This paper gives a full description of development of foreign air-to-air missiles in 2021. It pre-sents the latest advancement of American AIM-9X, AIM-120, Longshot projects, innovative air-to-air missile technologies, European ASRAAM, IRIS-T, FCAAM, MICA NG, Meteor, Russian Izdeliye 300M, Israeli Python-5 and I-Derby ER, Indian Astra. In the end, the paper summarizes the new development features of air-to-air missiles.

It is necessary for cast alloys possessing sufficient plasticity to be subjected to deforming progresses for the improvement of mechanical properties. Developing as-cast magnesium alloys with appreciated plasticity is therefore important to the variety of wrought magnesium alloys and the enlargement of their applications. In this paper, the research progresses of Mg-Al, Mg-Li, Mg-Zn and Mg-RE (rare earth) series magnesium alloys are enclosed, as well as the effects of casting processes. The plasticity enhancement of as-cast magnesium alloys was mainly attributed to the combination of the grain refinement and the second phases introduced by alloying elements, and microalloying with several alloying elements was more favorited. Heat treatment, rapid cooling casting and external electromagnetic field were also beneficial to mechanical properties and worth to be promoted in industrial engineering.

PURPOSE: To evaluate the clinical effects of selective laser melting (SLM) deposition basal crowns and cobalt chromium alloy casting base crowns. METHODS: One hundred and sixty eight patients treated with either SLM deposition basal crowns (110 teeth) or cobalt chromium alloy casting basal crowns (110 teeth) were followed-up for 1 month, 6months, 12months and 24 months. The revised standard of American Public Health Association was used to evaluate the clinical effect of restoration, including the color of porcelain crowns, gingival inflammation, gingival margin discoloration, and crack or fracture. Data analysis was conducted with SPSS 20 software package for Student's t test and Chi-square test. RESULTS: Six cases were lost to follow-up. The patients who were treated with SLM deposition basal crowns (104 teeth) and cobalt chromium alloy casting base crowns (101 teeth) completed the study. Patients were more satisfied with SLM deposition cobalt chromium alloy porcelain crowns. There was 1 prosthesis with poor marginal fit after 24 months of restoration in SLM crowns. There were 6 prostheses with edge coloring and 8 with poor marginal fit in cobalt chromium alloy casting base crowns, which was significantly different between the 2 groups (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The SLM deposition copings results in smaller edge coloring and better marginal fit than those of cobalt-chrome copings. Patients are pleased with short-term clinical results. PURPOSE: To evaluate the marginal adaptation of three different copings of metal ceramic crowns cast in high golden, cobalt-chrome and nickel-chrome alloy. METHODS: Thirty working dies were created from a single master die and used to fabricate thirty copings in each as the following groups: A (high golden alloy, n=10), B (cobalt-chrome alloy, n=10) and C (nickel-chrome alloy, n=10). All the metal copings were fabricated using the conventional lost wax casting technique. The restorations were seated on the master die, and high-resolution digital photographs were made of the marginal area on all four sides. The vertical marginal gap was then measured using a calibrated digital software program. One-way ANOVA and KSD tests were used to determine the differences using SPSS11.5 software package. RESULTS: The mean marginal gaps were group A: (72.9±29.3) µm; group B: (85.9±33.0) µm and group C: (94.1±44.9) µm. There was significant difference among three groups (PAB<0.01, PAC<0.001, PBC<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: The marginal gaps of three different metal copings are all clinical acceptable. The high golden copings resulted in smaller marginal gaps than either cobalt-chrome or nickel-chrome copings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
