The existence problem on trees preserving the Wiener index of two classes of graphs is studied in this paper. The Wiener index W(G) of a connected graph G is the sum of distances among all pairs of vertices in G. If there is a connected subtree T of a given connected graph G such that W(G) =W(T), then T is called a preserving the Wiener index tree of G. In this paper, the graph S(s,t,l,k,s,t,l) is dethen T is called a preserving the Wiener index tree of G. In this paper, the graph S(s,t,l,k,s,t,l) is defined as a group of multi-fan graphs with pendent edges. By using the definition and the properties of Wiener index of a graph, it is proved that there exist subtrees preserving Wiener index in those two classes of graphs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the paper, the concepts of regular elements and normal elements in effect algebras are introduced, and some properties of them are studied. Firstly, it is shown that C(E)⊂N(E)⊂P(E) and C(E)⊂N(E)⊂S(E), in which N(E) is the set of all normal elements in an effect algebra E and R(E) is the set of all regular elements in an effect algebra E. Secondly, it is proved that R(E),N(E) are all normal sub-effect algebras of E,N(E) is an orthomodular poset. Moreover, if E is a lattice effect algebra, then it is proved that R(E),N(E) are all full sub-lattices of E and N(E) is an orthomodular lattice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective The commercial gas rate is an important economic operation assessment index for natural gas purification devices. The paper introduces some studies on improving the commercial gas rate of the natural gas purification. Methods Based on mathematical analysis, the existing equipment of Wanzhou Branch of Natural Gas Purification Plant General was modeled and analyzed, and a plan to reduce self-consumption of gas was finally selected. According to the analysis results, the study was started from the part with the largest heat consumption, that is, the steam volume of the reboiler, and two adjustments were proposed initially: on the one hand, by increasing the MDEA mass fraction and reducing the circulation volume, heat consumed per each regeneration for unit solution was reduced; on the other hand, by adjusting the steam volume of the reboiler, redundant heat which supply the water in the solution system was also reduced. Results It is found that above adjustments contributed to energy saving, consumption reduction and production increase, which has reduced the self-use gas by nearly 25% and elevated the commercial gas rate to 89%. As for the problem that the control overhead and transmission delay are large in multi-frame transmission mode between LoRa gateway and LoRa terminal in LoRa WAN protocol, this paper proposed an adaptive multi-frame transmission method, which included adaptive multi-frame sending mechanism, adaptive multi-frame receiving confirmation mechanism and frame loss recognition mechanism. The first mechanism set priority level of the confirmed messages, it made confirm immediately for high-level confirmed messages, and confirmed for low-level confirmed messages uniformly after the end of adaptive sending mode. At the same time, it introduced the Fpending mechanism into LoRa WAN uplink multi-frame transmission. The second mechanism recorded the received message frame information by bit vector compression technology, so as to merge to confirm for multiple confirmed messages once. The third mechanism used the CDID value to identify whether the low-level acknowledgment message was lost, and prevented the terminal from entering the sleep mode abnormally. The mathematical analysis and experimental test results show that, compared to the original mechanism, the AMFET mechanism can effectively reduce data transmission delay and data transmission energy consumption on the premise of guaranteeing the reliability of data transmission. Through the analysis of the mathematical principle of WP algorithm, it could be found that the partial variables determined by high probability are closely related to the backbone set and backdoor set of the formula. For the study of the convergence of WP-solvable formula and WP algorithm, this paper defined WP-solvable formula based on backbone set and backdoor set, and proved the convergence of the WP algorithm by using the G(n, 3, m) model and the planted distribution model, it gave the necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of the algorithm. Finally, it carried out the numerical experiments on the model of the planted distribution formula. It is known that focal length can be recovered from two views when other intrinsic parameters are fixed. This paper presented a more practical work to calibrate focal length from two views with unknown principal point (neither structure nor motion was known a priori). The mathematical analyses showed that the scale of camera coordinates played a crucial role in such calibration circumstance. It proposed a heuristic algorithm to select appropriate scale factor for calibrating focal length. Both simulated and practical tests confirm the significance of scale factor and the good performance of the proposed algorithm, which obtains more accurate focal length calibration than those with no account of scale factor. Without consideration of attack strategy, the natural connectivity is known as the invulnerability measurement of complex network. In this paper, a topological structure optimization model for complex network is established based on attack strategy in accordance with the node-degree by using the total sum of improved natural connectivity as the objective function. The optimization of topological structure is simulated by applying the Modified Differential Evolution Algorithm with Adaptive and Local Enhanced Operator (ADMPDE) with good performance. The results prove rationality of the model and feasibility of the algorithm. The ratio of nodes with the higher node-degree is increased by 32% and the invulnerability of the complex network is improved significantly. In order to deal with the problem of multi-target tracking with vagueness and ambiguous