Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma(MPM) is a rare and aggressive tumor and highly associated with asbestos exposure. Due to the wide application of asbestos materials in the early stage, the incidence of MPM is increasing now. The symptoms of MPM are atypical, so most of patients are in the late stage when diagnosed. And the prognosis is so poor that the median survival time is only 12 months. Now the main treatment of MPM is CRS-HIPEC, at the same time, a number of immune and targeted treatments are under study. This article reviews the current status of treatment on MPM, aiming to improve the understandings of this disease and provide a reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Objective: To comparatively determine the genetic variation and differentiation of different breeding strains of Panax notoginseng for providing the basic information for genetic breeding., Method: The genetic diversity and genetic structure of the 17 breeding strains of P. notoginseng were assayed by using EST-SSR molecular marker., Result: A total of 136 polymorphic loci of EST-SSR were detected in the 17 breeding strains of P. notoginseng, with the PIC (polymorphism information content) being 0.78, H (the gene diversity within population) being 0.139, the I (the Shannon's information index) being 0.208. Gst (coefficient of gene differentiation) was 0.382 among the 17 strains. The cluster analysis of genetic similarity showed that the 17 strains of P. notoginseng and P. stipuleanatus were classified into 4 groups, while the 17 strains of P. notoginseng were classified into three subgroups., Conclusion: The genetic differentiation was detected among the 17 strains of P. notoginseng from the same cultivation population by bulk selecting. And it was feasible to detect the effect of bulk selection by EST-SSR markers.

Characteristics of fructification and seed ripening of Panax stipuleanatus were studied in this paper with a view to better understand the species' biological characteristics and promote cultivation. Dynamic of fructification and types of fruits were observed in a period of 80 days. The seeds' biological characteristics were evaluated by observing embryo's vitality and changes in form in a period of 225 d. The findings and conclusions were as follows: A plant produces an average of (38.7 +/- 6.5) seeds; Seeds become fully mature 80 days after setting fruit, and fruits grow more rapidly in 0-40 days with an increase of 1 500.83% in fresh weight. Three types of fruits were found, that is mono-seed type, bi-seeds type and triple-seeds type, and the proportion is 9.53%, 58.66%, 1.81%, respectively. The seeds are (5.16-6. 52) mm in length and (3.12-4.95) mm in width. The weight of 1000 seeds is (0.648 +/- 0.014) g with a moisture content of (55.23 +/- 0.49)%. The after-ripening of embryo in Panax stipuleanatus is morphological form, embryos develop 75 days after the seeds' detaching from mother plant and become mature in 165-180 days with the ending of the process of after-ripening. The vitality of embryo reaches 70% , and the length of embryo is (3.217 +/- 0.406) mm and the width (0.872 +/- 0.165) mm. The seeds will germinate in 195 d.

Objective: To reveal the flowering characteristics of Panax stipuleanatus and provide theoretical basis for distant hybridization between P. stipuleanatus and P. notoginseng., Method: During the blossom of P. stipuleanatus, we observed and investigated blooming phenophase, growth dynamics of inflorescence, pollination and seed setting of its population and the flowering process and its period, the regularity of flowering and pollinating of the floret. Statistic analyses were carried out., Result and Conclusion: The population florescence of P. stipuleanatus was about 60 d. The average florets quality of umbel was 44-47. The average natural pollination rates were 73.32%-95.39%. The average seed setting rates was 35.65%-51.76%. The highest growth periods of inflorescence are from March 25 to April 4. The diameter, the height and the length of its inflorescence in 10 d increased 44.65%, 42.19% and 106.25%, respectively. The whole stereotype period was the May beginning. The time that the floret from petal opening to withering it generally needed 36-48 h, 60 percent of the floret finished auther pollinating during the same day and 40 percent until the next day. The flowering and pollinating peak periods were 14:00-15:00, the flowering numbers was 28.48% of the total flowering amount and the pollinating numbers were 38.63% of the total pollinating amount. The high temperature (20-30 degrees C) and the low humidity (RH < 60%) were beneficial to flowering and pollinating.

Objective: To provide the proof for the quality evaluate and the utilization of root rot Panax notoginseng, the contents of saponins were analyzed, such as ginsenoside Rb1, ginsenoside Rg1 and notoginsenoside R1 in the rotted and normal roots., Method: The saponin contents were contrasted with samples in same field and different rotted degree Panax notoginseng. The single saponin was determined by HPLC and the total saponin was determined by macro resin absorbing-colorimetric method., Result: The total saponin was decreased 30.88% in sick root than in normal root. The contents of three single saponin R1, Rg1, Rb1 were decreased 25.53%, 11.26% and 17.82%, respectively., Conclusion: The saponin contents was declined with the degree of rot. The rot had no effect on the proportion of the three single saponin.

This paper reported the whole process of blooming habits of Panax notoginseng and pollens scattering regularities in Wenshan, Yunnan province. It can provide reference for the pollenation of hybridization.

Objective: To determine the contents of amino acid and study the characters of Sanqi (Panax notoginseng) from different habitats., Methods: By Hitach 835-50 amino acid anaylzer., Results: 19 amino acid were extracted from root of P. notoginseng. The contents of Arg, Asp, and Glu are high. The beta-Ala and Orn were first separated from P. notoginseng., Conclusion: There were differences of the amino acid contents in Sanqi from different habitats. The sequence of its 3 major amino acid contents were Arg > Asp > Glu, which can be considered as a character of Sanqi.

Objective: To screen seed coating formulation and to investigate culturing seedling technique for Panax notoginseng (Sanqi)., Methods: Fungus check for the seeds in room and study on medicament disinfecting effect were carried out to obtain three optimum seed coating formulation. In contrast with routine medicament immersing seed and blank test, the effects of different seed coating formulation, rate between medicament and seed, and coating time were studied on nursery rate, yield and quality of Sanqi., Results: The different seed coating formulation had evident difference on Sanqi. Concentration of seed coating formulation and coating time notably affected nursery rate and yield of Sanqi., Conclusion: The optimum method is using No. SQ2 seed coation formulation in the rate 1:50 between medicament and seed, and coated one or two days before sowing.
