BackgroundThe development of railways has a long history, but there is limited research on the health of railway workers at home and abroad. China's high-speed railway development has attracted worldwide attention in recent years, and it is of great significance to study how to promote the health of this occupational population to ensure the safety of railway transportation. ObjectiveTo identify development trends and hotspots in the field of railway workers' health at home and abroad. MethodsThe research literature related to the health of railroad workers dated from January 1, 1973 to December 31, 2022 was searched using the China Knowledge Network Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science Core Collection (WoS) databases. After screening and cleaning, the included literature was subjected to bibliometric analysis by applying CiteSpace 6.1R6 software to visualize and analyze literature co-citation, keyword emergence, and keyword timeline graphs, and by VOSviewer 1.6.19 to visualize and analyze country/region collaboration, keyword co-occurrence, and keyword clustering. ResultsDuring the period from 1973 until 2022, a total of 273 Chinese literature and 165 English literature were found to report studies related to the health of railway workers. The Chinese literature began to grow rapidly in 2009 and peaked in 2015, and the number of English literature published in a relatively flat state over the studied period. The country with the most papers indexed by Science Citation Index (SCI) was the United States (58 papers), which also presented the richest international collaborations. The document with the highest domestic citation frequency was published in the Chinese Journal of Mental Health in 1994, and the document with the highest SCI citation frequency was published in the American Journal of Epidemiology in 1994. The keyword co-occurrence analysis showed that the included Chinese literature mainly focused on health checkups, health management, hypertension, mental health, and chronic diseases and their prevalence; the included English literature focused on mortality, lung cancer, epidemiology, and diesel engine exhaust and its exposure. The analysis of emergent words showed that health management, frontline workers, and occupational stress were the topics of interest in Chinese literature in the last five years, while occupational stress, diesel exhaust emissions, and noise exposure were the topics of interest in English literature in the last ten years. The results of the timeline graph analysis suggested that the recent research directions in Chinese literature were health intervention, humanistic care, staff canteens, etc. There were few English-language articles related to this area after 2010. ConclusionThe research hotspots of railroad practitioners' health will keep changing with the development of high-speed railways in countries around the world. The outstanding rise of Chinese literature issued in the last decade has been in striking contrast to the slow progress and decreasing of English literature. The Chinese literature has gradually expanded the hotspots from chronic diseases to health management, occupational stress, and sleep disorders.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) application in agriculture and forestry has the unique advantages of high efficiency, water and pesticide saving, and strong adaptability to complex terrain. The application research of UAV in agriculture and forestry has shown a fast growing trend. In order to explore the research hotspots and the scientific impact of countries/regions and institutions on UAV application in agriculture and forestry, the relevant literatures in the Web of Science(WoS) core collection database (2011-2020) were collected. The bibliometrics analysis was performed on the journal articles of UAV application in agriculture and forestry based on VOSviewer, WoS analysis tools and Microsoft Excel. The analysis results showed that the number of published papers increased rapidly since 2017, the researches on UAV application in agriculture and forestry were carried out in 94 countries/regions, including1778 institutions. Due to the strong scientific research group in the application of UAV in agriculture and forestry of the United States, China and Australia, a large number of papers had been published, resulting in a great academic influence. Remote sensing was the most widely used technology field of UAV application in agriculture and forestry, mainly involving remote sensing technology, ecological environment science, image processing technology, geological science, etc. Engineering was an important technical field of UAV application in agriculture and forestry, mainly involving control technology, sensor technology and fluid computing modeling technology related to UAV aerial pesticide application.There were 1508 articles and reviews been published in 398 journals, about 1.90% of all journals included in WoS core collection database, indicating that more and more journals paid attention to the application research of UAV in agriculture and forestry. Remote Sensing sponsored by MDPI (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute) was the journal that published the most of papers, the most cited paper mainly focused on the research status of UAV system in photogrammetry and remote sensing, including sensing, navigation, positioning and general data processing, etc. In addition, the analysis of the research hotspots of UAV application in agriculture and forestry showed that UAV pesticide application, UAV remote sensing of diseases and pests, plant phenotype acquisition were the research hotspots. 【Objective】 The internet of things (IoT) has been increasingly used to improve agricultural management over the past decades, and the purpose of this paper is to analyze its development and shift in application based on recent publications. 【Method】 We used topics and keywords to search relevant publications in CNKI and Web of Science (WOS) databases. Endnote X9 and VOSviewer were used to sort out publication data, the number of annual publications, affiliated institutions and research hotspots, from which we analyzed its development and shift. 【Result】 Application of IoT in irrigation has developed rapidly. Since 2011, CNKI and WOS have both seen a rapid growth in publications in this area. We found 300 papers in CNKI in 2020, and 280 papers in WOS in 2021. In terms of contributors, Hebei Agricultural University and Beijing Agricultural Intelligent Equipment Technology Research Center topped the list in China, while in terms of journals, Water-saving Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Research published the most in China. Before 2010, research in IOT in China focused on irrigation automation and since 2011 this has shifted to intelligent irrigation, integration of water and fertilizer, intelligent agricultural machinery, intelligent irrigation, and water saving. Internationally, Florida State University System and the University of Florida led other institutions, and Agricultural Water Management and Sensors are the journals that published more in this field. India, China, and America lead other countries in contributing papers, publishing 292, 220 and 184 respectively. Before 2010, the focus of IOT was agricultural production, water management and water resources regulation, and since 2011, this has shifted to agricultural production and its environmental footprints, regulation of water resources, application of irrigation technology, and intelligent irrigation. 【Conclusion】 The application of IOT technology in irrigation has shifted from automation intelligence. The future research will be to optimize software and hardware of intelligent irrigation systems, reduce costs of irrigation equipment, big data analysis and security, establish intelligent irrigation standard and training, set up efficient wireless transmission networks, and implement intelligent irrigation and fertilization.

