[Objective]The symbiotic effect of mixed arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and different inoculation periods were studied in seedlings of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis. [Method] The indoor pot test was applied and different mixed AMF were cultivated in the sterilized soil matrix respectively. The differential expression of Symbiosis-receptor-like kinase (SYMRK) and doesn't making fections 1 (DM11) were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR. [Result] The results showed that Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis and AMF was a good symbiotic relationship, and the infection rate of mycorrhizal seedlings had reached more than 80. 00%. Among them, the indicators of S6 mixed fungus composed of Gigaspora margarita, Gigaspora gigantea, Scutellospora calospora, etc, were generally higher than other treatments. The activities of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), and the relative expression of SYMRK and DM11 genes were the highest in phase T4 (two-year seedlings of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis). Thus, we believed that the biological activity of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis inoculated during phase T4 was better. [Conclusion] In short, The S6 mixed AMF inoculated to the two-year seedlings of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis showed the best comprehensive effect for promoting growth of Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis seedlings. This provides new ideas for the introduction and cultivation in Paris polyphylla var. yunnanensis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
