cardiomyocytes in infarcted myocardium, and inhibit the expansion of the cardiac cavity after myocardial infarction. In addition, tetramethylpyrazine also has a protective effect on the improvement of familial dilated cardiomyopathy. Besides, the mechanisms of tetramethylpyrazine on blood vessels are more abundant. It can inhibit endothelial cell apoptosis by reducing oxidative stress, maintain vascular endothelial function and homeostasis by inhibiting inflammation and glycocalyx degradation, and protect vascular endothelial cells by reducing iron overload. Tetramethylpyrazine also has a certain inhibitory effect on thrombosis. It can play an anti-thrombotic effect by reducing inflammatory factors and adhesion molecules, inhibiting platelet aggregation, and suppressing the expression of fibrinogen and von Willebrand factor. In addition, tetramethylpyrazine can also reduce the level of blood lipid in apolipoprotein E-deficient mice, inhibit the subcutaneous deposition of lipids, inhibit the transformation of macrophages into foam cells, and inhibit the proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells, thereby reducing the formation of atherosclerotic plaque. Salvianolic acid B(Sal B) is the main water-soluble component of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. Studies have found that Sal B has a good protective effect on blood vessels. Sal B can protect endothelial cells by anti-oxidative stress, inducing autophagy, inhibiting endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS), inhibiting endothelial inflammation and adhesion molecule expression, inhibiting endothelial cell permeability, anti-thrombosis, and other ways. In addition, Sal B can alleviate endothelial cell damage caused by high glucose(HG). For vascular smooth muscle cell(VSMC), Sal B can reduce the synthesis and secretion of inflammatory factors by inhibiting cyclooxygenase. It can also play a vasodilatory role by inhibiting Ca~(2+) influx. In addition, Sal B can inhibit VSMC proliferation and migration, thereby alleviating vascular stenosis. Sal B also inhibits lipid deposition in the subendothelium, inhibits macrophage conversion to foam cells, and reduces macrophage apoptosis, thereby reducing the volume of subendothelial lipid plaques. For some atherosclerosis(AS) complications, such as peripheral artery disease(PAD), Sal B can promote angiogenesis, thereby improving ischemia. It should be pointed out that the conclusions obtained from different experiments are not completely consistent, which needs further research. In addition, previous pharmacokinetics showed that Sal B was poorly absorbed by oral administration, and it was unstable in the stomach, with a large first-pass effect in the liver. Sal B had fast distribution and metabolism in vivo and short drug action time. These affect the bioavailability and biological effects of Sal B, and the development of clinically valuable Sal B non-injectable delivery systems remains a great challenge.

25. [Application of short-course radiotherapy with total neoadjuvant therapy in the treatment of middle and low rectal cancer].

Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of short-course radiotherapy with total neoadjuvant therapy (SCRT-TNT) and neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) in patients with locally advanced middle and low rectal cancer. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was carried out. A of 126 patients with locally advanced middle and low rectal cancer who were treated in the Department of Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery of Fujian Cancer Hospital from September 2016 to March 2020 were enrolled, including 73 males and 53 females, with a mean age of (56.5±9.8) (23-77) years. Based on neoadjuvant regimen (nCRT treatment was performed before December 2018 and SCRT-TNT treatment was carried out after January 2019), patients were divided into nCRT group ( n =68) and SCRT-TNT group ( n =58). There were no statistically significant differences in age, sex, distance from tumor to anal verge, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status and clinical TNM stage between the two groups (all P>0.05). Patients in both groups received pelvic intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT). The radiotherapy dose of nCRT group was 50Gy/25 times/5 weeks. Patients in nCRT group received oral capecitabine chemotherapy during radiotherapy and underwent surgery 6-8 weeks after chemoradiation. However, patients in SCRT-TNT group received CapeOX regimen (oxaliplatin+capecitabine) for 2 cycles of induction chemotherapy, followed by short-course radiotherapy (25Gy/5 times/5 days), then underwent a radical surgery two weeks after completion of consolidation chemotherapy (4 cycles). The adverse reactions, perioperative safety and efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy were compared and analyzed between the two groups. Results: Both groups completed neoadjuvant therapy as planned. Patients in nCRT group and SCRT-TNT group had similar incidence of adverse reactions to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, however, there were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of surgical complications, operation time, intraoperative blood loss and postoperative length of hospital stay (all P >0.05). A total of 119 patients underwent total mesenterectomy (TME), including 64 patients in the nCRT group and 55 patients in the SCRT-TNT group, all with R0 resection. The pathological complete response (pCR) rate was 10.9% (7/64) in the nCRT group and 25.5% (14/55) in the SCRT-TNT group, respectively, with a statistically significant difference ( P =0.038). Two years after surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in local recurrence rate and overall survival rate between the two groups (both P >0.05). However, the clinical metastasis rate of SCRT-TNT group was significantly lower than that of nCRT group (20.3% vs 9.1%), with a statistically significant difference ( P <0. 05). Conclusion: SCRT-TNT do not increase the adverse reactions of radio chemotherapy and perioperative risks in the treatment of locally advanced middle and low rectal cancer, and the tumor regression effect is good, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective: To discuss the application value of hard tissue section in the clinicopathology diagnosis. Methods: From March 2021 to December 2021, bone slices of 19 patients (1 patient with osteochondroma, 2 patients with chondrosarcoma, 4 patients with osteosarcoma, 2 patients with fibrous dysplasia, 2 patients with bone metastasis from thyroid papillary carcinoma, 2 patients with osteomyelitis, 4 patients with giant cell tumor of bone, 2 patients with Ewing sarcoma) and 16 hemopathy patients were collected from the Department of Pathology, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital. Of the osteopathy patients, there were 14 male and 5 female with a median age of 31 (10-66) years. Meanwhile, there were 7 male and 9 female with a median age of 28 (16-65) years among these hemopathy patients. Thirty-five cases were treated with modified hard tissue slicing technique and paraffin embedding technique, respectively. The advantages and disadvantages of the two methods for clinical diagnosis of bone disease were compared by Hematoxylin-Eosin staining (H&E staining), immunohistochemical staining (IHC), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and Sanger sequencing. Results: The improved resin-embedded method showed better histological morphology and cell structure. Besides, the expression of Ki67, SATB2, CD34, SMA, CD68,MPO,CD4 and CD33 in immunohistochemical staining in bone tissues which were embedded in resin were more clear in the accurate positive localization than those using paraffin-embedded. MDM2 of FISH exhibited a higher fluorescence intensity and more accurate location. Meanwhile, both methods treated with Sanger sequencing met the requirements of DNA purity and mutation detection. Conclusion: The improved hard tissue section method is simple and short time-consuming, which is suitable for optimizing the clinical bone and bone marrow pathological diagnosis process.