measurements, firstly, this paper discusses how to model ambiguous measurements as a random subset and construct its likelihood function. Then, the paper uses probability hypothesis density (PHD) particle filter to deal with multi-target tracking with ambiguous likelihood function. Simulation results show that the standard PHD filter provides poor estimate result of target number when using ambiguous measurements. After investigating the causes of the problem, the paper proposes an improved PHD filter, which uses each measurement to update particles. The second maximum value of the sum of squares of degrees of bipartite graphs with given number of vertices and fewer edges has been determined. A Prototypical Serpentine Belt Drive System (PSBDS), which includes driving pulley, driven pulleys, one tensioner and belt, is taken as a research example for calculating transverse vibration of a belt in serpentine belt drive systems. A model for estimating the transverse vibration of the belt in a PSBDS is proposed. In the model, the belt is simplified as a moving Bernoulli-Euler beam, and the pulley and the tensioner arm is regarded as rotational rigid body. The transverse vibration of belts in PSBDS in steady state is obtained using Boundary Value Problem solving technology. The transverse displacements of belts are continuous function with time and belt location variables. To use conventional methods for solving discrete system e-quations, the vibration equations of belts are discreted using Garlerkin method. An experiment is carried out for getting the vibration of belts and pulleys, and the test results are compared with calculations. It is shown that the experiment and calculation data for belt transverse vibrations and rotational response of pulleys agrees well, which validate the calculation methods proposed in this paper. To resolve the security problems in P2P networks, this paper proposed a trust model based on infinitely repeated game theory. Reward and punishment strategy in this paper not only punished the malicious behavior, but also incentivized the cooperation nodes, and the duration of penalty was determined in the times of fraudulent conduct. Mathematic analysis and simulation experiments show that the strategy of cooperation will be Pareto optimal strategy, which can punish and stifle availably malicious behavior, and improve incentives of the nodes trading honestly, then the security and stability of the P2P network environment will be enhanced efficiently. Based on the reliability and certainty of evidences, this paper defined the effectiveness of evidences, proposed a new approach of distinguishing the evidences importance, revised the original evidences model. Meanwhile, this paper defined the effective reliability capacity and recognition consistency of focal elements, clarified the rule of allocating the evidences conflict, constructed the calculation formula of the allocation coefficient, modified the evidences combination rule. The comparing experiment demonstrates that the proposed evidences combination approach has better astringency and robustness when dealing with the combination of highly conflicting evidences. The problem of matrix inequality is important in the matrix theory. With the Shur theorem of semi-positive definite matrices, some new results of norm inequality related to Rotefid trace inequality for some concave functions and arbitrary n x n matrix were given. Point cloud registration is the important part in the large-scale city reconstruction. Considering the ground plane and buildings, which are the main objects in the city, always consist of several planes, we propose a new method that registering large-scale point clouds together through matched planes. For extracting the planes exactly from the point cloud, this paper presents a novel co-clustering method that clusters data points and hypotheses simultaneously. The traditional methods only cluster the data points, so they will fail to extract some planes. After knowing the planes, we use the random sample method to match the planes. The transformation matrix between the point clouds is calculated from the matched planes. Experimental results not only show that the co-clustering method can extract the planar structure more accurate and robust, but also demonstrate the effectiveness of the novel registration method for the city point clouds. Since the process in our method is only performed to the sparse version of the point clouds, it reduces the amount and complexity of calculation, which makes it to be suitable for the large-scale city reconstruction. In order to research on the connectivity of aeronautical Ad hoc, this paper proposed a method based on the connectivity of single-dimensional airline for the problems of airline routes singleness and the lack of flights. Considering the features of flight delamination and two-way directions, it built an appropriate airplane distribution model, and deduced the mathematical expression which could measure the actual connectivity of single-dimensional airline with the whole idea. Meanwhile, it proved the correctness of theoretical calculation results via experiments. At last, it calculated the connection probability of aeronautical Ad hoc network in parts of Chinese aerospace based on the real flight data. The results show that the connectivity of one-dimensional bidirection flight can meet the requirements of aeronautical Ad hoc network in advantages of the reverse airplanes transitions. In order to improve the computational efficiency of PageRank algorithm, this paper proposed a method based on block structure partition, converting the link relation of Web nodes into the relation of net blocks, which would decrease the times of calls about the map and reduce operations, reduced the consumption caused by I/O transmission and improved the computation efficiency. In order to do further research on routing protocol of OSPF, this paper analyzed and introduced the method of limit arrangement in mathematical principle, and designed a new routing decision algorithm. It showed that this algorithm and Dijkstra algorithm were the