The AES is one of the most widely used block ciphers in the world, the 3D block cipher is a 3-dimensional AES-like cipher proposed at CANS 2008, and the TANGRAM block cipher is an awardwinning algorithm of the recent National Cryptographic Algorithm Design Competition in China. The yoyo tricks is a powerful cryptanalysis technique based on zero difference, and its main idea is based on whether a plaintext pair and a pair generated by this plaintext pair share the same property after several rounds of encryption. This paper uses yoyo tricks to make an attack on 6-round AES with restricted ciphertexts, reducing the best previously published time complexity by 25:6 in the context of yoyo tricks. Second, the yoyo tricks are extended to n-tuple (n ≥ 3) and relations between the yoyo tricks and related differentials are established, more specifically, the related differentials can be represented by yoyo tricks, and 3-tuple yoyo tricks are used to launch a key recovery attack on 11-round 3D. Finally, the early abort technique is used to the exchange attack, where 2126 chosen plaintexts are used to make a distinguishing attack on 25-round TANGRAM with a 128-bit block size (denoted as TANGRAM-128), which is the first 25-round distinguisher for TANGRAM-128. Nowadays, China has entered into an aging society; how to ensure safety in elderly care has drawn social attention. Through artificial intelligence and multi-information fusion research, combined with the applications of machine learning algorithms, internet of things devices and cloud computing, this paper presents a comprehensive, intelligent safety monitoring system for the elderly in the community and at home. The system collects the daily life data of the elderly through a series of sensors in an all-round, all-time, and non-intrusive manner, and realizes intelligent alarms for high-risk states such as falls, acute illness, abnormal personnel, and gas smoke for the elderly. Through the innovative research of human pose estimation and behavior recognition, and application of multi-sensor information fusion, the system can greatly reduce the occurrence or injury caused by safety incidents in senior care, bringing safe and healthy living environment for the elderly at homes and communities.

Medical claims database is an important source of data for studying the characteristics, and burden of diseases, to provide a basis for the development of policy on management. The database is usually used to identify patients through International Classification of Diseases and free text-building algorithms, thus it is crucial to validate whether the algorithm is correctly identifing the targeted population. This paper introduces both traditional and emerging validation methods including machine learning, natural language processing and database linkage etc .. We also have tried to present a suitable validation method for the current situation in China, so as to promote the application of big data in medical areas and to provide reference for epidemiology studies, based on medical claims database in this country.

An improved non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ（NSGA-Ⅱ）for solving the large-scale optimization problem of trajectory planning in the strategic stage is designed. Under the framework of the classic NSGA-Ⅱ，an adaptive crossover operator and an adaptive mutation operator are used to accelerate the convergence speed of the algorithm and improve the quality of the solution，and an evaluation index to measure the pros and cons of the Pareto solution set is given. Considering the introduction of large-scale fourdimensional trajectories inevitably increases the complexity of the problem，this paper proposes an effective strategic conflict resolution model，which aims to minimize the number of potential conflicts and the cost of conflict resolution. Using 1 472 flights during peak hours of China’s air-route network for example verification，the proposed algorithm is compared with the classic NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm and MOEA/D. The experimental results show that the improved NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm has a better optimization effect，can effectively resolve the conflicts between aircraft and produce less trajectory amendment costs. Forest Simulation and Optimization System (FSOS) model has been widely used in British Columbia of Canada and in Changbai Mountains of China. This model is based on the viewpoint of harmonized and balanced management of forest resources and the application of simulated annealing optimized algorithms in arranging forest management schemes, aimed to realize the sustainable and harmonized development of forest resources multiple objective management and to transform forests to their desired status. The multiple functions (or the multiple objectives) in the FSOS model include water storage and purification, carbon sequestration, wildlife habitat protection, biodiversity conservation, visual landscape quality, and timber production, and the desired forest status is comprehensively defined by experts, environmental organizations, and government policies. This paper introduced in detail the simulated annealing algorithms in FSOS, including solution representation, evaluations, and transitions, and the potential applications of the algorithms in forest ecosystem planning, aimed to provide helps to the planning and management of forest resources and to the governments to quantify, analyze, and manage the forest resources, effectively monitor forest operations, and achieve the sustainable development of forest ecosystem.