Objective: To compare the effects between second toe tibial dorsal artery flap (2-TDAF) and second toe tibial plantar proper artery flap (2-TPPAF) in repairing finger skin and soft tissue defects. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted. From January 2019 to June 2020, 27 patients with skin and soft tissue defects at the fingertips with area of 1.5 cm×1.2 cm-2.6 cm×1.8 cm after debridement who met the inclusion criteria were admitted to Suzhou Ruihua Orthopaedic Hospital, including 21 males and 6 females, aged 19-59 (37±10) years. According to flap repair methods used in the defective fingers, the patients were divided into 2-TDAF group (12 cases) and 2-TPPAF group (15 cases). The area of 2-TDAF ranged from 1.5 cm×1.2 cm to 2.5 cm×1.6 cm, and the area of 2-TPPAF ranged from 1.7 cm×1.3 cm to 2.6 cm×1.8 cm. Full-thickness skin grafts from the medial side of the ipsilateral leg were grafted to the wounds in donor sites, and the wounds in donor sites of skin grafts were directly sutured. Flap arterial diameter, flap excision time, flap survival situation of patients in 2 weeks after operation, and follow-up time were recorded. At the last follow-up, the two-point discrimination distance of flap graft site, total action motion (TAM) of the finger joints, and wound healing of the flap donor site were recorded; the Vancouver scar scale (VSS) was used to score the scar in donor area of the second toe and the recipient area of fingers; the appearance and self-satisfaction subscales of the Michigan hand outcomes questionnaire (MHQ) were used to evaluate the affected finger. Data were statistically analyzed with independent sample t test or Fisher's exact probability test. Results: The flap artery diameter of patients in 2-TDAF group was 0.35-0.80 (0.56±0.14) mm and the flap cutting time was (14.0±2.7) min, which were significantly shorter than 0.80-1.35 (1.02±0.16) mm and (19.7±3.4) min in 2-TPPAF group (with t values of 7.81 and 4.79, respectively, P <0.01). The flaps of patients in the 2 groups in recipient areas survived well in 2 weeks after operation, and the wounds in donor areas of flaps of patients in the 2 groups healed well at the last follow-up. There was no statistically significant difference in the postoperative follow-up time, and two-point discrimination distance of flap graft site, TAM of the finger joints, VSS score of scar in the second toe donor site and the finger recipient site, and the appearance and self-satisfaction of MHQ scores of the affected finger at the last follow-up ( P >0.05). Conclusions: Compared with 2-TPPAF, 2-TDAF has a shallower anatomical layer and shorter time for surgical flap removal, which can preserve the proper arteries and nerves at the base of the toes and reduce the damage to the donor site.

Liver disease is one of the major problems affecting human health. Ultrasound plays an important role in diagnosis and treatment of diffuse and focal liver diseases. However, conventional ultrasound evaluation is subjective and provides limited information. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology may supplement the disadvantages of conventional ultrasound and has been widely used in the field of ultrasound in liver diseases. To date, remarkable progress has been achieved for the use of AI technology in the diagnosis, assessment of therapeutic efficacy and prognosis prediction of liver diseases. This paper reviews the research progress of ultrasound image-based AI technology in the diagnosis and treatment of diffuse and focal liver diseases.

Objective: In order to conduct high-throughput genome-wide translocation sequencing based on CRISPR/Cas9, Nalm6-cas9 monoclonal cell line expressing Cas9 protein was constructed by lentivirus transduction., Methods: Lentiviral vectors LentiCas9-Blast, pSPAX2, and pMD2.G were used to co-transfect HEK293T cells to obtain recombinant lentivirus. After Nalm6 cells were infected with the recombinant lentivirus, the cells were screened by Blasticidin, and multiple monoclonal cell lines expressing Cas9 protein were obtained by limited dilution. Western blot was used to detect the expression level of Cas9 protein in monoclonal cell lines, and cell count analysis was used to detect the proliferation activity of monoclonal cell lines. LentiCRISPRV2GFP-Δcas9, LentiCRISPRV2GFP-Δcas9-AF4, LentiCRISPRV2GFP-Δ cas9-MLL plasmids were constructed, and transfected with pSPAX2 and pMD2.G, respectively. T vector cloning was used to detect the function of Cas9 protein in Nalm6-Cas9 monoclonal cell line infected with virus., Results: Western blot showed that Nalm6-Cas9_1-6 monoclonal cell line had high expression of Cas9 protein. Cell count analysis showed that high expression of Cas9 protein in Nalm6-Cas9_1-6 monoclonal cell line did not affect cell proliferation activity. The Nalm6-Cas9_1-6 monoclonal cell line had high cleavage activity, and the editing efficiency of AF4 and MLL genes was more than 90% which was determined by T vector cloning., Conclusion: Nalm6-Cas9_1-6 monoclonal cell line stably expressing highly active Cas9 protein was obtained, which provided a basis for exploring the translocation of MLL in therapy-related leukemias based on CRISPR/Cas9 genome-wide high-throughput genome-wide translocation sequencing.