Objective To review the research progress, present the research status and analyze the evolution trend of hot spots through the bibliometric analysis of the research literature of cancer-related fatigue(CRF) at home and abroad. Methods We took CRF as the theme and the papers on CRF included in CNKI and WOS core database as the research object, and used VOSviewer and CiteSpace software as research tools, to make a visual atlas analysis on the research status and hot spot evolution at home and abroad. Results (1)Research status: ① Literature: 3 646 papers (1 959 in English and 1 687 in Chinese) were finally included. The number of papers published at home and abroad showed an overall upward trend, and the proportion of foreign fund papers was high; ② domestic papers focused on nursing and rehabilitation. The research area of foreign papers was more extensive, diverse and integrated; ③ Domestic cooperation was mainly small group cooperation, while foreign cooperation was more interdisciplinary and cross-team cooperation, forming a number of core teams and research institutions; ④ Domestic scholars paid attention to clinical application research and were good at learning from foreign countries and summarizing own experience. Foreign scholars paid more attention to basic research and the treatment was more systematic and standardized; ⑤ There were a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic evaluation tools, mainly foreign scales. (2) Hot spot evolution: "quality of life" had always been a common topic of concern at home and abroad. Domestic scholars focused on clinical research and emphasized "treatment based on examination of causes" and "treatment based on syndrome differentiation". Foreign scholars attached importance to basic research and methodological research, and advocated non-drug intervention such as sports. In recent years, complementary and alternative medicine had become a hot topic in the international research. Domestic scholars had paid more attention to the research of mechanism and methodology, and expanded the application of TCM characteristic therapy in CRF. Conclusion Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine and multi-disciplinary participation are the future diagnosis and treatment mode of CRF. It's the direction of future efforts to establish CRF evaluation and management mode with TCM characteristic non-drug therapy as the core under integrated medicine.

BackgroundAs emerging environmental contaminants with ecological risks, flame retardants (FRs) exhibit obvious toxicity and persistence. In recent years, as FRs have been widely detected in indoor environments and human samples, the human health risks after FRs exposure are of great concern.ObjectiveTo systematically understand the topic evolution, research status, progress, and development trends on the toxicity and health effects of FRs on humans worldwide.MethodsWe retrieved the literature regarding toxicity of FRs and their effects on human health through the Web of Science database from 2000 to 2020, screened and processed the literature using Endnote software, and analyzed annual publications, important citations, and authors. CiteSpace and VOSviewer were employed to draw co-citation network, keyword co-occurrence network, and keyword clustering map for bibliometric visualization analysis.ResultsFrom 2000 to 2020, 472 international papers on toxic effects and human health impacts of FRs were published. In terms of publication years, FRs-related research was mainly divided into three stages: the infancy and exploration stage (2001—2006), when the research on the toxic effects of FRs was just starting; the growth stage (2007—2015), when the risk assessments of FRs on human health were conducted; and the acceleration stage (2016—), when the studies have shifted to the mechanism of FRs damage to human health. In this field, China published the largest number of published articles in the world (177 papers), but the intermediary centrality (reflecting academic influence) was only 0.19, far lower than that of European and American countries such as the Netherlands (0.78), Britain (0.51), and Germany (0.44). Among the top 10 research institutions in terms of the number of articles published, the Chinese Academy of Sciences topped the list with 49 articles. Van der Veen and other researchers had a strong influence on the research of the toxic effects of phosphorous FRs since their papers published in 2012 were cited 1319 times and in the most prominent node in the literature co-citation network. The high-frequency keywords in the literature on the human health effects of FRs were polybrominated diphenyl ethers (217 times), brominated FRs (166 times), toxicity (147 times), FRs (102 times), exposure, polychlorinated biphenyls, in vitro experiment, plasticizer, etc. Through keyword clustering and co-occurrence analyses, it was found that current research is systematically exploring the toxic mechanism of FRs from a perspective integrating pollution source-exposure route-final receptor of pollutants, and is evaluating the environmental health risks via different exposure routes. The visualized bibliometric analysis findings suggested that future studies understand the underlying mechanisms of various cell damage caused by FRs toxicity, identify the key factors of change and their relationships, aiming to provide a scientific basis for targeted prevention of health effects of FRs.ConclusionThe research hotspots on the toxic effects of FRs and their effects on human health have changed over time, and the breadth and depth have been increasing. The toxic effects of brominated/phosphorus FRs have always been the mainstream direction in this field. Further studies will focus on the molecular mechanisms of human toxicity after FRs exposure.

