As a result, it fulfilled the two transcendences in the face of “modernity”,and realized the integration of internal thoughts, and making a contribution to foreign aggression. The article discusses China's foreign policy and diplomatic efforts during the War of Resistance against Japan. The author reveals that during the later stage of the War of Resistance against Japan, the Nationalist government made active efforts to win greater political power for China. The government attempted to accomplish this by presenting the image of a responsible power by playing a role in Asian politics and taking a long-term view of history and political action in the post-war settlement with Japan.