+ and CD34- AML cells and the AML cell lines KG1a and K562 were determined., Results: The expression of TRIM58 mRNA in CD34+ cells was down-regulated in 10 AML patients, while that in CD34- cells was down-regulated in 12 cases. Differences in the promoter methylation level of TRIM58 were statistically significant between AML group and normal control group (P<0.05). Additionally, the expression of TRIM58 mRNA was down-regulated in cell lines KG1a and K562, and up-regulated after decitabine treatment., Conclusion: The down-regulation of mRNA expression of TRIM58 in AML cells may be related to its promoter methylation status.- Published

31. [Temporal variation and influencing factors of albedo in a deciduous broad-leaved forest].

- Abstract
In situ measurement of albedo is important for estimating ecosystem energy budget and its remote sensing application. However, the measurement method of albedo on sloping land is limited and the difference in temporal variation in albedo between visible and near-infrared bands remains unclear. Taking a deciduous broad-leaved forest at the Maoershan Forest Ecological Station in Northeast China as an example, we explored the temporal variation and influencing factors of albedo for three bands: incident and reflected solar radiation (SR, 300-2800 nm), photosynthetically active radiation (PAR, 400-700 nm), and near infrared radiation (NIR, 700-2800 nm). The temporal difference in albedo measurements between the two installation methods of radiometers was analyzed. The results showed that, in sunny days, the diurnal variation in SR and NIR albedo had an asymmetric U-shaped curve around the local noon, while PAR increased from sunrise to sunset. In cloudy days, the albedo decreased sharply and then tended to be stable. The measurement with parallel sensors to the slope increased the daily mean value of albedo, but reduced the daily asymmetry of SR and NIR. For the whole growing season, the maximum albedos of SR, NIR and PAR in horizontal measurement were 0.16, 0.27 and 0.11, respectively, and the minimums were 0.07, 0.11 and 0.03, respectively. Albedo in the SR and NIR wavebands increased first and then decreased (the peak value was in July), while PAR showed a contrasting pattern. SR albedo was mainly controlled by NIR rather than PAR. The contribution of the influencing factors was ranked in the order of normalized difference vegetation index (61.7%-78.5%, representing leaf area index) > solar altitude angle (15.4%-36.9%) > clearness index (0.4%-36.9%).

Objective: This study aims to analyze the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with intravenous leiomyoma (IVL), and to explore the expression characteristics and diagnostic value of angiogenesis related molecules in IVL. Methods: The clinicopathological data of 40 patients with IVL at Women's Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University from January 2013 to April 2021 were reviewed. Log-rank test was performed to compare the difference in recurrence-free survival (RFS) rates among patients with different clinicopathological characteristics. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining was performed on 10 angiogenesis related molecules to analyze their expression characteristics in IVL. The sensitivity and specificity of molecules with high expression rates in the diagnosis of IVL were calculated, the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) was plotted and the area under ROC (AUC) was calculated to evaluate the diagnostic value. Results: Median age of the 40 patients was 47 (43, 50) years. The clinical manifestations of IVL were atypical with the diagnostic accuracy of preoperative ultrasound was 12.5% (5/40), CT and/or MRI was 26.7% (8/30), and intraoperative frozen section was 30.0% (12/40). The overall recurrence rate of IVL was 10.0% (4/40). The Log-rank test showed that the cumulative recurrence-free survival rate of IVL patients with previous cesarean section (40.9%) was lower than that of those without cesarean section (96.4%) ( P <0.05); and their median RFS time was shorter than those without cesarean section (16.4 months vs 22.2 months). The overall positive rates of adrenomedullin (ADM), fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1), vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3 (VEGFR3) and angiogenin receptor tyrosine kinase receptor 1 (TIE1) were 65.0% (26/40), 75.0% (30/40), 57.5% (23/40) and 50.0% (20/40), respectively. FGFR1 expression intensity and positive rate were higher in tumors with a maximum diameter greater than 5 cm than in tumors with a maximum diameter smaller than 5 cm ( P <0.05). The AUC of FGFR1 combined with ADM, VEGFR3, and TIE1 was 0.876 (95% CI : 0.788-0.964, P <0.001). Conclusions: There was no typical clinical manifestation of IVL. A history of the previous cesarean section indicated a lower cumulative recurrence-free survival rate and shorter recurrence interval. It was hard to diagnose IVL by sonography, radiography, or frozen section pathology. FGFR1, ADM, VEGFR3, and TIE1 were all highly expressed in IVL, and the efficacy of the combination of the four molecules in diagnosing IVL was higher than that of imaging and classical vascular endothelial markers, which are expected to be promising molecular diagnostic markers.

The current study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of carotid endarterectomy combined with endovascular therapy in hybrid operating room for patients with segmental atherosclerotic internal carotid artery occlusion, and share the experience of preoperative screening of patients suitable for vascular reconstruction. A total of 20 patients with internal carotid artery occlusion (ICAO) who were admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery, General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University from May 2018 to May 2020 were collected, and 15 patients met the inclusion criteria. All patients received hybrid surgery. The total success rate of recanalization was 14/15, and only 1 patient developed ICA re-occlusion at 1 year follow up.Therefore, carotid endarterectomy combined with endovascular treatment in hybrid operating room was an alternative treatment for patients with segmental atherosclerotic internal carotid artery occlusion.

34. [Cell characteristics of Larix principis-rupprechtii on the edge of different stand types].

