Developing the right attitude of pupils to nature and the knowledge of using its resources is the basis for environmental education and training. In this case, the teachers of biology and geography have a grave responsibility. The article discusses the effective methods of implementing environmental education in teaching geography and biology and the possibilities of their realization. The creative teacher can organize and develop environmental knowledge and responsible behavior towards students using various teaching methods (discussion, disputing, roundtables, environmental projects and essays, etc.). In this process the teachers should not be satisfied with the environmental knowledge given in the education of geography and biology, and also modern scientific-methodical literature must be published for being helpful for the teachers and pupils, as well as the participation of the pupils in the solution of the ecological problems must be provided. Schoolchildren should be involved in landscaping, protecting plants and animals and in general to be part of the conservation and restoration process. It is considered advisable to progress the environmental education of all section of society, starting from an early age, to use the experience of well-developed countries in this work and apply it in our country
