The high-quality talents, which rely on the high-quality education, are indispensahle to the development of the informative surveying and mapping. We should train not only experts in the engineering fields, hut also innovative talents who meet the requirements of surveying and mapping. It is very necessary to carry out systematic and comprehensive reform of the professional course teaching, which contains to revolve ahout the practice and innovation, and take technical progress into the consideration of the teaching aims. This paper is mainly to discuss the reform measures of the course of digital topographic surveying. It includes the teaching contents, methods and practical teaching environment.