To analyze the effects of forest edge on radial growth and cell characteristics in different stand types of Larix principis-rupprechtii , we investigated the differences on radial growth, cell size and numbers between edge trees and inner trees of L. principis-rupprechtii in pure L. principis-rupprechtii forests and mixed forests of L. principis-rupprechtii and Betula platyphylla in Saihanba mechanical forest farm, China. The results showed that radial growth of the edge trees was significantly faster than that of the inner trees in pure forests, with the total ring width, earlywood width and latewood width of edge trees being 48.9%, 58.9% and 29.6% higher than those of inner trees, respectively. However, there was no difference in radial growth between edge trees and inner trees in mixed forest. The total number of earlywood cells, the number of large cells and small cells in earlywood of edge trees were increased by 63.3%, 55.6% and 70.0%, while the total number of latewood cells, the number of large cells and small cells in latewood of edge trees were increased by 35.4%, 37.5% and 28.5% compared with those of inner trees. There was no significant difference in the cell sizes between edge trees and inner trees. The cell numbers of earlywood and latewood of edge trees were not significantly different from those of inner trees in mixed forest, but the cell size in the earlywood of edge trees was 50.0% larger than those of inner trees in mixed forest. The sizes of the largest cells, the smallest cells, the large cells and the small cells in the earlywood of edge trees were increased by 28.6%, 33.3%, 16.6% and 25.0% compared with those of inner trees, respectively. The fast growth of edge trees and slow growth of inner trees in the pure forests could be effectively alleviated by cultivating mixed forests.

Objective: To analyze the influencing factors of iron metabolism assessment in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome. Methods: MRI and/or DECT were used to detect liver and cardiac iron content in 181 patients with MDS, among whom, 41 received regular iron chelation therapy during two examinations. The adjusted ferritin (ASF) , erythropoietin (EPO) , cardiac function, liver transaminase, hepatitis antibody, and peripheral blood T cell polarization were detected and the results of myelofibrosis, splenomegaly, and cyclosporine were collected and comparative analyzed in patients. Results: We observed a positive correlation between liver iron concentration and ASF both in the MRI group and DECT groups ( r =0.512 and 0.606, respectively, P <0.001) , only a weak correlation between the heart iron concentration and ASF in the MRI group ( r =0.303, P <0.001) , and no significant correlation between cardiac iron concentration and ASF in the DECT group ( r =0.231, P =0.053) . Moreover, transfusion dependence in liver and cardiac [MRI group was significantly associated with the concentration of iron in: LIC: (28.370±10.706) mg/g vs (7.593±3.508) mg/g, t =24.30, P <0.001; MIC: 1.81 vs 0.95, z =2.625, P <0.05; DECT group: liver VIC: (4.269±1.258) g/L vs (1.078±0.383) g/L, t =23.14, P <0.001: cardiac VIC: 1.69 vs 0.68, z =3.142, P <0.05]. The concentration of EPO in the severe iron overload group was significantly higher than that in the mild to moderate iron overload group and normal group ( P <0.001) . Compared to the low-risk MDS group, the liver iron concentration in patients with MDS with cyclic sideroblasts (MDS-RS) was significantly elevated [DECT group: 3.80 (1.97, 5.51) g/L vs 1.66 (0.67, 2.94) g/L, P =0.004; MRI group: 13.7 (8.1,29.1) mg/g vs 11.6 (7.1,21.1) mg/g, P =0.032]. Factors including age, bone marrow fibrosis, splenomegaly, T cell polarization, use of cyclosporine A, liver aminotransferase, and hepatitis antibody positive had no obvious effect on iron metabolism. Conclusion: There was a positive correlation between liver iron concentration and ASF in patients with MDS, whereas there was no significant correlation between cardiac iron concentration and ASF. Iron metabolism was affected by transfusion dependence, EPO concentration, and RS.

- Abstract
The clinical therapeutic regimen for acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is not significantly different between adults and children, which is mostly based on IA (idarubicin and cytosine arabinoside) induction chemotherapy. With the rapid development of sequencing technique, people's understandings towards the molecular and biological abnormalities of AML are increasing, diverse AML gene mutation-based targeted drugs have been rapidly developed and applied. In this review, several commonly gene mutations in AML (such as FLT3, NPM1 and C/EBPA) was described, and the therapeutic effects and differences of targeted drugs that used in clinical treatment or had been reported (like tyrosine kinase inhibitor, IDH1 mutation inhibitor and epigenetic modification inhibitor) in child and adult AML patients were summrized.

To reveal molecular mechanisms underlying photosynthesis responses of Dahurian larch ( Larix gmelinii ) to environmental changes, we used the high-throughput sequencing technology to sequence the transcriptome of larch leaves from four latitudinal sites with different environmental conditions, and compared differential expression genes (DEGs). The four sites from high- to low-latitude were Tahe (52°52' N), Songling (50°72' N), Heihe (49°22' N), and Dailing (47°08' N). A total of 282428811 clean reads were sequenced out, among which the abundace of DEGs were 16915, 18812, 28536, 20635, 29957 and 23617 for the Tahe-Songling, Tahe-Heihe, Tahe-Dailing, Songling-Heihe, Songling-Dailing, and Heihe-Dailing comparisons, respectively. The expression of nine Psb genes family ( i.e. , PsbB , PsbK , PsbO , PsbP , PsbQ , PsbS, PsbW , Psb 27, and Psb 28) encoding Photosystem Ⅱ and that of three genes ( ATPF 1 A , atpA , ATPF 1 G , atpG , and ATPF 1 D , atpH ) encoding F-type ATPase, which were involved in photosynthesis pathway, were significantly up-regulated with increasing environmental differences among the sites. A similar up-regulation pattern occurred for the expression of genes encoding glutamine synthetase ( glnA , GLUL ), nitrate reductase ( NR ), and carbonic anhydrase ( cynT , can ) that were involved in nitrogen metabolism pathway. The numbers of DEGs and up-regulated genes increased with the increases in environmental changes among the sites, resulting in inter-site divergence of photosynthetic capacity of larch trees.