A multi-step method for extracting the heart image from visible human project (VHP) data was proposed in this paper. In the first step, Otsu's thresholding segmentation based on mathematical morphological techniques called opening-by-reconstruction and closing-by-reconstruction was used to preprocess the original image in order to effectively overcome the disadvantages of using only thresholding segmentation. The second step was to extract heart data from the proposed image. This multi-step method improved the computation efficiency and attained higher precision, suggesting its significant value for application in VHP.

Technological developments and changes in relative prices lead to changes in the entire production structure. It is not easy to inversely derive the causes of changes from given changes of input-output coefficient matrix. RAS algorithm is a method to update and levelling typical input-out table. The paper attempts to expand this algorithm for the analysis model of changes in the industrial structure, and to decompose the input coefficient changes into column-specific, row-specific and cell-specific changes without setting industrial structure changes by demand-driven or supply-driven in advance. After that, quantitative analysis about changes in the industrial structure and the reasons of them in China is done in this paper. We find that while industrial structure in China is developing sophisticatedly, labor-intensive industries grow in a high rate, which reflects imbalanced regional development of Chinese economy, and the effect of internalization from industrial upgrading into regional industrial transfer. Runoff is an important component of regional water resources, and its dynamics is to some extent an indicator of water resources dynamics in a region. To know the runoff dynamics and water resources in a region is essential for the sustainable utilization and planning of water resources, and for the research on hydrological response of vegetation change at watershed scale. To disclose the water resources dynamics in Upper Minjiang River, one of the large reaches of Yangze River in southwest China, this paper analyzed the runoff dynamic features of Zagunao watershed, an important watershed in Minjiang River basin. Multi-Resolution Analysis (MRA) and periodicity analysis were conducted with Dmey wavelet function on the monthly runoff data from 1962 to 2002 observed by Zagunao hydrological station, which provided a data-based approximation on the evolution of monthly runoff in Zagunao watershed. It was found that the runoff dynamics in Zagunao watershed was relatively stable during 1962 - 1978, despite that this period was just in correspondence with the term of intensive deforestation activities in Upper Minjiang River basin. It was also clear that the runoff in Zagunao watershed was increased from 1986 to 1997, which was inconsistent with the commonly accepted viewpoint that the runoff decreased with increasing vegetation cover in forest watershed. However, the increasing trend from 1986 - 1997 was consistent with the research results in Yichang by Wang Wensheng and with the global warming at global and continent scale, which meant that global climate change plays a big role in runoff dynamics in Upper Minjiang River. Periodicity analysis showed that the rich-short water periodicity at the scale of 10 years (120 months) and 5 years (60 months) was 3 and 7 times, respectively, which could provide invaluable information for the eco-hydrological function research of forest landscape in Minjiang river basin and the sustainable utilization of water resources. The results from the case study highlighted that sometimes, it was very necessary to consider the role of global climatic warming in disclosing the hydrological response of land use/cover change at watershed scale, otherwise, it would be difficult to explain some hydrological phenomena.

Objective: To introduce statistical methods of time trend analysis on cancer rates., Methods: Cancer incidence data collected by the Shanghai Cancer Registry during 1991 to 1999 was used in the analysis to calculate the crude and age-adjusted rates, percent changes (PCs) and annual percent changes (APCs). APCs were estimated by a linear regression of the logarithm on the incidence rates during the nine years. It also introduced a method for partitioning a linear trend in age-adjusted rates into site-specific contributions to the overall floating trend. 95% confidence intervals for the APCs and contributions were described in the paper., Results: A decreasing rates were observed for cancers of stomach and esophagus among both men and women in urban Shanghai from 1991 to 1999. The increasing rates among men would include cancers of colon, rectum, gall bladder, pancreas, prostate, urinary bladder, kidney and leukemia. The rates of cancers among women increased for colon, rectum, lung, breast, gall bladder, endometrium, ovary, urinary bladder and kidney. The changes of above cancers over time were statistically significant (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01), but rates for other cancer sites changed little. The APCs (weighted method) and contributions for the cancers of stomach, esophagus, colon, rectum and prostate were -2.99% and -65.72%, -2.90% and -17.07%, 12.30% and 21.46%, 2.94% and 18.62%, and 3.11% and 15.09% among men, and -6.05% and -39.55%, -1.08% and -35.19%, 2.81% and 28.64%, and 3.69% and 15.70% for the cancers of stomach, esophagus, breast and colon in women, respectively., Conclusion: APC, and related statistics could be used to describe and analyze the time trend of cancer rates rather than PC or/and graphical method alone.