Background Currently, the number of research papers on the application of artificial intelligence to the field of Alzheimer's disease (AD) has increased significantly. It is important to clarify the latest research hotspots and future development trends in this field. Objective To summarize the relevant research on the application of artificial intelligence to AD through bibliometric analysis, and clarify the research hotspots and trends from 2004 to 2023. Methods Literature on the application of artificial intelligence to AD from January 2004 to June 2023 was searched for in the Web of Science core database, and Microsoft Office Excel, CiteSpace, and VOSviewer software were used to visually analyze the number of publications, countries, authors, institutions, keywords, and co-citation networks of the literature. Results Ultimately 3 189 articles were included. The number of literature on the application of artificial intelligence to AD has steadily increased since 2004 and has grown rapidly since 2015, with a maximum of over 600 articles. A total of 94 countries, 3 930 institutions, 13 563 authors, and 52 019 cited authors participated in this study. Among them, the United States and China were in a leading position in this field; Republic of Korea universities ranked first in terms of the number of publications; In addition, ZHANG DAOQIANG, LIU MINGXIA, SUK HEUNG-IL, and CLIFFORD R. JACK Jr were not only prolific authors but also the authors with the most citations. The visualization analysis of keywords and literature citations revealed that regarding the application of artificial intelligence to AD, the diagnosis and disease course classification of AD, as well as the prediction of its risk factors, are current research hotspots and that task analysis are future research trends. Conclusion The application of artificial intelligence to AD has attracted widespread attention from researchers worldwide. The diagnosis and classification of AD, as well as the prediction of its risk factors, are current research hotspots. Developing adjunctive drugs in task analysis, personalized treatment and care, and improving the algorithm performance of artificial intelligence may be research trends in the future.

Background The number of researches on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer has been increasing in recent years, but no researcher has systematically analyzed it using bibliometric analysis. Objective To analyze the researches on the application of AI to diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer, explore the research hotspots and development trends from 2003 to 2022. Methods On November 06, 2022, Web of Science (WOS) core collection database was searched by computer to obtain studies on the application of AI to gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment, and VOSviewer 1.6.18 software was used to visualize and analyze inter-country (region), inter-institution, and inter-author collaborations, co-cited authors, keyword co-occurrences and overlays through bibliometric analysis. CiteSpace 5.7.R5 software was used to perform institutional betweenness centrality analysis, journal biplot overlay, cluster analysis of co-cited literature for the last 6 years, co-cited literature clustering timeline graph analysis and reference bursting analysis. Excel 2019 software was used to plot bar graphs of the volume of publications and descriptive analysis tables of countries (regions), institutions, journals, authors, cited references and keywords. Results A total of 703 papers were included, and the annual publication volume of the application of AI to gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment showed an overall increasing trend from 2003-2022, with a rapid increase after 2017 and the most rapid growth from 2019-2021. The top publishing country, institution and author was China, Chinese Academy of Sciences and TADA TOMOHIRO, respectively. The top three co-cited authors of BRAY FREDDIE, HIRASAWA TOSHIAKI and JIANG YUMING had made significant contributions to the field. Frontiers in Oncology was the journal with the highest publication volume, and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy was the most influential journal among the top ten journals for researches related to the application of AI to the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer. The citing journals mainly focused on the two fields of "Medicine, Medical, Clinical" and "Molecular, Biology, Immunology". And the cited journals mainly focused on the two fields of "Molecular, Biology, Genetics" and "Health, Nursing, Medicine". The top-ranked literature in terms of total citations titled Global cancer statistics 2018: GLOBOCAN estimates of incidence and mortality worldwide for 36 cancers in 185 countries. All keywords were classified into 4 categories based on keyword clustering results, including AI-assisted biological research of gastric cancer, AI-assisted endoscopic diagnosis of gastric cancer, AI-assisted pathological diagnosis of gastric cancer, and AI-assisted non-endoscopic treatment and prognosis prediction of gastric cancer. Deep learning, convolutional neural network, imaging histology, gastrointestinal endoscopy, pathology and immunotherapy were the current research hotspots. Conclusion AI has a broad application prospect in gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment, and more and more scholars are devoted to AI in gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment. Currently, AI has been widely studied in the biology, diagnosis, staging, efficacy assessment and prognosis prediction of gastric cancer. The results of this study can provide a reference for scholars engaged in research work related to AI and gastric cancer.