Objective: To investigate the imaging features of condylar cystic degeneration of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) by cone-beam CT (CBCT), spiral CT, MRI and radionuclide bone imaging. Methods: From January 2018 to December 2020, thirty-two patients with cyst-like lesions of condylein temporomandibular joint were examined by CBCT, spiral CT, MRI and radionuclide bone imaging at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in General Hospital of Chinese PLA. There were 12 males and 20 females involved, aged from 16 to 65 years with an average age of (33.9±12.5) years. The characteristics of CBCT, spiral CT, MRI and radionuclide bone imaging were analyzed. Condylar cyst like lesions were classified as type A and type B based on the presence or absence of surface bone defects. Condylar cyst like lesions were classified as type Ⅰ(yes) and type Ⅱ(no) according to the accompanying bone marrow edema-like lesions of the condyles. The incidence of condylar bone marrow edema, disc displacement and abnormal bone metabolism were analyzed. Results: A total of 64 joint images of 32 patients were included, including 34 sides with TMJ cyst-like lesion and 6 sides with multiple cyst-like lesions,the total cyst-like lesions were 42. The largest diameter of cyst-like lesion ranged from 1.0 to 12.4 mm, with an average length of (3.7± 1.8) mm. There were 24 cases of type A TMJ cyst like lesion and 10 cases of type B cyst-like lesion. The detection rate of CBCT was 95.2% (40/42) and that of spiral CT was 100% (42/42), there was no significant difference (Calibration Chi-square=0.51, P =0.474). The detection rate of nuclear magnetic resonance was 80.1% (34/42), and the detection rate of cyst-like lesions less than 2 mm was 3/11. In the cyst like lesion side, there were 9 sides with anterior disc displacement with reduction, 20 sides with anterior disc displacement without reduction. In the non-cyst like lesion side, 10 sides with anterior disc displacement with reduction and 6 sides with anterior disc displacement without reduction. There was a significant difference in the displacement of the disc between cyst-like and non-cystic lesion side (χ²=7.80, P =0.005). MRI showed that 6 cases of cystic side[17.6% (6/34)] had bone marrow edema-like lesions (all type A), 1 case of non-cyst like lesions side [3.3% (1/30)] had bone marrow edema-like lesion, there was no significant difference between cystic and non-cystic lesions (Calibration Chi-square=2.04, P =0.153). There was a significant difference between type A and B cystic lesions (Fisher exact probability method, P =0.024). Radionuclide bone imaging showed abnormal bone metabolism in 26 patients in the cyst-like lesion side and 5 patients in the non-cyst like lesion side (χ²=22.82, P <0.001). Conclusion s Multi-slice Spiral CT could detect the cyst-like lesion of TMJ condyle in the early stage, which is different from the large joint. And the formation mechanism may vary from the different classifications.

2.5 pollution in Yuncheng City were analyzed based on the ambient air quality monitoring data from March 2019 to February 2020, and the hybrid single-particle Lagrangian integrated trajectory (HYSPLIT) and cluster analysis were used to discuss the contamination transportation pathway and the distribution of potential pollution sources affecting PM2.5 in Yuncheng City in different seasons. The results showed that the PM2.5 concentration in Yuncheng was the highest in winter (111.24 μg·m-3 ) and the lowest in summer (30.02 μg·m-3 ). PM2.5 /PM10 was greater than 0.6 in autumn and winter, indicating that the particulate matter pollution in Yuncheng City in autumn and winter was mainly fine particulate matter; spatially, the annual mean value of PM2.5 presented distribution characteristics that were high in the northern and central regions and low in the eastern and western regions. The high-value areas of PM2.5 were significantly and strongly correlated with SO2 , NO2 , and CO, indicating that local emissions contributed to the high values. The highest values in spring and winter were located in Hejin City (58.50 μg·m-3 ) and Jishan County (142.33 μg·m-3 ), and the highest values in summer and autumn were located in Pinglu County (36.92 μg·m-3 ) and the Salt Lake area (62.94 μg·m-3 ), respectively. Transportation analysis showed that spring and winter were mainly affected by air masses transporting northwestward, accounting for 58.69% and 55.77%. In summer, air masses were mainly eastward and southward, and in autumn, pollution was from short-distance transport air masses from southwestern Henan. The largest ratio was 32.89%; the potential source area was the smallest in spring and summer; it then began to grow in autumn, and it was the widest in the winter and had the highest contribution. The main source area in spring and summer was located in western and central Henan, and in autumn and winter, source areas were concentrated at the junction of Shaanxi, Shanxi, and Henan and west of Shaanxi.- Published

The increases in frequency and intensity of drought worldwide has seriously affected tree growth, and even led to widespread forest mortality. Leaf traits estimated from pressure-volume (PV) curve provide key leaf physiological information that reflects the drought tolerance of trees. However, it is uncertain that which PV parameter performs the best at local scale. Here, we measured five PV traits (including TLP, π
0 , ε , Cleaf , and RWCtlp ) and two leaf structural traits (specific leaf area and leaf density) in 20 tree species (16 angiosperms and 4 gymnosperms) in a temperate mixed forest at the Maoershan Forest Ecosystem Research Station, Northeast China. The objectives of this study were to search the best indicators of leaf drought tolerance at local scale, and to explore the correlation between PV traits and leaf structural traits. We found that angiosperms had significantly greater RWCtlp and lower Cleaf than gymnosperms, indicating that RWCtlp and Cleaf might be the good indicators of leaf drought tolerance in temperate mixed forest in Northeast China. Within angiosperm species, TLP and π0 were significantly and negatively correlated with leaf density, but positively correlated with specific leaf area; while ε was negatively correlated with specific leaf area. However, the opposite trends between PV traits and leaf structural traits were observed between gymnosperms and angiosperms, which might be attributed to their differences in drought response and adaptation strategies.- Published