In the present paper, a general multivariate approach, estimating cancer latency using data from a case-control study with time-related factors, is proposed based on the theory for risk analysis of states. Making use of a forward-analysis and backward-synthesis strategy and excess exposure fraction, this approach can simultaneously accomplish multivariate logistic regression analysis and estimation of susceptible exposure ages and latency distribution. The latency is resolved into a accumulative period and preneoplastic period. It gives a theoretical interpretation for primary and secondary prevention of cancer.

The disposal of recyclable waste in China primarily relies on manual sorting, which is inefficient, suffers from harsh working environment and high cost. In this study, an intelligent recyclable waste sorting system is proposed, which employs RGB image as visual information input. Then the class and coordinates of the moving waste on the conveyor belt are obtained through object detection algorithm. Finally, the recyclable waste is picked up by the robotic arm and delivered to different bins. As recyclable waste has various appearance, it collects 36 572 frames of waste pictures and establishes a recyclable waste dataset for model training. This is to improve the generalization ability of the object detection model. Based on YOLOv4, an attention-based detection algorithm, Attn-YOLOv4 is proposed, and the mAP of Attn-YOLOv4 algorithm is 0.16% higher than that of the original YOLOv4. Besides, a multithreaded object tracking algorithm is proposed, which achieves an accuracy of 0.945 within a tolerance of 20 mm. Furthermore, a post-processing module acquires the orientations of the waste, which is further converted to world coordinates and orientations for the robotic arm. In the end, the feasibility and practical effect of the intelligent recyclable waste sorting system are verified and evaluated on a continuous recycling production line. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

As to the applied range and optimization of grey forecast model, according to the principle that grey GM(1,1) model's parameters are grey and adjustable, the connotation model and parameter packet formulas of GM(1,1, β) were put forward in this paper, and some properties of the model and model's optimization algorithm was analyzed. The results show that the objective valuing region of parameter a of GM(1,1, β) model is (-∞+ ∞), and the objective valuing region of parameter a of GM(1,1) model is (- 2,+2), the objective valuing region of parameter a is determined by the background value coefficient, and it has nothing with raw data sequence; GM(1,1, β) grey differential equation completely suits for the homogeneous exponential function series. In view of the situations that the locations of high-speed rail terminals in some cities are far from the city centers, this paper put forward an approach to design feeder bus lines considering two aspects of demands. One is recent demand for transporting high-speed rail passengers between city centers and rail terminals; the other is long-term demand for directly connecting the bus system in city centers and the bus system in the emerging city unit around rail terminals. The optimization model for selecting the bus lines was built based on the two aspects of demands and then the related solution ant-colony algorithm was designed. The case of designing the feeder bus lines for anting rail terminals on Shanghai-Nanjing intercity railway was used to illustrate the model and the algorithm. Based on the origin-destination-based Frank-Wolfe algorithm proposed by Anthony Chen (2002) which means the shortest-path of all OD pairs with the same origin was searched in the algorithm at one time and the link flow was updated by using one-OD-at-a-time flow update strategy, the initialization, linear search and shortest path search of ODBFW algorithm was improved in this paper, and the improved ODBFW algorithm was proposed. The improved ODBFW algorithm was used for Sioux Falls network which was common used in international similar researches and the road network of Zhucheng City, Shandong Province, China to compare the feasibility, efficiency and stability of the standard FW algorithm, ODBFW algorithm and improved ODBFW algorithm. The results indicated that the improved ODBFW algorithm has more efficiency and stability than standard FW algorithm. The time used for the improved ODBFW algorithm to reach convergence is nearly 15% less than the time used for the original algorithm in small road network, and is nearly 5% less than that in large road network. To realize the fuzzy control of regional economy, combiuing fuzzy control with fuzzy evaluation method, this paper constructs a new index system featured with dual-space for competition of regional economy based on recent research achievements in regional economics field. It also presents the fuzzy evaluation method and fuzzy control rule based on lots of statistical data and experiences of experts. The result shows that the sequence of regional competition evaluated by fuzzy control is accordant with the developmental reality of Chinese economy.
