The popular science lectures are one of the main methods for public education of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction. As an absolutely necessary part of popular science lectures for earthquake，the effect of the science lectures is directly influenced by the content，form and creation level of the popular science courseware. Now，there are problems exist such as uneven quality，the receptivity and understanding level of different ages and groups not been distinguished. Resources on earthquake prevention and disaster reduction should be widely collected. The recognition characteristics and demands of different social groups should be considered. The popular science courseware on earthquake facing different groups with scientific contents and rich resources should be produced.

This study aims to better understand the key factors affecting the decisions of university faculties to participate in the OpenCourseWare (OCW) and to discuss the promotional strategies. The target university is located in Taipei City and is one of the major OCW providers in Taiwan. Nine instructors participated in the OpenCourseWare were interviewed. The research findings exhibited that the key factors affecting instructor’s willingness to participate in the OCW included altruistic behavior, motivator, honor, time pressure, etc. The study also suggested a series of promotional strategies that may encourage more instructors to participate in OCW.

本研究之目的為發展國小六年級學童犯罪軟體防治教材，並探討其學習成效。本教材以系統化教學設計進行，並以傳播學領域之「恐懼訴求」為教學設計方式。在實驗設計中分別以不同高低之感受性及嚴重性設計四類不同訴求教材，作為教學實驗之自變項，以探究130位六年級學生之犯罪軟體防治態度、認知概念、問題解決及課後繼續行為之學習成效。研究結果指出：整體而言，接受高感受及高嚴重教材之學生的學習成效優於其他組別。本研究結果可提供未來相關研究、教學設計之參考。 This study describes the development of an anti-crimeware courseware for schoolchildren in Taiwan and examines its pedagogical effectiveness. The instructional design adopted the ADDIE model and integrated the fear appeals approach. A 2-by-2 factorial experimental design was used to test the four possible combinations of two levels (high and low) and two factors (perceived susceptibility and severity) of fear appeals. The participants in this study included 130 sixth graders. Using immediate and delayed individual tests, this study examined their anti-crimeware attitudes, cognitive concepts, and problem solving skills. The results indicated that the High-Susceptibility/High-Severity (H-Su/H-Se) group outperformed the other three groups. Further explanations and interpretations of the results are provided, and suggestions for future research are proposed.

This study explored faculty participation in OpenCourseWare (OCW) in the National Taiwan Normal University. Employing the concern-based adoption model and semi-structured interviewing, this study analyzed the concerns and use of eleven faculty members who had participated in the OCW program. The findings showed that the instructors participated mainly to share courses with the general public and to improve student learning. As to which courses were suitable for OCW, instructors considered the appropriateness of a course for video recording, whether it was of value and interest to the general public, and whether the course was well prepared for the open nature of OCW. The participating instructors adjusted themselves as well as the course content to better accommodate the OCW production and to foster student learning. Expectations for the OCW project included better incentives for participation, improving the recording and production quality, conducting user surveys, and more experience sharing opportunities among OCW participants. 近年來，電腦與網際網路上的教學或學習應用已頗為普遍，許多研究指出，有優良品質的數位教材，且善用資訊科技，才能達到真正的教學或學習目標，數位教材的發展與設計必須結合教學、學習、認知和多媒體等理論，有計畫地進行系統化教學設計。教育部近幾年委託高級中學發展各學科之數位教材，將陸續完成17學科的數位教材資源。本文即以高中美術學科數位教材為例，介紹其ADDIE開發流程、數位課程規劃、教材架構、審查作業及製作與應用等，以提供美術科老師認識此豐富的數位教材資源，同時鼓勵傳播使用。Using computers and web resources to enhance teaching and learning has become popularized in recent years. Studies have found that teaching/learning objectives cannot be realized without good digital materials and appropriate use of information technology, whereas the design and development of digital material should incorporate existing theories of teaching, learning, cognition, and multimedia learning into systematic instructional design. Entrusted by Taiwan Ministry of Education, senior high schools began developing digital course materials and tools for each subject and will complete the courseware resources for seventeen subjects in the near future. This study, therefore, taking the art courseware for senior high school for example, introduced the ADDIE training development process, courseware design and development, structure of instructional materials, reviews, applications for effective teaching, etc. in order to serve as a reference guide for art teachers and the general public in teaching and self-learning.

Principle of computer networks is a core subject in computer specialty. There are many unintelligible protocols, processes and algorithm. By using Authorware, authors develop a computer networks multimedia courseware which is simple, powerful and interactive. This paper describes architecture and methods of designing courseware using Authorware. The courseware focuses on three typical protocols and the implementation of the process principle and implementation method which include three ways of information exchange, stop-waiting protocol and subnet exchange process. Authors summarize and solve the problems arising from the implementation process, especially discuss on using icon tips. Practice has proved that multimedia courseware can simulate network protocols and process principle to visualize protocols and process, and also enhance interactive learning, autonomy and creativity. Since 2012, "MOOC" as a new philosophy of education and teaching model has became popular in the world, the traditional campus-based education model faces to a serious challenge these years, MOOC platform vendors have also "landed" on Chinese Universities. MOOC provides a personalized learning platform for our teachers, and provides students with a broader learning space. In this paper, a careful analysis of the current situation of domestic MOOCs courses is presented by combining with the actual characteristics of our university, it proposes that the building of the university MOOCs courses should highlight the characteristics of China's university disciplines, change their traditional concepts, focus on building knowledge. It should use the flip classroom model to mobilize students' enthusiasm and initiative, and also rely on a network of community exchanges, to enhance students' interest and motivation. While taking advantage of advanced technology platform, a wealth of resources for support, it then can maximize the sharing of resources on a global scale, and create a truly apply to Chinese universities mordern MOOCs courses. On one hand, experimental teaching is an important part of higher education. It plays an irreplaceable role in training students' manipulative ability and innovation capacity. On the other hand, wave motion characteristics have a significant impact on the stability of harbor structure and offshore structure. Therefore, the reform of the wave motion characteristics experimental teaching was explored and practiced by combined with the major teaching features and requirements. The guide line and the multimedia courseware were made to help students autonomous learning. By reforming the teaching and assessment model, the experimental process was formed an organic whole from the preview to summary. The elective experiment enhanced the students' positivity to research and trained they creative thinking.