- Abstract
This study aims to explore the effect of extract of Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma, and Chuanxiong Rhizoma(hereinafter referred to as GNS) on the SIRT1-autophagy pathway of endothelial cell senescence induced by hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2). To be specific, vascular endothelial cells were classified into the blank control group(control), model group(model), model + DMSO group(DMSO), resveratrol group(RESV), and GNS low-dose(GNS-L), medium-dose(GNS-M), and high-dose(GNS-H) groups. They were treated with H_2O_2 for senescence induction except the control. After intervention of cells in each group with corresponding drugs for 24 h, cell growth status was observed under an inverted microscope, and the formation of autophagosome under the transmission electron microscope. In addition, the changes of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3β(LC3 B) were detected by immunofluorescence staining. The autophagy flux was tracked with the autophagy double-labeled adenovirus(mRFP-GFP-LC3) fusion protein. Dansylcadaverine(MDC) staining was employed to determine the autophagic vesicles, and Western blot the expression of sirtuin 1(SIRT1), ubiquitin-binding protein p62, and LC3Ⅱ. After H_2O_2 induction, cells demonstrated slow growth, decreased adhesion ability, raised number of SA-β-gal-stained blue ones, a certain number of autophagosomes with bilayer membrane and secondary lysosomes in the cytoplasm, and slight rise of autophagy flux level. Compared with the model group, GNS groups showed improved morphology, moderate adhesion ability, complete and smooth membrane, decreased SA-β-gal-stained blue cells, many autophagosomes, autophagic vesicles, and secondary lysosomes in the cytoplasm, increased autophagolysosomes, autophagy flux level, and fluorescence intensity of LC3 B and MDC, up-regulated expression of SIRT1 and LC3Ⅱ, and down-regulated expression of p62, suggesting the improvement of autophagy level. GNS can delay the senescence of vascular endothelial cells. After the intervention, the autophagy flux and related proteins SIRT1, LC3Ⅱand p62 changed significantly, and the autophagy level increased significantly. However, EX527 weakened the effect of Chinese medicine in delaying vascular senescence. GNS may delay the senescence of vascular endothelial cells through the SIRT1 autophagy pathway.

Background & Problems: Facilitated tucking (containment) is a strategy that has been demonstrated to improve insufficient muscle tone, reduce procedural pain, and stabilize vital signs in premature infants., Purpose: The aim of this study was to improve the accuracy and implementation rate of nursing staffs` facilitated tucking., Methods: Formulate and standardize nursing care to reduce the burden on nursing staff and make staff implementation consistent. Decomposition diagrams of the production steps were posted in patient units, on-the-job education courses were held, and a short video was used to provide care guidelines to nursing staff., Results: Compared to pretest levels, the rate of facilitated tucking implementation in the early, middle, and late invasive medical treatment periods, respectively, increased from 0% to 53.5%, 1.2% to 50%, and 6% to 48.8%, while the accuracy rate of facilitated tucking cognition increased from 61.1% to 91.9%., Conclusions: This project effectively promoted the standardization of facilitated tucking in our hospital, provided preterm infants with better care and neurological development, and improved mother-infant attachment.

Microarray data of hippocampal tissue(HC) of the cognitively intact elderly(60-99 years old) were compared with those of the middle-aged and the young(20-59 years old) by bioinformatics techniques to initially screen out differentially expressed genes(DEGs) and then predict potential effective Chinese medicinals for the treatment of brain aging. The gene expression profile(accession: GSE11882) was downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO) and DEGs were screened based on R package. The key DEGs were identified by STRING, Cytoscape and the plug-in, followed by Gene Ontology(GO) term and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) pathway analysis. Then the key genes and the medical ontology information retrieval platform(Coremine Medical) were mapped against each other to single out the Chinese medicinals for the treatment of brain aging and construct the " Chinese medicinal-active constituent-target" network. Among the resultant 268 DEGs(246 down-regulated and 22 up-regulated), the 15 key genes were mainly involved in biological processes such as leukocyte migration, neutrophil activation, cell chemotaxis, microglia activation and response to external stimulus, and pathways such as inflammatory process, immune response, cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction, PI3 K-Akt signaling pathway, Rap1 signaling pathway, chemokine signaling pathway and Toll-like receptor signaling pathway. The potential effective Chinese medicinals were Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma, Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma and Astragali Radix. The analysis of DEGs and key genes enhances the understanding of the mechanisms of brain aging. This study provides potential gene targets and ideas for the development of Chinese medicine for brain aging.

- Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects and mechanisms of taurine up-regulated gene 1 (TUG1) in hepatic fibrosis. Methods: According to the literature, the classic hepatic fibrosis model of rats induced by 1%DMN(1ml/kg/d) was established. The rats with hepatic fibrosis and activated hepatic stellate cells (HSC) were divided into model control group, negative control group (transfected with siRNA negative control), siRNA interference group (transfected with TUG1). At the end of the experiment, hematoxylin eosin (HE) staining was used to detect the pathological changes of liver tissue; reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot were used to determine the expression levels of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), TUG1, collagen I, matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1), Smad2 and Smad3 in rat liver tissue and activated hepatic stellate cells. Results: Compared with the model control group, the protein and gene levels of TUG1 and α-SMA in the negative control group were increased significantly( P <0.05). The protein and gene levels of TUG1, α-SMA, collagen I, MMP-2, TIMP-1, Smad2 and Smad3 in the liver tissue and activated hepatic stellate cells in the siRNA interference group were decreased ( P <0.05) while compared with the blank control group and the negative control group. There were no significant differences in the levels of TUG1, α-SMA, collagen I, MMP-2, TIMP-1, Smad2 and Smad3 in the liver tissue and activated hepatic stellate cells between the control group and the negative control group ( P >0.05). Conclusion: TUG1 level is elevated in hepatic fibrosis tissue and activated hepatic stellate cells. Silencing TUG1 may improve the pathological damage of hepatic fibrosis induced by 1% DMN by inhibiting the transforming growth factor(TGF-β1)/ Smad signaling pathway.