same in time complexity when the arrangement of routing was under the condition of single strand. Meanwhile it existed that the time complexity was between O(n²) and O(n³), and it could possibly be a good superiority when the time complexity was O(n³) when the arrangement of routing was in the actual network structure. This paper introduces a mathematical model for a popular financial product called the American strangle. The pricing model of this option can be formulated as a one-dimensional parabolic variational inequality, or equivalently, a Tee boundary problem. To solve this problem, PDE arguments are applied. As an application, the following main results are obtained. The American strangle is not a simple superposition of the standard American call and the American put. It is cheaper than the American straddle, but higher than the standard American call and the American put. The berth allocation problem has been studied extensively and much research progresses have been made. However, the existing algorithms are mainly developed to figure out the vessel's best quay crane (QC) allocation. To remedy the situation, this paper first studied quay cranes transfer between two vessels. Based on the strategy of deciding whether to transfer QCs or not in different conditions, it designed an algorithm for continuous berth allocation. The parameters of hub-and-spoke network design are usually uncertain. In order to get the minimal expectation cost of the network for all scenarios, this paper presents a stochastic uncapacitated strict p-hub median model under the uncertainties of parameters. Based on the model with its high complexity, the progressive hedging method combined with the augmented Lagrangian relaxation is introduced to solve the model. This algorithm can divide the primal problem into several subproblems effectively. Finally, a case study based on the classical data sets shows the effect of using the combined method, and the importance of adopting stochastic optimization method by the comparison over the values of stochastic solution. Traditional centralized clustering clusters a data set stored in a single site, but it cannot satisfy the clustering requirements when data is distributed, while distributed clustering can satisfy this need, for it extracts classification mode from distributed data. In hot topics found on micro-blog, because the text of micro-blog is short and less words, and the terms are not standard, so the traditional hot topic detection method can not find hot topics effectively. In order to solve this problem, this paper presented a method of hot topics found based on speed growth. Firstly, it divided the pretreated micro-blogs on the basis of the equal number of window, and added up the term frequency in each window, and expressed as feature trajectory of binary group sequence. Secondly, it calculated the growth slope of every adjacent two windows to find the words with growth speed. Thirdly, it calculated the growth speed of the word's relevant users and the growth speed of the word's relevant micro-blogs to ensure the word was hot subject or not. Finally, it found hot topics through the hot subject clustering. The experimental proves the feasibility of the algorithm, results show that the method improves the efficiency of the detection to a certain extent, and reduces the undetected rate and false detection rate, it can effectively discover hot topics on micro-blog in time. Based on the analysis of the factors that affect retweet behavior, this paper proposed a predict SVM algorithm with five features: user influence, user activity, interest similarity, the importance of micro-blog content and users closeness. Furthermore, it proposed the predict algorithm of retweet scale on the basis of SVM, also, gave a method to evaluate the predict accuracy. In this paper, a two-stage method of transit hub location optimization is proposed. Firstly, alternative hub locations are determined by evaluating the attractiveness of each alternative location. The attractiveness of alternative location can be obtained by three aspects: the accessibility, the aggregation of transit lines and the layout of transit lines. Based on the alternative hub location set, considering the benefit of passenger and operator, a multi-objective model is presented to design transit hub location in a city. Then, a multi-objective genetic algorithm is also developed to solve the model. Finally, the data of Dalian city is used to validate the two-stage method for transit hub location optimization. The results show that the chosen alternative locations are almost cover main land use of Dalian city by using the attractiveness-based model. This indicates that the attractiveness-based model is a feasible and efficient way to determine alternative hub locations. Furthermore, the solution of the transit hub location optimization accords with the actual conditions of Dalian city. Using the stability theory and the associateci methods of Lyapunov, semistability of discretetime systems is discussed in this paper. Using the definition of semistability of spectrum, a new sufficient condition for semistability of discrete-time systems is proposed based on the Lyapunov equation and a rank condition. In this paper a nonautonomous predator-prey system with double linear density restriction and Holling III functional response which has harvest is studied. Focused on the problems of random selection, incomplete and repetitiveness in the ecological indicators selection of rural ecosystem health assessment and according to the structural characteristics of rural eco-system, this paper set up a hierarchy structure of rural ecosystem and constructed an indicators selection model of rural ecosystem health assessment to reflect the correlations between indicators and the operability, simplicity, completeness of the system. Taking rural areas in the Luoshan national-level ecological demonstration for example, the indexes were optimized from 28 to 18 by using the selection model. The result shows that the indexes selected by this model can meet the criteria of