Es continua amb aquesta nota la revisió de la subfamília Dorcatominae a la península Ibèrica i les illes Balears. Es donen els caràcters taxonòmics, la distribució, la biologia i la bibliografia de les vuit espècies del gènere presents a la Península, ja que no hi ha cap citació de les Balears. S’aporten claus subgenèriques i específiques, així com la representació gràfica de les antenes, l’últim artell dels palps maxil·lars, l’edeagus en visió ventral amb detall de la peça mitjana i l’habitus de totes les espècies., This note continues the review of the subfamily Dorcatominae from the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands. Taxonomic characters, distribution, biology and literature of the eight species present on the Peninsula are given, because there is no citation from the Balearic Islands. Keys of subgenus and species are given. A graphical representation of the antennae, last segment of maxillary palps, aedeagus in ventral view with details of the median piece and habitus of all species are also given.

En aquest article es descriu una nova espècie del gènere Stagetus Wollaston, 1861, (Coleoptera, Ptinidae, Dorcatominae) de Tabernas, província d'Almeria. Els exemplars estudiats van ser recol·lectats per R. Macià en el decurs d'una de les seves darreres campanyes per a l'estudi de la biodiversitat dels lepidòpters peninsulars (octubre de 2011). Stagetus cobosi n. sp. està ben caracteritzada i es diferencia d'altres espècies del gènere per la forma del protòrax, pel puntejat de les estries i la superfície dels intervals i, en especial, per la forma del lòbul mig de l'edeagus, els lòbuls dels paràmers i l'estructura de les peces mitjanes, a més d'altres detalls de la morfologia externa com les antenes, l'últim artell dels palps maxil·lars, la pubescència, etc. A new species of the genus Stagetus Wollaston, 1861, (Coleoptera, Ptinidae, Dorcatominae) is described from Tabernas, in the province of Almería. The specimens were collected during a campaign set up in the area of Rambla de la Sierra by R. Macià, to study the biodiversity of Lepidoptera in 2011. Stagetus cobosi n. sp. is well characterized and differentiated from other species of the genus by the shape of the prothorax, by punctured elytral striae and the surface of the intervals, and especially by the shape of the middle lobe of the aedeagus, the lobes of the parameres and the structure of middle pieces, in addition to other details of the external morphology like antennae, last segment of the maxillary palps, and pubescence.

Sphaericus (Sphaericus) selvagensis n. sp. is described from the Salvage islands. With Sphaericus (Sphaericus) bicolor Bellés, this new species is only the second ptinid beetle reported from these islands. S. selvagensis belongs to the Sphaericus pilula group, which also includes S. bicolor. However, the transverse shape of the pronotum (with its maximal breadth near the base) and the peculiar morphology of the aedeagus, distinguish S. selvagensis from all other members of the S. pilula group. S. selvagensis lives in all the major islands of the Selvagens archipelago: Selvagem Grande, Selvagem Pequena and Ilhéu de Fora., Se describe Sphaericus (Sphaericus) selvagensis sp. n. del archipiélago de las Salvajes. Junto a Sphaericus (Sphaericus) bicolor Bellés, esta nueva especie es el segundo coleóptero ptínido registrado en esas islas. S. selvagensis pertenece al grupo de Sphaericus pilula, que también incluye S. bicolor, aunque la forma transversa del pronoto (con anchura máxima cerca de la base) y la peculiar morfología del edeago distinguen a S. selvagensis de los restantes miembros de grupo de S. pilula. S. selvagensis vive en todas las islas principales del archipiélago de las Salvajes: Salvaje Grande, Salvaje Pequeña (o Pitón Grande) y La Salvajita (Ilhéu de Fora).