- Abstract
Objective: To investigate the intervention effects and mechanism of interleukin-17A (IL-17A) on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods: C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into wild type blank control group, wild type COPD group and IL-7A knockout COPD group. Mice in wild type blank control group received no treatment, and mice in the other two groups were exposed to cigarette smoke to induce COPD (Cigarette: 1 cigarette / time, 4 times/day, 45 minutes/time; interval time: 1 hour; total intervention time: 90 days). Lung function of mice was assessed using animal pulmonary function machine. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of mice was collected and BALF cell count and classification were determined. The lung tissue of mice was collected, the expression level of IL-17A in airway epithelium was determined by flow cytometry, and the levels of inflammatory factors in lung tissue were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The expression level of JNK/AP1 signaling pathway protein in mouse lung tissue was determined by Western blot. Results: Compared with the wild type blank control group mice, the wild type COPD group mice had significantly higher expression level of IL-17A, significantly lower peak inspiratory flow rate (PIF) and peak expiratory flow rate (PEF), significantly higher number of BALF neutrophils, eosinophils, lymphocytes and macrophage, significantly higher expression levels of CXC chemokine 1(CXCL1), CXC chemokine 2 (CXCL2), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and interleukin-6 (IL-6), and significantly higher phosphorylation level of JNK, cJun and cFos and AP1 expression levels ( P <0.05). Compared with COPD mice, IL-17A expression level in airway epithelium of mice in IL-7A knockout COPD group was significantly lower, PIF and PEF were higher, the number of BALF neutrophils, eosinophils, lymphocytes and macrophage was significantly lower, the expression levels of CXCL1, CXCL2, IL-1β and IL-6 in lung tissue were lower, and the phosphorylation levels of JNK, cJun and cFos and AP1 expression levels were significantly lower ( P <0.05). Conclusion: Cigarette smoke can induce the production of IL-17A and reduce (or inhibit) the production (or expression or secretion) of IL-17A in mouse airway epithelium, thus inhibiting the JNK/AP1 signaling pathway to reduce the airway inflammation and improve the lung function of COPD mice.

46. [Epidemiology of uncorrected refractive errors in type 2 diabetics aged 50 and above in Funing County, China: the Jiangsu Diabetic Eye Study].

- Abstract
Objective: To estimate the prevalence of uncorrected refractive errors among people aged 50 years and above in Funing county, Jiangsu province. Methods: Randomly cluster sampling was used in selecting individuals aged ≥50 years in 82 clusters from Funing County Center for Disease Prevention and Control. Uncorrected refractive error was defined as an improvement of at least 2 lines in best corrected visual acuity compared with presenting visual acuity in the better eye. The mean±standard deviation was used to describe the continuous data, and the rate or composition ratio was used to represent the classified data. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to analyze the prevalence of uncorrected refractive errors in different ages, genders, educational levels, durations of diabetes and levels of glycosylated hemoglobin. Statistical significance was defined as P <0.05. Results: A total of 2 067 persons were enumerated, and 1910 (92.4%) participants were in the statistical analyses. The prevalence of uncorrected refractive error was 25.63%. The prevalence of uncorrected refractive error for myopia only, hyperopia only, astigmatism only, myopia with astigmatism and hyperopia with astigmatism was 72.55% (37/51), 46.77% (58/124), 17.81% (13/73), 63.95% (94/147) and 51.98% (100/194), respectively. The results showed that the older age, level of glycosylated hemoglobin, myopia and lens state were the independent influencing factors of uncorrected refractive error. The odds ratio ( OR ) for people aged 70 to<80 years and ≥80 years was 1.81 and 1.90, respectively, with statistical significance compared to people younger than 60 years. Compared with the level of glycosylated hemoglobin less than 5.6%, the OR with glycosylated hemoglobin from7.1% to 8.0% and more than 10% was 1.84 ( P< 0.05) and 1.82 ( P< 0.05), respectively. The OR of myopia, low myopia, moderate myopia and high myopia was 2.98 ( P< 0.01), 6.94 ( P< 0.01), 42.43 ( P< 0.01) and 77.85 ( P< 0.01), respectively. The OR of opacity of the eye lens was 7.60 ( P <0.01). Conclusions: Uncorrected refractive error is one of the important causes of visual impairment in diabetic patients aged 50 and above in Funing county, Jiangsu province; the important influencing factors were age, glycosylated hemoglobin concentration, myopia and lens status. Relevant health departments should popularize the eye health for diabetic patients and conduct regular optometry and fundus examination. (Chin J Ophthalmol, 2021, 57: 757-765) .

Objective: To explore the molecular mechanism of locus coeruleus(LC) involved in electroacupuncture (EA) anti myocardial ischemia., Methods: Twenty-four SD rats were randomly divided into sham-operation, model, EA and EA +lesion groups, with 6 rats in each group. The acute myocardial ischemia (AMI) model was established by ligation of the left anterior descending branch of coronary artery. EA (2 Hz/15 Hz, 1 mA) was applied to bilateral "Shenmen" (HT7) -"Tongli" (HT5) and the middle-point between HT7 and HT5 for 30 min, once daily for 3 days. For rats of the EA +lesion group, the virus (300 nL) was injected into bilateral LC before EA treatment. Serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST) was detected by ELISA. The gene expression profiles of rat heart were detected by transcriptome sequencing, the differentially expressed genes were screened, and Gene Ontology (GO) functional classification and Kyoto Encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) metabolic pathway enrichment analysis were performed., Results: Compared with the sham-operation group, serum AST content was significantly increased in the model group ( P <0.01). Following the intervention, serum AST was significantly reduced in the EA group ( P <0.01), while the serum AST in the EA + lesion group was significantly higher compared with the EA group ( P <0.05). Differential expression analysis showed that 1 138 differentially expressed genes were screened out between the model group and the sham-operation group, 1 330 differentially expressed genes between model and EA group, and 804 differentially expressed genes between EA and EA + lesion group. Among them, 218 differential genes were involved in the regulation of EA anti-myocardial ischemia in LC. GO functional classification analysis showed that these differentially expressed genes mainly involved in cell processes, metabolic processes and biological regulation in biological processes. KEGG pathway analysis showed that these differentially expressed genes were enriched in sulfur relay system, thiamine metabolism, glutathione metabolism, C5 branch dicarboxylic acid metabolism, cell adhesion molecules and Th1 and Th2 cell differentiation., Conclusion: EA intervention has a positive effect in anti-myocardial ischemia, which may be related to the sulfur relay system, thiamine metabolism, glutathione metabolism, C5 branch dicarboxylic acid metabolism, cell adhesion molecules and Th1 and Th2 cell differentiation involved in LC.

