As the import penetration ratio of textile products is over 96%(1), we have long been reported the "China-plus-one movement" on the textile-producing district. What is the actual situation of domestic and international production community change in the major apparel enterprises? Based on the survey report, this research discusses on ① the contents in which the production management and quality control personnel have been struggling with the overseas production every day, ② the problems of textile care labeling, and ③ the fluctuations of the "complaints from a market" after Lehman's fall. [Purpose] The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of using a hybrid assistive limb® (HAL®) for clinical rehabilitation. [Subjects] Ten patients participated in this study. [Methods] Subjects performed gait training for 20-30 minutes using HAL®. Ten-meter comfortable and maximum walking speed times were measured before and after HAL® training. [Results] Four patients improved their 10-meter comfortable walking speed times, and the other 3 patients improved their 10-meter maximum walking speed times. The 7 patients made positive comments about ambulation activities both with HAL® fitted and after HAL® had been removed. There was no serious adverse event during HAL® training. [Conclusion] Our data suggest that patients, who made positive comments about ambulation activities both with HAL® fitted and after HAL® had been removed, could safely improve their walking speed after HAL® training. The patient was a 26-year old rugby prop player in Japan's Top League. Left hand numbness and motor weakness appeared after a match game. At the time of consultation, we noticed the muscular strength of his left arm had decreased and that his tendon reflection of the lower-limb increased bilaterally. We diagnosed cervical myelopathy and incomplete cervical spinal cord injury and applied a neck collar. The assessment level from manual muscle testing was from 3 to 4 and muscular strength was still declining a month after injury. X ray revealed kyphosis of the cervical spine and magnetic resonance imaging revealed intervertebral disc degeneration and spinal cord compression. We conducted an operation to perform anterior decompression and fusion and posterior laminoplasty to correct local kyphotic alignment and decompress the cord. He recovered just after the operation and restarted training with a neck collar. He returned to match games within six months of the operation. Acute cervical trauma occurs frequently in rugby, and the cervical spines of some prop players develop kyphosis. It is thought that this degeneration is induced by repetitive flexion and axial stress as well as through physical contact and collision. There have been some reports of rugby players returning to competition after cervical operation, but their return after anterior and posterior decompression is rare. Because of the determination of our patient and his recovery from partial paralysis, he returned early to match games and continues competition with no symptoms at the present (24 months postop). A 15-year-old male rugby player visited the clinic with lateral foot pain. The pain started without any history of trauma and was aggravated after running. Physical examination showed tenderness in his right lateral foot. However, X-ray was negative for fracture. Despite activity restriction, he continued to have pain in the lateral foot. MRI (STIR) showed low signal line at the base of the fourth metatarsal. We diagnosed stress fracture of the base of the fourth metatarsal. After 4 weeks non weight-bearing, he started weight-bearing with foot orthosis. He gradually returned to activity. After about 4 months from the onset of treatment, he was able to return to rugby without pain. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