measurable, vulnerable, predictable, typical, controllable, integrative, responsible and stable at all. Chinese rural residence in severe cold regions uses local type heating in winter. Heating period is six months and the energy, consumption of heating is huge. In order to raise the controlling index about shape coefficient of energy efficiency in the "design standard for energy efficiency of rural residence", the paper measured 57 rural residences in severe cold regions and got the shape coefficient by mathematical analysis. The control range of different factors on reducing shape coefficient according to Plane form, Profile form, acreage, length of building depth group, and slope of roof, which affect the shape coefficient of rural residence in severe cold regions were presented. The shape coefficient can be got according to the floor quantity. The shape coefficient of one-layer residence should be less than 0.75, and that of two-layer residence should be less than 0.59. In this paper, the discretization error and the convergency are studied for the typical hypersonic flow over hollow cylinder flare(T2-97) using a several successive girds, and a verification procedures based on the Richardson Extrapolation are carried out for this problem. Then with the uncertainty analysis method and the experiment data, the validation procedures are also carried out. Service systems can be designed efficiently and effectively as a result of clarifying the distinctive prop-erties of the system. Compared to other systems, service systems require more functions that are not de-signed in advanced. Functions not designed in advance, that is "non-predesigned functions", can be designed based on an analysis of what causes these functions. This paper aims to clarify the non-predesigned factors in a service system and examines measures used to design the system. Firstly, the distinctive properties of the service system compare with other systems are clarified. Secondly, non-predesigned factors are clarified based on these distinctive properties. Finally, measures used to determine the non-predesigned functions during system design are indicated. For the traditional hybrid control vibration isolation platform, because of the interaction between the vertical direction and the horizontal one, it becomes difficult to be applied in practical engineering. Thus, in this paper a new vibration isolation platform is firstly proposed, for which, the two directions are uncoupled and the platform is then set to a three story factory model. And the numerical analysis is done for the uncontrolled structural floor response and the passive control isolation platform response to verify the reasonableness and configurability of the model. Then, the comparative analysis is done, through which, the influence of the integration control of the platform with the coupling structure upon the time history response is disclosed. The results show that for the high precision micro-vibration control, the double-direction decoupling platform can greatly simplify control design system and the integration control is conducive to further deepening and optimal control design. Finally, one-third octave spectrum is used to analyze the response of the velocity under uncontrolled, passive and hybrid control in the frequency domain, the results show that the hybrid control scheme can achieve full frequency vibration isolation. To overcome the drawback of regular T-S model identification techniques, such as the FCM and least-squares method, a new Hybrid Identification Algorithm (HIA) is proposed in this paper. The HIA can simultaneously optimize all the model parameters and avoid being trapped into the local minima by merging the FCM, Harmony Search (HS) and the least-squares method together and using the error feedback mechanism. Our HIA is employed in the T-S modeling of the Gyro-stabilized platform. By comparing the MSE performance, the HIA can indeed yield a superior MSE performance over the conventional identification methods. To improve the precision of initial orbit of spacecraft in launching phase, to execute timely anti accurate TT&C in early orbit phase, and to meet the need of the users, this paper puts forward an initial orbit determination method which regards measurement datum and precision of all kinds of redundant and backup equipments as the input parameters of the optimization model and determines the optimized orbit based on Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method. The result indicates that it is significant to improve the precision of initial orbit of spacecraft by using a number of measurement data and the precision of different redundant and backup equipments. This algorithm is proved to be accurate and effective, and can be used both in the initial orbit determination and in the spacecraft orbit optimization in operational phase. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A parameter identification method is presented in this paper based on state space and wavelet transform method. For an arbitrarily linear time-varying system, the second-order vibration equations can firstly be rewritten and reduced to first-order difference equations by using state-space method. Subsequently, free response signals are decomposed using the Daubechies wavelet scaling functions , and then the state-space equations of the time-varying dynamic system are transformed into simple linear equations based on the orthogonality of the scaling functions. The varying equivalent state-space system matrices of structures at each moment are then identified directly by solving the linear equations. The system modal parameters are extracted though eigenvalue decomposition of the state-space system matrices and the stiffness and damping matrices are determined by comparing the identified equivalent system matrices with the physical system matrices. Finally, a four-storey shear-beam building model with three kinds of time-varying cases is investigated. Numerical results show that the proposed method is accurate and effective to identify the time-varying physical parameters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