Objective: To observe the effect of Mongolian medicine three-acupoints balance needling on the expression of p11/tPA/BDNF pathway and miRNA-16 in the hippocampus and middle raphe nucleus (MRN) in chronic stress depression model rats, so as to explore its mechanisms underlying improvement of depression., Methods: Male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control, model, medication and Mongolian medicine acupuncture (acupuncture) groups, with 12 rats in each group. The depression model was established by using chronic unpredictable mild stress method. The rats in the medication group received gavage of prozac (2 mg/kg, diluted with normal saline, 1 mg/mL) 1 h after stress stimulation, once per day for 28 days, and those in the acupuncture group received three-acupoints (Heyi, Badagan and Xin) needling, once a day for 28 days. The behavioral changes were detected by using open field test and sugar consumption test before modeling and after the intervention. The immunoactivity of p11 and tPA proteins in the MRN, and their expression levels in both the MRN and hippocampus were detected by using immunofluorescence histochemistry and Western blot, separately, and the expression levels of miRNA-16 and BDNF mRNA in the hippocampus and MRN detected by using real-time quantitative PCR., Results: After modeling, the crossing and rearing scores of open field tests and the relative consumption of sucrose in the model group were apparently lower than those of the blank control group ( P <0.05), the expression levels of p11 and tPA in the MRN, and those of p11 and tPA proteins and BDNF mRNA in the MRN and hippocampus were significantly down-regulated ( P <0.05), while those of miRNA-16 in the hippocampus and MRN were significantly up-regulated ( P <0.05). Compared with the model group, the crossing and rearing scores of open field tests and glucose consumption, as well as the expression levels of p11 and tPA proteins and BDNF mRNA in the hippocampus and MRN were obviously increased in both the medication and acupuncture groups ( P <0.05), while the expression of miRNA-16 in hippocampus was markedly down-regulated in both the medication and acupuncture groups ( P <0.05). No significant differences were found between the acupuncture and medication groups in all the indexes mentioned above ( P >0.05)., Conclusion: Mongolian medicine three-acupoints balance needling can improve the depressive state in depression rats, which may be associated with its effects in up-regulating the expression of p11 and tPA proteins and BDNF mRNA in the hippocampus and MRN and in down-regulating miRNA-16 in the hippocampus, suggesting an involvement of miRNA-16 controlled p11/tPA/BDNF signaling pathway in the antidepressant effect of acupuncture.

Each group of cells was set with 3 replicate wells, and the experiment was repeated 3 times. The content of malondialdehyde(MDA) and activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione peroxidas(GSH-Px) were detected by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The cells apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry. The protein expressions of B-cell lymphoma-2(Bcl-2), Bcl-2-associated X protein(Bax) and TRIM10 were detected by Western blot, and the expressions of miR-7a-5p and TRIM10 mRNA were detected by real-time quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR). The double luciferase reporter gene experiment was used to verify the regulatory relationship between miR-7a-5p and TRIM10. Results: Compared with the control group, the MDA content, apoptosis rate, the expression of Bax protein, and the expression of TRIM10 mRNA and protein in the H/R group were all increased ( P <0.05), while the activities of SOD and GSH-Px, and the expressions of Bcl-2 protein and miR-7a-5p were all decreased ( P <0.05). Compared with the H/R group, the MDA content, apoptosis rate, the expression of Bax protein, and the expression of TRIM10 mRNA and protein in the different doses of dezocine intervention group were decreased ( P <0.05), while the activities of SOD and GSH-Px, and the expressions of Bcl-2 protein and miR-7a-5p were all increased ( P <0.05), and there were significant differences in each index between the different doses of dezocine intervention groups ( P < 0.05). Compared with the H/R+miR-NC group, the MDA content, apoptosis rate, the protein expressions of Bax and TRIM10 in the H/R+miR-7a-5p group were decreased ( P <0.05), while the activities of SOD and GSH-Px, and the expression of Bcl-2 protein were all increased ( P <0.05). Compared with the H/R+dezocine+anti- miR-NC group, the MDA content, apoptosis rate, the protein expressions of Bax and TRIM10 in the H/R+dezocine+anti-miR-7a-5p group were all increased ( P <0.05), while the activities of SOD and GSH-Px, and the expression of Bcl-2 protein were all decreased ( P <0.05). Conclusion: Dezocine can reduce oxidative stress and apoptosis of rat cardiomyocytes H9C2 induced by H/R, which may play a role in regulating the miR-7a-5p / TRIM10 axis.- Published

- Abstract
Fine roots play an important role in energy flow and substance cycling in forests. How-ever, the estimates of biomass, production and turnover of fine roots remain large uncertainties, and the mechanism underlying local-scale spatial variation in fine roots is still unclear. In a temperate secondary forest in the Maoer Mountain in Northeast China, we investigated the vertical distribution of fine root biomass and necromass at the 0-100 cm profile and the dynamics, production and turnover rate of fine root in 0-20 cm soil layer. The sequential coring (including the Decision Matrix and the Maximum-Minimum formula) and the ingrowth core (3 cm diameter and 5 cm diameter) were compared in estimating production and turnover rate of fine roots. Forest stand variables that might affect fine roots were also explored. The results showed that 76.8% of fine root biomass and 62.9% of necromass concentrated in the 0-20 cm soil layer, and that both decreased exponentially with increa-sing soil depth. The seasonal variation in both fine root biomass and necromass was not significant in 0-20 cm soil layer, which might be related to the negligible snowfall in winter and the extremely high precipitation in summer. There was no significant difference in the results of the estimated fine root production between two diameter ingrowth cores. After log-transformed, fine root production and turnover rate estimated by the Decision Matrix, the Maximum-Minimum formula and ingrowth cores were significantly different among methods. With the increases of soil nutrient concentrations, fine root biomass/fine root necromass ratio significantly increased, fine root necromass significantly decreased, whereas fine root biomass, productivity, and turnover rate were not related to soil nutrient. There was a significant positive correlation between fine root production and aboveground woody biomass increment in the previous-year but not current-year.
